In my life, I happened to flirt with death more than once. My best friend too. And since cyberpunk, his nickname is "tapeworm" . And it happened that a few years ago, he offered me a bullet necklace. It broke a few month ago and it made me very sad. Until today, when he showed me this, while I'm away in holydays with my shitty family. And he's scared that his work isn't beautiful enough. Please tell him that it's so wonderful, as cyberpunk 2077 fans, to have such a perfect bullet necklace. Tell him he's the best of the best friends for making it. Look, I know logically that it's just V hallucinating, but I think it would be really cool and edgy if other people could see it too. Any reflection of V could just be Johnny instead. The fact that this poem is entitled Death of a Mercenary and can be found on Johnny’s dresser during the Temperance ending just breaks my heart. It’s so beautiful and symbolic of their relationship! “With you I wished to be and so I go”, “still the glassy dust will naught but rise”, “the chill-bleached delirium of desire”... argh, my literature nerd heart! I love this poem so much. Johnny and V love each other so much. I have spoken.
