You know before the reveal of Feast, I actually had a fanfic-ish theory on what destroyed the order, the peacock and what had Fu so Scared

I initially had this theory of the guardians not only protecting the miraculous from the world but the world from the Kwamis, since there’s so many concepts (propulsion,destruction,action,etc) I thought that some concepts would be too dangerous with the Kwamis acting according their Concept (Plagg is a trouble maker, the tiger is loud, the bee is loyal, etc) so I thought of kwamis which acted on their concept way too much (regeneration regenerating too much which caused things like painful deformations, infection basically creating monster zombies, fortification being walking fortress of destruction, manipulation causing wars out of pure pleasure, etc) and I thought the thing that destroyed the order would be like the opposite of Plagg and Tikki, the two are a eternal loop of balance, of entropy and birth, of light and darkness, creation and destruction. So the bad guy would be the End of said valance

Like a villain similar to the Lich of adventure time which wanted nothing but the destruction of everything, the end of the cycle, the end of everything that is, was and will be. A villain that would mark himself has evil and would keep doing it because that’s he’s nature and doesn’t think he should go against it

I think Fu would have accidentally freed this Kwami of the end but the guardians sacrificed themselves and thousands of miraculouses (because we already have enough heroes) to trap it once again and the reason Fu ran away is because some of the leaking power of the End miraculous freed some minions of the kwami which want the miraculous of creation and Destruction so their master can destroy EVERYTHING

In a show about the miraculous (heck they even come before of ladybug’s and cat noir’s name) I think the most fitting villain would be a miraculous

That would explain why Fu was so scared of losing the Miraculous without pulling up the stupidity of the wish in default ending the world, since losing the miraculous could mean Literally the end of everything

Heck I even made a OC (the minion of the kwami chasing down Fu) which was just “hey what if I make a villain rival for ladybug that doesn’t have disgusting implications of being a minor (a rival that is a adult) so when she’s defeated the audience will cheer instead of being disgusted or sad for seeing a (technical) child being dragged into the depths of HELL” also to explain why the peacock was broken since the miraculous of the end (which rivals the power of creation and destruction together) could 100 break the miraculous, it would make the audience know how dangerous this powers are and would make it look important since the damage he caused started the whole show

Also it would rise the stakes better than Gabriel’s personality making a 180 and the wish having the most bullshit consequences, since the wish would be used to end the world

I even wrote a fanfic of the escaped minion being the reason the Timeline changes in cat blanc to make the world end, so the audience knows how corruptive, destructive, unnatural, evil this kwami is with its first plan including manipulating the minds of kids (Rossi slightly and heavily Lila) to start all the events, manipulate Gabriel to hurt he’s son, make cat Blanc fight ladybug and destroy the world. Lila and chloe are just kids, Gabriel is a broken man, but this thing? This thing and he’s minions are what people B.C. saw that inspired the Devil, Hell and demons

Seriously when I discovered a sentimonster (one the order had designed on their book) was the one who destroyed ALL of the guardians, I felt nothing but disappointment, specially when they don’t explain how the peacock was broken by a mere sentimonster

I expected something grand, something that would make Gabriel see the error of he’s ways with how insignificant he is compared to the forces he was trying to control, but instead I just got a sentimonster…

Am I the one in the wrong? Was I expecting too much? Because even till this day I still feel disappointed, specially by how pathetic and uninteresting Feast was. seriously if you changed Feast and that dragon giant from the Shanghai special, I would be pleased since at least I can see a threatening, smart and powerful monster which scales above Hawkmoth in every way (power, evilness, design, lore) being the one at fault of the destruction of this mighty guardians, but instead they died to a frog!

That was a pretty interesting and detailed backstory, anon. Do you have a link to the fanfic you wrote involving the minion?

You're not wrong to expect more from the backstory of one of this show's characters. I don't think anyone really expected the backstory that kicked off the plot to amount to "The monks who trained me were dicks, I got hungry, so I played God and accidentally wiped out the aforementioned monks with a blue frog."

Miraculous Ladybug, When you know to much, the limits over Luka. Warning Evolution spoiler.

When Alya faced the consequences for telling Nino she was still active as Rena rouge in “Risk” and “Strike Back”, we see her come to the realization that she could not hold onto the fox miraculous after Risk and Strike Back were defeated. Why? because, Alya knew the consequences of her action, and as a result, she knew it would only be a matter of time before Shadow Moth came after her once again, so despite Ladybugs protest, Alya knew what she had to do, she had to give back the fox miraculous to Ladybug to protect everyone. And although people were heartbroken over Alya giving back her miraculous, do not feel to disheartened, after all, the only thing that’s keeping her from getting it back is Gabriel, once he is defeated, Alya is more than guaranteed to get her miraculous back.

The only other time a situation like Alya’s had happened was when Hawkmoth discovered and targeted Master Fu. When Hawkmoth was defeated near the end of “Miracle Queen”, and Master Fu gave up ownership of the miracle box to Ladybug to prevent the villains from winning, we find out near the end of the episode that it was to dangerous for Master Fu to stay in Paris, as a result, Master Fu had to leave and live in London with Marianne, not only to start a new life, but to ensure that he was far away enough from Hawkmoth so he couldn't find him with his butterfly miraculous power and attempt to use him...and it looks like Fu was not the only one who met a similar fate.

When “Evolution” premiered, Ladybug decided it was best to let Alix keep the bunny miraculous so she could help protect it, however, knowing fully well that Monarch can very easily find Alix and take the bunny miraculous back should he akumatize her, Ladybug made the difficult decision to ask Alix to remain in the Burrow and trapped in time until Monarch was defeated.

And I know what you are thinking, ”Ladybug could have just taken back the bunny miraculous and placed it back into her yoyo, allowing Alix to stay home and be called on when Ladybug needs her”, and yes, I understand that, but given everything that’s happened in “Risk” and “Strike Back”, Ladybug knows her yoyo ended up in Monarchs hands!, because how else could he have gotten the miraculous after she saw the ball from the dog miraculous take her yoyo away. So rather than risk the miraculous being taken again by Monarch, Ladybug likely decided to take a chance and allow the others who are closest to her to finally help her carry the responsibility of protecting a miraculous. But if this alone happened to Alya, Master Fu and Alix then...what’s going to happen to Luka?!!!

Out of all the characters in the show, Luka has always been the one who was the most in danger!. Granted, Luka is not a negative guy which has allowed him to avoid being akumatized as little as possible, but given that he can still be akumatized, that he still has not learned how to break out of Hawkmoths control, that Ladybug’s magical charms can now be broken and not prevent akumatizations at 100%, and given that he is the only person who knows both Ladybug and Cat Noirs Identities without either of them knowing, there is no doubt that something needs to happen to Luka to not only protect him, but Ladybug and Cat Noir as well, but what? It seems as though given the situation and given what’s already happened to other characters, Luka may be left with 3 options to prevent Monarch from finding out Ladybug and Cat Noir’s identities through him:

Either 1.learn to resist and break free of Hawkmoths control before being completely akumatized so he can prevent accidentally telling the villain Ladybug and Cat Noirs identities.

2. be given something new from Ladybug that will help protect him from Monarchs attempts to control and akumatize him.

or 3.Leave his home and Paris like Alix and Master Fu had to do in order to get away from Monarchs reach and not come back until Ladybug and Cat Noir know its safe, possibly taking the snake miraculous with him to protect should Ladybug decide to give it to him permanently, it is after all, the only other time miraculous which posses just as much of a threat as the bunny miraculous.

But hey!.... its juts a theory...a Miraculous Ladybug theory!

“To be honest, I thought that Master Fu's downfall was going to be completely different. I don't know if I'm just reading too many fanfics, but for one, I thought that Nino was going to be under Fu's wing and be trained to be the next guardian instead of Marinette, due to him being the next holder of the turtle miraculous. Also, two, I thought the turtle miraculous or his status as the current guardian is what kept Fu alive and when he finally passed on the title as the guardian, he would have died, or dissolved into dust. Dark and farfetched I know lol XD”

I've seen people posting things like "poor Mari didn't deserve what she's going through" or "she's just a teenager, she shouldn't be doing this" but never acknowledge the fact that a monk who devoted his life to protecting the miraculous (and a half monk who unalived the rest of them) saw no problem in giving them the miraculous

I've said this before, but a big problem with the show is that it's only willing to get its feet wet when talking about more serious themes.

Master Fu is clearly a flawed character, but the writing just wants us to ignore the role he played in kicking off the show's events and act like he's as wise as Yoda or Mr. Miyagi.

Part one of my attempt to draw all the students of Jade Mountain Academy. Keep in mind that a lot of these have virtually no usable character information available beyond one or two short quotes, especially the poor sods in the copper and quartz winglets. That means some of this data is going to be made up and will likely conflict with any established popular headcanons. Just trying to make sense of this for myself.

you're telling me there's a dragon Jekyll and Hyde and no one is talking about it!?

i love Hailstorm, im only halfway through Book 7 but i would give everything for Hailstorm, the fact that he's such a....tragic character. like the torment of being an ENTIRELY different dragon. it would do numbers on her and i know it. this is existentialism incarnate. imagine being two people, but at the same time, only one. there are two sets of memories and feelings and.....man. i love you Hailstorm/Pyrite.

i was also thinking of Alex G's song Mary and how the lyrics are:

"i am real and you are not."

and i feel like that's how she feels about herself, but there's no bitterness despite how conflicted the feelings are because he doesn't hate himself. in fact i think she loves herself in both of its entireties.

so anyway Hailrite [Pyrstorm?] might be my new favorite character.
