Hello all! Welcome to this year's ghostwriter fest! The TSC fandom hasn't celebrated Lucie and Jesse in a while, and we decided we should change that!

Ghostwriter Fest will run October 30 - November 6, and late submissions will be accepted until November 1st for reblogs or on the AO3 collection. We've included some prompts below, loose enough to allow lots of creativity.

My headcanon for Ghostwriter is that Lucie outlives Jesse by a few years (the life expectancy for women was 3 years more than men at the time) but he comes back as a ghost (a normal one this time) and haunts her and their family because death can't do them apart <3 Then, once she dies, they cross the threshold together

I thought Jordelia angst was going to be my biggest problem in Chain of Thorns, I mean, I didn’t think Cassie could possibly give any of the other ships problems that came even close to the par of-

“For so long, as a ghost, you were the only one I could touch. And now I am alive, and you are the only one I cannot.” Jesse looked up at the stars in the clear sky above them. “It hardly seems worth the return.”

“Don’t say that,” Lucie breathed. “There is so much to being alive, and you are wonderful at it, and Malcolm will find a solution. Or we will. We have found solutions to worse problems.”

He almost smiled. “Wonderful at being alive? That is a compliment.” He raised a hand as if to touch her cheek — then drew it back, eyes darkening. “I don’t like to think that what you did in raising me made you more vulnerable to Belial.”
