I went to court but the entire jury, defense, judge and my lawyer were all fish. The sentence? I had told someone that fish fingers weren’t actually fishes’ fingers. I was found guilty and sentenced to death by lawn mower. I still don’t know what that means.

Boop!
They are my OCs <3
Check the " #The headspace" on my tumblr!
Someone's headspace can look vastly different from someone else's! Mine personally is an office building! But some else's could be a school, a circus, anything! Anything that helps reflect themselves and express what feels right ;P
These are the big dudes,
Tumblr media
Anger (her job is to protect)
Left brain (intellectual one..big boss)
Right brain (also known as "heart", also also doubles as "the body")
Anxiety (her job is also to protect and keep herself healthy to keep the host healthy)
The brains are mainly the BIG big dudes.
There are also those who work under them!
the only ones Ive draw for now are the Braincells and the Vessels but there are also:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Braincells(Brain)
Vessels (Heart)
Muscles(Anger)
Nerves (Anxiety)
The Core Memories :3
Tumblr media
They double as "core memories" but also "ages"... A core memory is created by the beginning of the year, but can split if two or more BIG changes happen to the host.
Andd extra characters <3
We have
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Judgement ( also doubles as Duality and Morality)
Her Jury (the ones who work under her)
Tumblr media
The Pastor (also doubles as spirituality, beliefs, and religious trauma)
And we have entities who became "disorders"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Depression or "Muerte" (was "Sadness" in the past)
Envy (was "Jealousy" in the past)
Those who become disorders are not inherently bad! Anxiety is technically a disorder!
But while Anxiety is occasionally given to a nice mental hospital, there are some who were abused in an asylum that just made them worse.
The doctors in those hospitals are representations of meds... Anxiety basically got the meds that worked for her and envy and depression didn't.

Me when they tell me I have to report back for Jury Duty tomorrow before 8:30 am. I narrowly missed being assigned to a case today, and now I get to go through the anxiety allllll over again.

Listen, at what point do we actually have a legitimate conversation about whether or not to cut the jury? I feel like in terms of ESC, the jury has become one of those outdated aspects that used to have a purpose before the whole of the contest evolved. Like a tailbone or an appendix on a human body.
The way I see it, ESC *used* to be a competition mainly (if not solely) about who could tailor the best song - in terms of musical theory, vocals, etc. Hence why ESC used to be so much stiffer, hence why there was little to no flourish around the performance of the song; it was only about presenting a work and its craftsmanship - to put it up for professional evaluation. I’m actually so old I remember it used to be a topic of contention whether extra effects like lighting, dancing, costumes and video backgrounds was “cheating” - because these things could falsely influence the viewers’ feelings on the musical piece (fun costumes = more entertaining = better song… question mark). In that world, yes, a professional jury was needed to cut through if the public (of amateurs) couldn’t make out the signs of quality on their own. In this world, it makes sense that the public only could speak on what… simply seemed appealing - because that’s only ONE aspect of what’s important for a song to be considered quality, professionally. Art-wise.
… but is ESC only about what song’s objectively better tailored anymore? Is it only about skill and quality at this point? If Europe as a people thought so, why would so many of us be sending easy-to-remember catchy tunes with bleating instruments and funny texts - or dancers with OK voices - when that’s obviously more about fun than skill? And why would we disagree so strongly with the judges on many songs, if we were looking for the same thing anymore? Of course, there’s got to be a certain level of good execution… but is this about “art” anymore? Or is it about what speaks to the people, regardless of whether it’s professionally approved or not? ESC has become something else entirely than what it used to be - a party, a celebration, a night for Europe to come together and have fun and share in their excitement for musical stage performance. We’re not experts on music. We’re music lovers. And I think that’s why the jury’s say doesn’t sit right with many of us anymore. Because every ESC, the people’s hearts tell them what excited them the most - be it show, personality, x-factor, fun, skill, experience in the moment, you name it - and then the jury comes in and undermines what’s essentially this legitimate experience of ours - and it just doesn’t feel right because it’s not what we felt. Take tonight. Of course, many were probably blown away by Loreen’s effortless vocal skills. It’s a complicated song to sing and we can recognize that it takes talent to perform it… but by the people’s vote, I see that more people loved the pure fun of Finland’s easy, charming show. More people had fun with him, than people were impressed by Loreen. Finland - again going by votes - was the star of the show, regardless of objective judgement of skill and art quality.
So… is it perhaps time to talk about what we’re actually seeking to crown in ESC at this point? It’s clear that the people and the jury aren’t going off of the same criterias anymore. So which is it - which are we going for?
If it’s not about what’s objectively “best art” but what’s the “best experience” at this point… then what do we need a jury to hand out “artistic quality”-scores for anymore? Unlike before when we needed them to make an educated judgement, we are now all experts - on what song gives us the best experience.
And as I say that, I think that’s it. Experience. ESC is now about this year’s best experience. That’s why sometimes it’s a funny, catchy song that gets the crown - and the next year it’s a skillful ballad. Whatever flavor it may be, whatever aspect stands out - it’s the show’s best experience that captures our hearts.
… and that’s something that can’t be accurately measured only by going off of the “craftsmanship check list” of the jury.
We need to cut them out - or rework their function. Because why should Finland not win, when that’s who the majority wanted to win?

Jury update, n°2:
That whole thing about Curry having dinner with Depp really did not go very well with the jury, imho.
There is a common fallacy in logic that's called ad hominem. It literally means attacking the person. Not a very good strategy and the jury did not seem to care they did not take a single note about the dinner between Curry and depp
When Elaine started down the path of the dinner dr. Curry, j.d. turns to her and stares her down from his chair. He has a smirk on his face. number 9 just simply stares blankly forward not at the witness or at Elaine
10 minutes into the cross-examination of curry , the jury is still very attentive but has taken zero notes as far as I can see
When Elaine started asking a question and mid-sentence audibly said "nvm, I am not going to ask that," number two is seen visibly looking down hiding a laughing face as best as he can. I've noticed a pattern with him that he likes to laugh when something goofy happens in court
When Elaine brought up words like avoiding a conflict of interest and ethics not a single juror was taking notes. Compared to when those same words were brought up on Direct the jurors were taking Furious notes
The jury appears to look at Curry more during redirect examination than on  cross
As soon as j.d. gets called to the stand your whole room is moving and won't stop. For obvious reasons
When j.d. testifies that he learned about the Waldman statement when he learned about the counterclaim, number two has an impressive look on his face and everyone is writing stuff down
When JD testifies that when Amber said she did not have any assistance on getting the AM role, and he said it was not true that she did not do it without his help, number 2 rubs his eye. Meanwhile, Amber Heard exchanges very nervous & tense looks with Elaine. Appears displeased
When JD says that he personally knows w.b. and spoke to spoke to 3 top execs and after that Amber Heard got the role, number one is writing stuff down
When Johnny says "sorry that was extra" towards RB, on the stand number 9 is seen laughing
When Johnny testifies that he never took 8 to 10 pills of MDMA, everything single juror is writing stuff down
When JD testifies that there was no phone on the wall in the photo, Whitney clears her throat
When Johnny says "I miss it" talking about the missing tip of his finger, numbers 2, 8, and 9 chuckle
After rottenborn objects to something Johnny was saying and Johnny replies with "is that better?," number 6 nods challenging at RB. number 9 smirks
When Johnny addresses the Kate Moss testimony, number 6 confidently. Number 9 smirks. Number 8 smiles. Whitney shift uncomfortably in her seat
When Johnny says that Whitney had wine thrown in her face, she gets a note passed to her by the woman sitting next to her from that firm I mentioned earlier
By the way, 1 and 9 both have furrowed eyebrows for the entire time j.d. is up there testifying. Appear empathetic
When Johnny said that Amber would get a verbal with Whitney and would grab and push her number 8 is writing stuff down
When Johnny starts talking about the Mendel testimony all jurors are scribbling stuff down
Finally what you've all been waiting for: when JD is asked what it's been like listening to testimony throughout this case and he says the accusations have been insane. Number 1 7 8 & 9 appear visibly sympathetic as he uses the several adjectives to describe how AH made him feel
When JD says "I never committed sexually battery or physical abuse" 1,2,3,5 and 8 are writing stuff down.
The finale: when JD says "no matter what happens, I did tell the truth" #8 nods.

i dont know much about BG3 but i do love AUs, so... what roles would your main OCs play in a hero/villain au? :3c
i stopped in the middle of drawing oc nsf// to answer this bcz i completely forgot about it ngl<3
but listen anon you are SPEAKING MY LANGUAGE so i'm gonna break it down for you okay here we go
now. i am going to talk about the ocs i'm mostly using for bg3 because theyre the guys im talking about most these days and most of my other ones are specific to other kinds of content. THAT SAID, i have two(2) ocs who are FOR hero/villains settings, and they are:
Jury, indie villain-turned-hero. she utilizes photokinesis and limited flight as a front-line fighter - she'll use her light to form wings and a hammer to burn and blind her opponents and create openings for her teammates. she's pretty independent at this point but i originally made her for bnha, and yes she gets to kiss aizawa there.
Vindicator, my main Sidestep for Fallen Hero. He's most often a version of Jesse O'Shea, who is my self-insert oc that i use in pretty much any IP. His build focuses on subtle manipulations over strength of mind, arrogant/ruthless/daring, and his main situationship is Ortega, but sometimes Herald. please play fallen hero it makes me insane
ALRIGHT now that they have been mentioned - the dnd/bg3 crew :3
i imagine this is going to have to be a sort of avengers / justice league situation, with a sort of suicide squad / league of villains thing happening on the other side. so, with that in mind:
reaper is The villain. i haven't talked about him here much, but he was my original Bhaalist oc from like four years ago, before i even knew baldur's gate was a thing. he's a death cleric, commits murder as an act of worship, and in my homebrew world, is one of five members of a cult dedicated to an undead chaos goddess. so in this AU, i imagine he's one of the leaders of whatever Bad Guy team exists here, in charge of getting the band together and whatnot
rumari is also a villain. they grew up as an assassin, which translates well to this AU - raised as a blade, to be wielded by whosoever is in charge at the time. depending on who they end up around, they might be reformable - but most likely not. i imagine they're the sort of loki-type, the one that the heroes capture and banter with, the one they lock in the glass box, but they always escape to cause more problems<3
leorin and kaz are the villain lackeys. they're part of the evil elf squad with rumari, and theyre the ones to match up with the heroes in the big end battle. leorin is a dark magician type, corruption and fire and whatnot, and kaz has a big fuck off sword and heavy armor - he's the tank. they don't get as much screen time as the others, but they're usually in the frame together, and banter a lot, so all the edgy teens ship them
kaine is the wild card. they're introduced late in the series or one of the sequel films, and it's a will-they-won't-they thing - they're a free agent, and they're easily swayed by power and promises of freedom, so there's probably a long arc of them working alongside the villains. most of the heroes want to take them out bcz of how big of a threat they are, but theres one or two (gale? wyll?) heroes who Believe In Them.
max is the face of the hero squad. i mean, he's The Butterfly Knight - he does the tv appearances, the sponsorships, the press releases, all of it. and he loves it! and he's not Just a face - he has the power to back it up, but his powers are really more showmanship than anything.
if max is the face of the group, etienne is the backbone of the operation. he's not a leader, but he's a guide, and he's adept at strategy and keeping his team safe. he willingly allows himself to fade into the background - which is also an advantage, as it allows him to absorb much more information than he would without max as a shield.
kit is the old guard. he never wanted to be a hero, and still doesn't. he was caught in the middle of one high-publicity incident when he was in his 20s, and got a lot of attention from it, but never became a hero, and did his best to fade into history. but when the threats begin to resurface, the new generation digs him up, and due to his situations and his mindset, he finds himself taking on an advisory role. he's the one that you Know the villains don't wanna fuck with - and he gets an arc that really shows the extent of his abilities, where he has to keep everyone else alive after a grave miscalculation of some sort, and it's like, oh, he's the one to watch out for.
honorable mention:
the warhawk is the free agent. he's a vigilante, and most of the time, the heroes clash with him because of his disregard for the law. the only law he follows is the law of the land, and he lets people know that, but when they really need him, he's there<3

OMG I JUST LEARNED ABOUT THE COOLEST SHIT FROM THIS LINK
It's a Wikipedia article on jury nullification. The practice in which a jury can say "Yeah they broke this law, but it's a dumb law".
Let this get you started on your journey friend. And always remember, just because it's against the law, doesn't mean it's wrong.
You can just say "not guilty" if you don't think their crime should be one.
