There is a healthy way to look at someone as being "your hero". But it shouldn't involve that person having superpowers. Especially when those powers have been shown to be fleeting or unstable. Because if they disappear for good, then what's left? If the reason you love them is gone, what does that mean for your relationship?

For a good counterexample, I think Mike is already Will's hero. But not for some silly reason like being able to fly or move mountains. No, Mike is Will's hero because of who he is as a person, not for what he can do.
