Do you think he saw himself in Martha? And all the things he’s ever done? All the deaths he caused? How, the only other planet he’s ever called home, was going to be destroyed by him, again?

The biggest misconception of Rose Tyler is probably the reason why she came back in Stolen Earth and Journey’s End. Yes, originally she started working on the dimension cannon project to get back to The Doctor. But and I know media literacy is dead and people really don’t listen to characters anymore; She stated “But then then the stars going out.” Meaning her objective changed…So yes she originally wanted to get back to the doctor (and part of it was to get back to him) But that wasn’t the only reason and to act like it was is misremembering/finding a reason to put your dislike on her.

Hey whatever you do don't think about Sarah Jane in journeys end staring down certain death so many times and thinking about her thirteen and one year old son waiting alone at home for her, Sarah Jane who doesn't break down ever but she held her son sobbing at the daleks coming back because he's just a boy! Her son who probably tried to come with her and she made him stay home for the first time ever, who's alone in the attic with just mr smith for company, who doesn't know what the daleks are but knows his mum is terrified, who still believes his mum is invincible, who stays away from the windows and turns off the lights and flinches at every scream he can hear outside. Don't think about Sarah Jane who drove into danger because she had to and looked Davros in the face and didn't flinch, with every fiber of her being screaming that she could die and her son will be left alone. Just like she was.

Just re-watched journeys end and was reminded just how devastating Donna’s story is. I mean her whole character arc was erased in a second all because she touched a hand in a jar. Don’t get me wrong it was amazing to watch but it’s still just so sad.

She spent her life being told she was a disappointment and a failure, then this spaceman comes into her life and tells her she’s amazing and important and she finally starts to think that maybe just maybe she is important and she can be amazing and the whole universe knows her name. Then it was ripped from her, the knowledge, the love, the confidence, her best friend was taken away from her and she would never know it (until the special of course, but let’s ignore that for a sec)

When she wakes back up it’s really shocking to see just how much she had changed, even her voice was a little different.

Headcanon that Rose as Bad Wolf pulled all the strings to get all the pieces to align for Journeys End. Dalek Caan says he manipulated timelines to make everything happen. Yet he only does this because he saw all of time and saw what the Daleks truly were. But what if someone showed him all of time and made him understand. It's a great parallel to the episode Dalek if she once again touched a Dalek and made it see the horrors they have inflicted in a new way. Additionally, Dalek Caan says this all would have happened anyways, that he was just helping things along. There's also all the inexplicable stuff Rose does in Turn Left including plastering Bad Wolf everywhere again. And I just like the idea of Bad Wolf Rose trying to weave Donna and the Doctor's fates together and them being frustratingly stupid about it like in Partners in Crime. It's also just sweet to me to think Bad Wolf Rose knew that Donna and The Doctor needed each other. Donna just dealt with her fiancé trying to murder her and she's unable to see how talented she really is. The Doctor is sad and alone after losing Rose. He needs someone that doesn't take his bullshit but has a heart of gold to keep him grounded. I'm not a fan of soulmates or 'bound by fate' usually yet this version is hilarious to me. Platonic soulmates because ur girlfriend who is trapped in an alternate universe made it so back when she was an all powerful god of life. Platonic soulmate hand picked by someone you love <3
