I am not fully over the Jaylor breakup, but I am losing hope of their reconciliation. But here is what I am going to say.
I am so grateful that that relationship happened. That relationship and the breakup taught me so much about...stuff...
Their relationship though private, taught me so much.
They taught me that love isn't black and white. It isn't just love or hate. It is a beautiful mix of feelings. A golden mix of feelings. Love is a beautiful combination of happiness, comfort, a true friendship, intimacy, trust, honesty, laughter, loyalty, understanding, patience. But keeping aside all the happy feelings, love is also filled with angst and gloominess, sadness, fights, jealousy, tears, hurt and loneliness at times.
They taught me that true love can be messy, complicated and a difficult thing to do. They taught me that a relationship is perfect despite having the flaws like trust issues, commitment issues, hurt and tears.
The real thing that matters is if you stay with them during their happiness and sadness. And he stayed for her through it all.
Their breakup taught me that forever is a lie. This is not in a sad way, but the truth. If not life, then death would definitely come in the way of forever. Not every beautiful thing lasts. However, just because something extremely beautiful came to an end, that doesn't mean it was never good once.
Their breakup changed my perspective towards relationships and life. Their relationship got me through the hardest times ever in my life. I am just glad I could witness some of it as a fan:)
I will never not miss Joe and Taylor together. I am a child of divorce:(

From this point on, Big Brother is no longer a social experiment that is dependent on physical and mental competitions - this is now a competition opened for ANYONE to win with which ever abilities they have! For Taylor, these abilities were personal strength and resilience. Taylor is also THE FIRST BLACK WOMEN TO EVER WIN A REGULAR SEASON OF BIG BROTHER! Not to mention, Taylor also made Big Brother history by being the first ever winner to also win America’s Favorite Player/Houseguest! I’M BEYOND HAPPY TO HAVE WITNESSED THIS MOMENT IN HISTORY! I’m sooooo proud of Taylor! Especially since I’ve been rooting for her since DAY ONE, when I saw her walk into the Big Brother house. Enjoy your $800K and cruise!

Although Monte had his fair share of controversial moments this season, we all can’t forget that Taylor would not have won if it wasn’t for Monte. In a few ways, Monte provided support and help to Taylor when she needed it and kept his promise of taking her to Final Two. I’m also very happy for Monte and very proud that he kept his promise and provided that extra support Taylor needed! Good job Monte! Enjoy your $75K!

Although this cast included a few irreverent and insignificant players (pretty much everyone pre-jury and Kyle), I really enjoyed watching this season! I’m really going to miss seeing these faces on TV every week. I hope each one of them shine and are successful in their own ways. My favorites of the season are, of course, Taylor and Joseph, Michael, Jasmine, Turner, Monte, Brittany, and even Indy. I’m so sad to see them go. This will be a tough act to follow. I’LL NEVER FORGET THIS SEASON OF BIG BROTHER AND ITS CAST! ❤️

I’m 100% rooting for these two! I’m literally obsessed and in complete admiration of them! I’m so happy Joseph was the one who stepped up and looked out for Taylor when no one else did. From the beginning, this really showed the type of person he is and I’m sooooo happy Taylor finally found someone she can be happily vulnerable with! To see them all over each other since the finale makes my heart melt! I’m beyond excited to see what these two have in store for us! I’m definitely going to keep up with these two until the end. If Kyle got together with Alyssa it would’ve been in jury or once BB ends.
We would’ve been happy to see almost any of them winning.
Screw the split house twist/Dyre Fest for denying us all of this. We would’ve had one of the best seasons ever. I wish we lived in the timeline where if it did happen it would’ve been Monte instead of Joseph that got eliminated.
Instead we live in this dark timeline. The one positive thing right now is Taylor is now top 3 but I hate this development with Monte. It would’ve been ok but Monte has said such awful things about Taylor. I wish it was a one time thing or that it is just strategy. I just feel ill and heartbroken. Whether they remained friends or a romance happened post-game, Joseph/Taylor had/have something special. Taylor is going to regret it on a personal level once she finds out the truth.

You know I wasn’t even a jaylor shipper I just admired the love story portrayed by Taylor’s lyrics. No matter what happened to end the relationship, these were two individuals that loved each other immensely and shared their lives and families for 7 years. I genuinely feel sad for them and I just want to ask them if they’re doing okay. Even tho I never really paid attention to joe I was distantly grateful for what he’d done for taylor and so I hope that they’ll both be able to move forward and that fans will stop disrespecting him and just let go
can i confess to you that in this situation i don't even really understand what "shipper" means when the fandom uses that term because we're discussing real human beings, not fictional characters, who, as you said, spent seven years sharing their love and lives and friends and families. they lived together, that's a combined journey! i feel like "shipping" implies rooting for a story or for something that's tenuous, not as applicable to people in a long-term, committed relationship.
it's completely okay for fans to not be individually invested in joe (although i think some of the nastiness and hatred that was aimed at him for years while he was the partner in her life, and such a good, safe part of it, was quite weird! but not being interested generally is fine!), but recognizing the love they had and what it meant is normal. she shared that openly and beautifully with us. i will always be grateful for the fact that he was there when he was, when she was suffering from so many outside factors, that she found something grounded and genuine and it helped her, it was salvational for her exactly when she needed that, and look at the incredible work she created and how she flourished in that time. being with him helped her grow and heal, and she didn't have to do that alone, and i think it's valuable to remember that you shouldn't have to face those moments by yourself to still be strong and brave, to still have your voice. just because they didn't end up in the same place, or wanting the same things, whatever it was that happened, it doesn't erase what they had and all they shared together. nothing makes the love they had untrue, it was still important and bright, and i imagine she's emerged from that knowing even more about herself and about her desired path.
it's hard for me to understand the perspective of...i don't know, almost cheapening or trying to change the meaning of what they had in a dark way like some of fandom is doing? it's such a different situation from any others before it. we can feel empathy and sadness for them that it ended, wish the best for them moving forward, and honor that what they had was real and rare and a lovely connection. maybe it wasn't meant to last forever, and that's okay, it was precious in its time. they'll both have that as part of themselves wherever life takes them, even in other loves, and that's not a bad thing! there's no reason we have to disrespect that, or to go after him (although i don't think swifties should be directly going after the men rightfully deemed "bad boyfriends" either, and don't think that helps her, but i digress). obviously i care about her in my heart as an artist and person first and foremost, but i'll always hold some space for joe too. if taylor has any further things she wants to share through her music, she will eventually, but i feel like they deserve some respect and space, and i just wish them any healing they need and hopes for new happiness in the future.

I don't know the stats but yeah sometimes usually people break up and it's forever but equally as likely people find one another again when their older and wiser and work it out and usually I wouldn't be like this but I see them getting back together older & wiser happening for Jaylor!
It was like 1/3rd people get back together or smth like that. I saw the stats once. She won't be touring forever, right? Like she is going to take a little break from touring atleast. Let's see what happens. And yes, them getting back after some time and some changes completely makes sense to me
