People are questioning and confused on why Joie De Vivre is a shock trooper and that’s fair. Obviously Brennan didn’t pre-plan it and it was just an improvised character for the joke, like Johny Gullible being part of the Avaricce family.

However I am interpreting it as being that sort of blissful dissociation feeling. During insane moments of shock and stress, when you just sort of go into nonsense wonder town, ignoring or not noticing the extreme danger and pain, but just kinda staring and thinking to yourself. That’s him. He’s doing that.

“Corecore” you are quite literally just feeling emotions. Thats what those vids are envoking. That’s that ‘not quite nostalgia’ u are reacting to ppls unfiltered human emotions. To art that’s not trying to be satire before it’s even finished. And to voice acting and animation that isn’t trying to say “we KNOW it’s a cliche guys!” Every 5 seconds.
