It really does feel like they've had 3 phases of their rlshp already lol.... 😂

They were ALWAYS serious with each other right from jump, but they've def GROWN in their love and connection, and the trajectory of their rlshp as far as I'm concerned.

Tomdaya 1.0 (2016-2019): The insane, young love, falling in love, puppy love, still trying to figure this thing out and how to have a PRIVATE rlshp while being in the public eye phase....

2019-2020: BREAKUP. Massive Heart break....😭 Still in love with each other but know it's best for each of us to BOTH move on right now....

Tomdaya 2.0 (2020-2022): The REBIRTH of Tomdaya... Reconnecting with each other again. Still feeling like this person is my soul mate, my best friend, wanna try again, person. 🥰❤️ Elation. Joy. So GLAD to be back with my best friend again. The love has only deepened. We learned from our mistakes as younger adults, and we've committed to doing things better this time around. We got outed as a public couple, but it's only served to make us grow even CLOSER. Now, we no longer have to hide our affection and love for each other in public. 🥰We've grown. We've matured. We've worked out our baggage, and we would never want to go through life without each other ever again, phase.

THEN.... THERE'S....

Tomdaya 3.0 (2023 - ???): We're deeply, madly, and even MORE in love with each other than we were at the beginning (as if that were even possible lol 😆). We're FULLY committed, we've moved into the future life stage, and are BUILDING a forever future with each other. We've temporarily chilled on the work life for a bit, and just FULLY enjoyed each other's company without too many distractions. London is becoming more of BOTH our homes 🏡, and the future is being planned out, phase. 🥰❤️

Knowing that we’re gonna get the disciples bickering over who’s better, maybe Thaddeus may feel a bit like he doesn’t belong cause he’s more “unassuming” than the others despite being one of the first called. The question of all questions~ How old are the DL boys~?

Very interesting and I wish we could finally get an official answer from Rejet. But probably they do not know it themselves. lol

Anyway, of course I have my own guess regarding Ruki and I want to share it with you. However, I want to point out that it is really just a guess based on my self-made research. It is not official and only my own opinion. Everyone is free to have a different opinion regarding this.

I guess Ruki was born around 1910—1912 in Transylvania that was part of Hungary at this time.

Shu told Yui in his HDB Vampire Ending about a place that used to be a paradise for vampires.

"From here on, we'll head towards Transylvania."

"It's a region that was once known as the Holy Land of the Vampires."

Because of the vampires, it was ambushed by vampire hunters and right now there is no longer any vampires living there.

Edgar mentioned in Shu's MB Dark Prologue that there are vampires living in the forest.

"Haven't you been told that there are Vampires living in the forest ahead, so you should stay away?"

So people knew about vampires at that point, which then probably attracted the vampire hunters what Shu was talking about.

Since Rejet specifically mentioned Transylvania and some historical results fit, I assume that all Mukamis are from there.

After WWI Transylvania belonged to Hungary and was only assigned to Romania in 1920 by a new treaty, which has remained so until today.

Therefore, Ruki's hometown is mentioned as Romania in Lost Eden.

Because of this change, the ethnic groups that had dominated politically, economically, and culturally for centuries now lost their historical supremacy in favor of the majority population.

This could possibly be the revolution Ruki told about in his Lost Eden route.

Based on the official Rejet CGs, I estimate Ruki to be 8—10 years old in 1920, which gives 1910—1912 as the birth year.

But there are other hints as well.

At that time, the new Romania was overflowing with orphans due to the WWI and redistribution of power.

About Azusa, we learn in MB Ecstasy 10 that he lived with gypsies back then.

"From time to time, with a quiet voice, he would tell me stories, about his life with the other gypsies."

Many gypsies lived in Hungary/Romania at that time.

In Yuma's MB Maniac Prologue, a tank was mentioned.

"Comrade B: A tank...!? From the army...!?"

The first tank ever used appeared in 1916, a fact that proves that the Mukamis were definitely not born in earlier times.

Other evidence that excludes an earlier date is the presence of electricity and black and white photos.

Not to be forgotten are the guns which shots we can hear in More Blood. When the Mukamis were on the run, we can hear single shots and not continuous fire. A hint that the weapons were not automatic yet.

There is also some minor information that is helpful.

Ruki lived in a manor with servants. They called him Master. A sign of 'ancient times'.

In the anime and the manga there are more or less usable pictures of Ruki's family photo. The clothes they wear fit well in the time around the WWI.

In addition, Ruki can ride a horse and speak English. Back then, it was not uncommon for children of aristocrats to learn this. (Of course, he may have learned both later under different circumstances!!!)

And finally, I would like to mention Yuma's nickname 'Bear' from his gang days. There were many bears in Hungary/Romania at this time. Because of this fact and Yuma's stature, his name might have originated. This was just a funny little thing I noticed during my research...

All these facts, hints and my research lead me to the conclusion that Ruki was born around 1910—1912.

Furthermore I would like to note briefly that before 1920 in Hungary predominantly German and partly Hungarian was spoken. Which is why it could be that Ruki can possibly speak these languages. And what makes me suspect that he probably cannot speak Romanian at all.

I want to remind again that this is just my opinion and everyone can see it differently. Thank you very much for reading.))

Listen look look look listen, they're using some kinda age progression technology to see exactly how the teenagers will look as adults and they have a deal with a witch that allows them to cast the actress with that exact face every time. I'm pretty sure that's the only explanation.
