🐠So I’ve been playing Dreamlight Valley lately, and in the midst of simply enjoying the game I can’t help but have my crossover shipping urges provoked. 🪐 Like, imagine if you will…Ariel and Jim living in a village together.

🐠Don’t get me wrong, shipping tendencies aside, I desperately want Treasure Planet to be incorporated into this game. It’s my favorite Disney movie, and I’m tired of it’s existence being completely ignored.

🪐But just like imagine the Jariel capabilities …we’d have Ariel and Jim Hawkins canonically existing in the same universe!

🐠Like, imagine them visiting at the pond. Jim originally going to fish in the peace and quiet, but got distracted by the curious mermaid in the water, pestering him with questions about his home world and his voyages into space.

🪐Imagine them both being equally fond of WALL-E. Jim relating to technological side (and being a bit of loner himself) and Ariel having an equal curiosity and fondness of collecting things most would call mundane.

🐠Imagine WALL-E being the bridge to the two of them. Imagine going on a quest with WALL-E to set the two of them up. (Listen WALL-E’s a hopeless romantic, he’d know what’s up!)

🪐The only problem is that, you know…Eric’s already there, so…

🐠But eh, that’s the curse of being a crossover shipper…Even when their worlds finally connect, canon will stick to it’s guns when it comes romance.

🪐Not gonna stop me from dreaming, though! 😎

Holy crap…an actual Chiro picture??? Yup. Though I drew this awhile ago if my style looks a bit wonky XD but it’s been sitting in my stash and I decided to post this…finally…FINALLY drew and colored a picture of pirate Hiro and mermaid Carrie. I guess I just never could get a good enough picture of these two. But I finally did it. Plus, I saw someone make edits of Treasure Planet to have Hiro as Jim and other BH6 characters as the TP characters. I seriously love the idea. :3 So that’s why Hiro’s look is based on Jim. Plus I do ship JimxAriel, so that’s why Carrie is a mermaid. I may write a story based around this. But we’ll see. For now, please enjoy this picture. ^-^

What I like about them: Her curiosity, and her appetite for learning and exploration with her interests.

What I dislike about them: She's very brash, and doesn't think things all the way through.

 Favourite moment: The grotto scene

 A situation with this character that I want to see explored more: Her intrest in humans, I'd like to see how it began.

 An interesting AU for this character: Deaf Ariel would be interesting.

 A crossover OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship) : JimxAriel. It's a classic crossover ship.

Other ships? I love seeing her with Tarzan.

Crossover Confession: JimxMelody It's rare that I find anyone else who likes this pairing with me, but I really do like Jim Hawkins (from Treasure Planet) and Melody (from The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea) paired together in a romantic manner. Strange to say that I originally liked JimxAriel, Ariel's own daughter for Jim later grew more dominant.  After all, what kind of pushed it, in a hypocritical sort of way, was the fact that Ariel was already married to someone else in canon.

Welcome to the best crossover ship that is JimxAriel (Jariel?Jimriel? The world will never know)! I love this ship. It's got potential conflict up the wazoo, as well as the added bonus that their character designs just look good together. They fit into pretty much any AU, and have so many different angles to write from, it's seriously the best.

Landlocked is 100% SFW. I think I started writing it as a minor. As such, it's not... great. But I had the most fun writing it.
