Allow Dr Kissinger to explain...
Tumblr media
As we suffer through the information and political warfare surrounding COVID and a growing detachment and or abandonment of critical thinking on the part of the medical community.  Let us consider a underlying fallacy of logic which permeates scientific and medical fields.  Exemplified by an article in Scientific American back in the mid '90's.  A Corporate shill, derided the whole Holistic Medicine Movement of the time.  His whip was the concept of “Toxins”, that Holistic Medicine was attempting to remediate from our lives and bodies.  The Holistic Movement didn't enumerate or categorize the compounds that were aggravating or potentially causing numerous diseases and conditions.  The author discussed in “general” terms how our bodies through various mechanisms rids itself of any “toxin”. Admittedly his analysis on this point was more or less correct.  Our bodies rid, clear or excrete any toxin whether man made or natural via the same mechanisms.  What the author completely ignored was the idea of systems modeling and efficiency, existing within the context of our environment.
Soooo, Once upon a time there was a Garden with a Man and Woman.  The Garden's ambient environment with its plants, minerals and microbes were always exposing the Man and Woman to naturally occurring compounds that if left unchecked would eventually poison them.  These are the natural toxins, add to those the used byproducts and metabolites our bodies produce to sustain life and you thereby determine a nominal load factor.  Let us also presume a margin of 15% (yes probably way too high) as a buffer, the combined total determines the operating threshold of the body.  Into the Garden comes the Devil Progress and Multi-Nationals with their profits, quarterly reports and naked greed that start adding man made compounds and industrial pollutants to the Garden.  Soon even the water and food consumed by the Man and Woman are being tainted by compounds few outside a laboratory can even pronounce.  Now I don't need anyone with an M.D. after their name to tell me that soon the systems meant to clear both the natural and man made toxins soon exceeds 100% of their capacities.  Nor do I need any expert advise on what that eventually will do to the host.  Most of us I suspect are running 150 to 300% capacity on our systems, if not more.  The effects of this push on individuals will vary widely short of death.
Which brings us all the way back to COVID, vaccines, and the whole damn medical community.  Being taught wrong as in the aforementioned article.  The basis of and why we vaccinate is a very good one, at least it was.  I still have the scar from my polio vaccine.  Which I am thankful I got.  However, has anyone done a load analysis of the volumes of pathogens (dead or modified to be inert), preservatives, bacterial DNA and RNA, particulates and or other growth mediums used, besides whatever else may be present.  I am a parent.  I saw the amounts of vaccines they “required” my children to have and the regiment or schedule of inoculation.  It was FUCKING ridiculous!  I interjected my parental rights.  I decided what my children were vaccinated for and the schedule.  Despite my misgivings I did allow some that I considered extraneous or unwarranted, spreading all schedules further apart.  To give my children's bodies time to process out the additional load on their systems.  The Autism epidemic is much a product of pushing tiny bodies beyond their capacity to clear the loads we are dumping into them.  It is a abusive form of social engineering.  Those whose bodies can not handle the load and or whose DNA is not adaptive enough are being weeded out.  Are there other problems with the whole industry of vaccines, hell yes!  Please take a moment and re-read the above quote from Dr. Henry Kissinger.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 3: Marvel and MCU Easter Eggs Guide
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This article contains The Falcon and the Winter Soldier spoilers and potential spoilers for the wider MCU.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 3 might end up being remembered as the turning point of the series. A slow burn first episode led to some bigger revelations in the second one, but the third episode of the Marvel series is a bona fide sequel to one of the biggest MCU movies of all time in Captain America: Civil War. With a truly triumphant return for Sharon Carter and the re-introduction of Baron Helmut Zemo in a form that should feel much more recognizable to fans of the comics, there’s plenty of Marvel action to be had in “The Power Broker.”
Here’s what we found…
Dr. Wilfred Nagel
Wilfred Nagel was first introduced in Truth: Red, White, and Black, the same story that introduced Isaiah Bradley to Marvel Comics canon. The comics version of Nagel worked on the super soldier project back in World War II. After Professor Abraham Erksine’s death, Nagel was the one in charge of trying to recreate the process. He was the monster who killed hundreds of Black soldiers until succeeding by turning Isaiah Bradley into a super soldier.
And while Nagel’s comics super soldier program is designed to evoke the horrors of the Tuskegee Experiments, his description of his research in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier sounds more like a different injustice perpetrated on a Black subject: Henrietta Lacks.
Nagel describes working from “blood samples from a semi-stable test subject.” Henrietta Lacks was a young Black mother treated for cervical cancer in the early 1950s. The cancer proved fatal, but a collection of her cells sent to a tissue lab were remarkably hale, growing in the lab where other tissue samples would die out within 24 hours. The cell line cultivated from that sample would go on to be mass produced and used for a ton of biomedical research, even playing a critical role in the discovery of the polio vaccine.
Of course, all this was done without hers or her family’s consent. They didn’t even find out the cell line existed until 1975. That has led to a fight by her descendants and medical ethicists to give her the recognition she deserves for the part she’s played in helping human society, a movement that has only really taken off in the last decade.
Captain America: Civil War
Falcon is annoyed that Bucky won’t move his seat up. Their roles were switched during Captain America: Civil War.
Of course, that’s the only reference to Captain America: Civil War this episode. Just kidding!
Baron Zemo
This is the first time we see Zemo wearing his trademark purple mask. In the comics, Helmut Zemo was horribly burned by adhesives during a fight with Captain America and would hide his mutilated face with that mask.
When Bucky first enters Zemo’s cell, there is a reprise of Henry Jackman’s Captain America: Civil War score. Zemo was the central villain of Cap’s third MCU instalment, and Jackman returned to compose the Falcon and the Winter Soldier score for Marvel.
The Russian code words Zemo immediately uses – “longing, rusted, seventeen, daybreak, furnace, nine, benign, homecoming, one, freight car” – no longer activate the Winter Soldier, but Zemo attempts to press Bucky’s psychological buttons throughout the episode in other ways, and also tries to sow doubt in Sam’s mind about just how “healed” Bucky is from his time as HYDRA’s deadly assassin.
Zemo reveals he is currently reading the works of influential Italian Renaissance diplomat, philosopher and writer Niccolò Machiavelli. This is spectacularly on the nose, as Zemo is just about the most Machiavellian Marvel Comics villain there is – known to use his powers of deception and treachery to play all sides in almost any equation.
Wait, Marvel just dropped the entire “Zemo is royalty” backstory in there like it was nothing! The Baron has officially joined the MCU – with all that entails.
Zemo says that Sokovia has been gobbled up by neighboring states after the Avengers’ battle in Avengers: Age of Ultron left its city in rubble. He rhetorically asks whether Bucky and Sam have been to the memorial, and naturally they haven’t. We’ve seen a glimpse of Helmut standing in front of a memorial statue in trailers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, so he may go and pay his own respects at some point.
We also see that some time spent in the slammer has done nothing to change Zemo’s mind on the legacy of superheroes and super soldiers. He still believes they must be wiped out, and murders Nagel in a heartbeat when he thinks he has a chance to end the Super Serum line. Make no mistake, Bucky has a target on his back a mile wide where Zemo is concerned, and we don’t think Zemo will hesitate to kill Bucky as soon as the time is right.
Bucky as Captain America
This is the first time Bucky has suggested that he wield the shield. Not only has this happened in the comics for a time (with Zemo being part of his downfall), but previous Captain America movies have planted the seeds by regularly having Bucky wield the shield in the heat of battle.
So Bucky doesn’t just have a notebook like Steve’s, it IS Steve’s. Wonder if Zemo saw his own name in there?
Sharon Carter
The Sharon Carter we catch up with in episode 3 is much, MUCH closer to her Marvel Comics counterpart – in that she’s badass af – but this Sharon is also extremely jaded after going on the run, and is clearly involved in some other murky business that us viewers are being kept in the dark about, for now.
This is the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier written by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, and Sharon Carter becomes the MCU’s version of Wick. Just when she thought she was out, they pull her back in, and she has the unenviable job of fighting a series of Madripoor’s most eager assassins single handedly.
The Power Broker
In case there’s any doubt who holds a lot of influence in Madripoor’s Low Town, there’s some prominent graffiti that promises “The Power Broker is Watching”.
The Power Broker wants that Super Soldier Serum pretty bad, and with Nagel now dead thanks to Zemo, Karli Morgenthau is suddenly holding a lot of bargaining chips.
Any guesses on who the Power Broker might be? There are still three blank slots during the end credits. One of them is surely for whoever is playing the Power Broker. Who could the other two be for?
John Walker
We don’t spend a ton of time with John Walker in this episode, but we see the character’s harder edge increasingly creeping through. His “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM” feels very much like how the character used to behave during his early post-Captain America days as the U.S. Agent in the comics. John has a bit more nuance here on the screen than he did in the comics, but they clearly aren’t going to shy away from this aspect of the character.
Madripoor
Madripoor is one of the most famous fictional locations in all of Marvel Comics history, first appearing back in New Mutants #32 in 1985. It has pretty much always been primarily associated with the X-Men throughout its history (especially Wolverine, who liked to use Madripoor as his favorite personal vacation spot), but plenty of other Marvel heroes have found trouble in Madripoor through the years (including both the Clint Barton and Kate Bishop versions of Hawkeye, so don’t be surprised if we return here during their series). Of course, there are still no firm plans about how mutants will eventually be introduced into the MCU, this would be a fine place to start looking for clues.
The monkey sign was probably the entrance to the Brass/Bronze Monkey Saloon, a bar we visited back in the very influential Gruenwald Captain America run. Crossbones took Cap’s kidnapped girlfriend, Diamondback, there as he was running from the hero.
When talking about Madripoor, Falcon compares its ominous description to Skull Island, home to King Kong. Funny to drop that reference on the week of Godzilla vs. Kong‘s release. Unless this is referencing a totally different Skull Island. Did the Red Skull have his own island in the MCU?
The Princess Bar
If you’re looking for any big X-Men mutant clues, you should probably start with The Princess Bar itself, which in the comics is owned by Wolverine. But other than that, we didn’t get much in the way of mutant stuff out of these scenes.
Introduced in Chris Claremont and John Buscema’s story in 1988’s Marvel Comics Presents #1, The Princess Bar is owned by a man named O’Donnell and home to a bunch of Wolverine espionage shenanigans. At some point, Wolverine bought a silent partnership in the bar under his Madripoori alias Patch (Wolverine in a white tux with a patch over one eye, in the worst cover identity since that time Zooey Deschanel got rid of her bangs). These days in the comics it’s owned by Krakoa generally, as Captain Kate Pryde and her crew of Marauders are putting in quite a bit of work in Madripoor.
Snap Wilson
Falcon is annoyed because his Madripoor outfit makes him look like “a pimp.” For a time, Marvel retconned it so that when Steve Rogers met Sam Wilson originally, he was actually a pimp named Snap Wilson. Some time later, Marvel decided that this was in bad taste and undid the retcon. It has since been explained away as Red Skull trying to alter time and space with the Cosmic Cube, as he has been known to do.
Anyway, Sam’s “pimp” outfit is because he’s supposed to be masquerading as…
Smiling Tiger (Conrad Mack)
Smiling Tiger (Conrad Mack) is an archnemesis of the New Warriors who has, for a time, helped run the criminal underworld of Madripoor. Fittingly, while people may see Madripoor as the first step in seeing Wolverine show up in the MCU, Smiling Tiger’s comic incarnation has a noticeable resemblance to the famed X-Men member.
Trouble Man
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Sam once again brings up Marvin Gaye’s Trouble Man soundtrack album, which he has been talking about literally from his first minutes onscreen in the MCU. He’s right, by the way, this album rules. Funny enough, this episode airs on April 2, which would have been Marvin’s 82nd birthday. Go listen to this album specifically or Marvin in general in honor of the man.
Black Panther
Bucky follows a trail of tech breadcrumbs at the end of the episode after previously warning Sam that Wakanda hasn’t forgotten the killing of King T’Chaka during an attack orchestrated by Zemo in Captain America: Civil War. Waiting for him in a quiet side street is Ayo (Florence Kasumba) second-in-command of the Dora Milaje from Black Panther, who is less than happy about Zemo’s freedom. We wrote more about what this is gonna mean for Sam, Bucky, and Zemo here.

Making the Impossible Possible
(A little BATIM one-shot based off of this tweet from Meatly, with a bit of this theory thrown in for good measure.)
Description: Joey Drew has always been infamous around the studio for his motivational speeches.
Sammy’s fingers practically danced across the strings of the banjo as he carefully plucked out note after note, pausing occasionally to think about the next cord. A set of quick quarter notes, pause, another quick set, two strings being plucked at intermittently as he decided on the next key. He could bring the woodwinds in for this section, get a response from the brass, and build it up into-
A door opening.
A wrong note hit the air sharply and was silenced as Sammy rested his hand against the instrument, running his other hand though his hair as he once again became aware of the awful noise coming from the pump. “I already told you, Wally. If you need the switch, just flip it and leave.” What was he playing again...?
The door groaned in protest as Wally leaned his weight against it, flinging his ink-stained mop over his shoulder and leaving a large black mark on the door. “Actually, Joey had me come down here. He said we got some sorta meetin’ up in the main theater room.“
“So you’re his messenger now?“ Sammy had already given up on remembering the song, instead carefully placing the banjo at the base of the desk.
“Apparently!“ The janitor straightened up and set the mop head back on the floor, sending a fresh spray of ink splattering against the wood. Sammy’s disgruntlement ticked one step further to full-on irritation. “Joey’s been having me run all around the place tellin’ everyone about this stupid meeting of his. What do I look like, a newsie?“
“You look like someone who’s getting ink all over my door,“ Sammy replied sagely, rising from the chair as Wally turned around in bewilderment. He swept his way past the janitor as he uttered a choice exploitative at the newly-created mess, joining the flow of people in the hall.
“Does Mr. Drew always hold meetings like this?“ A familiar southern accent rose above the chatter, and Susie soon fell in line with him. Sammy could feel his annoyance slipping away at her presence as they started up the stairs. If Wally was incompetent, terrible at following directions, and generally useless, Susie was almost his exact opposite - she was capable, charming, and quite frankly was much too talented to work in a place like this. Much like himself, really.
“Only when he feels the studio needs a pick-me-up. It’s been about three months since the last one, so I suppose we’re overdue.” He paused as they entered into the main projector room. Most of the other employees had already arrived, taking up the few available chairs and regulating the rest of them to standing. Sammy located the rest of the music department and moved to stand with them, Susie trailing behind. “Of course, I doubt anything sort of a pay raise will get folk’s spirits up now. Not that he’d subtract from his own paycheck to do that...“
“He could always say he’s come to his senses and is getting rid of that blasted machine of his,“ Norman piped up as they joined the band. “It’s impossible to any work done with that damn thing running all the time. I can’t even hear the band with it on, and they’re less than ten feet in front of me!“
He had a point. Even now the pumping, rattling beat of the contraption was almost overbearing, filling the already noisy room with a roaring din that only made people raise their voices even louder to be heard over it. Sammy shot a disdainful look at the doorway. “This might be one of the few times I’m glad that our department is two stories under everything else. How anyone can work with that racket going on at this volume is beyond me.”
Susie opened her mouth to speak, only to close it again upon noticing the chatter around her dimming to to whispers, then silence. The pulsating chugging of the machine was now joined by the sound of footsteps and an occasional soft thud as a familiar figure made its way to the front of the room. Joey Drew turned to stand in front of the projector, placing his cane out in front of him and resting his hands on top, ever-present smile on his pale face. “Good evening folks! How’s everyone doing?“
A less than agreeable murmur ran through the audience. Normally Joey’s warm demeanor would brighten up any room, but right now it was dimmed by the presence of the machine rattling away in the background. Joey let out a tsk under his breath, shaking his head like one would when dealing with a disobedient child. “You see, that kind of attitude is what we need to talk about today.”
“Is he really doing this speech again?” Sammy murmured.
“What speech is that?” Susie whispered back, keeping her eyes trained on Joey.
“Just watch. Joey’s given this one so many times we’ve practically got it memorized word-for-word at this point.”
“I figure you’re not a real employee of Joey Drew Studios unless you’ve heard this one at least half a dozen times,” Norman added. “Hell, make it two dozen just to be safe.“
“Seventeen years ago, I became very ill.” The group fell silent again as Joey’s voice drifted over the crowd. “The doctors diagnosed it as paralytic polio, and told me that there was a 30% chance I would die from it. Now obviously, that didn’t quite come to fruition.” This got a few chuckles from the newer employees who weren’t already familiar with the joke. “However, the problem with polio is that the initial illness isn’t always the issue. In my case, the disease weakened the muscles in my right leg.“
Joey turned to the right and started taking one slow step after another, walking very deliberately across the front of the room so everyone could clearly see what he was talking about. Even though his shoe and pant leg hid the actual flesh, it was obvious something was wrong with the limb. It was almost as if someone had taken it at the knee and violently twisted it to the right, then smashed the toes in for good measure. “The doctors told me I would never be able to walk again. ‘It was impossible!,’ they’d say.” He paused for a moment, closing his eyes.
“Never mind his bad leg,“ Norman muttered. “Doesn’t he seem a bit... peculiar? More so than usual, I mean.“
“He does seem somewhat tired, I suppose.” Sammy watched as Wally slid in through the back entrance, fresh ink on his mop from cleaning the door. He stood against the far wall and tried to look inconspicuous, failing miserably in the process.
“He’s also looks a bit pale, doesn’t he?“ Susie watched as Joey opened his eyes again and slowly moved back to the center of the room, the animator’s usually lively movements sluggish. “I don’t know, he’s probably just not sleeping well. I’ve heard he’s sunk a lot of money into that new machine - ‘course he’s going to be a bit more restless than usual.“
“But... I refused to give up.“ Joey paused for a moment and closed his eyes again, recollecting himself. There was an edge to his voice, as if in pain. “And here I am, fit as a whistle. You’re all telling me that reaching these deadlines is “impossible“. But impossible is nothing but a word used by people who have already given up! Sometimes, it just takes a bit of extra effort to make the impossible possible. I... I believe that with the right amount of-“
Joey collapsed, his cane slipping out from under him and clattering against the wooden floor.
A few shouts and gasps rose up from the audience, the sound of scraping chairs filling the room as a handful of people stood up to help. Wally was the first one to react, rushing up to the stage and throwing Joey’s arm around his shoulders while holding his waist for support. He uttered a quiet “You okay there, boss?“ as he offered him his cane. Joey took it, trying to right himself.
“Everyone, please, calm down!” Joey was trying to speak lightly, but his breathing was uneven and his voice was somewhat shaky. “I just need a moment to rest and I’ll be... I’ll be just swell.“ He attempted to stand properly again, only to fall back against Wally’s chest. The janitor whispered something about getting out of there and going to the infirmary downstairs. Joey nodded.
“Just make some tracks and get back to work, folks!“ He called out as the two made their way to the door, the crowd’s gossiping picking back up to a low whisper. “Remember what I... well. I know you can do it!“
The door slammed shut with a loud bang, and the studio erupted into chatter.
“See that? It’s a metaphor,“ Sammy mused, staring as the spot where Joey had left.
“How do you figure that?“ Norman pulled out a pack of smokes from his pocket and offered the box up. Sammy held up a hand in refusal and Susie shook her head with a “no thank you“, the packet instead being accepted by one of the nearby animators.
“Joey’s given us that speech over and over again, and in previous years we’ve always managed to pull through. This year we’ve already missed three major deadlines, and what happens?“
“I suppose Mr. Drew’s comparison doesn’t work well when he can’t stand,“ Susie pointed out, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Sammy nodded.
“Exactly. Did you see the expression on Joey’s face? He knew. Everyone in the studio knew. He can talk about “making the impossible possible“ all he wants, but he can’t make miracles happen.“
Outside the room, the noise from the Ink Machine seemed louder than ever.

Note
Blake, Jack, and Lindsay get their vaccines at school. Before they go in Jack takes the mick of all the people who are stressing out about it, but guess who's the one who throws up and passes out after the needle goes in?
A/N: This prompt has literally been in my inbox for an age and I’ve finally gotten round to write it! I really enjoyed writing teenage Jack, so I hope you enjoy reading it! :)
“OhJesus look at Megan’s face!” Jack pointed across the assembly hall area to agirl who was being propped into a chair. “Wow, I never thought she’d be one togo all blotchy like that! Look, look!” He nudged Lindsey and Blake, stillpointing across to the girl, whose blonde hair was straggling down the side ofher face and was crying noisily. “What an actual wuss!”
“Stopbeing such a wanker Jack!” Lindsey shoved the hand that he was pointing withdown to his side, aware that the others from their class around them werefollowing the line of where he was indicating.
“What?!”Jack chuckled rather maliciously as he watched yet another girl, whose name hedidn’t know, being helped out of a cubicle and into the quiet seated area nearMegan. “It’s just an injection… It’s not like they’ve had their arm cut off oranything!”
“Benice,” Blake muttered, fumbling with the slip of paper in his hand over toconfirm his identity.
“Ohdon’t tell me you’re gonna freak out about this…” Jack turned to look at Blake.
“No!”Blake refuted a little too quickly, but he looked a little nervous at the sametime.
“Really?”Jack had raised an eyebrows at his best mate, and his gaze was so intense thatBlake had to look away.
“Shutup…” He mumbled, tapping his fingers on his knees repetitively. “It’s just thethought isn’t it?”
“Whatthought?” Jack asked obliviously, with a small snort.
“Itdoesn’t matter…” Blake said, shrugging his shoulders.
“Atleast we get to miss German though, eh?” Lindsey interrupted, clearly trying tochange the topic, but Jack had resumed his staring back down at Megan and theother girl who were being plied with water by the nurse looking after them.
“That’strue…” Jack wiggled around on his chair, his eyes still focused on the girls inthe corner. “You would have thought they’d be better organised though! Like ourwhole class has been here since the start of this period, but only twelve of ushave been called!”
“They’redoing their best…” Blake mumbled, his leg beginning to jiggle up and down likehe was resting it on a nerve.
Theywere interrupted by one of the nurses calling the next batch of names, one ofthem was Lindsey. She rose swiftly and said: “I’ll see you in a bit.”
Theywatched as she descended the stairs from the tiered seats, down to where theindividual makeshift cubicles had been set up. Blake was still clutching at theslip of paper in his hand.
“Yousure you’re not gonna freak out?” Jack repeated, a slightly wicked grin on hisface.
“I’llbe fine,” Blake replied curtly. “I’m just annoyed cause I could be practicing. This is a total waste of time.”
“There’sa piano over there,” Jack pointed across to the grand piano in the corner ofthe hall. “You could serenade us all if you wanted?”
“Nothanks…” Blake replied dryly. “I just wish they’d hurry up!”
“Wellthe longer we’re here the more classes we miss!” Jack had about turned, and wasnow not complaining about the wait. He watched again as Megan was helped out ofher chair by the nurse, her face had resumed its normal colour. He was so busywatching her that he didn’t notice anything else until Blake nudged him hard inthe side. When he looked around Blake was on his feet, staring down at him.
“Comeon,” he said impatiently. “We’ve been called…”
“Oh!”Jack got to his feet behind Blake and followed him down the stairs and wasdirected towards one of the cubicles.
Ashe rounded the curtain of the cubicle he had to go to, he came face to facewith an attractive young red head, who held her hand out for the crumpled slipthat he’d shoved into his pocket. She took it with a disapproving look on herface, spreading it out onto her table and then indicated the seat.
“Graba seat,” she scribbled something onto Jack’s bit of paper, then stamped it witha date stamp. “Right Jack, so you just need the 3-in-1, so that’s Diptheria,Polio and Tetanus, you don’t need the Rubella…” She was rummaging in a cool bagclearly obtaining the vaccine.
“Heywait – why not?” Jack shot, folding his arms across his chest and leaning backlazily in the chair.
“Well,Rubella is given only to girls,” she had withdrawn a box and was pulling on apair of gloves before she prepared the needle.
“That’ssexist!” Jack exclaimed, and the nurse shot him an exasperated glance; clearlydealing with a whole year of teenagers in one day had been trying to herpatience. A wicked thrill of pleasure ran through Jack as she started to prepthe needle with a little more vigour than was probably necessary. It occurred toJack that it probably wasn’t wise to antagonise a person who was about to stabhim with a needle, but he couldn’t help him.
“WellJack, we give Rubella to girls because it can be very dangerous if you’repregnant,” she said dryly, “so unless you’re intending to get pregnant soon, I’mpretty sure you won’t need it.”
“Ah,”Jack grinned widely as she turned to look at him, “I’ll be sure to practicesafe sex and not get up the duff then!”
“Nowwe’ve got that sorted out, what arm am I using?” She asked, holding the needleup.
“Doesit have to be my arm? Sure there’s no where else that you can stick it?” Thewords had left Jack’s mouth before he was consciously aware of even thinking.
“I’llstick it in your mouth if you don’t stop being lippy!” She threatened, puttingher hand on her hip and staring at him. “So – which arm am I using?” Her voicewas firmer as she repeated this.
“Fine– my right,” Jack sighed overdramatically, and began to unbutton his shirt togive her access; he paused as she stood waiting and put on his most scandalisedvoice: "Aren’t you going to give me some privacy?”
Shemake a sound like a sucking of her teeth as she turned her back, rolling hereyes and Jack could tell that she was honestly considering whether it’d beacceptable to hit a pupil. Thinking he’d probably annoyed her enough, he slidhis right sleeve from his shoulder.
“Okay!”He said cheerily, and she turned round still looking like she might shove theneedle up his nose.
“Youmight want to look the other way,” she advised, her voice still hard as shebent next to his exposed upper arm, but Jack let out a derisive snort. “Sharpscratch coming.”
Jackfelt the needle enter his skin and he had to fight against a reactive jerk fromhis body. He swore he could feel the cold liquid in the syringe entering hisarm, and then spread through the rest of his body rapidly. Almost instantly hisheart had begun to pound inside his chest, and a sudden buzzing began in hisears.
“Right,”the nurse said, dropping the used needle into a yellow sharps box on the deskand removed her gloves. “That’s you all done,” she picked up her pen and beganto scrawl something onto the slip of paper that bore his name, “you need to sitin the seats for ten minutes until you’re told you can leave.”
Asshe advised this, the cold sensation had engulfed all of Jack’s body andbrought with it a cold sweat that he could feel on his trembling fingers as hetried to button his shirt back up. He found himself taking a slow deep breaths, and trying extra hard to get rid of the fuzzy buzzing inside his head.
“Jack?”He heard the nurse’s voice from what sounded like very far away, and he lookedup at her; she was frowning at him. “Are you not feeling well?”
“I…”Jack tried to reply, but his voice seemed to have died in his throat, alltraces of his sassy self gone. He regretted opening his mouth as his stomachhad given an almighty lurch, and his mouth was filled with very watery saliva.Breathing through his nose and swallowing rapidly, he leant back against thechair.
“Jack?Tell me how you’re feeling?” She was asking, her voice sharper now, and he felther hand on his shoulder suddenly. Trying to wipe his forehead with his shakinghand so as to remove the damp sticky feeling, he could feel his stomach stillchurning and lurching inside him and he pressed his lips further together. Surethis feeling would soon pass, he was determined to ride it out.
Buta sudden heave sent his body barrelling forward and he placed his hands on hisknees, taking shaky breaths.
“H’gkkkuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrghhh!” Jack’sstomach squeezed suddenly and before he knew it a fountain of sick had pouredfrom his mouth, splattering his trousers, shoes and across the floor. Heinhaled shakily, his mouth sour and still dripping with saliva; he felt anotherfierce convulsion roll up from his gut, and a further mouthful of vomit joinedthat already on the school trousers.
           “Jack?”
Someonewas talking to him, but his head was swirling as he closed his eyes so as notto look at the puddle of puke. He felt hot all over now, like the cold had beenignited to fire, but he knew he was still shivering. He felt weak, and his headwas pounding now the residual buzzing faded in and out and then, suddenly, stopped.
“Jack?Jack?” It was a different voice than it had been before, a male voice. Jackfelt like he’d been wrung like a sponge, exhaustion swept through him, but witha jolt he realised that he was already lying down. Very, very slowly, Jackforced himself to open his eyes; and saw Blake and Lindsey peering down at him, looking worried. He was lying on a trolley with his legs elevated slightly.
“Urgh…” Jack let out a low groan but madeno attempt to sit up.
“Takeit easy Jack,” Blake told him, resting his hand gently onto Jack’s shoulder, “youfainted…”
“I– what?” He murmured, feeling his cheeks burn with embarrassment as he closedhis eyes again.
“Thenurses said it’s really common, don’t worry,” Lindsey said, and even with hiseyes shut he could tell she had her ‘I told you so’ face on. “They’ve calledyour folks, one of them is coming to get you, you need to be watched for thenext couple of hours.”
“I’dbe better staying here then…” He mumbled opening his eyes once more. He knewthat whoever it was that came and got him would take him home settle him on thesofa, and then go back to work.
“Atleast you get the rest of the day off…” Lindsey tried to inject a tone ofcheeriness, but Jack simply glared up at her.
           “Thisis awful…” Jack admitted honestly.
“Cheerup,” Blake patted Jack gently on the arm, a wry smile on his face. “It was onlyan injection, remember?”

Paint by Numbers: Using Data to Produce Great Content
Paint by Numbers: Using Data to Produce Great Content
Posted by rjonesx.
It's not every day that I write about content. To be honest, it's probably a once-a-year kind of thing. I will readily admit that I'm a "links are king" kind of SEO, and have been since starting in this industry more than a decade ago. However, I do look over the fence from time to time to see if the grass is greener and, on occasion, I actually like what I see. Prior to joining Moz, I was a consultant at an agency like many of you reading this blog post. More often than not, one of the key concerns of my clients was what to write about. It seems that webmasters and business owners alike can easily acquire writer's block after trudging through the uninspiring task of turning a list of keywords into website copy. So where do you look when you have run out of words
Numbers.
Alright, stick with me here. I imagine for some of you the idea of poring over numbers to remedy writer's block would be like trying to stop a headache with a brick. It's adding insult to injury. What I hope to show you in the next couple of paragraphs is how data can be an incredible source of inspiration in writing, especially if you can hit a few key principles: expose, relate, surprise, and share.
Expose
Chances are your business or website generates some amount of unique, first party data that you can expose to the world. It might be from analytics, your rank tracker like Moz, or from raw user data if you operate a forum. I'll give you examples of how you might tap into these resources (especially when they don't seem obvious or plenteous) but let's start with a canonical example of one great use of first-party data in an industry that seems directly at odds with — dating.
The thought of quantifying and analyzing our love lives seems like an oxymoron of sorts. However, one of the most successful uses of data for content has been produced by the team at OK Cupid, whose "data"-tagged blog posts have earned thousands of solid backlinks and enviable traffic. The team at OK Cupid accomplishes this by tapping their huge resource for unique data, generated by their user base. Let's look at one quick example: Congrats Graduates: No One Gives a Sh*t.
The blog post is fairly straightforward (and not particularly long) but it used unique data that isn't really available to the average person. Because OK Cupid is in a privileged position, they can provide this kind of insight to their audience at large.
But maybe you don't have a million customers with profiles on your site; where can you look for first party data? Well, here are a couple of ideas of the types of data your company or organization might have which can easily be turned into interesting content:
Google Analytics, Search Console data and Adwords data: Do you see trends around holidays that are interesting? Perhaps you notice that more people search for certain keywords at certain times. This could be even more interesting if there's a local holiday (like a festival or event) that makes your data unique from the rest of the country.
Sales data: When do your sales go up or down? Do they coincide with events? Or do they happen to coincide with completely different types of keywords? Try using Google Correlate, which will identify keywords that follow the same patterns as your data.
Survey data: Use your sales or lead history to run surveys and generate insightful content.
A clothing store could compare responses to questions about personality by the colors of clothing that people purchase (Potential headline: Is It True What They Say About Red?)
A car parts store could compare the size of certain accessories to favorite sports (Potential headline: Big Trucks and Big Hits)
An insurance provider could compare the type of insurance requested vs. the level of education (Potential headline: What Smart People Do Differently with Insurance)
There are probably tons more sources of unique, first-party data that you or your business have generated over the years which can be turned into great content. If you dig through the data long enough, you'll hit pay dirt.
Relate
Data is foreign. It's a language almost no one speaks in their day-to-day conversations, a notation meant for machines. This consideration requires that we make data immediately relatable to our readers. We shouldn't just ask "What does the data say?", but instead "What does the data say to me?" How we make data relatable is simple — organize your data by how people identify themselves. This can be geographic, economic, biological, social, or cultural distinctions with which we regularly categorize ourselves.
Many of the best examples of this kind of strategy involve geography (perhaps because everyone lives somewhere, and it's pretty non-controversial to make generic claims about one location or another). Take a look at a map of your country and try not to look first towards where you live. I'm a North Carolinian, and I almost immediately find myself interested in anything that compares my state to others.
So maybe you aren't OK Cupid with millions of users and you can't find unique data to share — don't worry, there's still hope. The example below is a rather ingenious method of using Google Adwords data to build a geographical story that's relatable to any potential customer in the United States. The webmasters at Opulent used state-level Keyword Planner to visualize popularity across the country in a piece they call the "State of Style."
When I found this on Reddit's DataIsBeautiful (where most of these examples come from), I immediately checked to see what performed best in North Carolina. I honestly couldn't care less about popular fashion or jewelry brands, but my interest in North Carolina eclipsed that lack of interest. Geography-based data visualization has produced successful content related to in sports, politics, beer, and even knitting.
If you walk away with any practical ideas from this post, I think this example has got to be it. Fire up an Adwords campaign and find out how consumer demand breaks down in your industry at a state-by-state level. Are you a marketer and want to attract clients in a particular sector? Here's your chance to write a whitepaper on national demand. If you're a local business, you can target Google Keyword Planner to your city and compare it to other cities around the country.
Surprise
Perhaps the greatest opportunity with data-focused content is the chance to truly surprise your reader. There's something exciting about learning an interesting fact (who hasn't seen one of these lying around and didn't pick it up?). So, how do you make your data "pop?" How do you make numbers fascinating?
Perspective.
Let's start with a simple statistic:
The cost of ending polio between 2013 and 2018 is $5.5 Billion Dollars.
How does that number feel to you? Does it feel big or little? Is it interesting on its own? Probably not, let's try and spice it up a bit.
$5.5 billion dollars doesn't seem that much when you realize people spend that amount on iPhones every 2 weeks. We could rid the world of polio for that much! Or, what if we present it like this...
In this light, it seems almost insane to spend that much money preventing just a couple more polio cases relative to the huge gains we could make on malaria. Of course, the statistics don't tell the full story. Polio is in the end-stages of eradication where the cost-per-case is much higher, and as malaria is attacked, it too will see cost-per-case increase. But the point remains the same: by giving the polio numbers some sort of context, some sort of forced perspective, we make the data far more intriguing and appealing.
So how would this work with content for your own site? Let's look at an example from BestPlay.co, which wrote a piece on Board Games are Getting Worse. Board games aren't a data-centric industry, but that doesn't keep them from producing awesome content with data. Here's a generic graph they provide in the piece which shows off average board game ratings.
There really isn't much to see here. There's nothing intrinsically shocking about the data as we look at it. So how do they add perspective to make their point and give the user intrigue? Simple — apply a historical perspective.
With this historical perspective, we can see board game scores getting better and better up until 2012, when they began to take a dive — the first multi-year dive in their recorded history. To draw users in, you use comparison to provide surprising perspectives.
Share
This final method is the one that I think is most overlooked. Once you've created your fancy piece of content, let your audience do some leg work for you by releasing the data set. There's an entire community of the Internet just looking for great data sets which could take advantage of your data and cite your content in their own publications. You can find everything from All of Donald Trump's Tweets to Everything Lost at TSA to Hand-drawn Pictures of Pineapples. While there is a good chance your data set won't ever be used, it can pick up a couple of extra links in the event that it does.
Putting it all together
What happens when a webmaster combines these types of methods — exposing unique data, making it relatable and surprising, even for a topic that seems averse to data? You get something like this: Jeans vs. Leggings.
This piece played the geography card for relatability:
They compared user interest in jeans to give perspective to the growth of demand for leggings:
Slice.com reveals their first-party data to make interesting, data-driven content that ultimately scores them links from sites like In Style Magazine, Shape.com, and the NY Post. Looking at fashion through the lens of data meant great traffic and great shares.
How do I get started?
Get down and dirty with the data. Don't wait until you end up with a nice report in your hand, but start slicing and dicing things looking for interesting patterns or results. You can start with the data you already have: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Adwords, and, if you're a Moz customer, even your rank tracking data or keyword research data. If none of these avenues work, dig through the amazing data resources found on Reddit or WebHose. Look for a story in the numbers by relating the data to your audience and making comparisons to provide perspective. It isn't a foolproof formula, but it is pretty close. The right slice of data will cut straight through writer's block.

Paint by Numbers: Using Data to Produce Great Content
Posted by  rjonesx.   It’s not every day that I write about content. To be honest, it’s probably a once-a-year kind of thing. I will readily admit that I’m a “links are king” kind of SEO, and have been since starting in this industry more than a decade ago. However, I do look over the fence from time to time to see if the grass is greener and, on occasion, I actually like what I see. Prior to joining Moz, I was a consultant at an agency like many of you reading this blog post. More often than not, one of the key concerns of my clients was what to write about. It seems that webmasters and business owners alike can easily acquire writer’s block after trudging through the uninspiring task of turning a list of keywords into website copy. So where do you look when you have run out of words
  Numbers.
Alright, stick with me here. I imagine for some of you the idea of poring over numbers to remedy writer’s block would be like trying to stop a headache with a brick. It’s adding insult to injury. What I hope to show you in the next couple of paragraphs is how data can be an incredible source of inspiration in writing, especially if you can hit a few key principles: expose, relate, surprise, and share.
Expose  Chances are your business or website generates some amount of unique, first party data that you can expose to the world. It might be from analytics, your rank tracker like Moz, or from raw user data if you operate a forum. I’ll give you examples of how you might tap into these resources (especially when they don’t seem obvious or plenteous) but let’s start with a canonical example of one great use of first-party data in an industry that seems directly at odds with — dating.
The thought of quantifying and analyzing our love lives seems like an oxymoron of sorts. However, one of the most successful uses of data for content has been produced by the team at OK Cupid, whose  “data”-tagged blog posts  have earned thousands of solid backlinks and enviable traffic. The team at  OK Cupid  accomplishes this by tapping their huge resource for unique data, generated by their user base. Let’s look at one quick example:  Congrats Graduates: No One Gives a Sh*t .
The blog post is fairly straightforward (and not particularly long) but it used  unique  data that isn’t really available to the average person. Because OK Cupid is in a privileged position, they can provide this kind of insight to their audience at large.
But maybe you don’t have a million customers with profiles on your site; where can you look for first party data? Well, here are a couple of ideas of the types of data your company or organization might have which can easily be turned into interesting content:
Google Analytics, Search Console data and Adwords data:  Do you see trends around holidays that are interesting? Perhaps you notice that more people search for certain keywords at certain times. This could be even more interesting if there’s a local holiday (like a festival or event) that makes your data unique from the rest of the country.
Sales data:  When do your sales go up or down? Do they coincide with events? Or do they happen to coincide with completely different types of keywords? Try using  Google Correlate , which will identify keywords that follow the same patterns as your data.
If you dig through the data long enough, you’ll hit pay dirt.
Relate  Data is foreign. It’s a language almost no one speaks in their day-to-day conversations, a notation meant for machines. This consideration requires that we make data immediately relatable to our readers. We shouldn’t just ask “What does the data say?”, but instead “What does the data say to me?” How we make data relatable is simple — organize your data by how people identify themselves. This can be geographic, economic, biological, social, or cultural distinctions with which we regularly categorize ourselves.
Many of the best examples of this kind of strategy involve geography (perhaps because everyone lives somewhere, and it’s pretty non-controversial to make generic claims about one location or another). Take a look at a map of your country and try not to look first towards where you live. I’m a North Carolinian, and I almost immediately find myself interested in anything that compares my state to others.
So maybe you aren’t OK Cupid with millions of users and you can’t find unique data to share — don’t worry, there’s still hope. The example below is a rather ingenious method of using  Google Adwords  data to build a geographical story that’s relatable to any potential customer in the United States. The webmasters at  Opulent  used state-level Keyword Planner to visualize popularity across the country in a piece they call the “ State of Style. “
When I found this on Reddit’s  DataIsBeautiful  (where most of these examples come from), I immediately checked to see what performed best in North Carolina. I honestly couldn’t care less about popular fashion or jewelry brands, but my interest in North Carolina eclipsed that lack of interest. Geography-based data visualization has produced successful content related to in  sports ,  politics ,  beer , and even  knitting .
If you walk away with any practical ideas from this post, I think this example has got to be it. Fire up an Adwords campaign and find out how consumer demand breaks down in your industry at a state-by-state level. Are you a marketer and want to attract clients in a particular sector? Here’s your chance to write a whitepaper on national demand. If you’re a local business, you can target Google Keyword Planner to your city and compare it to other cities around the country.
Surprise  Perhaps the greatest opportunity with data-focused content is the chance to truly surprise your reader. There’s something exciting about learning an interesting fact ( who hasn’t seen one of these lying around and didn’t pick it up? ). So, how do you make your data “pop?” How do you make numbers fascinating?   Perspective.
Let’s start with a simple statistic:
The cost of ending polio between 2013 and 2018 is
  $5.5 Billion Dollars .
How does that number feel to you? Does it feel big or little? Is it interesting on its own? Probably not, let’s try and spice it up a bit.
$5.5 billion dollars doesn’t seem that much when you realize people spend that amount on iPhones every 2 weeks. We could rid the world of polio for that much! Or, what if we present it like this...
In this light, it seems almost insane to spend that much money preventing just a couple more polio cases relative to the huge gains we could make on malaria. Of course, the statistics don’t tell the full story.
Let’s look at an example from  BestPlay.co , which wrote a piece on  Board Games are Getting Worse . Board games aren’t a data-centric industry, but that doesn’t keep them from producing awesome content with data. Here’s a generic graph they provide in the piece which shows off average board game ratings.
There really isn’t much to see here. There’s nothing intrinsically shocking about the data as we look at it.
Share  This final method is the one that I think is most overlooked. Once you’ve created your fancy piece of content, let your audience do some leg work for you by releasing the data set. There’s an entire community of the Internet  just looking for great data sets  which could take advantage of your data and cite your content in their own publications. You can find everything from  All of Donald Trump’s Tweets  to  Everything Lost at TSA  to  Hand-drawn Pictures of Pineapples . While there is a good chance your data set won’t ever be used, it can pick up a couple of extra links in the event that it does.
Putting it all together  What happens when a webmaster combines these types of methods — exposing unique data, making it relatable and surprising, even for a topic that seems averse to data? You get something like this:  Jeans vs. Leggings.
This piece played the geography card for relatability:
They compared user interest in jeans to give perspective to the growth of demand for leggings:
Slice.com  reveals their first-party data to make interesting, data-driven content that ultimately scores them links from sites like In Style Magazine, Shape.com, and the NY Post. Looking at fashion through the lens of data meant great traffic and great shares.
How do I get started?  Get down and dirty with the data. Don’t wait until you end up with a nice report in your hand, but start slicing and dicing things looking for interesting patterns or results. You can start with the data you already have:  Google Analytics ,  Google Search Console ,  Google Adwords , and, if you’re a Moz customer, even your  rank tracking data  or  keyword research data . If none of these avenues work, dig through the amazing data resources found on  Reddit  or  WebHose . Look for a story in the numbers by relating the data to your audience and making comparisons to provide perspective. It isn’t a foolproof formula, but it is pretty close. The right slice of data will cut straight through writer’s block.

Trump not joining WHO-backed coronavirus vaccine effort could hurt US
The Trump administration said the US would not take part in COVAX, a worldwide WHO-backed effort to develop and disperse coronavirus vaccines.
Trump has actually pledged to withdraw the US from WHO completely, calling the group’s pandemic reaction “China-centric.”
Health specialists are worried that the United States’s absence from COVAX could restrain the nation’s access to vaccines established in other nations.
Go to Organization Insider’s homepage for more stories
The US, traditionally a global leader in combating contagious illness like HIV and smallpox, has actually distanced itself from WHO given that the pandemic started. In Might, President Donald Trump announced the United States would pull its funding and membership from the organization, a firm of the United Nations specializing in global public-health problems. In the United States so far, vaccine candidates developed by AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford, Moderna, and a Pfizer-BioNTech partnership have actually reached phase-three trials
However COVAX is the only global effort working with multiple nations to establish, manufacture, and distribute a coronavirus vaccine– and to make sure it reaches vulnerable populations, like older people and healthcare workers.
” The US has actually constantly been a leader in international health, going back to smallpox removal or polio removal or HIV,” Expense Gates, who’s assisting to fund Gavi, one of the organizations that’s leading COVAX, told Organization Insider in July.
World Health Company Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The United States also needs the global community, according to experts. Choosing out of COVAX is a risky gamble, considering that it could restrict the United States’s access to vaccine candidates developed by other nations and manufacturing facilities abroad.
Even if the United States makes an effective vaccine on its own, some professionals state that by avoiding of COVAX, the country may hurt its economy by not assisting other nations get their populations correctly safeguarded and back to work.
” It’s a double-edged sword,” Jennifer Huang Bouey, an epidemiologist and senior policy researcher at Rand Corp., told Service Insider. “It injures the US, and it likewise probably hurts COVAX.”
The United States is betting on less-established kinds of vaccines
Worldwide, designers are evaluating a minimum of eight types of vaccines The most established kind involves injections of weakened or suspended infection to create an immune response.
The two greatest candidates in this conventional location up until now are from the Chinese business Sinopharm and Sinovac. (China also hasn’t signed on to COVAX however gave WHO a “favorable signal” this week, according to Reuters)
With its rejection to take part in COVAX, the US “essentially let go of the most traditional, the majority of fully grown technology– that’s a risk,” Bouey stated.
The United States’s 2 strongest prospects so far, from Moderna and the Pfizer-BioNTech partnership, are mRNA vaccines, a type that’s never before been approved by the Food and Drug Administration

If effective, mRNA vaccines could be much easier to produce and more efficient than standard ones, given that they might trigger a stronger immune action and do not need to be bred the way traditional vaccines do. But that’s a big if– there’s a possibility the mRNA vaccines will set off inadequate immune actions or come with hazardous adverse effects.
The US might lose access to worldwide production
A huge difficulty authorities around the globe are still tackling is how to produce and distribute a vaccine after it’s proved safe and reliable. The Union for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation– a structure that funds vaccine research study and is among COVAX’s primary backers– revealed in June that it had actually determined enough vaccine manufacturers to produce 4 billion doses in a year.
The United States’s rejection to take part in COVAX implies it might lack access to that facilities, though the country is working to expand its own manufacturing capability.
” It’s really simply United States versus all these other nations,” Bouey stated.
Fujifilm got a $265 million grant to help broaden United States vaccine-manufacturing capacity.
Reuters.
The US’s absence might restrict COVAX’s manufacturing capability as well– the initiative could distribute more vaccines if it had early access to effective prospects and facilities in the US.
The United States’s economy and track record might suffer
Even if the United States produces a successful vaccine, it might suffer economic effects if it hoards all the dosages, or if its supply chain can’t successfully disperse additional dosages worldwide.
” We will continue to suffer the financial effects– lost United States tasks– if the pandemic rages unabated in allies and trading partners,” Thomas Bollyky, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, informed The Washington Post
” Even during the height of the Cold War, US and Soviet Union scientists were working collaboratively with WHO on getting rid of polio in 1950 s to 1980 s,” she stated.
Hilary Brueck contributed reporting.

Friends, read this below. Research. Look deeper. Please know that you get to make your own choices. We need to support one another in love and grace.
Not in fear. Never in fear.
(happy to send anyone who wants it a google doc full of research for you to start digging in for yourself.)
///////
ROBERT KENNEDY JR TRANSCRIPT from May 2019 speech in NYC:
Thank you for coming on such a rainy day. The pharmacist walked by and I don’t blame him for being angry because this is the biggest threat to their business plan. The vaccine industry when I was a boy was $270 million dollars. I got three vaccines and was fully compliant. Today it is a $50 billion dollar industry and 20% of pharmaceutical revenues.
But that’s at the front end.
At the back end are all the chronic diseases that the FDA says they think are associated with vaccines. A hundred and fifty diseases are now listed on the product inserts. The reason they’re listed on the product inserts is because the FDA has made the determination that these injuries are more likely caused by a vaccine.
This is the chronic disease epidemic.
I have six kids. I had eleven brothers and sisters. I had over fifty cousins. I didn’t know a single person with a peanut allergy. Why do all my kids have food allergies? Because they were born after 1989.
If you were born prior to 1989, your chance of having a chronic disease, according to HHS (Health and Human Services) is 12.8%. If you are born after 1989, your chance of having a chronic disease is 54%. And the FDA has said to the vaccine companies, you need to take a look at these diseases.
And what are these diseases?
They’re the neuro-developmental diseases, ADD, ADHD, language delays, speech delays, tics, Tourette Syndrome, ASD, and autism. The auto-immune disorders, Guillan-Barre, multiple sclerosis, juvenile diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis. The anyphylactic diseases, food allergies, rhinitis, asthma, and eczema. All of these exploded in 1989.
Congress ordered the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to find out which year this disease epidemic started. And EPA did that study. They said it started in 1989. There are a lot of culprits. Many new things. We have cell-phones. We have PFOA (perfluorooctanic acid). We have ultra-sound. We have glyphosate. We have many other things. Our kids are swimming in a toxic soup.
We’re not saying all of those illnesses came from vaccines. But there is no intervention that is so exquisite and precisely timed as what happened when we went in 1989 and changed that vaccine schedule and raised the levels of aluminum and mercury, tripled and quintupled them. We went from the 3 vaccines that I had, to the 72 my kids had, and to the 75 that kids are going to get next year. And there are 273 new vaccines in the pipeline.
I went in and met with Adam Schiff. I’ve been a democrat all my life. What’s happening in the democratic party disturbs me greatly. But I was astonished when one of the leading democrats in our country, Adam Schiff, went to the internet titans, to Facebook, to Google, which has a $668 million dollar partnership with GlaxoSmithKline, the biggest vaccine maker in the world. They make drugs and mine your personal data so they can sell you more drugs. Schiff went to Pintrest, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, all of them, and told them they need to start censoring information and complaints about a pharmaceutical product.
I said to Adam Schiff, “You know these are greedy companies. You know they’re homicidal.” Any democrat will tell you that. The four companies that produce all 72 vaccines that are mandated for American children, every one of them is a convicted felon. Since 2009, those four companies collectively have paid $35 billion dollars in criminal penalties and damages and fines for defrauding regulators, for falsifying science, for bribing doctors, for lying to the public, and for killing lots and lots of people.
Vioxx, a drug made by Merck, they knew it would cause heart attacks. They sold it as a headache pill. They didn’t tell people, you won’t have a headache, but you might have a heart attack. Of course, if they had, not too many people would have bought it.
So, they decided to keep it a secret. They killed a hundred and twenty thousand people minimum, probably five hundred thousand people. So I said to Adam Schiff, “What kind of cognitive dissonance does it require, to believe that this company, which is lying and cheating and killing with every other pharmaceutical product it makes, has found Jesus when it comes to vaccines?” Everybody knows you can’t sue a vaccine company. That’s why we had this gold rush explosion of vaccines beginning in 1989.
They have no incentive to make their product safe, other than their moral scruples, of which we know they have none.
What most people don’t know is that vaccine companies have an even more important exemption.
They are exempt from safety testing their products. It is the only medical product. The reason is that it’s an artifact of the CDC’s legacy as the public health service, which was a quasi-military agency. The CDC took it over in the late 1970s. That’s why people at the CDC often have military rank, like the Surgeon General. The vaccine program was initiated as a national security defense against biological attack. Because of that they wanted to make sure we could get vaccines out to the public very quickly if Russia sent anthrax over here. They wanted to remove all the regulatory impediments that would prevent the quick deployment of that product.
So, they said, if we call it a medicine, all medicines have to be safety-tested under the law, double-blind placebo, and follow-up for five years. They said, we can’t do that. We’re going to call them something different. We’re going to call them “biologics.” And we’re going to make it so they don’t have to be tested at all.
And when the industry exploded in 1989, they took advantage of this loophole when they brought all of these new products to market. Not one of the 72 vaccines on the schedule mandated for our children, have been tested with a placebo.
That means that nobody can scientifically tell you what the risk profile of that product is. Nobody can tell you that product is going to save more lives than it will take. There is no scientific basis whatsoever. How can we as a society, a government, a democratic party, be mandating products for our children when we cannot tell what the risk is of that product?
Now, all of the vaccines on the schedule, and all medical products, are required to list whatever safety testing they do. Not one of these has ever used a placebo. But some of them do safety testing anyway, like the polio vaccine, for maybe 48 hours.
The hepatitis B vaccine that is given to every child in this country on the day it’s born, they observe for 5 days. That means if a child dies on day 6, it never happened. If a child has a seizure on day 6, it never happened. If the baby gets food allergies and is diagnosed three years later, or autism or an auto-immune disease, it never happened. That way they can say it’s safe.
The weird thing is that there was one vaccine, the MMR vaccine, that all of this hoopla is about, it’s the only vaccine that has no safety testing listed on the insert. And for many years, Del [Bigtree] and I have been saying, “that’s weird.” Do any exist? What happened? So we sued HHS. We said, “where is it?”
Three weeks ago they gave us the safety testing. There were 800 kids. Normally you have 20,000 kids or subjects in one of these. There were 800 kids in 8 different categories. For a drug they are going to give to billions of people. The testing lasted only 42 days.
But 50% of the kids who were involved in that study had gastro-intestinal illnesses, serious ones, some of them for the full 42 days. 50% had respiratory illnesses, some of them for 42 days. This is a product that is worse, according to its own record, than the illness it’s pretending to prevent.
Maybe there are people here who are anti-vaxx. I am not anti-vaxx. I just want safe vaccines. And I want robust science. And I want transparency in government. And I want independent regulators who are not owned by pharma.
At the FDA, which is supposed to protect us against these products, receives 75% of its budget from the industry. The World Health Organization (WHO) receives 50% of its budget from pharma. The CDC is a pharmaceutical company. It has about $5 billion dollars a year that it buys and sells vaccines. And individuals within HHS who worked on those vaccines at taxpayer expense, if they worked on them, they’re allowed to get royalty payments.
Every vial of Gardasil that’s sold, there are people within HHS, high-level individuals, who are collecting $150,000 a year in royalties. And HHS and NIH own part of that patent and are collecting money every year. These are not regulatory agencies. They are appendages of the industry.
They don’t want to hear about this. The reason they call you and me anti-vaxx is it’s a way of shutting us up. So they don’t have to debate these very serious issues about vaccine safety. So they don’t have to debate the science.
And they’ve bought off the press. They put $25 billion dollars a year into advertising. We’re the only nation in the world, other than New Zealand, that allows pharmaceutical advertising on television. And they’ve been able to buy the press in this country. They’re not only selling ads for their drugs, but they’re also dictating content.
Now they’re telling us they’re going to censor Facebook because they want to get rid of misinformation about vaccines. We’re just talking about science. We’re giving them peer-review. You’ll never hear peer-review from a vaccine proponent. What you’ll hear are appeals to authority. What does that mean? It means that vaccines are safe because CDC or WHO says they’re safe.
But do you know who the ultimate authority is? It’s the Institute of Medicine. That is why Congress named the Institute of Medicine to be the ultimate authority on vaccine safety. And do you know what the Institute of Medicine says? It says there are 150 diseases that they think are caused by vaccines, and the CDC has been directed to study them. They said that in 1994. CDC refused. They said it again in 1998. CDC refused. They said it again in 2011. They say it every year.
The Institute of Medicine says we have no idea whether these vaccines are causing this huge chronic disease epidemic. That is the ultimate authority. Not WHO. Not CDC. And the only way they can deal with these arguments is by shutting us up.
The vaccine misinformation is not coming from us, it’s coming from them. How many of you have heard the networks report that 80,000 people died of flu last year? You know what CDC’s data said? And CDC told the networks that number. I don’t blame them, but the press is supposed to check. My father told me, people in power lie. And you’re supposed to check on it. You know what CDC’s own data said? 2300 people died of flu, not 80,000.
How many of you have heard that the death rate for measles is 1 in 1,000? CDC told them that. CDC’s own data says that it’s 1 in 10,000 people and 1 in 500,000 Americans. That’s what CDC’s data says. But that’s not what you’ll hear from the networks.
Any of you who watched NBC the other night saw Lester Holt. All of the news shows have become advertisements and they’re all part of this orchestrated frenzy that we’re terrified of measles. And we’ve got to get this vaccine and we’ve got to pass this mandate. Lester Holt is sponsored by Merck, which makes the vaccine. Lester Holt showed a frightening picture on his show of a baby that was afflicted by these terrible measles bumps. It turns out it was fake. He had to fake it. He’s never apologized. NBC never apologized. That is misinformation.
And Lester Holt is sitting there saying we’ve got to shut down this misinformation about vaccines while he is the primary promoter of that information.
This industry has been able to disable all of the institutions of our democracy that stand between a greedy corporation and a vulnerable child. As Del pointed out, they are the biggest lobbyists on Capitol Hill. There are more lobbyists than Congressmen and Senators combined. They give double the amount of oil and gas. They give four times what defense and aerospace give.
They own Congress. That’s why Congress will not subpoena Bill Thompson, the chief scientist at CDC who says they’ve been lying to us for all these years. They’ve been destroying data. And they won’t call him in and question him.
They have been able to disable the regulatory agencies through capture. Those agencies are now sock-puppets for the industries they’re supposed to regulate. They’ve been able to neutralize the lawyers by making it illegal to sue a vaccine company. The lawyers and the courts are gone.
They’ve been able to neutralize the press, all press scrutiny. Now, they’re neutralizing the internet. They’re shutting us down so we cannot speak. So that nobody has to listen to the truth. So that nobody has to read the peer-reviewed science. So nobody has to listen to the questions.
The last thing standing between the corporation and that little baby is the mom and the dad. And this greedy industry cannot stand that mother who is going to stop her little baby from being vaccinated. From buying their product and then being hooked for the rest of their lives on Adderal, Epi-Pens, Ritalin, the anti-seizure medications, and the Prozac they get at the back end of this insane industry.
And what do the democrats say? Well, there is no such thing as vaccine injury. It’s all an illusion and these women are hysterical. And they’re so easily deluded. But these women know what happened to their child.
I would say it’s time for the Democratic party to start listening to women. And what happened to the central, fundamental plank of the democratic party? My body, my choice!
And why is our party advocating censorship?
And why is our party in bed with one of the dirtiest industries in the history of mankind?
We need to take our children back. We need to take our country back. We need to take our democracy back. Thank you.

Inside ‘vaccine court,’ where the US government pays millions to people who say they were harmed by vaccines, Defence Online

Vaccine court is housed in a red brick building, two minutes from the White House.

United States Courts/YouTube
Vaccine court in Washington, DC was established in 1988 after a series of unfounded lawsuits threatened to erase the national supply of diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus (DPT) vaccines.
The court is a no-fault system where injured people can have their cases heard, and everyone’s attorneys are compensated through a special fund.
A 75¢ cent tax on every childhood vaccine and flu shot in the US pays for the program.
But it’s extremely difficult to prove that vaccines cause harm. Most successful verdicts in vaccine court are awarded for bad needle jabs that prompt shoulder injuries.
Over 80% of vaccine court cases settle without making any scientific conclusions about what caused the injury.
Just a two minute walk from the front door of the White House, on the eastern edge of leafy Lafayette Square, sits the Howard T. Markey National Courts Building, a 9-story red brick structure with dark, narrow windows. Inside, federal judges oversee a mix of cases and appeals involving patent disputes, veteran benefits, oil spills, private claims against the government, and much more.
Eight of those judges belong to the Office of Special Masters, a small unit within the much larger Court of Federal Claims. For more than two decades, these legal minds have applied a meticulous understanding of medical science – including neurology, rheumatology, and pediatrics – to one of the most contentious corners of the legal system.
This is vaccine court, whose staff adjudicate cases brought by individuals who claim vaccines harmed them or their children. The tribunal administers the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, which Congress established in 1986 and funded with a 75¢ tax on every childhood vaccine sold in America. Since its inception in 1988, the program has awarded more than $4 billion in damages.
Every year, the court’s special masters, who are appointed by the president and approved by the US Senate, receive around 500 petitions for monetary damages. Much like a lawsuit, each petition is a legal accusation from someone who says they’ve been hurt by a prick in the arm or jab in the thigh. For each one, the special masters must answer a medically tricky, but legally straightforward, question: Was the plaintiff injured by a vaccine?

In 2016, vaccine court awarded $230 million to patients who said they were wronged by vaccines, and paid over $22 million in attorney fees. (The courts pays those fees even when the petitioner loses their case – a significant deviation from standard practice that experts believe is unique to vaccine court.) The system has existed for more than three decades to serve a single, and very important, purpose: keeping life-saving vaccines on the market.
“It is a no-fault compensation program designed to encourage vaccination, encourage vaccine manufacturers to continue making vaccines, and to compensate the small but significant number of people who are injured by a vaccine they receive,” the former head of vaccine court, Chief Special Master Denise Vowell, explained in a 2015 video.
This doesn’t mean that vaccines are inherently dangerous. More than 80% of the claims the court receives are settled, without concluding that a vaccine caused any injury at all. But the existence of the court, and the history behind its creation, illustrate the complicated realities of modern medicine – and the consequences, positive and negative, of its efforts to eradicate disease.
Costly litigation laid the groundwork for vaccine court
The origins of vaccine court can be traced to the 1970s, when parents began filing lawsuits against doctors and vaccine manufacturers over allegations that vaccines for diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus (DPT shots) posed a dangerous risk to children. One of the first lawsuits to succeed was brought by the parents of Kevin Toner, after he was vaccinated in Idaho in 1979.
“Kevin Toner, then a three-month-old infant, was vaccinated with Tri-Immunol”- a DPT vaccine since discontinued in the US – “and suffered a rare condition of the spine known as transverse myelitis, the cause of which is unknown,” court documents state. “As a result of the affliction, Kevin is permanently paralyzed from the waist down.”
Family lawyer Kenneth Pedersen remembers that as a young attorney in his early 30s at the time, winning the case helped launch his own budding legal career. “The argument was that the vaccine could’ve been safer,” he told Defence Online. “It was a scary proposition, taking on a huge drug company. We had to prove that’s how he got hurt.”
A jury of six Idahoans awarded the Toners $1.3 million in their case against vaccine maker Lederle Laboratories. Toner later graduated from college and settled down in Salt Lake City with his wife and their children. He currently works for a major bank.
The Toner verdict arrived amid a national debate over the safety of DPT shots. Shortly before the family’s case made its way through the court system, a documentary called “Vaccine Roulette” aired on NBC, scaring parents across the country about the dangers of the vaccine.
The American Academy of Pediatrics denounced NBC, saying the documentary’s “total lack of balance of scientific fact [caused] extraordinary anguish and perhaps irreparable harm to the health and welfare of the nation’s children.”
Still, the number of DPT injury lawsuits skyrocketed, from what had been one single case in 1978 to 73 lawsuits in 1984. The cases got more expensive, too. As Dr. Alan Hinman noted in a 1986 JAMA Pediatrics article, “the average amount claimed per suit has risen from $10 million to $46.5 million.”
Pedersen believes it would have become much harder to win tort cases like Toner’s once more scientific literature started coming out about vaccine safety. “The medical literature kind of turned on us,” he said.
Vaccines are extremely safe, and the evidence continues to grow stronger
A comprehensive review of DPT shot safety, published in 1991, determined the shots do not cause autism or other dangerous and chronic conditions like attention deficit disorder or juvenile diabetes. The study found a few notable exceptions where children developed allergies or inflammation, and a different study documented a handful of instances in which children were diagnosed with neurological damage after receiving a pertussis shot. But such instances are extremely rare, and it’s very difficult to prove the shot was the culprit.
These anomalies are best understood in the broader context of vaccine safety. The vast majority of vaccines work as promised and do not cause any serious or permanent side effects. As the 1991 paper put it, “next to clean water, no single intervention has had so profound an effect on reducing mortality from childhood diseases as has the widespread introduction of vaccines.”
Nevertheless, the financial impact of the DPT lawsuits in the 1970s and 80s caused a nationwide vaccine shortage and threatened to shutter the manufacture of DPT vaccines altogether. Before long, doctors, public health experts, and drug companies began lobbying the federal government to do something about the rising costs of litigation.
Jonas Salk, who invented the first polio vaccine, was one of the experts who testified before lawmakers. Before his vaccine went into widespread use in 1955, polio outbreaks caused more than 15,000 cases of paralysis in the US every year.
“The live polio virus vaccine now in general use causes more than the two cases per year of vaccine-associated paralysis,” Salk told lawmakers. “Such cases occur to the extent of about 6 to 10 cases per year.” He encouraged vaccine-makers to focus on administering more of the killed polio virus vaccine, which did not cause any paralysis.
“In the case of vaccine-associated injuries, it is clear that it would be far more desirable to avoid them,” Salk said. “In the event that compensation is necessary, it seems to me that the kind of legislation that you are proposing would be desirable.”
Two years later, the House passed the bipartisan National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986. Sen. Edward Kennedy later folded its provisions into a larger health bill already moving through the upper chamber. President Ronald Reagan signed the amended bill into law that November, despite his “mixed feelings” and “reservations” about how the plan might compensate people who wouldn’t need to prove any wrongdoing on the part of vaccine-makers.
That made the job of defending lawyers like Pederson much easier. “They got rid of the causation thing, and you didn’t have to prove fault,” he said. “Overall, I think a lot of people got compensation who wouldn’t have … Congress responded ‘let’s not go to court, let’s take care of these kids.’”
Today, the special masters hear complaints about alleged injuries from 15 of the most common childhood vaccines, plus the flu shot. “It absorbs vaccine injury controversies and keeps them from becoming lawsuits that could result in large damage awards from juries, which could threaten production and availability of vaccines,” legal expert Anna Kirkland, author of “Vaccine Court: The Law and Politics of Injury,” told Defence Online in an email.
Vaccine court exists, in part, to address the fact that research and lawsuits move at different speeds. “We know that the pace of science and publishing is often slower than the pace of litigation,” Kirkland said. “Some of those claims could have become massive class-action lawsuits that could have caused manufacturers to exit the vaccine market.”
Legitimate scientific studies have never shown a link between vaccines and autism. But it takes a long time to gather and analyze the amount of data those studies require. The latest study refuting the vaccine-autism link, published by the Annals of Internal Medicine in early March, was based on the medical histories of more than 650,000 Danish children collected over a period of 14 years.
At the same time, scientific authority can be exploited by bad actors. The first peer-reviewed paper to indicate a connection between vaccines and autism, published by the medical journal The Lancet in 1998, turned out to be a fraudulent study whose principal author fudged the underlying data.
Yet it wasn’t until 2010 that The Lancet completely retracted the paper, after the journalist Brian Deer published a lengthy exposé. In the twelve intervening years, the study sent vaccination rates plunging in the U.S. and U.K., and provided a fertile ground for vaccine-related conspiracy theories.
This dynamic occasionally extends to the vaccine court itself. Anti-vaccine groups have said its very existence shows vaccines are hazardous, and offered the $4 billion in court payouts as proof of widespread harm – even though the majority of the money was awarded in settlements where the court did not determine the precise cause of the plaintiff’s injury. The court’s relative obscurity, and the understandable difficulty of parsing the dense legal and medical jargon of its proceedings, likely contribute to the inaccurate perception that the federal government considers vaccines a major risk.
News coverage about vaccines hasn’t always helped, either. In 1994, the Atlanta Constitution, the New York Times, and the Associated Press all reported that Miss America had gone deaf because of a bad reaction to a DPT shot. It took over a week for the Times to correct the record, pointing out that pageant queen Heather Whitestone was deaf from a case of meningitis, something (ironically) we now have a vaccine for.
Drug companies might not make vaccines if they had to deal with injury lawsuits themselves
Vaccines are not the most profitable things that drug makers can manufacture: estimates suggest it can cost from $135 to $500 million to develop a vaccine, and it takes anywhere from months (in the case of an annual flu vaccine) to well over a decade to perfect a vaccine formula. When it’s all over, most vaccines are administered just once or twice, providing a lifetime of protection from debilitating and deadly diseases at a typical price of around $30 per dose (without insurance).
Not vaccinating can be deadly. It can also be costly. One unvaccinated six year old in Oregon recently got tetanus when he cut himself while playing on a farm and had to be airlifted to the hospital. His final medical bill totaled near $1 million. Tetanus vaccines, on the other hand, typically cost less than $30 (without any insurance), and have been around for nearly 100 years.

Vaccines are meant to put our bodies on alert by triggering immune reactions to weakened and killed versions of the diseases they protect against. But in extremely rare cases, people can develop allergic reactions or auto-immune responses to vaccines that are dangerous. Guillain-Barré syndrome is a rare but temporary disorder that prompts the immune system to attack the nervous system, resulting in anything from mild to life-threatening paralysis. In rare cases, a flu shot can increase a person’s risk of developing GBS, upping a person’s odds of developing the syndrome by 1 in 100,000.
One such case was that of Wilma Gundy from Colorado. She told Congress that she was vaccinated for swine flu on November 26, 1976. “Three weeks later,” she said in her testimony, “my feet, legs, arms, hands and the left side of my f1ce and tongue began to turn numb. I felt as if I had been injected with Novocaine. Besides the numbness, I felt extremely exhausted and weak.”
So far this month, the court has decided five different Guillain-Barré cases, all related to the flu vaccine. One was dismissed for insufficient proof, and the other four received lump sum payments in a range from $150,150.58 to $255,829.99. The highest award the court ever gives out for any kind of pain and suffering, including death, is $250,000, but this doesn’t include expenses and lost earnings, which means the highest total compensation vaccine court has ever given out amounts to $9.1 million.
The most common reason people go to vaccine court: because someone pricked them the wrong way

Most legitimate vaccine cases the federal court sees aren’t about the extremely minimal risks of vaccines. The vast majority are prompted by people who’ve been jabbed the wrong way with a needle. The court calls this a Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration (SIRVA), and these claims account for half of all cases vaccine court sees.
More dubious claims stem from fears that vaccines cause autism – which, to be clear, is false – or result from people who’ve been injured by something other than a vaccine coming forward to claim cash.
“They’re hard cases to deal with because you are dealing with people who are almost 100% of the time undeniably injured, the issue is just what caused that injury,” Vowell said.
Recently, the court has started cracking down on some of the most egregious complaints. Take autism, for example. Last year, in a decision rejecting an autism-related petition originally filed in 2002, Special Master Brian Corcoran argued that “it is no longer reasonable for Program attorneys to bring such claims. If they do so, they certainly should not expect compensation for work performed on them.”
“This matter has required nearly fifteen years to resolve,” Corcoran explained. “In that time, no non-Table claims asserting autism as a vaccine injury have succeeded. Absent a shocking and unanticipated scientific research result that upends what is presently understood about the lack of a relationship between vaccines and autism, none are likely to in the future.”
Kirkland says the vaccine court continues to fill a vital role: providing both people and vaccine makers with an extra layer of security in a teetering and perilously expensive health care system.
“We otherwise do so little for people with disabilities and those without a safety net for injuries and healthcare costs,” Kirkland said. She believes that vaccine court wouldn’t be needed if the US had a better health care system, because people with disabilities and injuries would simply receive the care they need, regardless of what caused their injuries in the first place.
“Vaccine court payments,” she said, “are an unusual point of generosity in our otherwise very pinched and cruel system.”

Do you think vaccinations cause DID? What do you think about it?
Wow...well this came out of left field. I didn’t even know anyone thought this way.
No, I absolutely do not in any way believe vaccinations have any form of correlation with the development of DID or any other mental health conditions.
What do I think about it? I think a lot of things. I won’t lie, when I was pregnant with my son and for some time after I gave birth I was anti-vax. I really have no excuse as to why I felt that way. IDK if it was being partially surrounded by an anti-vax community and subscribing to their (mis)information, but either way, that was all on me. I’m happy that not vaccinating my son for almost the entire first year of his life didn’t face any repercussions.
Now, my thoughts on it in now way are aimed towards people who medically cannot receive vaccinations. That is a valid reason to not vaccinate.
Anyone else, though...really it’s just willful ignorance. There is not one single backed or credible study that shows that vaccinations are bad. In fact, the opposite. The only one I am wary of is the HPV vaccine since it has links to infertility. I do believe there should be a vaccine for it, though I believe that it needs to be taken off the market and reformulated.
I think that being anti-vax is only a perceived luxury of those with privilege in first world nations. Unfortunately, those who believe they have this luxury are causing harm to the people around them as multiple measles outbreaks have been directly linked to the anti-vax movement. Herd immunity works if the majority of the population is vaccinated, and the concept of herd immunity is to protect those select few who CANNOT be vaccinated, not those who don’t want to because they wilfully ignore how vaccines work and what the vast benefits of them are. I challenge these people to go live in africa for a time and tell them that vaccinations are bad.
The majority of people whom I’ve met who are anti-vax use the debunked and fake study that vaccines cause autism as their argument for not vaccinating. I have an autistic daughter, and more than before I cannot wrap my mind around why this is even an argument if vaccines even DID cause autism (which they don’t). I’d rather my child be autistic than have polio and have to live in an iron lung.
And really, if your argument for not vaccinating your child is because of your fear of them spontaneously developing autism, then your problem really lies with autism and not vaccinations.
Vaccines prevent deadly illnesses. Autism is not deadly. Autism isn’t even “bad”. Yes, some people who are severely on the spectrum are unable to care for themselves as adults...however so are many people with schizophrenia or any other mental health condition. This doesn’t make the illness “bad” to any degree.
Autism, at least from my opinion, may have its short comings, however there are potential benefits that people like myself couldn’t develop if we put our every effort in to it.
My daughter is on the spectrum. Before they got rid of the Asperger diagnosis and made it autism spectrum disorder, she was considered to have aspergers. She has social and emotional deficits. Over the years we have worked with her to circumvent these deficits and use her autism as a benefit in social and emotional situations. So yes, there were deficits which she was able to learn how to cope with. Really, we all have some sort of deficit, so I don’t see how it’s such a huge problem. On the other hand of it all, she is fucking BRILLIANT. She has never needed help with her homework. She absorbs academic information like a sponge. She views and has a respect for nature in a way I have never seen. She sees the world much, much differently than we do and it is absolutely beautiful. So why would I want to “fix” her autism or wish she didn’t have it/associate it with vaccines? We need people in the world who see things differently than the mass populous.
So, if the argument for not vaccinating would be autism, stop looking at vaccinations and start looking at your prejudice.
However, in regards to your original question, there is absolutely no reason to speculate that vaccinations cause Dissociative Identity Disorder. DID is 100% based in chronic childhood abuse and/or neglect. So unless those abusing/neglecting children are doing so because vaccinations caused them to...then no, there is not one shred of correlation between the two.
I’m still extremely confused as to why this was even asked.

Scientifically Tested Olive Leaf Herb Is Known To Kill Every Virus And Germ Known To Man
[ad_1]
What is the worst case scenario for the bird flu or just how bad could it get? A question I have always wanted the answer to. Well history is always the best teacher and we have an excellent historical teacher from 1918. The answer there is the bird flu of 1918, and that teacher is foreboding. Called the aquatic bird flu that actually started in China (sound familiar) then somehow got into Kansas not Europe. Isn't that interesting? It started among US Cavalry horses then moved to American troopers assigned to those mounts, stationed in Kansas. These Cavalry soldiers were shipped to the battle fields of Europe to take part in the fighting. Some of those soldiers arrived infected with the virus. This flu circulated throughout the densely packed cities of Europe then made its way back to America and did the same there. In a little over a years time it had run its course and 40 to 50 million people were dead.
In 1918 the big cities like London had a million people. Today our mega cities have 10 plus million people and a very fast transport system. Any new bird flu virus can travel in infected people across the world in a matter of days.
Why can't modern medicine help us?
Until the bird flu virus of today mutates to its human infecting form, no scientific steps can be taken to create a serum. Only then can science develop the serum and begin to make large batches. This takes considerable amounts of time and fertile chicken eggs and there are not many around. Under optimal conditions modern science takes at least 6 months, minimum. Remember I just said above, it only takes days to move the virus across the world. So even with all the pharmaceutical companies around the world creating this serum only a small part of the world's population would be protected. I hate to make this sound worse, but the virus can also mutate into other human infecting forms and other serums must be developed.
The Herbal Solution to a Bird Flu Epidemic
You can see how bad it can get and how little modern medicine can do. There has really been little progress since 1918. So what can be done to protect yourself and your family? Here is the answer that has been around for ages. Olive leaf tincture is the answer to bird flu and all other germs and virus infections. But do not take my word for it, here is some of the history of this very powerful herb and what modern science found when they looked at it.
History of Olive Leaf as Herbal Medicine
I personally believe that God was referring to the olive tree in Ezekiel 47:12, God spoke of a tree: "The fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine."
The ancient Egyptians may have been the first to put the olive leaf to practical use. They regarded it as a symbol of heavenly power, and in keeping with that belief, they extracted its oil and used it to mummify their kings. The Egyptians and later cultures also found, and there is documentation, that the olive leaf was a great herbal medicine for the relief of fevers (sounds like viral infections to me).
The knowledge of the medicinal properties of the tree (Olea europaea) date back to the early 1800's where it was used in liquid form as a very effective treatment for malarial infections. According to the 1854 Pharmaceutical Journal of Provincial Transactions, pages 353 and 354(a), the doctors at that time stated that the properties of the tree, Olea europaea, deserved more extensive investigation.
In the early 1900's, a bitter compound was found in the leaves of certain olive trees called "Oleuropein." This compound was determined to be part of the olive tree's powerful disease resistant structure. In 1962, European researchers recorded that oleuropein had the ability to lower blood pressure in animals, increase blood flow in the coronary arteries, relieve arrhythmias and prevent intestinal muscle spasms. A Dutch researcher found the chemical responsible for olive leafs healing power was elenolic acid which has strong antiviral, bacterial and antiparasitic properties.
Modern Medicine Finds That Olive Leaf is a Powerful Medicine
In the late 60's and early 70's, The Upjohn Companies' test studies were published by The American Society for Microbiology in regards to a new multifunctional monoterpene which they had isolated from various parts of the olive tree. The compound was called calcium elenolate, a crystalline salt form of elenolic acid. When they tested this compound it was found to be virucidal against all viruses for which it was tested. The compound acted effectively at low concentrations without any harmful influence on host cell mechanisms. It was also found to be extremely safe and nontoxic, even at high doses. While it worked extremely well in-vitro, it was unsuccessful in-vitro. When injected into the blood stream, the compound bound quickly to the blood serum protein and rendered itself ineffective. They were unable to overcome this problem and terminated their research. During this same period, other companies had interest in the compound and performed various tests, but also lost interest. Then in 1990, interest was renewed and the process of bringing the remarkable product Olive Leaf Extract to market began.
A safety study on calcium elenolate was laboratory tested with animals and published by The Upjohn Company in 1970. The study concluded that even in doses several hundred times higher than recommended, no toxic or other adverse side effects appeared..
Recent Australian studies show that liquid olive leaf extract made from fresh olive leaves has up to 40 times more antioxidants than even the very best extra virgin olive oils. This same fresh Olive Leaf Extract also has 5 times more antioxidant power than Vitamin C, 28 times more antioxidant power than Noni juices and 6 times more than Goji juices.
The Power of Olive Leaves
Effective against fever and helpful for nervous tension; great immune booster and viral/bacterial killer. Researchers credit a number of unique properties possessed by the olive leaf compound for the broad killing power: an ability to interfere with critical amino acid production essential for viruses, an ability to contain viral infection and/or spread by inactivating viruses or by preventing virus shedding, budding or assembly at the cell membrane, and the ability to directly penetrate infected cells and stop viral replication in the case of retroviruses. It is able to neutralize the production of reverse transcriptase and protease (an enzyme found in retroviruses that enable the virus to make DNA from viral RNA). These enzymes are essential for a retrovirus, such as HIV, to alter the RNA of a healthy cell. It can stimulate phagocytosis, an immune system response in which immune cells ingest harmful microorganisms and foreign matter.
Summary of conditions for which olive leaf extract acts as a microbial and anti-viral agent
AIDS Amoebiasis Anthrax Athlete's Foot Bladder Infection Campylobacter Chicken Pox Chlamydia Cholera Common Cold Cold Sore (herpes simplex) Cryptosporidiosis Cytomegalovirus Diarrheal Disease Diphtheria Ear Infection Ebola Sudan Virus E. Coli Epstein-Barr Virus Flu (influenza) Gastric Ulcers (from H. Pylori) Genital Herpes/Warts Giardia Gonorrhea Group B Strep Hantavirus Hepatitis A, B, C Herpes Zoster (shingles) Lyme Disease Malaria Measles Meningitis (bacterial) Meningitis (viral) Mononucleosis Pinworms Pneumonia (bacterial) Pneumonia (viral) Polio Pork Tapeworm Rabies Rheumatic Fever Ringworm Retrovirus infection Roundworm Rotavirus Infection RSV Staphylococcal Food Poisoning Strep Throat Syphilis Tuberculosis Thrush Toxic Shock Syndrome Trichinosis Typhoid Fever Urinary Tract Infections Vaginal Yeast Infections
Die-Off Syndrome
There are no negative side effects with Olive leaf extract but it does have a healthy side effect called the Herxheimer or "Die-Off" effect. Here is what takes place during a die-off effect. In the body there are microbes or viruses that somehow manage to evade the body's immune system. Upon exposure to olive leaf tincture these microbes and viruses are destroyed which is a good thing for the person. After the microbe virus death, their cell-wall proteins are absorbed through the weakened mucous membrane, which surrounds them. The body recognizes these as toxins and begins its natural processes to get rid of them. If present in too large of numbers for the eliminative system to handle, the individual may develop symptoms that include headaches, swelling in the mouth, throat, sinuses, and lymphatic's, rashes, fatigue, diarrhea, muscle/joint achiness, or other flu-like symptoms. The severity will vary from person to person, depending on the extent of their condition, the state of their immune and eliminatory systems, and how much olive leaf extract is being consumed.
The die off effect is desirable as it indicates that the body is being cleared of these hazardous microbes and viruses. Anyone who experiences these unpleasant effects generally feels fabulously well afterwards many times better than ever before.
If you feel the effects and you would like to minimize them, there are some easy things you can do. Many physicians recommend that an individual consume plenty of water in between usages of the product. Water keeps the lymphatic system and the kidneys functioning properly and more capable of handling the excess toxins. Another way to reduce the effects is to cut back on the dose of tincture that you are taking or go off it completely for a day or two before slowly increasing the dose once again. It can take anywhere from a couple of days to a week to completely rid the body of the excess toxins.
Why Olive Leaf Tincture?
A good question, and the answer makes common sense. Tinctures are made from the ground herb combined with pure grain alcohol. The alcohol acts as a solvent extracting the active healing ingredients out of the herb. The alcohol is then pressed out of the herb, all the valuable active herbal ingredients are now in the alcohol, the herbal pulp is discarded. This process can be done with one or a combination of herbs. In an alcohol tincture form the herb(s) are easily assimilated by the body to immediately begin the healing process such as killing germs or viruses.
Dosage
There is no official dose for taking olive leaf tincture even though it has been around for thousands of years of use and testing. The most popular amount for a maintenance dose is 2 droppers full twice daily on an empty stomach before meals. For conditions such as the common cold, flu, sinus infections, and basic respiratory tract infections, the dose is 2 droppers full every 2 hours. For acute infections such as sore throat, swollen glands, fever, etc., the recommendation is 3 droppers full every 2 hours.
Safety of Olive Leaf Tincture
From all indications over the thousands of years of use by professional and nonprofessional people; Olive leaf tincture appears to be an extremely safe supplement that can effectively aid the body in improving immune function and fighting infection by various microbes and viruses. To my knowledge and through my research I have not found one single negative case involving the use of olive leaf tincture.
Shelf Life
Alcohol acts as a preservative and if stored in a cool, dark place, tinctures can last indefinitely. I have herbal tinctures that have lasted 15 years and were just as strong as when I first used them. As I said above, avoid heat, sunlight, and exposure to air, and your tinctures will keep their "just picked" freshness for as long as you own them.
Caution:
Don't take olive leaf with antibiotics as they can be inactivated by olive leaf.
Don't take olive leaf with Warfarin (Coumadin) this drug can cause internal bleeding.
Olive leaf naturally relaxes blood vessels and capillaries which could increase Coumadin's side effect.
