This was on my Twitter timeline today: https://twitter.com/realkoomi/status/1562845277941219328 The video is a bit longer than the usual snippets of this moment. I read your blog entry about this. Just wanted to bring this back in case some want to go back memory lane and shed some tears over this. This is one of my absolute favorite moments of them. It has Jikook on stage, harmonizing, subversion of previous moments, subtle (or not so subtle) nods. I will now listen to the 'Truth Untold' again. Bye!
I LOVE that moment

Easily one of my favorite jikook moments. That Seoul Final and the jikookery during those concerts man. I cannot WAIT for the DVD of those concerts that's coming. It's going to be insane. They were so loud and so intensely emotional during those few days in some of their moments.

Jikook: But I Still Want You
During Seoul Final in 2019, Jimin and Jungkook changed the lyrics at the end of The Truth Untold to “but I still want you.” Compared to every other change made for the final concert,  this was never explained. These different lyrics hold a significance that still applies today.
Tumblr media
In a year of uncertainty, the members strived to do their best for us in 2020. They filmed and released content throughout the year, putting us first in their minds. They kept us going during our darkest times and made us feel less alone when most of us were struggling, online and offline. They tried to make each performance unique but with the same powerful moves and meaning. With certain restrictions, they would try to keep themselves positive both backstage and onstage. They kept the flow of music and happiness going and expressed wanting to do this for many years. Not just during the hard times. It’s obvious that Jimin and Jungkook also spoke about this together previously, as seen in Festa:
Tumblr media
A special performance is MMA 2020. Black Swan is already a heart wrenching song, even more so with the cancellation of the tour afterwards. To lose your true love and passion for something, to face those fears and then conquer them within art is such a powerful message. It must have been incredibly hard for them to go through their worst fears during lockdown and we could see how they supported each other during these times. With Jimin and Jungkook, we saw them nearly always together as we usually do. And this was reflected in their performances too.
Tumblr media
In a cruel twist of fate, they wouldn’t be able to perform Black Swan live in front of an audience for a few years.  I wish that BTS could have performed their MMA 2020 set in front of a live audience, but of course that wouldn’t be possible. The performance is so tender, as we see Jungkook being dragged away from Jimin. Jimin then struggled to get through and then the powerful lift when they reunited. You could still feel the impact of the performance though through the screen and there are countless praises for Jikook’s part especially:
Tumblr media
It would be a long time until BTS would be reunited with Army again. They continued with their releases, but we could see how much the distance between them and us was affecting them. We saw this when Jimin suddenly cried during MOTS:Online and how Jungkook comforted him, very much aware of what they were each feeling. Once we were together again,we gave them so much love and you could see the relief on their faces. That they had made it and Jimin and Jungkook seemed just as affected by this too. They have an extra connection on stage and that was in full force as they played around, got extra close and flirted together. It was like no time had passed at all. This hug is different from their normal ones, it silently says “We did it. We made it.”
Tumblr media
Chapter two began and, though they did their separate things, that connection remained strong. They supported each other as much as they could, occasionally missing each other and talking about the other at any opportunity they had. This would have been a different set of circumstances that they are used to, but they made it work. Whilst also enjoying time by themselves or working on other things. Another new situation is enlistment. Though it’s been a talking point for many years, it was soon time for each member to enlist. With Jimin and Jungkook deciding to take part in the buddy system. Showing that with each struggle or new experience, they are always there for each other. And will continue to be. No matter what happens, that look and message from 2019 still remains:

A question I’ve had on my mind for a long time BPP: do you remember how Jungkook said the J on his ring finger stands for Jungkook? What do you think of that? He could’ve chosen not to answer that question but he answered it and said it means Jungkook. I’m as strong a jikooker as anyone but it made me wonder about the JM theory. Sorry if this is not in line with your blog themes, it’s OK if you ignore this ask, I just love your perspective on things and wanted to know what you think. Thanks BPP.
***
Hi Anon,
I'm pretty sure my opinion about this is unpopular lol, both with jikookers who think Jungkook didn't mean it when he said so, and with non-shippers who can't stand any sort of shipping theorizing about his tattoos.
But, yes I think Jungkook is telling the truth when he says the J on his ring finger stands for his name. It’s possible he's telling a small fib to downplay his attachment to Jimin - it wouldn’t be the first time he’s told a verified white lie to protect jikook’s honour, as it were, so yeah it’s possible that he lied. But I'm choosing to believe he's saying the truth when he says the J stands for his name. That is, as far as we can tell, the truth.
Something that is also true is Jimin calling himself ARMY. Jimin has referred to himself as ARMY several times over the years, in situations that make no sense and that get eyebrow raises from all the members.... except Jungkook. Which leads me to think it's something of an inside joke between jikook - that much is clear, but I also think it's something more than that. What that is exactly, I don't know, but here's my gut feeling about it:
Jungkook has said the person he connects most with on stage, when they are performing in front of ARMY, is Jimin. For all the members, performing on stage is their reason to live, but this is most explicitly said by Jimin and Jungkook. Some of their most heightened emotional experiences, have been on stage and/or tied to their performances. Whether it's Jimin breaking down during Rosebowl and Jungkook screaming that he loves ARMY and loves him; or Jimin crying during his performance of The Truth Untold and Jungkook moving to support him; or jikook changing the lyrics at the end of their performance of the same song and turning to look at each other as the lights dim; or a teenage Jungkook stopping in the middle of a performance to stare at an injured Jimin during their Red Bullet tour - the other members moving around them wondering why they are locked in a stare-down in the middle of the show; or how Jungkook broke down in tears during the last LY concert and turned to Jimin for comfort who then used his sweater paws to wipe Jungkook's tears...
Jikook have been doing this for years. Consistently. There's a peculiar chemistry they show only when they are on stage together in front of ARMY that frankly doesn't feel at all like the fanservice I'm used to seeing from idols. It's as though they lose certain inhibitions when they are in this heightened emotional state when performing. They connect on a level I can't fully explain to be honest, but I think it's a connection they both recognize and perceive that the presence of ARMY is one way to facilitate it.
Basically, at the intersection of Jungkook and ARMY, lies Jimin. Without Jimin convincing him during pre-debut to stay with BTS when he wanted to quit to become a dancer, Jungkook wouldn't even be in BTS. That's just one example. I don't doubt Jungkook is telling the truth when he says the 'J' stands for his name, but I think the placement of the 'J' is also intentional, and that he intentionally placed it above the 'M' in ARMY knowing that it spells out Jimin's initials. Because I think for Jungkook, he feels that the person he is, the Jungkook that's matured into a global superstar honed by hundreds of performances in front of ARMY, won't exist without Jimin.
Like I keep saying, what exactly jikook's relationship is, I have no idea. But there's something about them that's peculiar. It's wholesome and beautiful and perplexing and simple.

Jikook - what we see is what we get
When we get to see it.
Not seeing it doesn't mean it's not there though.
Was sitting today BTS songs just playing in the background while I'm working on my post. All this shit just happening around us, around JK and JM (yes, JM is part of it, he's also affected by it all), and The truth untold comes up.
This version:
youtube
One of, if not their best performance imo. The emotion just pouring out of them.
This song. It kills me every single time. Brings me to tears every single time. JM turned away from JK singing "and I still want you" in every performance. Well, other than their last 3 in Seoul, changed by them, performed by them, ending facing each other JM singing "but I still want you". Defiant.
youtube
All about the need to wear that mask to hide your true self for fear you might not be loved for who you truly are, that you might be seen as ugly, a monster. And the two of them, changing the staging, turning to each other, looking into each other's eyes, while changing the "and" to "but I still want you"... do people understand this? The enormity of this moment?
And then this song comes up, this performance:
youtube
This was on day 2, while on day 3 we had this:
Omg, my YT logarithm is trying to kill me today.
And got me thinking about this moment we got on day 3 as well.
youtube
This love, people, this chemistry, us not seeing it as often for the lack of BTS ot7 content doesn't mean is gone. It's very much still there. We just aren't as lucky to be able to see them in that one frame as often or even at all. But when we do, there is no denying it. Even if it's for the shortest of moments.
We saw it in 2020 (have people forgot memories 2020 for god sake?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We saw it in 2021

So much more, so little image allowance... But you can find it all in my masterlist.
We saw it throughout 2022 in their Seoul and LV PTD concerts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And in JITB even if briefly,
Tumblr media
And in Busan and Run BTS episodes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And we even got a little touch of it in 2023, when there was no way of keeping them out of the frame, like in Jhope's enlistment BTB, D-Day in Seoul and even when not being in one frame, in those lives we got to enjoy when the one joined the other in their comments and even without the other even making that kind of appearance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Letter, goddamnit.
Oh and then we had JM literally flying across the world to be with JK for his Solo debut (if only GMA concert wasn't cancelled, damn it), and them dipping off for their 4 day private trip in CT.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's sad how short people's memories are. Really. I am reading all sorts of fanfictions being put forward as "this is what happened with Jikook over the years", stating facts that are not facts, creating non existent drama, because people love the drama.
This is a loving couple in a long term relationship. You know, that boring kind. The stable, loving, filled with respect and no drama. The one where one supports their partner when they are struggling. One where just being with each other is fulfilling (cough JK coming to JM's room in LA just to be with him in the same room for hours cough).
Funny how people are talking about them breaking up 2020-21 during the pandemic when JK literally had a slip of the tongue spilling the beans they live together, they are one household, in Run BTS episode 142 they were each gifted a knife. JK all proud and piping up "we got 2"...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
JM just sitting there all quiet, smirk on his face.
Stories about breakups. Stories about sexually experimenting but no actual emotional commitment. All while ignoring the constants. Those things that are just there, all the time, whenever we do get to see them:
That electrical chemistry between those two.
The way they look at each other constant over the years.
The way they talk to each other constant over the years.
The way they touch each other constant over the years.
The way they talk about each other.
The way their interactions are so different from the others or their own with the others.
The way the others are around them, their reaction to Jikook.
All still there!!!
*PS:
I wrote this post yesterday before JK's Radiohead appearance and his TikTok post-delete.
I guess now would be a good time to repeat what the wise @ourwinterspring (yes, I'm mentioning you again, lol) once said (well a couple of days ago, that is):
Rumors are created by haters
accepted by fools
and spread by idiots

The Untold Truth of "Letter"
Back in 2021, 2022, or even early 2023, if someone had told me about the possibility of JK having vocal credits in Jimin's solo album, I would have called it wishful thinking at best. But it happened, and we got the song "Letter" (AKA Dear Army) as a hidden track in Jimin's first solo album, FACE, with back vocals by JK, and his name written invisibly in the album book.
Tumblr media
The perfectly matching vocals of Jikook, with the heartfelt lyrics and soft instruments, undoubtedly made one of the most beautiful songs of the year, which could break many records for Jimin and his album if it was released in the streaming and buying services. The release of Letter as a hidden track in Jimin's solo album raised many questions and debates among Jikookers, and as someone who barely scrolls in the Tumblr app, I know I'm a bit late for the party, but I may or may not have some notes to add to the already made discussions. FYI, these are my analytic views and speculations, I am fully aware that this song has been named "Dear Army", and Jimin called it a "Fan song" on different occasions. So, I do not intend to ignore that and diminish Jimin's expression of love for his fans.
What's a Hidden Track?
Before getting into "Letter", we need to understand what a hidden track is. Well, the definition is pretty clear; When a song is not listed in the official track-list of a music album, but it exists in (some versions of) the physical printed CD, cassette, or LP, it's called a "hidden track".
Hidden Tracks of BTS
There are several techniques and reasons to "hide" a track in an album, but in the case of BTS discography, the hidden tracks exist for a specific reason, and I'm going to explain it with the only examples we have. The debut album (2013) and Love Yourself: Her (2017), are the only BTS albums including hidden tracks, and if we ignore the skits in each album, "Path" and "Sea" are the only hidden songs BTS ever released. So, these two songs must have something(s) in common and different from the other BTS tracks that caused them to end up as a hidden track. To find that common factor, we need to check their lyrics first:
Path
[Intro: RM] Yeah, wassup? You know, time flows like stars (Check it, check, check, check, check it out) [Verse 1: RM] I started from imitating Eminem, Garion, Epik High To writing my own raps Now I see that I’m already at Hongdae My lyrics back then were all (****) Bossy But we dunno, we dunno When I dreamed without anyone to stop me Reality tied me down and trapped me inside Oh, my youth trapped me My hot heart lost to my cold mind (Damn) As I blindly told myself my decision was right I don’t know whether it’s an angel or a devil, but it says to me "Do you really have any plans to rap properly?" (Yes or no?) I didn’t have more time to hesitate and didn’t want to be stupid So I came here and three years passed by Some say art is long, life is short But for now, art is life Life is sports, just do it, uh [Chorus] If I had chosen a different path, would have I been any different? If I stopped and looked back (Oh hey ya, hey ya) What will I see at the end of this road? Where you should’ve been standing? (Oh hey ya, hey ya) [Verse 2: Suga, Suga & Jungkook] A long time passed and by 2013, I was a trainee for three years I was a high school student who grew overnight (I became a child) White hair grew from my desires and one by one my many friends (Parted ways with me) I spent my time in Seoul alone without a family (That was my third spring) I thought my worries would disappear with my debut ahead of me I closed my eyes to the present that had nothing to change But the reality was different, even as my family and friends tried to stop me I walked into the tunnels that shed no light on my own I thought I would be alone (Why?) As it turns out, there weren’t seven bare feet but we were wearing the shoe named Bangtan We’ll have to go forward, take one more step, become newer And that’s how I spent my fourth spring in Seoul (Whoa) [Chorus] If I had chosen a different path, would have I been any different? (Hey) If I stopped and looked back (Hey) Oh hey ya, hey ya What will I see at the end of this road? Where you should’ve been standing? (Oh hey ya, hey ya) [Verse 3: J-Hope] 2010, the year I walked towards Seoul! I just loved to dance, and now I’m standing on top of the stage Until then, I overcame many pains and scars to prepare myself I survived with my belief to bend, not break, and ran for three years Let the stars inside my heart shine! Now shine on me differently Write “Bangtan” on the paper world I walk my future with more lights on Give a smile to that far future (Ha, ha)
As you can see, the lyrics are simple and self-explanatory, so I guess we don't need any lyrics analysis, and the description section of the Genius translation I used here, says it all:
“길 (Road/Path) follows the member’s decisions to become idols in the Korean music industry. They recall their different upbringings from listening to hip hop in school to the hard years of being trainees under BigHit Entertainment. BTS pose the questions of how their lives would be different if they made a different decision, and they ask themselves what the future entails. A very introspective track about their career for a debut album, BTS display their thought processes as they enter the music scene.”
Sea
[Intro: Jungkook] Oh, ah, yeah [Verse 1: Rap Monster] I just started walking and ended up at the sea I'm looking at the coast from here There's endless sand and the rough wind I'm still looking at a desert I wanted to have the sea so I swallowed you up But I'm even thirstier than before Is what I know really the ocean? Or a blue desert? [Refrain: J-Hope] I don't know, I don't know If I'm feeling the waves right now, yeah I don't know, I don't know If I'm being chased by the sand wind, yeah I don't know, I don't know Is this the sea or the desert? Is this hope or despair? Is this real or fake? Shit [Pre-Chorus: J-Hope] I know, I know, my hardship right now I know, I know, I'll overcome I know, I know, open me up It's the place I can rely on Think positive, I'm swallowing my dry spit Even if I'm nervous, even if I'm in a desert I'm in the beautiful Namib Desert [Chorus: Jimin, Jin] Where there is hope, there is always trial (4) [Hook: V, Jungkook] Where there is hope You know, you know You know, yeah yeah (2) [Verse 2: Suga] I thought this was the ocean but it's a desert A medium-sized, ordinary idol was my second name Countless people get cut from broadcast But someone's empty spot is our dream They say some of these kids can't make it cuz their agency is too small I know, I know, I know too Times when the seven of us had to sleep in one room With foolish hope that tomorrow will be different before we fell asleep We saw the mirage in the desert but we couldn't grasp it Praying that we'll remain in this desert till the end Praying that this isn't truly our reality [Verse 3: Suga] In the end, we reached the mirage and it became our reality The scary desert became the ocean with our blood, sweat and tears But why is there this fear in between the happiness? Because we know too well that this place is really a desert [Refrain 2: Suga] I don't wanna cry I don't wanna rest No, who cares if we rest a little? No no no I don't wanna lose It's always a desert I told you everything Then I'll just be more depressed [Chorus: Jungkook, V] Where there is hope, there is always trial (2) [Hook: Jimin, Jin] Where there is hope You know, you know You know, yeah yeah (2) [Bridge: Rap Monster] Ocean, desert, the world Everything, the same thing Different name I see ocean, l see desert I see the world Everything's, the same thing With a different name It's life again [Hook: V, Jungkook] Where there is hope You know you know you know yeah (2) [Chorus] Where there is hope, there is always trial
Compared to “Path”, we have more innuendos and metaphors in “Sea” because of Namjoon’s lyricism (it was supposed to be in his mixtape at first), but as the description says:
"It discusses the hardships BTS has experienced since debut, particularly struggling to compete with groups from other, larger agencies. In this song, BTS reflects on these hardships, fearing that their global fame and success could leave as suddenly as it arrived."
Common Denominator
These two lyrics have one big thing in common, and it's the topic they are discussing. They talk about the members' struggles, fears, hopes, and dreams career-wise. I was thinking maybe these issues are something they can only share with their longtime fans, not the general public, therefore, they decided to release them as hidden tracks in the physical album for their real fans who buy them, something like the difference between Weverse and Instagram, I guess? Then I realized that’s something Namjoon has mentioned himself to Billboard Magazine, in LYS: Her interview:
And if fans are so lucky to own the physical album, they’ll hear two hidden tracks at the very. Why keep them secretive?
"I think they’re hidden because you have to be a real fan of BTS to understand them. Otherwise, you won’t. Otherwise, you’d like to be, “Why are they feeling so confused about things? They’re good?!? They’re No. 1 somewhere, they have so much stuff, why are they worried?” People always talk about that. But if you are a true fan of BTS and you buy the album and you listen to the hidden track — if you are an Army and we spent time together from 2013, 2014 — they could understand. It’s kind of more special, more closer, to our true hearts"
What about "Letter"?
In conclusion, hidden tracks for BTS, are something between them and their real fans who know about the path they have wended, therefore they can open up to them through lyrics and talk about their fears and struggles and ambitions without being judged or misunderstood. Also, we have to debunk some of the misconceptions going around (especially after the release of FACE) about hidden tracks. For example, some claimed that Letter is made for fans because hidden tracks are always supposed to be “gifts” for fans. This claim obviously can’t be true when you are able to listen to a hidden track legally, only by purchasing the physical album. Gifts are supposed to be free of charge, like Promise, Still with You, Christmas Love, My You, and so on.
Then what about “Letter”? Why this song is a hidden track in Jimin’s first solo album? Did Jimin want to say something by hiding this track in FACE? To answer this questions, we need to pay attention to the lyrics and how the song was made:
[Verse 1] What should I say? And how should I convey it? I'm really not getting my words right I know it sounds so clichéd So that it's not taken lightly Let me say it to you properly [Chorus] I say oh-oh, I hope you can be happier You, who stretched your hand out to me whenever I fell I say oh-oh, I'll hold it now (I'll hold it) So when you feel like crying, you won’t fall [Verse 2] After all this time has passed Will we still be the same? Just like we were when we first met, hmm-mmm If we are together, even the desert could turn to a sеa Just like how we were then, oh-hoo-ooh [Chorus] I say oh-oh, I really hope that it’ll last forever You, who felt like a warm spring to me in a cold winter I say oh-oh, I'll always cherish it All those moments between you and I [Refrain] Baby, don't leave Just stay by my side, yeah To you, who see me bigger than what my little self is (to you) So that I can give as much as I’ve received (oh-oh) So that I can keep my word (oh-oh) Don't worry, just stay by my side, yeah (Yeah) We don’t know what the future holds (holds, yeah) And that’s scary and makes us afraid (oh-oh) But don’t forget that we’re always together (don't forget) [Outro] I know it sounds so clichéd So that it's not taken lightly Let me say it to you properly
The Feelings
If you compare these lyrics to "Path" and "Sea" you can clearly see the differences, and except a mention of "sea and desert" there's nothing in common between them. Letter is not a monologue about career issues, it's a romantic song. These lyrics are expressing the feelings and addresses them to an audience and appreciates them. But how was this song made?
According to Jimin, at first, SMF Pt2 was supposed to be the last track of his solo album, but in their YTC promotion and recording era when they announced that they have planned to put their group activities on rest, Jimin decided to express his feelings of the moment through a letter, and turned that letter to song lyrics. Producers liked the song so much and decided to add it in his album and that’s how “Letter” was born. Although Jimin didn’t explain much about those “feelings” and left the conclusion to us like a true artist, we all know that this song is totally different from the other tracks in his album.
All the tracks of FACE are dark and sad. Jimin’s first album is all about himself, and he talks about the painful emotions he had as an artist and a person in the past few year, but with “Letter” there is a different story. Recording Academy admitted this and wrote:
“Though the EP is technically only six songs, the physical version has an additional “hidden” track called “Letter”. The song provides an intimacy that stands out from the other FACE tracks, capturing Jimin in his best form. The lyrics are poignant and vulnerable as Jimin pleads for someone to stay (“Baby, don't leave Just stay by my side, yeah”) The biggest surprise though? Fellow BTS member Jungkook contributes vocals to harmonize with Jimin.”
A Fan Song?
“Letter” being a “Fan Song” is a stated fact by Park Jimin himself, and there can’t be any arguments about it, but that fact doesn’t mean Jimin made this song with the thought of fans in his head and all about them. In one of my old posts, I said that a faceless crowd can’t be the muse for a romantic song, especially when that song has a "standing-out intimacy".
Another reason for calling "Letter" a fan song, is the fact that it starts at 6:13 of the album, the numbers that remind us of the debut date of BTS. We can't call this a coincidence because we know how thoughtful and punctual Jimin is. But don’t forget that 6.13 is more of BTS time than ARMY time. So, as much as you call this track a song for fans, it can be called a song for his fellow BTS members.
Why JK?
Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. Why JK was a part of this song? Did it mean something for Jimin, or did he have no other options? Jimin said that FACE is an album about himself, and he didn’t feel right about featuring other artists in it, that’s why he decided to record SMF Pt2 all alone and do all the rap parts by himself instead of featuring Yoongi in it. He collaborated with several producers and songwriters (including Namjoon), but there was no featured artist in the whole album.
About the background vocals of the album, he did most parts by himself, and for the other parts, he worked with artists who already had credits in his album, such as BLVSH, Sumin, and James Keys. But JK didn’t have anything to do with Jimin’s album. Jimin was fully capable of doing the background vocals of Letter by himself, as he did for the first parts of the song. Jimin never really explained why he decided to have JK in the song, other than saying their voices match. This known fact doesn’t give us much information, but we can have our speculations.
Closer Than This?
Another thing that questions the idea of “Letter" being inspired by fans, is the existence of “Closer Than This”. The newest release of Jimin is the exact definition of a fan song, the lyrics are straightforward and directly address the fans and leave no place for speculation. If CTT is the result of Jimin getting inspired by his fans, then “Letter” must be inspired by something different because these two songs are not comparable.
The difference becomes more obvious when we look at the initial version of the Letter lyrics in Jimin’s drafts. I wonder what the Grammy journalist who called the final lyrics of “Letter” intimate would have said if they read this:
You hugged me tightly Only you who protected me Hold my hand, hold my hand tightly You who reached out my hand You held out your hand to me
We don’t know what was going on in Jimin’s mind when he wrote these, but we can see that the initial lyrics have been moderated, and the intimate parts, which clearly refer to a person, didn’t end up in the final lyrics. FYI, I’m doing a lyric analysis here, and this is not a complaint or conspiracy theory because Jimin said that he liked the way the final version came out, and it's all that matters.
For Fans, Not About Fans
So far we made it clear that "hidden tracks" are not about fans, they are for fans like any other BTS song, but the hidden tracks are a secret between the artist and the fan, something that only the true and dedicated fan can understand, and this applies to Jimin's "Letter".
Jimin gave up on many records for streaming and buying by releasing this song as a hidden track in his album. So, there must be an important message in this song that he wanted to convey to the true fans. He did his share of being thankful to fans by CTT, and I don't think he needed to do it twice in a year.
Maybe you prefer to think Jimin just made this song for ARMY and hid it in the album as a surprise or because it didn’t match with the whole concept of FACE, and you might not be wrong about any of that. But, don’t forget that he didn’t explain anything about this, and we both are just making assumtions.
Yes, maybe Jimin didn't acknowledge JK being a part of Letter in his promotion era, but JK did everything he could for his share. A few hours before the release of FACE, he started a live and played a part of it with his guitar, and months later, he watched Jimin's live performance for Festa while harmonizing with it and reminding us that he knows the lyrics very well. In Jimin's documentary he was very supportive and even teased for a live performance with him in future.
Why Just Jikook?
Jimin and Jungkook are not the only members of BTS. But I don't know why everytime Jimin or JK do something with romantic undertones, the fans (OT7 ARMYs, to be more specific) immediately try to label it as "About ARMY". I usually don't see this energy with the other five members. I'm perfectly sure they are also very grateful for ARMY, they have released several songs about them, and they would have loved to collaborate in a fan song with Jimin, too.
Then why Jimin only included JK in Letter? Why he wanted to sing for "ARMY" with him? Unless we assume Jimin's gratitude towards ARMY has connections with JK, and I don’t even want to bring up 2019 "I am army" jokes. But "Letter" is the song the most optimistic Jikookers didn't expect to exist. You may try to ignore and normalize it, but you can't deny the fact that Letter proved Jikook's unbreakable connection as two harmonic colleages, long time friends, and inseparable souls.

Can't think of a more manipulative person than someone who uses Jimin's personal, emotional struggles to get back at others.
She basically just said:
"Jimin suffered so much to do this album and some of you selfishly wanted the company to restock his CDs".
People LOVED the album, by the way, short-sighted, delusional, naive jikooker. Everyone LOVED it and people just wanted it to have a fair chance at being even more successful and celebrated and remembered than it was.
Nobody wanted Jimin to change the way he expressed his emotions or the concept of anything related to his music.
Jungkook got even remix CDs for his very personal, very real (as we all could see on video evidence) songs about fucking women seven days a week. Let that sink in.
So because Jimin struggled, everyone who wanted to support him had to struggle to give him recognition too? All the negativity that came after had everything to do with the company, not with the album or the music itself.
So because Jungkook didn't write one single song in his album, an album that's not even in a language he speaks btw, there's no pressure on him to get handed everything? Every stupid, little thing that costs nothing for a company to provide?
Now the ones who do the least deserve more? Is that it? Now people aren't supposed to complain about the ones who work the hardest receiving the least?
I hadn't even seen this post when I wrote this but this type of dumb people is exactly what I was talking about:

MY FAVOURITE JIKOOK VOCALS
I'd like to grab a chance when my new love, Letter is out. This a post dedicated to all of my favourite jikook vocals be it on or off stage. This post will highlight their "two shades of tender in a tug of war". Please be prepared to reminisce about the old jikookery days. Don't say I didn't warn you! Let's get it~~
Tumblr media
ALSO! I am not ranking the vocals. What song comes up to my mind first grabs the top spot.
LETTER FT. JUNGKOOK
There's no official MV for this lovely song and won't likely have one as it is meant to be a hidden track. Just putting this lovely cover by Elisssa here. Check it out!

THE TRUTH UNTOLD
TTU is a song that carries a lot of emotions and it's very well executed by BTS. The vocal line surely knows how to change their mood during songs and I applaud them for their professionalism. Ok okay, but I'm still not gonna deny that jk cracked up when Jin didn't hit his note well 😭💜 (my JINKOOK heart)
Do you remember the time where they changed the lyrics from "and I still want you" to "But I still want you" while facing eachother, still not breaking their locked gazes when the lights went out?

Hello 🫶 How are you Shaz?
Me not so well… yeah HOW the fuck they want me to not be delulu with Jimin’s upcoming documentary (yeah I know same question as last ask sorry not sorry!).
Okay hear me out: We just have received the duration of all the parts of his documentary… Guess what nearly two hours in total! And then you have the duration for « The truth untold » which if you remember was told to be about Letter… okay so: 2 minutes and 26 seconds… that’s all! Okay so hear me out (again): at the end of the documentary we will have the part of the Truth untold, and it will start with JK saying « So he wrote this beautiful love song about me, our love story and I ask me to sing it with him. So Here I am! »… What do you think?! 😬😂Yeah I know delulu I am delulu I will be until its release.
Have a nice day 👩‍🦯
😂😂😂😂
We can speculate my lovely. And listen, the thought did occur to me.
Tumblr media
I saw that and was like, why is the truth untold 2 minutes long? Is it because he's going to drop a bomb? 👀 we can be delulu, sure
Tumblr media
But, if what happened before the SEVEN MV dropped has taught me anything, is that patience is key. 🙇🏾‍♀️
Don't mean I ain't nervous AF though. I don't really trust Jikook at this particular juncture. But guess we'll just have to wait.
Whatever it is though, with a title like that, its bound to be interesting.
Edit: I take that back
Tumblr media
Not even close to what we were thinking @jjkk131 😂😂 we really are 🤡🤡
Watch JK and letter not come up on this either

Hey, Storm! There's a never-ending list of jikook moments throughout the years. If you would be given a chance to ask JM and JK to share their thoughts or explain what was going on in some of them, which ones would you choose and why?
Personally, I'd love to hear them talk about that soft MMA 2018 moment, how they came about changing their performance in The Truth Untold during the final leg of the Seoul concerts, and ask why the air seemed to be charged during 5th Muster. And maybe, try to ask JK about Rosebowl (might have a couple of questions about this). There's so much more but I'll stop myself now 😂
Thank youuu!
Cute! We are going to play this game in the fictional world of pretend. Where we pretend that jikook have confirmed themselves as queer and as boyfriends together and are okay with the questions. Because asking questions about their relationship otherwise would be not okay. Lol you know. Also in the fictional world of pretend where I'd get to meet them and ask relationship questions to begin with 😅🤣
I'd want to know if this was them screwing around of if there was an end goal here and what it was and if they practice at home lol
Tumblr media
I'd want to know what JK was going to tell us later about why that ring (jimins ring) was so special during 5th muster
Tumblr media
I'd want to know what JK did with that tissue.
Tumblr media
I'd want to know what's so funny about Laguna
Tumblr media
I'd love to hear their thoughts over Toyko in more details, especially if it WAS a romantic trip. Tell me moreee
Tumblr media
Jungkook, WHAT DID YOU SAY
Tumblr media
Why did you take and submit this photo to the exhibition?! What were yall doing 😭 (I go down a spiral of mental confusion over this damn Serendipity exhibition lol)
Tumblr media
Jungkook. The thought process and how that went afterwards?! Please share
Tumblr media
Jimin, did you stop asking for kisses because you started getting them? Why did you keep asking for so many 😭🤣
Tumblr media
What's your anniversaries that you celebrate if any. I just would be curious about any theories being right or not lmao
Tumblr media
I also would have questions about the rainy day fight.... and questions about so much else. And questions about their timeline. How they got together, who confessed, who kissed who first. So much more. I hope they release a tell all autobiography about their stories one day. Lol

not bighit once again being subtle with putting the truth untold underneath the 'cooking with jikook' portion of the doc
shades of calling *that* chapter of the book "real" love
(not jm telling jk he could consider letter his song too after he helped on the track)

There's a lot of Jimin content coming our way between now and the end of October. There's a whole release calendar filled with tantalizing sounding things like The Truth Untold.

This teaser also dropped today and we start to get an idea of how intense the production process was for him.

What with JK's Golden countdown and this it really is turning out to be a good month for jikook fans.

How I started to be a Jikook supporter
Hello, I am Julia and I want to share my story about how I started to be a Jikook supporter. 🙂 I always knew BTS exist, but I have never watched them. In 2022 I saw some BTS edits on Instagram and V quite cought my attention, so I started to watch a lot of videos and I quickly became obsessed of them. I immediately learnt they are all multitalented, amazing singers and dancers, humble, down to earth, funny and one of the best looking people in the world.
When I watched their friendship videos, since the beginning I liked Jungkook and Jimin’s bond the most. At that time I thought they are closest best friends. I knew about shipping and I found it disrespectful, because they are real people. But I saw a lot of videos and comments about how V and Jungkook are a couple or the most realistic ship ever. (When someone got to BTS it’s one of the first things he will see, because it’s the most popular ship and it’s the result of their long-term manipulation). I wanted to know why they think they are dating, so I watched their videos, but they were too exaggerated and falsely narrated in comparison to the original content. I knew they are best friends and I absolutely love their bond.
Meanwhile I watched a lot of Jikook videos, because I loved those two together and I got to see GCF Tokyo. And GCF Saipan. I found it beautiful, but I started to think about the songs choice and scenes placement specifically to the lyrics and I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Jungkook is a perfectionist, he does everything to the detail and doesn’t let anything to be just a coincidence. I questioned myself why did he choose that song? Could this possibly mean they are more than friends? Then I saw The ultimate Jikook video on YouTube and it was the ultimate eye-opener for me. I started watching Jikook videos (always with original content), reading Jikook comments and blogs and I learnt about everything that happened. It took me two weeks to be 100% convinced they are more than friends and every other video just convinced me more.
I think the biggest proofs are those things, they 100% wouldn’t do and say if they were just friends. GCF Tokyo with rainbow ferris wheel at Love is a road that goes both ways is my No1 favourite, I am getting so emotional everytime I see it, it’s beautiful, it’s a masterpiece and it’s a confirmation by Jungkook himself. Than Rose Bowl. Hickey, which didn’t need to be shown, they wanted it to be shown. MMA 2018. Changing the last line in The Truth Untold from And I still want you to But I still want you and singing it together (even it’s just Jimin’s line) 3 times. Osaka vlive where it’s so obvious someone was there and that it was Jimin.
And when you think how they are always together, how they look at each other, how they support each other, how they flirt with each other, how they behave and speak like a typical korean couple, how many suspicious things have happened, how other members often react to them, their vlives, tweets, body language, Serendipity song…
I came to the conclusion people either didn’t see everything that happened between them, or they ignored it, or they denied it. Some OT7 army often say don’t ship them, they are like brothers, but you can support all 7 members and Jikook as a couple at the same time. Some of them say don’t ship them only because they are homophobes. And other shippers=tkkrs ignored, denied and twisted every Jikook interaction, because it doesn’t fit their imaginary ship.
Jikook is not a ship, they are real couple. Of course I shouldn’t claim that until Jungkook and Jimin confirm it (which may never happen even if they are a couple, we can just hope one day they will feel safe to share their story), but if you aren’t blinding yourself, you can see it too. Moreover they have the most beautiful love story I have ever seen. They are truly once in a life time lovestory. Sometimes I can’t believe love like this exists. I just wish they will stay happy no matter what happens in the future and that their bond will stay unbreakable. And my dream is to have their song with music video and dance (or even better contemporary dance) because they are the most powerful and iconic duo in the world. ☀️🌙
Last thing I want to mention is what I’ve learnt about tkkrs after I came to Twitter and saw the dark side of it. They are so obsessed with something they want to be real (but it’s not), that they are manipulating and lying as much as they can. For example: GCF Tokyo was supposed to be a Vminkook trip. Who said that? Tkkr. Also ignoring what they said, for example when V said get out of your imagination, it’s not good in there or Jimin I like you the most…which is very disrespectful. And many of them are so jealous of Jikook and jikookers that they hate them together and downplay every single thing to fanservis and bighit script. They also hate Jimin and even Jungkook too, when he doesn’t fit their narratives. How sick and disgusting is to hate another member because of a ship? We should be more respectful to make the world a better place to live. ✨

Jikook in Japan, 2019. Part One: Osaka.
Tumblr media
The members arrived in Osaka on 4th July, 2019. They started rehearsals the next day, during which Tae posted a photo of Jimin and Jungkook playing with a mirror. The photo seems to have been taken from their time in America earlier in the year.
Tumblr media
Whilst practising on stage, Jikook were their usual playful selves. They danced together during Best of Me and teased each other about their hair flipping habits. Jungkook stayed behind to practise Euphoria. Without him knowing, Jimin joined the front of the backup dancers. Jungkook thought Jimin left, so he was pleasantly surprised to see him there. After making Jungkook smile, Jimin watched from the sidelines.
Tumblr media
On the day of the concert, before it starts, Jungkook offers Jimin some milk from the same glass. They end up playfully battling for it with their straws, even though there’s milk right behind them. Jungkook admits defeat with a giggly Jimin at the end.
Tumblr media
After Fake Love, Namjoon asks the staff to check on Jimin because he is in pain. Tae is also struggling. Hobi suggests they change Fake Love. The next day they skip doing the choreography. Jimin goes into more detail about what happened backstage. During Anpanman, Jimin sits on the slide by himself. Jungkook notices and joins him. They keep close together and relatively still. When Jimin gets up, Jungkook starts bouncing on the slide, showing how attentive he is to Jimin’s condition.
Tumblr media
At the end of So What, JK aims his water bottle towards Jimin. Jimin bends his head, waiting, but JK splashes it on his tummy instead. It reveals Jimin's abs and tattoo. JK says “Sexy" after doing this and Jimin follows it up by singing “you’re so sexy.” Before they bow and go down the lift, Jungkook pokes Jimin with his mic. Jimin retaliates by stepping on Jungkook's foot, something they have cutely done in the past. They continue their playfulness as always. When they go down the lift, Jimin and Jungkook stay behind and keep popping up to say goodbye. Eventually they leave and they go home to get ready for the next day
Tumblr media
The next day, Jimin and Jungkook arrive to get ready to practise. Jimin mistakes the room they’re meant to go in and Jungkook playfully rubs his back, aware of his muscle pain. They make each other smile once inside.
Tumblr media
During the concert itself, Jimin puts Jin's rose from BWL into his mouth. He then shares it with Jungkook for his ending pose, showing their great performance teamwork.  Before going up for The Truth Untold, Jimin struggled to get onto the lift and Jungkook helped him with his in-ear. He helped him in whatever way he could. During So What, Jimin puts his arms around Jungkook. When they separate, Jungkook looks at the big screen and is endeared by Jimin’s actions.
Tumblr media
Jikook do their usual sweet walk during Make It Right with the following lyrics: I can make it better, I can hold you tighter. Oh oh I can make it right It was all to no avail, anything other than you Oh oh I can make it right.
Tumblr media
As they are saying goodbye to the audience, Jimin films JK. He continues to film him on the carts too. Jimin loves filming concert memories, often keeping them privately for himself. When they bow, Jimin goes in between JK and Jin.  After the concert Jungkook is being filmed, when he is called by Jimin. He goes to join him and they talk about their eating plans. Jimin and Jungkook continue to walk together until they leave. All these Jikook moments in Japan, behind the scenes and on stage, show how close Jikook are. They look out for one another when they are not feeling their best, having that connection between them at all times.
Tumblr media
Tumblr would not let me upload the twitter links. Here is the Twitter edition with videos, if you prefer:
