Being a plantsim is mostly helping Sala in taking care of her family and since she doesn't need to eat anymore gathering food has become much easier for the family. But sometimes she passes out at night due to lack of sunlight. She'll be fine in the morning to continue round 2 for the Cooke family....

Julien manages to find some time to relax since Sala is basically tireless.

Kerv and Torv grow up to toddlers.

Which means teaching them things. "Can you say Mommy?!"

Sala gives birth to another boy, they name him Nundat.

When Sala needs to have some fun she likes to play with strays.

And by the end of the round Nundat becomes a toddler!

Roseland/Cook

I was too tired to write up the album when I played this rotation; and I have since lapped myself, so my usual practice of writing it up when I post and carrying the updated webentry file back to the gaming machine won't work. (Yes, my determination to have my game on an internet-free machine has a price.) Fortunately they don't have much going on anyway.

Julien goes to work later than Cyd so he was stuck with a lot of job chores, and let Georgia Newson in to play with the dogs and have lunch. Cyd got a promotion and a telephone call from Penny, whose father once tried to set her up with him as an alternative to Rhett. Julien got home in time to take an outing call and went to Sue's Secret Kitchen, where he tried to join a cooking contest but couldn't get the option. So now he just has a dinner plate in his inventory. At least he met lots of new people, which is his main deal anyway.

Cooke/Wilson, Day 84, Part 3

Like his brother, Phoenix is blandly cute. I initially thought they looked quiet similar, but when you look closely, they eyebrows and noses are different, and maybe the mouth too. They both have blue eyes, but one’s light and one dark.

Nash got a new hairstyle, now his hair’s growing longer. It’s possible one or both of them will want short hair when they’re older, but for now they both have long hair like Daddy.

It started to rain almost as soon as the guests arrived, but they didn’t seem to mind.

Trip: I can’t believe you’ve already got two kids, mate - you don’t seem old enough!

Wilson: Yeah, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’ll be you someday.

Trip: No thanks!

Wilson: You might change your mind down the line.

Trip: I definitely won’t!

Two little boys, all tired out!

Annie threw Phoenix’s birthday party, inviting a bunch of friends and some of her siblings (I think it was Rose, Ettie and Wen), and then I teleported in some more of Wilson’s friends.

Ok, I get it, I shouldn't let you get that tired. But it was worth it this time, I promise.

Right after the date, Bigfoot Hunter pops the question! I started to call him Bigfoot and I got the thought that, while he's proud to be a Bigfoot, he hates that that is all people see of him and even though they know his first name is Hunter, they just call him Bigfoot. He'd like to be called by his first name, Hunter. Hunter Bigfoot.

Julien said yes.

Welcome wagon incoming! Victor needs to cool it, he was fawning over both Rose and Hannah. Julien himself was especially interested in Rose for an entirely different reason. Knowing that plantsims are basically master gardeners, he wanted to get some tips from her. He’s thinking of incorporating some of his own fresh produce into his recipes.

Introducing Kiss the Cooke, Julien’s small restaurant. It’ll be open on the days whenever he has the day off from work.

Just some set up prep work before the grand opening actually happens. First step: hiring some employees. Julien’s going to be the cook obviously but he needed a host and at least one server because I sincerely doubt you can run a restaurant in this game with just one sim. At Kiss the Cooke, we’ve got Regina Boyle as the hostess and Sadie Kosmokos as the server.

Also, I had the crappiest of crap outs yet with Community Time Mod during this round. To the point where the method to fix the ‘sims will be returning in 60 hours’ issue wasn't working so I sat my ass there on speed 3 for 2.5 sim days waiting for everything to fix itself. Truly awful experience, 0/10.

Next up is Julien Cooke and his wife Sala.

Sala has the charismatic, green thumb, ambitious, thief (klepto) and rebellious traits. She will be tending the garden and trees because of her green thumb.

Julien has lucky, gatherer, dramatic, mooch and coward. He will be fishing for now and in the future he may gather ingredients from a nearby community lot when I build it. Since he is a coward he will not be hunting or go too far from home.

They spend their first days gardening and fishing, and socializing with the welcome wagon. Sala pickpockets every visitor who comes to the lot. After a few days Julien and Sala finally kiss and fall and love and she is soon pregnant.

While tending the garden Sala is turned into a plantsim! I already had cyjon's mod installed that makes turning into a plantsim harder but apparantly that won't be enough to stop this neighbourhood from being overrun with them. I switched it out in favor of one that allows plantsims to be made by the pollen cloud in stead of spraying for bugs. Sala will stay a plantsim but I changed her back to her old hair and clothes.

By the end of the week Sala gives birth to twin boys! They name them Kherv and Torv

I've decided to play a little bit with the cooke family, and so I played with "londoste" restaurant from @plumbtales , wich I have to say is the best version of londoste that I've had seen 😍 everything went perfect, but sadly Julian past away this very night...
