Given what an incredibly minor part of the movie that it was, why doesbthe Klingon Battle Theme from Star Trek: The Motion Picture go so hard?

Capricorn One (1978). Written by Peter Hyams, the director, it was such a clever idea for a movie. Could never happen in real life though...

Leonard Nimoy guest stars alongside Kathryn Hays (who played Gem in the Star Trek:The Original Series episode "The Empath") in "An Island Like a Peacock," a Season 2 episode of Dr. Kildare (1961-66).

Fun Fact: The Dr. Kildare theme was written by Jerry Goldsmith, who composed the scores of five Star Trek movies as well as the title themes for The Next Generation and Voyager.

Who Has the Best Music of all the Disney Animated Movies?? MULAN!
Tumblr media
We want to first thank everyone who nominated movies and everyone who voted for their favorites for all 32 of our polls!
Now, we were looking at these results and we think it is important to note of the final eight movies, five were from the 1990s, two from the early 2000s and then one from 2015. Of those, the semi finals were all from the 90s!
Other fun information from this tournament, we only saw one of our top four make it to the semis, and neither of them were Mulan or Aladdin. Plus, the number one seed was The Princess and The Frog (2009). Happily that one did make it past the first round!
And as a final note: We are very excited no ones cows were dishonored but this tournament, (we were just waiting for that opportunity to shame some of you).
Congratulations to the third place winner: The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)! There is just something about those religious undertones, like that organ and the chanting.
Congratulations to our second place winner: Aladdin (1992)! With so many different songs to choose from, we know there is one for every occasion.
Once again: Congrats to Mulan (1998), You have Saved All of China, defied gender norms, and returned home to your father with one Amazing Soundtrack!
