Visited Candi Tebing Gunung Kawi Temple in Bali last week. It was part of one of the most beautiful day trips from Ubud that I had during one month and a half of living in Indonesia.

It takes around 10 - 15 minutes to go down the stairs, along the dreamy rice terraces, in search for this serene paradise. Getting there feels like stepping into the giants realm.

The temple is spread on the two sides of a small river valley and it is partly carved into the wall mountains. A bridge connects the two banks and leads to the central compound with shrines and fountains.
