This is far from the only time someone has broken into a celebrity’s (internet or otherwise) home because they’re convinced they have a relationship with them. Sometimes it ends in violence; actress Rebecca Schaeffer was murdered by an obsessed fan/stalker in the 80s. And of course normal people get stalked all the time too; with the rise of the internet it’s become increasingly easier for stalkers to learn more about their victims even if they’re not famous.

Idk man, something needs to be done about this. I feel like stalking isn’t taken seriously by the law when it’s been proven time and time again to have catastrophic effects on the victims and often escalates.
