It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on my blog and I wanted to start off by sharing something really special that I’ve put together. 

Back in 2018, I collaborated with Jorito, subversiveasset, and ImAFutureGuitarHero to create a remix of the song “Wings” from the game, Xeonogears. Earlier this year, the song became an official OCRemix. 

I decided that one day I would want to perform this live at a con and I wanted to make my own arrangement. So, today, I’ve posted it onto my YouTube and I hope you all will enjoy.

“Groovin’ Like a 90′s Kid” feat. Gnegon Galek now on OC ReMix site

Near the end of the last year, Overclocked ReMix, the mecca of all things video game cover or remix, headlined a Terranigma remix album project led by Jorito. Just as similar projects before this one, it has its own sub-website where you can download the entire album and read about its production. Now, one of the songs included, “Groovin’ Like a 90′s Kid”, which is a cover of Perel’s theme (you know, that stereotypical cool kid character who rides a skateboard and tells you how to be rad), is now also available on the OC ReMix website itself, so you can download it individually. It features a tubular, radical and funky (read: cheesy) rap verse by Two Games Joined’s Gnegon Galek and a sweet guitar solo by Juan Medrano (a.k.a. Sixto Sounds), all fit in a delicious package of 90′s-esque beats, synths and orchestra hits, carefully crafted by Jorito to reproduce that old-school sound.
