Summary: it’s been a year since Leyanna Velaryon “passed”, but she returns showing up to Rhaenyra and Laenor’s wedding feast

Note: I will be changing things for the plot of this story, there’s no insect

Leyanna Velaryon is the first born daughter to Corlys and Rhaenys Velaryon, and heir to her father’s thorn. Getting ready for the feast in her hidden castle just off the coast of driftmark, she finally leaves to kings landing.

Once she arrives she walks through the castle unnoticed. Leyanna finally making it to the room where the feast was being held pushed the doors open walking in. As Lady Leyanna walked people whispered and gossiped. Her family being in awe with a thousand questions running through their heads.

Her sister Laena was the first to get up and embracing her while the rest of thier family followed. Looking at Rhaenrya while smiling the girls sharing a look of happiness but also wonder. As the night went on the Velaryon siblings and Rhaenrya chatted before see their parents and the parents of Jaemarr and Jaeda Galelaeris arguing.

Leyanna getting annoyed knowing what they’re arguing about walks over to them.

“Why are you arguing about who I am betrothed to when I am allowed to choose who I want to marry”

The adults turned to the princess before looking at each other.

“You were betrothed to Jaemarr when you were a child princess” said Lord Vaemond

“And now the Queen wants you to marry Aemond”

“What?” Leyanna questioned

Just a few feet away Jaemarr and Aemond on opposites of the room of each other hearing the argument of who the princess should be betrothed to, make their way to the families.

Jeamarr coming up behind Leyanna running his fingers down her right arm causing her to jump. Moving away from him she moves closer to her father.

“I am not going to stand here and be forced to marry someone I don’t want too.”

With that the princess walked back to her siblings and best friend. As she sat down talking Jeamarr walks up.

“Outside now”

Leyanna not responding to him, he pulls her put of her seat dragging her out of the dinning hall. Once out side he slams her against the wall.

“You will marry me or so by the gods you will be dead this time”

He whispered in her ear with every word his grip on her throat tightened. Until his sister came and took the now frightened Leyanna back into the dinner hall and immediately went to their parents to tell them what happened and to call off Leyanna and her brothers engagement.

After the night ended the Velaryons stayed a kings landing for the night. That night Leyanna told her parents what happened the year before.

“Alicent was forced by Otto to kill me because I apparently “knew to much” I was stabbed and had my left arm cut.”

After telling her parents the full story she headed to her sleeping chambers, while walking there she was snatched by Otto himself into a dimly lit room with her now ex fiancé. With in 20 minutes she had been beaten and cut.

She was then found by Aemond seeing what happened to the princess he picked her up taking her to her sleeping chambers he found the maesters of house Velaryon. Once he was sure she was safe with them, he went to find Otto and Jaemarr, once found he tortured them giving them a slow and pain full death.

Black Twitter reacts after tickets for Jazmine Sullivan's "Heaux Tales Tour" sell out within minutes

Resellers are now selling the tickets for higher prices.

Tickets for Jazmine Sullivan’s highly anticipated “Heaux Tales Tour” went on sale on Friday (Dec. 3) and fans are upset that many locations sold out within minutes.

As REVOLT previously reported, the “Pick Up Your Feelings” singer announced the 25-city tour on Nov. 30 through her social media accounts. “Ask and you shall receive. ‘The Heaux Tales Tour’ is finally here,” she captioned an Instagram post. “I can’t wait to see all of you there.” The voyage will kick off next year in Vancouver, British Columbia on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) and continue through Canada and multiple U.S. cities, including Portland, San Francisco, Phoenix, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Detroit and more, before finally ending in Chicago on March 30.

While this tour will serve as a way for Sullivan to move back into the public eye after a six-year hiatus, many fans are disappointed that they won’t be able to get the chance to see her live. Several people took to social media to share their frustrations with the tickets being sold out and resold for higher prices.

jae watches the other, not sure what his plan was exactly against the stormtroopers. they didn’t particularly like the bucketheads wandering the outpost ( their home ! ) like they owned the place, but nothing too bad had happened yet ( ‘ inspecting ’ hondo ohnaka’s totally - not - obvious smuggling front was far from surprising ) and jaeda had always minded their own business anywhere oga had claim to, anyways.

“ yeah, they got here a few days ago ... why ? ” they ask, voice as hushed as his, but eying him skeptically. there had been talk about the resistance setting up camp just outside black spire, sure, but... jae was anything but well - versed in galactic politics.

A feeling of excitement and euphoria ran through the place, the glitters of the idols' expensive clothes decorated the city of Nagoya, and the screams of the fans, excited to see their favorite artists perform. But Moon Daesoul didn't feel that but a great pressure and anxiety that made her hand tighten more and more against Hwasa's. She didn't want to attend the awards, but because she hadn't told anyone what happened that night she had no choice but to smile and nod like she was a sweet and silly girl.

She rolled her eyes, erasing her tight, fake smile as they escaped the flashes of the paparazzi on the carpet. Hwasa's hand was still trapped in her grip as they walked into the stadium ━rather laughing at the wig that Solar would have to wear for the performance━, she remained quiet until they reached their seats for the night watching the toes of her heels appear and disappear as they walked, not wanting to make eye contact with anyone.

She listened as Wheein thanked the staff girl who guided them as she sat down. She did a quick visual inspection and sighed in relief, at least Exo hadn't come. Her eyes met Storm's, who moved her eyebrows in her direction in a playful way at her making her eyes roll.

"Well, place your bets" Byul spoke attracting the attention of the four, who looked at her curiously although the curiosity faded as their eyes fell on Dae "Will something happen between JB and Vee or will they just look at each other like every damn event?" The tired and annoyed tone that she used to pronounce the last sentence made Wheein laugh, her laugh was accompanied by an exaggerated gesture that expressed the annoyance of the members every time the former couple starred for a moment from afar.

Immediately her body stiffened. They didn't know about Baekhyun, they didn't know that she was almost in a relationship with the Exo singer, but most of all, they didn't know about that night. Guilt returned to fill her body when the words and thoughts made a knot in her stomach and went up her throat wanting to come out of her in the form of vomit. She swallowed hard, diverting her gaze from her sisters, who were looking at her waiting for an answer.

“Maybe something will happen, but with someone else.” The leader's words reached her ears making her frown, but she still didn't look.

Hwasa gave her a light blow on the arm "Explain".

"I heard that a member of that new group, Ateez I think their name is, he is a very fan of our Venus" She raised her eyebrows and the girls laughed sounding like schoolgirls when they saw the boy they liked although to Dae they sounded more like old ladies bored with their husbands and gossiping about the misfortunes of others.

"Most of the members of that group were born in 99, I don't think Vee likes them so young." The other rapper denied skeptically, she was a fan of Jaedae.

Before any of them could answer the lights went out and the screaming increased. Venus smiled, she wouldn't have to hear them anymore until they had to go backstage or win an award.

Which happened eventually. She sighed before giving a staff boy a smile as he helped her down the stairs from the stage that led backstage. She looked at her groupmates before approaching Solar, touched her shoulder to get her attention.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom, see you in the dressing room" The leader nodded, checking her with a worried look.

"Are you okay?" Venus nodded and gave her a small smile before handing the headphones and microphone to the staff, she headed to the bathroom giving some smile and bows to the idols she was meeting on her way to her destiny.

Shit.

She froze when she saw Got7 coming in her way, she looked down at her shoes to avoid making eye contact with any of them. She smiled in relief as she managed to enter the bathroom, her smile growing even wider when she saw that it was empty. She went to a cubicle but before she could open it a hand of her pulled her, alarmed she turned around.

Double shit.

She almost fainted when she saw the boy in front of her, she opened her eyes and pushed him away from her body. Her eyes moved to the door before looking back at him "Are you an idiot?! What are you doing here? If anyone sees us━“.

"We have to talk, it will only be a second" He interrupted her. The girl began to move her leg up and down, nervous about the situation.

"I don't want to talk, Jaebum" She took his arm in her hands to start pushing him towards the door.

"We have to talk about what happened, Vee." He put his feet on the ground making it impossible for her to move him. She snorted moving behind him to push him by the back but still he didn't move, he was so much stronger than her.

"God, someday you're going to kill me" She clenched her jaw and frustrated she moved away from him, she had no choice but to listen to him. She would let him speak, he would leave, and she would empty her bladder.

"I-I have sent you messages and I have even called you" He turned around to see her better, she looked at him with no expression other than annoyance.

"I know".

"You have not answered".

"I know".

JB dropped his head in defeat, this girl really got on his nerves when she got stubborn.

"Is that all you had to say? Well goodbye!" She tried again to push him but, again, she failed.

The long-haired boy placed his hands over hers that were positioned on his chest, the rapper swallowed hard when he looked at her.

"I can't stop thinking about that night" That's it, he said it. An awkward silence entered the bathroom, both former lovers looked into each other's eyes without being able to move their gaze from each other. Without knowing how or when, Moon's back met the wall of one of the cubicles while her tongue fought against the Im, her legs were wrapped around his waist and his hands traveled all over her body in fast and clumsy movements, excited to get around every curve again.

He moaned into her mouth when her hands met his hair and she smiled, forgetting that they were in a public bathroom in a building with millions of cameras and eyes that would benefit quite a bit from the scene. They were so focused on each other that they didn't even realize that two more presences had entered the room.

"How many times do I have to tell you? It was just sex, for God's sake!" A raspy but feminine voice made both of them stop the kiss, still tangled they looked at each other in panic. Venus was grateful that they closed the cubicle door.

"But I love you, Arabella!" The girl widened her eyes when she heard the name of her friend while Jaebum raised an eyebrow, curious.

"Fucking hell, I don't want to have anything with you" The BTS member made a face of disgust when the other girl got too close to her, took a couple of steps back raising a hand to not hit the wall and be cornered but in instead she pushed the door of the same cubicle in which both lovers were hiding, let's say they had not closed the door very well since it was opened revealing the other two idols in a very compromising situation. Arabella frowned when she saw how Rosé's face twitched in shock "What now?."

"Bells" Hearing the new voice, the italian made a little jump in her place before turning and seeing her two friends.

She pressed her full lips together causing them to disappear into a fine line "Shit".

Before anyone could say or do anything a flash and the "click" of a camera echoed throughout the bathroom, panic quickly filled the former couple's body as Lee turned around again to look at Blackpink's singer smirking at her as she moved her phone in her hands.

"Rosé, give me the phone."

"Come back with me and I will not publish the photo" The little girl pointed to the two older people in the room, who had already separated and left the cubicle "You don't want your friends' lives to go to hell do you?"

"This happens to me for having sex with virgins" She murmured to herself before giving the girl a wry smile "Am i that good in bed? because jesus, I don't think you want to date someone like me. "

"One click and it will be all over Naver" She unlocked her phone causing Venus to raise her hands to stop her.

"No, please" She begged, kneeling before her, her tears threatening to fall from her eyes. Jaebum walked over to her to pick her up.

The other rapper tensed her jaw seeing how her friend began to cry in the man's arms, she sighed in defeat.

"Okay, okay, I'll do what you want but delete the fucking photo" The singer smiled widely, this time the smile was a happy one before approaching the tallest one and planting a kiss on her lips.

"I'll erase it when you take me on a date, babe." She giggled sweetly when Arabella tried to grab her arm but she was faster than her and managed to avoid her before leaving the bathroom.

"Fottuta puttana" She cursed in a murmur with her gaze still on the bathroom door.

On the other hand, the couple was still holding each other, Venus cried on JB's chest while he stroked her hair and murmured in her ear trying to calm her down.

The girl looked at them with pity, went over to the sink and washed her lips trying to remove any trace of that manipulative bitch. She made eye contact with the boy through the mirror, gave a quick look at the girl in his arms and sighed wiping hdf hands "Go, I'll call Hwasa and tell her that she feels bad, my manager will take her to my house and keep her company. When this shit is over go there, we will talk about this."

After thinking about it for a few seconds, the black-haired man nodded before making the girl in her arms look at him, he placed his hands on her cheeks and wiped the tears that slid down her cheeks with his thumbs. He gave her a sad smile "I'm so sorry, Vee."

He kissed her forehead before releasing her and leaving the room.

Season 8 episode 9 Pre Wedding Jitters

That scene in 👏Nathan's 👏office👏 The lines they wrote for Kevin *chef's kiss* perfection. I mean, I still dont like this whole secret reveal thing. I think it's so dumb. Like, ain't no way the writers intended Nathan to have this secret when he first came to the show. I don't think he was suppose to have any secret at all. I mean, this whole, 'There's something he's not telling me' thing came out of nowhere. That aside, the love confession was great, again, and he left Elizabeth speechless again and she ran away, AGAIN. That tells me all I need to know. She cannot deny this man BECAUSE SHE LOVES HIM. And if y'all think otherwise than you're delusional.

The game at the bachelorette party. It was obvious from the promo for this episode how this would play out. She reaches for Nathan's hands and thinks he's the one. (I was predicting that she would know it was Nathan and then feel uncomfortable and move on, but that didnt happen. She thought he was Lucas *bleh. Though I was still right in thinking Nathan would be 'the one' during this little game). We like that. I really liked how the party scene lasted longer than I expected. It wasnt even too long of a scene, but it was definitely long for When Calls the Heart. This show really needs to work on it's pacing. Everything happens so fast bc they have to cut to the millions of side plots that happen in every episode. My gosh, would they give us some focus please.

When Lucas came by Elizabeth's house in the morning I enjoyed that they interacted more casually with each other it seemed, at least it did on Elizabeth's part. Just through small details like the way she was casually leaning in the doorframe or her tone of voice. She wasnt so awkwardly polite...but Lucas still was. Lucas is so polite it's uncomfortable. Like I don't feel like anybody could just be themselves around him, bc it's like every meeting has this awkward air of being polite to an acquaintance you dont know well. Ugh it's so weird. I didnt like that Elizabeth told him Nathan's reveal. I feel she should have kept that to herself. Ugh and then Lucas wanted to act all protective and 'talk' to Nathan. Oh please. That is not his place. Elizabeth is obviously the one who needs to talk with Nathan and it's no one else's business what goes in between them, besides Allie of course. And speaking of Allie, I thought her scenes were really good and thoughtful. I still think it was weird that Lucas got her a gift for her adoption ceremony, but whatever we are past that now. I like that her character is being more mature about everything too. I really hope we get a scene where Allie and Elizabeth have their own conversation though. They need it. I'm not sure how I feel about that obvious Paul (Florence's son) having a crush on Allie. It seems that the writers will want them to like each other. I guess it could be cute? It's just a little awkward bc we havent seen this Paul kid around before so it creates a weird air that the only reason he shows up now is to be a school crush for Allie. Eh. Jaeda was great though and I think she did her scenes well.

After Lucas and E talked, I think it's obvious to Lucas that Elizabeth has strong feelings for Nathan and that she's just running away from them. I mean, she told Lucas that when Nathan told her he loves her all she could do was say nothing and just leave. *holds out arms and stares with a 'well, there you have it' expression'* IT DOESNT GET ANY CLEARER THAN THAT. I wonder if the writers will make Lucas step down bc he cant be with someone who will never love him. Idk how Lucas will react honestly, Lucas's character is such a mystery to me I could never know what he would do in a situation that didnt involve setting up a perfectly romantic date or sweet talking someone with an annoyingly, unrealistic, perfectly understanding polite response.

Elizabeth was also super rude to the people she cares about in this episode. The way she talked to Rosemary. First, she didnt like hearing what Rosemary had to say, which implies that she may have been blaming Nathan for Jack's death. That is such a horrible thing to hold against someone. I mean I could understand why she would feel that way but just for a moment. I mean she should understand how completely wrong and irrational that thought process is and that she shouldnt blame Nathan. TWO, then she had the nerve to tell Rosemary something like 'why would you think that comment would help me right now'. Wow Elizabeth. Gee, maybe she's saying the truth and she's also your friend and just trying to talk things through and give her opinion as a way to help you through your difficult situation. God forbid she doesnt say the perfect thing that you needed to hear at that time, she can't read your mind. I thought that was incredibly rude. It hurt to see Rosemary hurt. And then later she told her that she should leave her house. *SCOFF* man, she was really hitting Rosemary hard this episode. If I were in Rosemary's shoes, yes I would be hurt, but I think I would mostly be understanding of what Elizabeth might be going through and not take anything personally. E's lucky that Rose is such a good friend. OH! What Rosemary told Nathan in the library! She totally implied with her little metaphor comparison that Nathan was making Elizabeth unhappy by getting in the way of true love, i.e. Lucas and Elizabeth. I-- wow! Everyone is against this man. I'm so glad that Nathan stands firm. I mean he knows that Elizabeth feels strongly for him based off her reactions to his honesty with her and how she never denies anything and just runs away. I mean, it's plain as day. Let's not forget the *speechless gaze into each other's eyes* 'I can't' from Honestly, Elizabeth.

I think that's it regarding the love triangle. I absolutely despise the Faith and Carson relationship. And I cant believe they made him say, come with me to Baltimore and we can see in a year if we want to get married. That is so dumb. He just asked Faith to drop everything and leave her life in Hope Valley for a 'I might break up with you in a year' situation. Dumb. This is definitely out of character for Carson. It's obvious the writers are just trying to get rid of him and make him not be missed by the audience. They clearly want us to favor Faith, but she couldnt be more annoying honestly. I wish she were leaving and Carson would stay in Hope Valley. But whatever.

I dont like how every side plot seems to be about some couple's budding relationship. I mean aside from the love triangle, we have Florence and Ned, Molly and Bill, Clara and Jesse (though not a budding relationship, it's still all about their relationship) and now Rachel and Christopher and oh yes also Fiona and whoever that guy is and wow I'm still missing Faith and Carson. Thats 6 other romantic relationships in the show (not including the also important one of Rosemary and Lee) and I'm probably leaving one out. Oh yes, now possibly Allie and Paul. 7. Seven relationship side plots!!! Omg I'm going crazy!! They need to learn how to write some actual plot! What happened to town problems and family drama! Thank goodness we have Henry Gowen and his son (cant believe I just complimented that out of nowhere concept but hey) and the oil thing with Lucas and Henry, barely ever a plot line. This show needs better writing. There's no glue holding the town together and even when there is, it's so small or happens so fast that it doesnt have any long lasting and meaningful affect.

If I weren't so invested in Elizabeth's plotline and in need of some wholesome tv, I would have stopped watching a long time ago. Oh and the last thing. The mention of Abigail. I'm so glad Henry mentioned her because she was very important to him and his character growth. His character arc is one of the saving graces of the show and it needs to be given more attention.

Okay in short, Elizabeth was hecka rude, Nathan is wonderful and so was that office scene. We also stan Allie. Next week's episode also looks like a dud and I dont think much will happen.

Hmmm, So I am a Ravenclaw (even though I am a dumbass but then again, they’re about creativity, learning, etc) @gwendolynejones-stacy would be a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Gryffindor bc they’re not afraid to call me out at any time. Ravenclaw bc I remember her saying that they love learning things and she’s witty @rutimaticasi is 100% Hufflepuff. They’re loyal and kind. I love how he’s always there for the Dumb Dumbs and they just straight up emit the vibes @shadedrose01 I’m on the fence about either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. She’s super creative and amazes me all the time which has me think of Ravenclaw. She’s also witty like Em. Hufflepuff bc she also emits the vibe. She’s pretty chill and loyal and all around great. @wayward-fairchild I would put in Ravenclaw too. She’s always, always writing and posting tons of works which amazes me every time. I don’t know how she does it but all I know is that I see her in Ravenclaw @peachy-keener is either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. They’re hard working and kind but also courageous and brave. I feel the same about that last scene. I mean yeah, as a Team Nathan fan that scene disappointed me just cuz they didn’t get to go in the date, but it was also just not good in a general sense like you touched on. Elizabeth would never do that. And I mean there are some instances where accruing out of character could be rationalized and it makes sense, but this wasn’t one of those cases. Also Allie and Nathan looking so sad and disappointed made me feel bad for them. Kevin and jaeda did that part well at least, even if Turing down the date was not good writing in the first place.

I’m fine with not getting a(nother) generic “romantic date.” I think the best outing for the four of them would be at a town event or festival, or a picnic by the lake where the kids can play while the adults talk. In my mind, that’s way sweeter (and more private) than dinner in town.

That said, it’s 100% the way Elizabeth was treated in that scene that is the problem, not the fact that the date didn’t happen.

Bill literally said in the recap at the start of the episode, “ELIZABETH’S TOUGHER THAN SHE LOOKS.”

Like, they hand-picked that scene for the “Last time on When Calls the Heart” segment!!!

My mind is just honestly blown by that choice. I get wanting drama but whoever wrote that scene wasn’t in their right mind when they wrote it down, and whoever approved it wasn’t right when they did that either. Elizabeth wouldn’t bail on anyone unless she really felt she didn’t have a choice. If Helen had said something cutting enough to make her cry, then I could see her at least looking upset enough that Nathan might want to call it off himself, but we didn’t get that. She seems fine.

I can’t tell if Erin’s acting is super poor there, or she was given no direction on what to do, or if there wasn’t even a plan. What is she feeling? Shook that her editor is physically present? SO WHAT. She’s not a recluse! Elizabeth is a social butterfly! She likes being around people; she enjoys meeting new people; she’s good in most social situations. If anything, she’s at least as cultured as Helen is.

But she spends the whole scene just complete agog at the fact that Helen is there. I’m just wildly thinking of other options that might have made the scene work, but the only really fitting thing would be this:

Right after Helen mentioned her writing, Elizabeth could have said, “My writing...? The book—! Is—is something wrong with it?” And in reply Helen could say, perhaps almost condescendingly, “Oh, we’ll talk about that later.” Elizabeth steps back, blinking a little in shock, and Lucas just ignores this and walks away with his mother, leaving Elizabeth completely reeling.

I’d probably buy into that, especially if Nathan said the same, “Are you coming?” and Elizabeth replied with this soft voice, like she’s talking to herself, “What could be wrong with the book? Did I send the wrong chapter?”

They could have definitely played it up more if they weren’t so busy dragging out other character storylines. I don’t want to sound too critical of the episode because overall I do think it was very enjoyable, but for your MAIN CHARACTER I think it would be worth sacrificing some dull stuff from Bill, Jesse and Clara, or Faith and Carson.

I guess some writers just don’t want to admit that what they intended was not actually conveyed in what they wrote, which is more embarrassing than failing to convey it to begin with. :)

Oak Glen girls capture fourth straight OVAC title | News, Sports, Jobs

The Oak Glen girls soccer team celebrates winning the OVAC Class 4A tournament championship over St. Clairsville on Saturday. -Contributed

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — It’s tough to win one championship. It’s even tougher trying to defend that title. When a team has won three straight crowns, it has a bullseye on its back while seeking a fourth.

However, that was no problem for Oak Glen (8-2).

Saturday afternoon at sun-splashed Red Devil Stadium, the No. 2 seeds made it back-to-back-to-back-to-back OVAC Class 4A soccer tournament titles when they upset top-seeded St. Clairsville, 5-1. It marked the third time in the four years — and second straight — that the Red Devils (8-2-1) found themselves on the short end in the title tilt. Oak Glen defeated Beaver Local two years ago on penalty kicks.

Head coach Ryan Wells stopped short of referring to his program as a dynasty.

“That’s not for us to say,” he said while sporting a slight smile from behind his COVID-19 mask. “We always talk about consistency and being relevant every year in the OVACs and the West Virginia state tournament. I think because of the senior leadership we’ve had since my first year here, we’ve been able to do that. You don’t want to fluctuate up and down. You want to be consistent every year. You want to be the dominant team with the target on your back every year. I tell the girls that is a great spot to be in and they’ve shouldered it really well when you gave everyone gunning for you.”

Back-to-back-to-back-to-back sounds pretty good, though.

“You like to win them all, and this senior class has won four in a row. So, from their freshmen year on, they’ve done what it takes,” Wells said.. “We’ve talked about that. They see this as another stepping stone to the state (W.Va. Class AA tournament). We prepare a certain way for OVACs, and then we kind of flip a switch and get ready for regional and the state.

“These girls are a different kind of team. They are not stat-driven at all. The one stat that we do talk about is the scoreboard. We just keep on plugging away … doing the little things. It’s all the small things that led to this win. It was nothing big.”

It didn’t take long for the focused Golden Bears to strike.

Senior standout Reese Enochs found the net in the first minute (29 seconds in). The goal would be the first of her hat trick.

Chasing the ball as it rolled into the St. Clairsville box, Enochs collected the it after it was misplayed and banged it into an empty net from down deep in the right wing.

“You can’t put yourself in a hole like that against a team like Oak Glen,” St. Clairsville head coach Wes Stoner said. “They are well-coached and have skill and speed everywhere. I guess we just weren’t ready to play in the first 30 seconds. Nothing against that goal, but we should have never let that one in. The other four were legitimate.”

Enochs made it 2-0 in the fifth minute when she lofted the ball towards the net from just outside the top of the box. It sailed just under the crossbar and over the outstretched fingers of leaping St. Clairsville goalkeeper Jaeda Nowak.

Brooklyn Watts, who recorded a trio of assists, sent a shot from deep on the right wing that Nowak batted away. The rebound hit the post to Nowak’s left and caromed to the right foot of Enochs, who did the rest for her 134th career net-finder.

“She’s a stud. She’s just a stud,” Wells said. “Reese has even started to focus on other aspects of the game. The offensive part of her game comes naturally, she is a scorer and she’s going to be a scorer in college. She’s the type of player that is going to be able to contribute at the collegiate level right away.

“She’s a quiet leader, but the way she finishes on a consistent basis is amazing. But, her defense has gotten better and her passing has gotten a lot better. She’s just a tremendous all-around player.”

Watts sent a beautiful cross to Brooklyn Loveland late in the 19th minute, and Loveland sent it past a diving Nowak with her right foot for a 4-0 reading.

St. Clairsville avoided being shutout when freshman Delaney Florence knocked home a rebound after Oak Glen goalkeeper Alexus Greenlief denied Emily Thompson’s shot.

Greenlief finished with five saves, while Nowak was called upon to make 11.

Despite the loss, the season is far from over for the the Red Devils.

“There’s something to be said about even making it to this game,” Stoner said. “Nothing against anyone else, and losing stinks, but just being in this championship game means a lot, and we’ve got a lot of soccer left to play.”

Already playing with senior standout Macy Malin, who is out for the season after knee surgery, the Red Devils got a little more banged up Saturday, as Megan Malin was an early exit. Alyssa Bodkin and Nowak also were shaken up but later returned.

“We’ve got too many girls banged up right now. We have several ankles and one with a rib injury,” Stoner said. “We already had a couple of girls nursing bangs and bruises, but not we got a few more.”

St. Clairsville will host Weir High Monday at 6 p.m. A special ceremony is planned, according to Stoner.

GAME NOTE

• A moment of silence was held prior to each of the three games Saturday at Red Devil Stadium for Weir sophomore Madison Crowe, who was tragically killed on Thursday with her mother.

“We have some younger girls that played travel ball with Madison,” Wells said. “We played with some heavy hearts Thursday night, even some tears. We had some girls show up really upset. We know the Weirton community is strong … Hancock County strong with one another. We’ll get through it.”

I thought I had more time to settle my other social media accounts and get myself established, but with us learning now that our "two week notice" is completely out the window and people's posts and blogs are already becoming inaccessible less than 24 hours later, that clearly isn't an option anymore.

Chapter 6

This is gonna be the last chapter for a while since I am putting this particular story on hiatus until December which is when I will rewrite it. I’m just not happy with the way its turning out and I need to figure an actual plot. Plus the writing quality is just not up to the standards I want to give you guys. So! Without further ado, please enjoy chapter 6

Jeonghan continued to smile while waiting for your answer. You didn’t trust him.

“I’m here with your boss’s guest.” you replied as ambiguously as possible.

The corner of Jeonghan’s mouth twitched in annoyance. He knew you were trying to dodge his question.

“So you’re here with Jun.” he reasoned. You tried not to let your face express how surprised you were that he knew Jun’s name. He smirked.

“I’ve only been able to hear a bit about his situation, but it sounds serious. Anything to make Jun abandon his precious city hideout must be pretty bad.” he dragged slightly trying to get you to divulge any info you might know.

Unfortunately for both of you, you knew nothing.

“I don’t know. All I know is that we’re being chased.” you told him both truthfully and diplomtically.

While this answer seemed to make Jeonghan relax his interrogation, it did nothing to satisfy his curiosity.

Well aren’t you boring.” he huffed sitting down next to you on the sofa.

You didn’t grace him with a response.

“How long have you been Jun’s lackey?” Jeonghan asked conversationally.

“I’ve been working with him for over a year.”

“Working for him, you mean. No one works with Jun. You either hire him or he hires you. And he most definitely hired you.”

You shot him a glare, he only smiled coyly at you.

“So what makes you so special to have been invited into the lions’ den? Jun’s a drop them after a couple of months kinda guy. Not a let’s save her from certain death and risk my own hide kind of guy.” Jeonghan nonchalantly explained, “He’s had plenty of runners before but never kept them around for very long.”

“I don’t know.” you admitted. The thought of being thrown away by Jun at this point made you nervous. You hoped for your sake that he wouldn’t ‘drop’ you like the supposed others.

“I wish he had kept that girl, Jaeda around. She was definitely more the mafia type than you. A real spitfire. Great body too. Wonder why he got rid of her.”

You could tell he was trying to goad a response out of you and you refused to rise to the bait. Why should you even care if Jun worked with more experienced… hotter girls before. You told yourself this but could still feel a nagging inside questioning if she was really better than you. You hated it. Your thoughts were interrupted by the open and close of a fridge door sounding in the room over. You and Jeonghan both looked in the direction of what you guessed to be the kitchen. Shortly after a a guy who you would’ve guessed to be around your age came shuffling through the doorway in pajamas, bowl of cereal in hand.

“Oh.” he said in halfhearted surprise, “No one told me, we would have company today.”

“This is Jun’s lackey, who has so far remained unnamed.”

“Vernon.” the pajama clad boy introduced himself with a full mouth and closed lipped smile. You liked him you decided.

“I’m Y/N.” you provided.

Vernon nodded and leaned against the wall enjoying his cereal while standing up.

“Oh, so you tell the little punk but not me? What is my life coming to?” Jeonghan asked rhetorically, putting on his own minidrama.

You rolled your eyes.

“So how’s the meeting going?” Vernon asked gesturing to the room Jun had gone into earlier with his chin. As if on cue, a loud slam came from behind the metal door, making you jump in your seat.

“Not well it would seem.” Jeonghan replied airily.

You watched the door anxiously, hoping your employer was okay. Only because if he wasn’t safe, then you weren’t safe. That’s why. You weren’t worried about the weasel at all, of course not, you convinced yourself. You let your fingers lace, trying yourself busy. Vernon eyed you from where he was standing.

“S.Coups probably just tripped and slammed his face on the desk again. He’s not the most coordinated.” Vernon attempted to assure you. At least he was trying to calm you.

“Or he slammed Jun’s head into the desk.” Jeonghan taunted over your shoulder. Vernon gave him a less than amused look. “You can’t say he wouldn’t deserve it.” Jeonghan defended himself.

Both you and Vernon shrugged half way agreeing. You heard the metal door unlocking and turned your head. The first to walk out was Jun, who luckily did not have his head smashed in or any other bruises. You felt Jeonghan’s arm lay across the back of the couch behind you.

“Vernon, long time no see! How you doing?” Jun greeted the boy standing next to you.

“Good, my man. Better than you it seems.” Vernon replied the two meeting with a handshake and half hug.

“No worries. No one’s better than me.” he replied to Vernon’s comment while winking suggestively at you.

‘Once a grease weasel always a grease weasel’

“Hello Jeonghan. I see you’ve made yourself at home around my lovely employee.” He eyed Jeonghan’s arm accusingly. “I thought I told you to not talk to him.” Jun complained to you.

“So that’s why she didn’t fall for my charms! You can’t tell people to ignore me you ass. I thought your girl was crazy! She wouldn’t even give me the time of day if i begged. No wonder she liked Vernon better. Phew. At least now I know why it felt like the twilight zone.”

“Hey! People like me.” Vernon sulked.

“Sure they do pajama boy.” Jeonghan shot back.

While focusing on the conversation around you, you had failed to notice Jun coming closer until he dropped himself practically on top of Jeonghan.

“Hey! Watch it!”

“Oops.” Jun said lazily “Were you sitting here?” every word was emphasized with a scoot from Jun who was trying to push Jeonghan across the couch and away from you.

Jeonghan just gave him a glare as you and Vernon chuckled. Where Jeonghan’s arm had rested earlier was now occupied by Jun’s own appendage. He was sitting a lot closer to you than Jeonghan had been but you didn’t mind much. His warm presence was familiar. You shook your head at yourself. Since when do you enjoy being around the weasel? It must be some sort of stockholm type syndrome. Wait but that would mean you actually like him. Which you don’t. Right?

‘Right.’

You’ve just spent too much time around him today. You needed a break from seeing his flirty face. It was going to start having an affect on you if you didn’t get away from him soon.

“Y/N,” Jun grabbed your attention, “I’d like you to meet a good friend of mine and also ally and our temporary host: S. Coups.” he gestured grandly to the now occupied doorway.

There stood an athletic looking man in black slacks and a button down. Despite the sharp looking clothes, he only looked a bit sheepish rubbing at a rather large red spot on his forehead.

“Told you so.” Vernon whispered in your direction.

“Hi.” his greeting certainly fell flat compared to Jun’s set up. Jun heaved a sigh bringing his hand to cover his face in second hand shame. “You can call me Seungcheol.” he smiled at you, “Nice to meet you Y/N.”

“Nice to meet you too Seungcheol.” you greeted, happy to find him not nearly as scary as you were imagining.

“Well I think it’s about time we all get on the same page about Jun’s little problem.” Jeonghan could apparently not hold his curiosity in any longer.

Vernon snickered at the unintended innuendo. You covered your own chuckle.

“Hey! It’s not little!” Jun cried indignantly.

“I agree.”

‘Are we all commenting on Jun’s package now?’ you laughed to yourself.

“We need to talk things over. We’ll have to be careful. And we definitely need a plan.” S. Coups concluded.

“Woozi?” S. Coups raised his voice.

“Yeah?” an staticy intercom replied.

“Contact everyone. Let them know we’re having a mandatory meeting tomorrow night and to be here ASAP.”

“You got it.”

“Well,” Seungcheol looked around the room at all four of you, “looks like it’s gonna be a full house.”
