#in case anyone was wondering. #ive been kind of self-ostracized from my family for a while because of politics #theyre all conservative and like pro cop and shit so ive fought with them a lot #but my mom and sister still recently drove/flew to Portland to help me move #we didnt talk abt politics mostly but i did have a depression break down in front of them a few times #it was rough #but i also forced them to watch a few episodes if midnight gospel #and i told them to watch the bo burnham special for a peak into the state of my mental health #which is what led to this text #i know she's not perfect and they're all still republican and stuff but #im still glad they love me #even after ive blown up and yelled at them on the group chat and stuff #anyway ive been sobbing since she sent me this so #time for me to go rewatch Inside and also maybe try to write something meaningful back to her #sorry to get so personal for a bit #thanks for listening if you are #. #sn #* #mom #bo burnham #inside
