"Marinette, your coping mechanisms aren't healthy. Please, go see a therapist. You don't need to say that you're Ladybug." Said Alya.

And she's not wrong.

Marinette's first response is to push everyone away and isolate herself. It's why Alya, Alix, Rose, Juleka, and Myléne were akumatized as the Gang if Secrets, after Marinette told them that "I don't need friends."

Alya saw Marinette tell Chat Noir that maybe she doesn't need him, when she knows that what she said was a load of bullshit. Marinette loves that cat more than everyone (second only to Adrien), whether she'd admit it or not.

Then she'd try to face it alone. Alone. Even when it's clear she isn't okay, she tries to face it alone.

Her next response is to lie. Not in a selfish and deceiving way, no. She'll lie for others. Heck, she let Adrien believe that the scarf she made him was from his father all because he looked so happy. Marinette's most selfish lie, in Alya's opinion, is her alter ego, but even that isn't for evil intentions. She lies to spare others the pain. Not a good thing, but it's not selfish.

Then, she'd run. Figuratively, but she'd run. From her feelings, from the world. From everyone. She'd just run.

And to top it all off, she'd wear that same warm, kind, and gentle smile everyday, fooling everybody. Making everyone think that she's okay. No one even realizes, Marinette's figurative mask is even more convincing than her mask as Ladybug.

Alya hates seeing her like this.

Marinette is the first real hero she's met, even before she knew about her alter ego.

Of course, she wasn't perfect. She had her flaws, she's made really bad choices in the past, but would make up for it, and she keeps trying to be a better person everyday.

The girl would always be there to help others in every way she can. Everytime, without asking for anything in return.

"Please, Marinette." Alya pleaded. "Just try it."

Alya waits for Marinette's response.

Marinette doesn't say anything.

Because Pomme said that she thinks Dapper's theme song would be Megalo Strike Back, it pulled me back into my "Undertale Phase" and now I'm thinking.

What Undertale instrumental would fit each egg? B/c I honestly I think giving the eggs (yes even the passed ones) each a theme song would be really cool, as well as each q! Character as well.

But for right know I'm just asking for the eggs. So yeah, What Undertale insturmental do you think would fit each egg?

The Great Exchange

“A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Luke 18:18NIV

Salvation— You can’t get to heaven without it. How to obtain salvation is the question asked by this “certain ruler” and many people today. The common thing is— they desire to work for their salvation— anything but believe in the work of the cross and the salvation through Christ’s death, burial, resurrection and blood.

As the “certain ruler” conversed with Jesus, he called Jesus ‘good Master.’ When Jesus told him, only God was good, the “certain ruler” replied by addressing Jesus only as ‘Master.’ Proving he didn’t believe Jesus to be God, but a teacher or prophet. Christianity is the only religion with a Savior, and which recognizes Jesus in His rightful role as the a part of Godhead. Amazingly, all the religions recognize Jesus— like the “certain ruler” did— as a prophet.

Make no mistake— JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD— not a prophet. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” John 14:6ESV. Only the Son is the doorway to God.

Peter repeated this— Acts 4:12NIV “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Always before, I’ve heard salvation described as ‘accepting Jesus into your heart and life as your Lord and Savior.’ That’s only partial truth, salvation is realizing you’ve been accepted and loved by God, in the midst of all your unpleasantness and filth; and believing in Him. You don’t have to ‘clean up your act’ to meet Jesus. Accepted—just as you are. Isn’t that exciting?

Before Christ, God dealt with us through the Law. After thoroughly studying the Law, I can tell you— not breaking the Law is impossible. Only two things aren’t considered breaking a law— breathing and praising God. Everything else breaks God’s laws. Andrew Womack says the law is like glass. Shoot a BB, [little infraction] through it or throw a boulder, [huge infraction]— it’s broken. And someone has to pay for the glass. Salvation is the great exchange— our sinfulness for Christ Jesus’ sinlessness. He pays for it all.

Breaking the Law is called ‘sin.’ Paul declares in Romans 6:23KJV “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Salvation is called “gift of God.” A ‘gift’ is a free, undeserved blessing. Jehovah God didn’t think it was enough to just accept and love us humans. He wanted to give us undeserved gifts— mercy and grace— to erase our filthy sins.

Paul told us how to be saved in Romans 10:9-10ESV “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one BELIEVES and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” (Emphasis mine)

Then Paul proceeds to tell where the faith to believe for salvation comes from, Ephesians 2:8NIV. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, IT IS A GIFT OF GOD—” (Emphasis mine.) Faith is His gift to us as well.

Knowing the how and why of our salvation is very important. When the lie comes to tell us— ‘You have to obey this rule and that rule to be saved,’ we can lean on the foundation of truth in faith. Saying— ‘No devil! I believed in Jesus with the faith God gifted to me. I believe and I’m saved.’ Or you can be a Galatian, falling for the lie and trying to earn your eternal life. It’s your choice. You choose.

LET’S PRAY: Papa God please lead these readers out of bondage and into the truth of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Yup! You can call me Buttercup if that's better. Gosh, this world's me made a pretty big name for himself, huh. If it's going to be permenant, I don't like making myself known to more than a select few monsters, so I'm wondering what's the deal with that guy.

Toriel, maybe Alphys and Mettaton aren't the best choices to bring with us for settling things. *Flowey whispers so the neither person he's talking about can hear.* I don't think they'd be very likeable for most humans.

*now at a normal volume* On the other hand Papyrus, me, and you would be the best team for being convincing! *He looks away with a guilty look as he addresses Kara, fiddling with his petals.* Not that you aren’t pleasant too, Kara, it’s just… you and the rest would get scary and violent too fast. You all can still back us up if a peaceful appproach goes wrong.

The thing about having a soul is it makes me feel horrible with all that guilt. I want to avoid that feeling as much as possible, so let's try the best we can to resolve this before it gets bad.

(Kara) "Of course, I don't care who gets in as long as it's a good team. Papyrus, you, Buttercup, and Clover can go have a speech. Maybe that'll work, and if it gets violent, please tell me."

(Dess) "Maybe..."

(Kara) "No, you're the last person anyone wants to see besides us. Plus, I'm 90% sure Buttercup hates you."

(Dess) "I was going to ask if I could join in if things got rowdy."

(Kara) "Oh, sure." *It was dead silence for 5 seconds.*

(Kara) "First, we'll need a place to put up a stand. Do you have any places where you won't be harassed imminently?"

(Dess) "No."

(Kara) "Well, shit. Just go into the heart of London. You might all get more angry people, but it's the best way to tell who is good."

(Toriel) "I could make my famous butterscotch cinnamon pie."

(Kara) "Bad idea. We need to keep the casualties at a minimum. We're already taking a risk doing this in the first place."

(Toriel) "Wow, they are very well-spoken. You were right, Dess."

(Dess) "*Makes an angry and embarrassed face.* Don't bring that up."

(Kara) "Alright, let's start." *They walk up right next to the stand.*

(Kara) "Okay, you three, this is the most influential part of these monsters' lives. Do whatever you need."

(Random person #1) "Hey, I think those monsters are going to say something. One flower, one with a cowboy hat, and a skeleton with a weird shirt." *People gathered around*

(Kara whispers out of sight so no one can see) "Papyrus, you seem like the nicest. You go first."

(Papyrus) "Hello, humans, you've decided to be aggressive to us. I won't judge. Everyone can change."

(Random person #2) "Are you calling us wrong?"

(Papyrus) "No!"

(Kara) "You're supposed to say yes."

(Papyrus) "I mean, yes, of course it is. I can see great potential for friends all around here. Like this nice kid. What's your name?"

(Kid) "My name is..."

(Kid's Mom) "Shh, don't let his tricks fool you. He's probably trying to get your soul. Maybe he'll kill all of us if given it."

(Papyrus) "Oh no, I'm not that kind of monster. Actually, almost no monster is."

(Random person #2) "Then why did Asgore need 7 souls?"

(Papyrus) "To get across the barier."

(Random person #2) "That's probably just a lie to get more power than he needed."

I can’t do that; which is why I’m asking you to. #also: a bunch of tags are surprised this isn’t ‘shopped #it’s the lighting. backlit by the sun (which is diffused through the water) but also forelit artificially #the artificial light - a flash pack or something - casts a hard shadow under the creatures arm #which normally wouldn’t be possible if backlit by the SUN; you’d see a less-hard/more-fragmented shadow above water #as light sources ‘compete’ in a sense - and since there aren’t any light sources which can outshine the literal sun #it looks a bit weird when the darkest shadow is being cast from any other origin point - which is what’s essentially happening here #I don’t know the mechanics of how light travels through water; but I know the effect is substantial even with relatively short distances #also: it’s been balanced and color corrected by the author of the photo - who made deliberate choices to bring out the full potential #so it’s not like it’s a fresh and untouched export #but the kind of ‘tacked on’ appearance of the creature is a result of the lighting conditions within the image

Tell Them The Truth

“I tell you, No; but unless you repent (change your mind for the better and heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), you will all likewise perish and be lost eternally.” Luke 13:3AMPC

Someone came to Jesus with a ‘did you hear’ message. Whomever the bearer of tidings was, they came not only with the message, but evidently had a question….. ‘Were these people evil to have received this horrible death?’

In verses2-5 Jesus proceeds to tell them, ‘people are going to die. It’s satan’s payoff for serving him. You’ll get the same payoff, if you keep sinning and not turning to the Lord.

Society today is riddled with auto accidents, murders, death by disease-neglect-lack of help. Death is everywhere we look. There’s also sorrow, grief, and pain causing seemingly decent people suffering without relief. We can mourn with those who are mourning. But much kinder to them is whenever possible tell them the truth. Jesus chose to tell those listening to Him— ‘repent. If we don’t repent the same fate awaits everyone who sins— death and hell for eternity.’

I know I’ve been hitting the negative hard lately. It’s become more and more astounding to me as I discover that much of the church-going-Christians don’t believe the Bible is totally true. Some don’t believe in satan being an actual being: in hell being actually a real place: in the fact God will allow people to enter hell by their own choice: in the anti-christ trying to takeover planet earth: nor that God’s love doesn’t supersede and override a person’s choice to sin and not caring about heaven or hell.

Recently a family member— a lady I highly regard and love— lay in the hospital dying, unless she had a miracle. All I could see was, if she didn’t live, she’d end up in hell. Sweet, kind, generous, loving, helpful always didn’t add up to being born again. Often I’d tried to tell her about Jesus, to lead her to salvation. After God so graciously heard my prayer and allowed her to live, I became very up-front-in-the-face — ‘Sweet lady, had you died you would be in hell. God allowed you to live in order to give you another chance to accept Jesus as your Lord.’ I gave her the sinners’ prayer. Her choice for Jesus isn’t an option to me— it’s a necessity.

What will we do when we see war on our soil? We’ve got a Chinese and terrorist army both right here in our land now. This week they were given the right to bear arms as illegal aliens. War is a perfect way to prevent an election.

What will we do when we see people dropping like flies with the disease X? The WHO has already announced it’s going to be a major player in deaths this fall. They ruined one election with a disease.

Wake up. Pray! “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2Chronicles 7:14NIV. When we repent and seek the Lord, He promises to remove the evil consequences from our land. We will be able to speak to the lost in order to not see as many of those we love die, knowing they’re going to a sinners’ hell.

Are the lost important to you? Is this nation important to you? It’s your choice. You choose.

LET’S PRAY: LORD God the world is lost and dying and we’re not caring for the lost, trying to win them as we should. Help us to awake from our apathy, to repent, to pray, and to live with You, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
