Relearning Gentleness

It’s not something she does often, but Mary-Alice closes her eyes and has to actually focus, because if she can’t find a way for these two to get through and out of the South, somehow she knows that the Major will be stuck down here in Monterrey for longer than he’s supposed to be.

She can not have that. Because she knows that if Peter gets out, so does the Major. And if Peter dies, then the Major will never be free.

And everything Mary-Alice does is for him.

All posts will be reblogged here on the Jalice Network Tumblr and added to the Ao3 collection, but we don’t claim ownership of anything. In case a work is posted only on the Ao3 collection we’ll publish it on Tumblr with all the proper credits. You can remix as many writer’s works as you want but respect all writers by only remixing the ones that signed up! Participating writers and any restrictions will be announced MARCH 6.

HAPPY 2021, FRIGHTENING LITTLE MONSTERS!

As we’re approaching the end of Secret Santa (still two more gifts that are being posted, we’ll make an official ending post for that event once they’re published), we want to thank all that have taken part on the events of our last season. 2020 was a challenging one and we’re still unsure of what 2021 holds for all of us. But we are so glad that you all have joined us into creating amazing Jalice content on Tumblr, Ao3 and Discord this last year! There’s nothing like gathering writers, artists, editors, and musicians into making meaningful and creative content for a fandom. I loved reading every single fanfiction and listening to every single playlist and seeing all moodboards and drawings and graphics and gifs you have created.

Because of that, I just can’t wait for the events in 2021 and to see all that you’ll make. So here’s our calendar for this year!

• FEBRUARY 6-13: Jalice Week 1 • MARCH 13-20: Jalice Remix-Redux • APRIL 3-10: Jalice Week 2 • JUNE 1-30: Jalice Pride • AUGUST 7-14: Jalice Week 3 • OCTOBER 1-31: Jalice Halloween • DECEMBER 24-JANUARY 5: Jalice Secret Santa

We’re welcoming different events this year that were suggested by you all: Remix-Redux, Pride, and Halloween. And as we get to each of them we’ll explain the dynamics.

For now, I want to let you all know that THEME SUGGESTION FOR JALICE WEEK 1 IS OPEN and you can submit your suggestions for themes by clicking here. They’ll be open until January 10th when we begin voting for themes.

Thank you all for a lovely 2020 and we hope to see you a lot in 2021!
