More of the Trotter Peach stone and the bugs' misadventures (inspired by me picking art for them at random and thinking it was cool to draw them wearing something different).
Stop by to see what I think kept becoming of James Henry Trotter's unconventional found family, from March 11th - 15th 2024.
A southern belle whose heart and soul is found in her cooking! Ladybird grew up in the countryside and is also a trained violinist! Fascinated by the thought of a peach on the hillside, our heroine went to take a look. She saw something glow, and of course, she put it in her mouth! It looked like a French fry, after all!
After the adventure on the giant peach, Ladybird moved in with the rest of the bugs and James, as she made friends with all of them, especially Ladybug! (And Grasshopper, but that may be more than friends heeheheuhee)
She now spends her days at her bakery, either baking or playing a tune for everyone! She plays in the orchestra with Grasshopper! She also spends lots of time cuddling with her partners and whipping up their favorite meals!
(That's just her book lore lol- in another au, she meets Grasshopper at the orchestra)
For Burtonlloween, we have Mr. Centipede. In about 5th grade, I was the centipede in a class play of 𝘑𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩, so the character has some extra nostalgia for me. I helped make my costume’s many-armed shirt with gloves sewed to the ends of the sleeves, and painted a bunch of paper seagulls for a scene. I also still remember snippets of his song about what he likes eating.
