Sometimes you just randomly hyperfixate on a Netflix show that has been canceled two years ago an you can do Nothing against it <3

#it's the society #did i just want to watch it because the plot sounded cool and because i needed something new to watch while drawing? #yes #did i think it was fine that it was already canceled because i probably wouldn't have been that into it anyways? #did i then realize at like episode 3 that it probably had a very cute very soft gay ship in it? #Yes #did i then see that ship become canon and just be the cutest and most amazing ship (after willex) ever?? #YEs #did that ship then have a sad goodbye scene at the end of season one with a confilct that didn't get completely resolved and so not that #there is no second season i am at the point again where i could punch netflix for not giving these amazing shows with wonderful #ships satisfying endings? #YES #i am SO MAD #thanks hermione /ref #but also i'm probably gonna draw a bit of fanart for a show that has not been talked about in Months now #so if anyone knows the society or is still a fan of it #you're welcome? #anyways don't worry i am still drawing lots of jatp fanart♡ #they have to be happy after all and if nEtFLix can't give that to me then i'll just have to do it myself #lea's random thoughts

am having Thoughts about a jatp fencing au. don’t ask me why. Anyways

- The first (and last) time Alex let Luke rope him into doing sabre at a serious comp he met Willie (yay!) because they fucking WHIPPED him across the back hard enough to bruise through all his protective gear (not yay!)

- Alex trains sabre with his friends sometimes though because whacking Luke in the head is almost as helpful as wailing on some drums in terms of anxiety relief

- Willie is a left handed gremlin who nobody wants to compete against bc they’re just… such a nuisance

- Alex’s footwork is great but he has never stretched ever in his life so it’s leg pain for days after training

- Reggie has never experienced fencing-related leg pain but that’s bc he’s a freak of nature (and his footwork is lowkey bad)

- speaking of bad footwork!! Lukas Patterson!!!! By god coaches hate that man’s legs!!!!! He’s so quick but at what cost!!!!!! Considering he’s not massively tall, his lunges should not, logically, reach as far as they do! but they do! because he throws his entire fucking BEING into “gotta hit them gotta hit them gotta hit them” 

- the first time Flynn and Carrie talk to Luke it’s to be like “bro stop lunging like that you’re gonna dislocate your knee”

- when Julie is on her In Love With Luke hours Flynn always tells her to get over him bc his footwork is just so bad that it’s an honest red flag

- but like. Luke is fast. he’s mainly sabre bc that man can RUN

- it’s very funny that Luke does sabre because he likes to complain about priority being Garbage and Horrible but also he relies on it

- Willie and Luke call each other sabro’s as a play on sabreurs

- neither Alex nor Luke know how to hold a pistol grip effectively -- Luke it’s because he doesn’t do anything other than sabre often enough to think he Needs to be good at using a pistol grip, and Alex because his first coach just never taught him right, and now it’s been long enough that he’s too anxious to admit that he doesn’t know how

- Reggie tried to teach them but Luke refused to learn (it’s the principle of the thing)

- alex does epee and occasionally foil but he thinks priority is stupid

- carrie also does epee and a little bit of foil but she cares So much about priority. like. an absolutely inordinate amount for someone who doesn’t even like priority weapons all that much. she is better at reffing sabre than luke and willie are.

- when the girls were having their fight it was Really awkward because same club, same comps, same age group, and same relative skill levels, so they were ALWAYS against each other at competitions

- once when they were competing Flynn hit Carrie on the leg so hard the blade of their epee snapped

- Flynn has the kind of confidence that allows them to say “I got equal third” without giving anything away, Carrie is the type to not tell anyone how she placed because equal third, and Reggie is the type to make jokes about coming third with the punchline being that there were only 4 people in the competition

Frankly, I Feel Insane, But You Say You Feel The Same

Reggie had an aesthetic. And sure, it had somehow led to him having some kind of “bad boy” image, which was quite weird to think about, considering he spent his free time tearing up at cat videos, but he liked his aesthetic. He liked the black and the red and the leather, loved the eyeliner and the piercings, and the shadow of a tattoo that became visible when he shucked his jacket

So when Bobby’s rotating colour scheme became something of a thing for the band… Reggie just didn’t join in as much.

heads up, a lot of people are mentioned multiple times, so to spare them the notifs, i have tagged them once, and then used their names the following times.

also, this is a long post, with a very very brief suicide attempt (failed) mention.

wow. 6 months (1 week and 3 days) ago (but who’s counting lol) i posted I Don’t Feel Sick, Well, Sometimes I Do

days later, I watched Julie and the Phantoms and wrote a fanfic that will never see the light of day.

1 week later, a random headcanon i posted got over a hundred notes.

4 months ago, I posted Off Limits, my first request.

then around Christmas time, I participated in my first fic event- @sonsetcurve’s JATP Holiday 2020 fic event, and it was so crazy and so so much fun.

alright, this is where it gets a bit crazy, people i considered fandom celebs- @n0wornever, @meangirlsx, @issaxcharlie followed me back

i posted enemies to lovers, (part three is coming soon guys, i promise) and each part has upwards of 100 notes
