He'll proudly hold you in his arms

He happily smiles through them all

He loves physical touch, so you're up against his side about 23 hours out of the day

He's also clingy in his own way too

He just walks right in, no shame

He might not admit it, but he likes having eyes on you every minute of every day

As happy as he acts all the time, he does really worry about you

During the good days, he's very attentive to you

There are some moments where he hides himself from you

He's so afraid that he'll hurt you or something will come and take you away from him

He enjoys having a routine with you

Each morning you get up together and have breakfast

In the afternoon, you both share tea and pastries

And at night, you both put on colorful matching pajamas while you read to him

He just really enjoys affectionate time with you

Your arm wrapped in his, the occasional kiss on the cheek or hand, and being entangled in each other's embrace every night during bed

Whenever he has a nightmare about his sister or finds himself going too mad, he seeks you out

You're able to bring him back better than anyone else

He likes to bring home lavish clothing for you to wear

One of his favorite things is playing dress up and watching you try on all the stuff he's gotten for you

And if there's one outfit he finds especially pleasing, he'll take you in his arms and sway you around to whatever song pops in his head

During his low moments, he'll lay against you and ask you to tell him a story

It doesn't really matter what it is, he just enjoys hearing your voice and feeling your chest vibrate against his ear

- he stares at you a little in disbelief, never would he have thought he'd ever be called pretty. once he realizes completely he smiles like a dork.

- he starts twirling his imaginary long hair and acts all silly "you really think so?" even though he's joking around his face is like a tomato rn.

- "yes I really do think so" you reply to him as you laugh at his sillyness. once he stops joking around he smiles at you before giving you one of his usual tight hugs

- "I would've never thought anyone would call me pretty but oh my god I think I love it" he says, and chuckles.

- from now on you call him pretty like everyday and he melts again everytime when you do tell him

- you held his face when you guys were cuddling one day, as you looked into his eyes and told him "you're so pretty 'rome".

- it's moments like these in where he shows his softer vulnerable side more, he literally started to sob. he wouldn't stop muttering abt how lucky he is and how he doesn't deserve you.

- you of course wiped away his tears as you continue to cuddle the redhead, smiling at his reaction.

Gotham!Jerome Valeska

Job: Police Officer

Oh you little tattletale.

He’s not too surprised by your efforts in trying to keep him from getting caught.

Hell practically half if not most of his followers are or used to be coppers before joining him.

You’re no exception.

Expect to get anonymous calls from him talking and asking about anything other than any more information on Gordon being on his tail or big plans the precinct has been working toward.

For example, one day he called you while on shift to just say, “When are ya gettin’ off cop doody?”.

He has a printed and digital copy of your work schedule.

As we see in Season 4,he has complete control over Arkhams guards and prisoners, even saying that he wants to make a show of his escape, further displaying the extent of his 'showman complex'.

For the sake of the prompt, if he had any minor inconveniences with his little escape he wouldn’t turn down you assisting him in his plans.

Though do keep in mind his showman complex and that unless you want to be discovered as a traitor, you’ll need to discuss with him a plan where you won’t be seen as an accomplice.

He’ll leave little gifts for you on your desk mostly to show his appreciation for all that you’ve done for him.

How he gets them there, you’re not too sure.

If you don't care for his gifts, he'll offer other ways to show his appreciation. (I'm winking under the eyepatch)

Gotham!Jervis Tetch

Job: Doctor

“Twinkle, twinkle, pretty doctor, how I long to unlock her. In this asylum, you shine with smite, but in my heart, you are my light.” (Yes, this is similar to him and Lee’s interaction.)

When he got sent to Arkham, there wasn’t much he was looking forward to.

Except getting back out on Gotham streets and getting revenge on James Gordon.

But when he meets you? Now there’s something to look forward to.

Once he realizes you’re on his side and help him escape the first time, expect to hear from him often.

Quite often in fact.

When he gets sent to Arkham a second time, doctor visits and check ups are a lot more fun now.

It’s like two kids in kindergarten, passing secret notes to one another while the teacher isn’t looking.

Some being about a plan for his escape while others are all laughs and giggles.

He is a gentleman when it comes to showing his gratitude for your assistance.

That is if he likes you of course.

Gotham!Jonathan Crane

Job: Forensic science technician

When you first met, Jonathan didn’t trust you.

In fact he hated you.

Anyone associated with the GCPD and Jim Gordon, he hated.

He blamed you all for the death of his father.

It took a bit of time and patience for him to fully trust you.

Even when you started becoming a full time mole for him, he still kept you at an arms length.

No matter how often you’d update him on the GCPD and their plans, or Jim Gordon’s whereabouts, he’d just give a vague form of acknowledgment or confirmation in your words.

The only reason he started to put his whole trust in you was when you started showing interest in his experiments.

Especially his toxin.

He starts enjoying your company more when you start helping him perfect his toxin.

You both find out it comes in handy that you’re able to get information on your former colleagues' fears without any suspicion.

He’s able to find weak points in practically every police officer in the precinct.

He starts showing his gratitude for your help later on.

Though he does tend to act vague about it.

"Ya sure are a fast little thing, aren't ya?" A low raspy voice spoke beside Y/n as she kept running her usual path, headphones on.

It wasn't unusual that someone tried to chat with her or make her stop running... it was Gotham after all and most people had a reason to try and approach you— mostly bad reasons, though.

"Did ya hear me, doll?" the voice spoke again, now getting bit closer, followed by deep heavy breaths and a gloved hand that snatched her headphones off her head.

"Way better now.. why ya running?" he asked, making her now look in his direction to attempt and take her property back.

Her eyes scanning the man who was trying to run next to her... his ginger hair being messy and his skin a bit pale if she ignored the scars which decorated it. It was clear that he wasn't someone who run every day even though he was keeping his chin up and chest out to act cool.

"Just routine, I guess" Y/n replied not even knowing why. It really was a bad idea doing small talk with strangers in that city... even if she already met that man.

The young woman never talked to him, she just passed by a couple of times and reciprocated his smile politely... never stopping her training.

"Sounds boring, sugarplum" the ginger commented, rubbing his cold nose while continuing to try and keep her pace "Could we go slower... little ol' me ain't the same as he used to be" he commented with a throaty laugh.

His gloved hand grabbing her sweatshirt to make sure she would get slower and not run away from him.

"So.. what's ya name, dolly?" the stranger asked with a smirk on his face, his hazel eyes traveling along her body... admiring silently

"'M Jerome" he added after she didn't replied.

His gaze was quite intense and confusing, since his eyes were big and round.. looking quite innocent and puppy like while the glimpse in his pupils was almost scary.

"Y/n" she murmured, glancing back towards him, not really wanting to keep talking but just continue running on her own.

That man looked like trouble and she really wasn't trying to get into any... expecially not the level of troubles she could get there.

"Ya free tonight? We should go eat something together" Jerome commented smoothly, his smirk becoming bigger when she stopped suddenly; her eyes remained on his body as she thought quickly at a solution to get ride of him.

"8pm at the diner down the street and you let me continue on my own" she quickly proposed, reaching out for her headphones in an attempt to get them back. Receiving just a weird hand kiss from him and a pull that made her body hit his well built body.

"Deal, doll... see ya later then" the man rasped out, placing a bit wet kiss on her cheek before positioning the headphones back on her so that she could run away.

Leaving him on his own there, even if she felt his lunatic stare on her all the way back to her house.

It was a date then.

To his defence: he really does have tons to do. Which means that he'll melt right into his special someone's arms at the end of the day.

He's over the moon to learn that he's having a girl, and he'll do anything to protect his "little princess"

Will spend hours just looking at his baby girl sleep in her crib

Always takes her to the park and out for ice cream

"Is that boy in your class still picking on you? Don't worry princess, I'll take take care of them" *winks*

Almost never yells (except when his criminal professional life is really stressing him out)

Will apologize over and over for losing his cool. Makes it up by making her favorite meal, or taking her out to do something fun like ice skating, mini-golf, paint-balling

Goes all out for holidays. Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, you name it. Jerome didn't have those things growing up, and he'll be damned if he doesn't make his child feel special

Will happily help with projects (especially arts and crafts). His daughter will likely get first place in the science fair for making something blow up

The type of dad that will definitely excited to take pictures of his daughter going to prom (and of course, she'll be going with friends, because Jerome will kill threaten any boy that tries to get close to his baby). He knows how boys are, and he refuses to let his daughter get her heart broken by a dumb teenager

He doesn't care as much about getting an education. After all, why use those brains for college when you can use your intelligence for helping him do crime?

This couldn’t last forever. Nor could it last the remainder of the night. Your father; Jim Gordon, would find out soon enough and put a stop to all to all this nonsense.

Nonsense: the nights you’d both spent lying awake in eachother’s warm embrace, discussing all inevitable components that make up the matrix melancholy of the cogs of life. Shivering slightly under the thin covers, an early winter’s morn and nearing-replacement window panes sending an extra sharp gasp of cooling freeze, compliments of some state north of here. But the delicate gushing of blood through the fingertips that dance with solider-like coherency remind you of being alive.

Nonsense: the candy floss he had bought you the night you met, unknowing of your disliking to the sickly-sweetness of a fairground staple but you ate it regardless, noticing the dust particles falling from his wallet as he handed you the carnival delicacy: wide grin decorating a pearl-filled grin making your heart remind your head that regardless of your economical struggles recently, you truly were rich. An odd sparkle of a concoction of unintelligible senses that overwhelmed your consciousness with a haze-like hypnosis of enamour for the boy yet to receive a name.

Nonsense: having you sat in the front row; against your father’s wishes at his court hearing, eyes flickering mindlessly between you and the judge - amnesty ignoring his court-presented attorney to delicately study the breathing work of art sat behind him. Allowing his own fate to unfold if it meant he got to look at you that little while longer. His sentence to Arkham emitting a gasp from your lips, yet a sense of comfort knowing this somehow meant he wasn’t a mindless killer; he was ill. He wrestled his restraints to give you a finalising kiss to the back of your hand with a sincere tone, voice barely above a whisper as he made you vow to him to forgive him.

Nonsense: the letters stashed in the small shoe box in the bottom of your wardrobe, beneath a well-word pair of disregarded sneakers that acted as gatekeepers for some abhorrent alternation of Romeo and Juliet if Shakespeare was mentally disproportionate. The daily recorded scrawl of proclamations of love and mourning for the distance between the both of you, a somehow best yet illegible cursive getting progressively more dissipated as the page descended - adapting Lamark’s unacceptable theory as the boy evolved from a maladjustment killer to a love sick poet.

Nonsense: crying when you visited him, breaking down into a pool of tears as he appreciated your presence and worshiped your being to an alternative offspring of the Antichrist’s teaching; praying and begging for your mercy - your living self a shrine for his selfless obsession of palpitating sickness of his desire. Your small, naïve smile as you told him you understood, those countless, sleepless nights you lay away shivering in the cold and you ponder your own sanity.

Nonsense: being the first person whom he adheres to when broken out of the Asylum, climbing up a three-story dtysfunctioning drain pipe in the dead of night in the dismal rain of an autumnal Gotham oldhallow’s eve - thunder cracking as you shared a romantic desperation of the age old locking of lips, holding one another on the floor as though terrified the other would painfully disappear if they disimbedded their claws; leaving crescent shaped moon imprint on the skin.

Nonsense: having dates in the darkest hours to avoid disruption; dominating Gotham at three hands of two desperately pining adolescents; insanity of love a proclamation of their secession from the rest of world and society, a religious-like devotion to the other promised by a kiss at every goodbye and a smile at every hello.

Nonsense. The relationship between you and Jerome Valeska was utter nonsense; but the soft whisper-like kisses he leaves on the parting of your hair and down to the nape of your neck makes you alternately shiver as you allow yourself just that few more minutes of sinful indulgence.

Imagine YN and Jerome being in a very close relationship. You are everything to each other. But one day Theo Galavan hunts you two down because of Jerome and kills him. His men throw you off a building and think you're dead. But you survive, get into a hospital and are diagnosed with amnesia. So basically you remember nothing but an emptiness inside of you.

Someday you sit in a small cafe to study. You've built back up a life and got into university etc.

By that time Jerome is already back from the dead and walks straight into the cafe to grab a coffee. He's totally exhausted because he's searching for you for over 4 months now, but can't find you anywhere.

When he walks in and sees you, he's totally shocked. There you are, the love of his life, his everything. He runs to you and takes a seat in front of you.

But you don't remember him and say that you're not the woman he's searching for.

Jerome doesn't know what to do then and asks her to go to the park with him, but when you want to go home, he kidnaps you, because he can't let you go again.

In his hideout he ties you up while you're unconcious and admires you, because he wanted to be with you again for so long. When you wake up, you're scared, obviously. Jerome tries to calm you down and tells you everything about the relationship you two had before he died. You still don't remember but he seems kinda familiar to you now.

You tell him again, that you're not the woman he's searching for. He gets frustrated and desperate, breaks into tears and not knowing what to do, he crashes his lips onto yours.

That made you remember literally everything and you asks him to untie you, so you can throw your arms around his neck and be close to him again.

Maybe I'll turn this into a real one shot (or more) later.

And maybe there will be a part, where they find out that the only reason YN doesn't remember Jerome is, because her parents didn't tell her when she got back from the hospital, because they thought Jerome was bad influence and it would be better, if you didn't remember him.

How the J Squad Would Act While Being Sick

A/N: They'd be such a needy bunch for sure.

Jerome Valeska

The moment Jerome gets sick, it's game over

Gotham gets to breathe a sigh of relief while he's out of commission

However, that means all of the work ends up on you

This boy is already so clingy, but him becoming sick kicks that into overdrive

Will request constant cuddles and kisses

To be honest, Jerome doesn't care if you get sick or not either

In fact, if you get sick too, that's even better since then you'd get to lay in bed with him all day

And it's because of this carelessness that the bedroom turns into an actual contamination risk

He throws his tissues everywhere, has spilled several glasses of tea, and has somehow gotten food crumbs in the bed

But any time you try to come in and clean, Jerome is grabbing onto you and trying to drag you into bed with him

"C'mon, doll. Just for a bit...?"

If you refuse, he literally pouts

But don't think leaving the room will solve anything

He's constantly calling for you, insisting it's urgent

Only for you to run in there and realize all he wanted was a head rub

Jerome insists that getting out of bed is bad for his health and requests that you help him with everything

It's not even because he's lazy

He just wants to be babied and coddled all of the time by you

And unfortunately, your chances of catching his cold are pretty high

But at least then you can get pay back

Jonathan Crane

He's the sweetest boy to take care of

Is hesitant to ask for your help and attention at first

But after a few times insisting it's okay, he lets his clingy side show

Be careful if you decide to cuddle with him

There's no way he's letting you out of his embrace

If you don't give him a kiss each time you check on him, he thinks you've become angry with him

Part of his clinginess is his constant need for reassurance that you're not upset with him for being sick

The last thing he wants is for you to become annoyed

But as long as you tell him everything is fine, he's okay

Will refuse to take his meds though and will need lots of convincing in order to do so

You resort to putting the meds in your mouth and asking for a kiss

He falls for it every time

Will accept tea and soup when offered, but he feels bad asking for it himself

He only really cares about spending time with you and receiving your attention during this time of being sick

Everything else is secondary to him

Jervis Tetch

Jervis's mind always seems to be going a mile a minute

So even being sick, he somehow tries to push through it and keep up with his routine

However, feeling unwell seems to make him seek your affection even more than usual

Will have you sit on his lap while he reads or works

The moment you get up, he's immediately asking where you're going (even if it's just to the bathroom)

Wants you to participate in the same stuff he is too

Did you make him some tea for his throat? Well, pour yourself a cup

Did you warm up some soup on the stove for him? Then you should join him at the table with your own bowl

He doesn't want to do much unless you're doing it with him

If you have any chores to complete, Jervis is right behind you following your every move

He may occasionally exacerbate his headache or other symptoms in order to gain extra sympathy from you

But besides that, he acts pretty normal when he's sick

His energy is definitely much lower

But he's still incredibly attentive and a gentleman towards you
