God longs to fill every void within us. #needgod To be satisfied means we are not yearning for something else. When our hunger is satisfied, we don’t want any more food. When our thirst is satisfied, we don’t crave more water. When we are in a right relationship with God, our souls are satisfied. #nosatisfaction The hopelessness you feel, the depression, the sadness, it is the yearning of your soul for God. He can fill that void. #godisbetter The only one who can truly satisfy the human heart is the One who made it. #godisenough Seeking satisfaction somewhere other than God’s presence will always lead to disappointment. #emptiness God did not make you to be completed by another person. The only void that exists within you is when you avoid being completed by God. #feelingempty People are constantly searching for a way to be happy and to fill the void in their lives. The answer is Jesus. The answer will always be Jesus. #godovereverything Every time you try to satisfy yourself, you’re robbing God of an opportunity to satisfy you the right way. #onlyjesus No person, profession, possession or pain-relieving substance will ever fill the cup of a wounded, empty heart. It’s an emptiness only God can fill. #godisallineed Drinking, clubbing, sex, etc. will never fill that void of emptiness...only Jesus can! Stop trying to medicate your problems with temporary solutions. God has the peace you need. Seek Him! #inchristalone People won't fulfill you. Prestige won't fulfill you. Positions won't fulfill you. Any time we encounter a mistake or sin or challenge in our life experience, we are presented with an opportunity:

1. Either we can look for some new thing to fix us; a new method, a new church, a new teaching, some new effort, some new commitment, some additive to the Gospel.

OR

2. We look to the Rock from which we were hewn. We look to Jesus, His Person & Work, to show us once again our new creation identity and all that we have in Him.

This doesn’t mean it’s not ok to learn new things and tweak things in life sometimes. But, when we allow problems throw us back onto ourselves or to look to something we lack, we miss out on the virtue that flows from the One who has provided everything we need in His Person and Work!

My prayer is that we would be rooted and grounded in HIM alone, so that when challenges come, we don’t start running to find some new additive.

I vow to myself to let it go, let the feelings, go, let the love go.. I vow to myself to open my heart for God’s blessings and love!

I vow to myself to never give anyone anymore power and control over me. I vow to myself to never go back to what broke me, hurt me, to what took advantage of me, to what made me doubt myself, to what manipulated me, to what didn't care enough, to what lied to me, to what never made me a priority and to what left me.

I vow to myself to forgive and forget, to let go, to only remember the best, the laughter and kindness.

I vow to myself to love myself the deepest, to never betray myself, to do my best to never let myself down.

I vow to myself to heal and change. I vow to myself to only learn from my mistakes and never give them power over my mind.

I vow to myself to never give into the past, and to never be defined by my mistakes, flaws, sins and imperfections.

I vow to myself to only define myself by Jesus’s unending love, grace and mercy for me.

I vow to myself to learn how to love myself and others, how to take care of my heart, body and soul.

From Ashes To Beauty (My Life Story)

God can take your brokeness, the ashes of your old self, your old life and turn it into something beautiful. I can literally say that I have been fighting for my life since the day I was born. I was born 4 months earlier than expected, had my voice scarred from a feeding tube, Doctors told my mom I’d go through my whole life as mute, had multiple surgeries. I was supposed to die but Jesus wasn’t having that.

Here I am today 24 years old and I’ve been through so much in this life already. bullying, self harm, depression, took abuse from an ex boyfriend for 4 years, I lost my mother due to multiple health issues a week before my 23rd birthday and after all that it only made me search for God harder but I noticed that I don’t have to keep looking for something that is always there!

No matter how far you wonder, He will never leave. He never changes and His love is powerful and soul changing.

I know I wouldn’t of survived any of the things I’ve been through without Jesus guiding and protecting me. I know He loves me and He loves you too! If He can take the ashes of my brokeness and turn it to something beautiful. He can and will do the same for you.
