I am one who was surprised to see HL no longer carried Vintaj items like they used to. In fact, I haven’t seen Vintaj anything there of late. Imagine my happiness when I saw some stuff at Joann’s! Even better, it was all 50% off. They had lots of wood cut out items, ultimate paint and stain, and engraved faux leather bracelets. 🌸 Surprise! @cosplayfabrics & @joann_stores commissioned me for another project, this time the theme was using as many of their new Spring line as possible! My beautiful friend @yayahan modeled one of them before they will both be displayed in the flagship Torrance, CA store! It was a fun challenge to use so many colors & textures together! I love and hate making things like this. They're a pain with several nit-picky steps. However, how CUTE are they?! These I made for my sister's birthday (probably will get stolen by her husband too) but I already have another 2 started for my bestie. Let's see how many I can get done before I lose my sewing mojo again.

Simplicity 8621 dress B. Really quick and easy pattern. Cut it out a while ago but haven't had much time for sewing lately. My daughter picked out the fabric and pattern, not sure about the fit because she isn't here to try it on, but if it fits well would definitely make again. A very nice, simple dress pattern that can be sewing together quickly.
