A/N: It’s been an emotional 24ish hours because Taylor Swift gave us 31 fucking new songs and they all hurt so good. Expect some angsty things from me based off some of these songs soon LOL. Side note, this wont be perfect because it’s 1:30 am and I’m feeling feelings. I hope y’all enjoy regardless.

✫ S Coups

Seungcheol walked through the door at 2 am and saw you sitting at the kitchen table with a worn out look on your face. He noticed in front of you, ice cream that had been half melted waiting for you to take another bite. He knew that you were waiting up for Taylor Swifts new album and from what he had heard from you, this potentially would be the saddest album to date. Yes, even more sad than Red. He stood there for a while unsure what to say which made you look up at him.

“Babe… she released a double album. We’ve been clowning a double since 1989 era back in 2014 and she finally did it.”

He raised an eyebrow at this and sat next to you, “well thats good right? Your clowning was finally successful?”

You scoffed before rubbing your mouth and looking him in the eyes, “I mean yeah, but like. It’s so fucking sad. I can’t believe he did this to her.”

Seungcheol just softly smiled while taking the spoon from your hand so he could scoop himself some ice cream as well. He didn’t know much about Taylor lore but he did think she was a talented artist. “Well I got a few hours, show me the album.”

✫ Jeonghan

Jeonghan found your love for Taylor to be precious. So when he found out in February she was releasing a new album he asked if there was anything he could do to help prepare you for the album release.

That’s when you decided to do a Swiftie 101 with Jeonghan and told him all the lore behind whats been going on since the Reputation Era to now. At first he was skeptical at having to need to know that much background information but he learned to love watching you talk about something you cared about so passionately.

When it was time for the album to be released, he was ready. He wrote down questions he had while you both listened to the album because he didn’t want to interrupt your experience of listening to the song for the first time. He held your hand when “So Long London” came on and coo’d when you cried during “loml” while wiping a tear from your eye. He made a mental note to thank Taylor Swift if he ever met her for being able to give his partner and him a bonding experience.

✫Joshua

Hell, Joshua was with you on the couch and clowning with you while watching the Grammys. You were positive Reputation (Taylor’s Version) was going to be announced at the Grammys and tbh Joshua believed your assumptions were right as always.

When Taylor announced her new album instead of Reputation TV, both of your mouths dropped. It was a new era. You both then decided to start planning on spending time with each other that night. He knew he was pushing it just a bit because Seventeens album was coming out the next week but he also knew he wanted to be there for you in case it was emotional. Which, was pretty much a given it was going to be because it was called “The Tortured Poets Department.”

When the day finally came, you both made friendship bracelets and ate some snacks while enjoying the mastery of her pen. You both found the album to be extremely well done.

✫Jun

Jun was not sure what to expect when you had become a bit distant the last few weeks. You were talking to him less and less and it honestly was causing him some concerns. Did he do something wrong? Were you dying? Were you okay?

He decided to do what anyone would do and come over unannounced with flowers and your favorite Take Out. He was not expecting to see you sobbing on the couch with smeared eyeliner and mascara as you were reading the lyrics to a new song off of Taylor’s new album called “The Prophecy.”

You didn’t notice Jun standing there awkward as your heart broke into a million pieces as you thought about how you were before you met Jun. You were so blessed to have him in your life but you just felt sick that Blondie was feeling that way. Once the song ended you finally saw Jun and started crying harder and that’s when it hit him.

Album release day.

Similar thing had happened after Midnights dropped and you heard “You’re On Your Own Kid.” He then brought over your food and listened while you babbled to him about “The Prophecy” and why it was the saddest song you had ever heard.

✫Hoshi

“Hey Soonyoung I have a question for you,” you asked him while spinning Ramen around in your bowl. This made your boyfriend look up worried. One because you called him his real name and not “baby” and two, he never could tell what type of question you would ask.

He cleared his throat while giving you a concerned look which made you giggle. That giggle made his fears increase but he decided to humor you. Maybe you were finally going to ask him something simple like: “would you still love me if I was a worm?”

However, he just wasn’t that lucky.

“So Taylor Swift’s album “The Tortured Poets Department” is coming out soon and I was wondering if you could break up with me before it so I can feel it.”

Soonyoung was absolutely flabbergasted and shook his head no quickly. This made you while and pathetically try to beg but Soonyoung stood his ground and crossed his arms.

“Baby, you’re going to have to use imagination for that because I can’t ever break up with you. Just thinking of doing that hurts me.”

“I know baby, but hear me out, this album is rumored to be about her breakup of 6 years. I wanna cry with her.” Soonyoung shook his head no again with his lips pursed. He knew you loved Taylor but he loved you so much more. He’d do anything for you but not that. Even if it was temporary or fake.

✫ Wonwoo

Similarly to Jeonghan, Wonwoo got the Swiftie 101 class except yours happened while y’all were snuggling before bed randomly one evening.

Therefore, he knew the drill and knew how to be a supportive Swiftie boyfriend. Did he have your favorite wine? Check. Did he have tissues? Check. Did he have a shoulder to cry on if you needed it? You’re in luck, he has two!

He poured you both a glass of wine as you pressed play on Fortnight (which he was looking forward to because Post Malone is the man.) After a few songs you had already downed your wine and he quickly refilled it making you blush and thank him quietly. You both then listened to the remainder of the album and he’d give the famous wonu smile whenever you were guessing who the songs were about. Heck, after a while, even he joined in on the guessing game.

✫Woozi

Unknown to you, Jihoon had pre-saved TTPD and listened to it in his studio within a minute of it coming out. While he didn’t know about the lore or any behind the scenes things about Taylor Swift he focused on the lyrics and production of the songs and was impressed. He made little notes to talk to you about them when he got home.

Once he got home at about 3:30 am, he noticed you were sitting with your legs against your chest still listening to the album. He smiled at you and sat beside you. You leaned against him sighing as he wrapped his arms around you to cuddle. He knew you felt sad because of the album and honestly it was sad so he didn’t blame you one bit.

“So she released an additional 15 songs,” you said after awhile which made Jihoon raise an eyebrow. He only listened to the first 16 songs and suddenly he didn’t feel as prepared.

“15???”

“15!”

“Damn… well iI got notes on the first 16 songs if you wanna talk about those.”

This made you sit up with a smile which made Jihoon smile as well before leaning in to kiss you. “Deal.”

✫ DK

Like Jun, Seokmin had witnessed Midnights album release with you along with the Taylor’s Versions of both Speak Now and 1989. He thought he was mentally prepared for this Album but he was so wrong.

Y’all had just finished “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” and when “Down Bad” started he officially felt his heart break.

It was as if Seokmin and your tear ducts were synced as tears fell down both of your faces. At that moment, Seokmin made an oath to you he would never put you in a situation that Taylor unfortunately had to endure.

Once you finally got through all 16 songs and both were ready to fall asleep, Taylor announced and additional 15. Seokmin just looked at the announcement in disbelief before sitting up and saying “okay baby, lets cry some more.”

✫ Mingyu

To be honest, Mingyu loved doing the scavenger hunts that Taylor and Taylor Nation had the swifties do. He found it so interesting the little clues and everything they had that he was a bit jealous they didn’t have something like that with Seventeen. It was a brilliant idea and a great way to bring some excitement to the table for a new album.

Watching you bite your lip as you looked through older songs of hers on Apple Music to find the clues was so attractive to him and he’d look into your eyes as you shared theories on what Tortured Poets would be about.

He just found you so precious and loved these little moments together with you and was happy to be there.

✫ Minghao

Minghao promised to listen to the new album with you but he couldn’t help but feel upset at what was being talked about.

It wasn’t that he didn’t think it was good. He was just so disappointed in whoever Taylor was singing about because of the infidelity, lying, and just treating her like garbage. His heart then hurt when you innocently told him the lyrics were relatable.

Minghao knew you had a rough relationship prior to yours and it made him sad that he wasn’t able to be there sooner so he could help you overcome the hurt. He tried his best to hide the rage and hurt he felt empathetically to you in hopes not to ruin the album for you. However, you knew. You knew how he felt and while you never would tell him, you fell more in love with him at that moment. How beautiful it was to finally have someone who you know could never hurt you like that again.

✫ Seungkwan

Similarly to Joshua and Wonwoo, Seungkwan stayed up to listen to the album with you. It was a tradition you both did for your favorite artists. You had done it a month prior with Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” and now it was time to stop yeehawing and time to cry.

Even though you were more of the Swiftie between you two, even he couldn’t help but feel emotional while listening to the album. When you both first listened to “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” you both had to pause before going to the next song.

You paused because you felt horrible for Taylor meanwhile, he paused because he could relate to the lyrics so much. Seungkwan couldn’t help but think of his hiatus last year and how he felt after coming back. When he started to cry you couldn’t help but wrap your arms around him and cry with him.

✫ Vernon

Hansol walked into your shared apartment and saw you lying on the floor disassociated and couldn’t help but find you adorable. He had given you a day to listen to the album per your request and from the looks of it, it fucked you up.

He decided to lay next to you in support while holding your hand which made you instantly squeeze his hand three times. “Guessing the album was good?”

“No, it was great. Just so sad.”

He hummed and pulled you closer to him and petted your hair. You took it as an invitation to tell him all about the album. You couldn’t see his face but he had a sad smile on his face. He felt bittersweet. Bitter because he knew you were hurting but sweet because he found it enduring that you trusted him this much to be vulnerable with him.

✫ Dino

You decided that you would listen to the album by yourself the first time around. Chan was respectful about it and waited patiently to hear the outcome.

After you listened to it all you made your way to Chan and curled up in a ball next to him. He instinctively wrapped an arm around you and pressed a kiss to your temple. “So what did you think?”

“There were two songs that made me think of you.”

This made him worried because from what you told him this album was rumored to be about the end of Taylor’s 6 year relationship and he thought that y’all were golden. Y’all hadn’t been fighting and everything was okay.

The look on his face made you laugh before pressing a kiss on his lips, “listen to them before you worry.”

You then put on The Alchemy and So High School for him and his heart felt like it exploded with happiness and relief. He kissed you before cheekily asking, “So… I’m your Travis Kelce?” You nodded with a smile, “and I’m your Taylor Swift.”

He laughed before giving you another kiss, “then I’ll make sure you constantly stay bejeweled.”

the full apple music interview with zane lowe is out! we got snippets of it when love from the other side dropped, but they finally rolled out the full thing. here are some highlights that stood out to me :)

patrick describes pete's lyrics as what gets him out of bed in the morning. if pete doesn't send him lyrics, he doesn't write a song.

patrick says that joe was hesitant at first and he was the one who said that for this record he wanted to make something that they could all savor and spend time on and patrick was immediately on board with that

pete says patrick's job is to interpret him because pete calls his mentality a "little bit off" but patrick is capable of understanding him and translating it

patrick describes his and pete's creative relationship as "twin speak." it's not linear and it's like living in his brain a little bit. he calls it the "weirdest thing i've ever seen" when pete can just Tell that some words that patrick adjusted weren't ones he wrote despite not remembering writing them. patrick says he's gotten better at connective tissue and knowing how pete would say things

pete: back in the day patrick was like, "what's the difference between cry and weep i will KILL YOU. THEY'RE THE SAME THING. I'M GONNA KILL YOU RIGHT NOW."

zane says patrick's vocals are next level for this album. pete agrees that he kills it on this album and said he never would've expected that voice coming from him when they first met. zane says patrick could sing a recipe and it would be good. he then passes patrick a recipe and patrick. sings it???

patrick says that pete doesn't mean to have rhythm to his words but there's a rhythm to them all the same and patrick can find this syncopation in his words and thinks it's amazing

more talking about patrick and pete's Magical Mystical Transcendent Soul Bond. patrick says "if we were one guy, we'd be an INCREDIBLE DUDE"

patrick and pete say that interviews with all four of them are hard because it's chaos and everyone's talking at once but it all makes perfect sense to them and no one else. zane says that sounds like fun flkjdfd [i agree please do this more it's a joy]

pete says joe really stepped up and wrote a lot for this record!

patrick: "joe is kind of a conundrum because he's this really talented...he's a brilliant writer, a brilliant player, but pete and i became the "team" and it wasn't really a plan, but that's just kind of how it happened. [brief tangent about the hiatus] we come back from the thing and joe is this fully-formed writer with a very distinct - he has one of the most distinctive writing voices. when i hear his parts, when i hear his ideas, i could pick them out of a crowd. like i know the way joe writes, and it's VERY joe." part of the process with post-hiatus was integrating him into the writing process more.

discussing the hiatus and fame and pete says his life kind of "blew up" and took it pretty hard. apparently during production for folie paparazzi actually broke down the gate to neal avron's house

patrick goes on a big tangent about how bad things got during the height of pete's fame. "part of my role is to tell his story. i'm a composer. that's what i like to do. i work on movies, i work on shows, and i work on pete. pete has a story that needs music, and if he's removed from himself, if he's not even able to access himself because he's behind all of this stuff, i don't have a story! so not only did i not have my buddy, which was heartbreaking in its own way, but then i also don't have a purpose as an artist."

patrick says that andy is always ready to play but when you get him happy to play, it's another level

"and trohman, there were these moments where he...he got so excited."

patrick describes writing what a time to be alive as wanting to write the saddest, most desperate song you could hear at a wedding. pete bursts into laughter and calls it "so twisted"

talking about other endeavors outside the band - patrick talks about composing and said joe's been super busy with his book and writing for tv and because there are so many deadlines for stuff like that, it's what hammered home to him that fall out boy needs to not be that. "there's something special about this that can't be...this has to be passionate and art."

discussing how scared patrick was of his own voice while the band took off. patrick was really scared of the song saturday at first because there are some really exposed vocal moments. he describes saturday as a song where everyone in the band lets each other go for it.

zane calls fall out boy the "emo blueprint" and says they were unapologetic in being emotional. patrick immediately says, "that was pete. i don't think we could've done that without him." he and joe were basically kids and patrick was too anxious to talk on stage.

zane says, "i remember interviewing you in the early days and i felt like every time i asked you a question i was bullying you." pete IMMEDIATELY loses his shit.

"in another life where i didn't have a pete...cause saturday, i did write most of that by myself...so there's a world where that song exists without the band. there's no world where i sing it in front of people without pete."

pete says every night before they put out a new song he calls patrick up and gets really scared and wants to back out and patrick talks him down every time

they talk about how scary it was when arm's race released and performing it at the amas. patrick starts laughing rly hard as they get into how there were giant crickets on stage and the crowd was just stone-faced and utterly nonresponsive and their stage manager was utterly panicked

Aizetsu would lean on the wall and close his eyes, hearing you sing the same song. He never brings it up to you since he got sad at the idea of toy becoming more wherey on who's listening to your beautiful singing voice

Aizetsu will get lost in your voice, it was almost like he's being under some spell and feeling more calm the usual, this time he let his Guard down for too long and didn't notice you open your front door

Aizetsu and you looked at each other in surprise. "Y/n... why are you out here.." he said, looking down at his feet. "I'm going to get some water from the well... how long have you been standing there?" You said with a nervous smile

Sekido barely gives you any personal space unless you are doing something that really involves privacy. When he's outside sitting next to you looking up at the stars, he's always hearing you hum a song

Sekido often told you how annoying it is when you hum very quietly because he thinks you're talking to yourself and not sharing your thoughts with him. It never crossed his mind that it was a song you were singing

Sekido was going to arrive late at your house, so you sat outside, actually singing the song you hummed so much. "That's what it is? A song?" Sekido appears from behind you, making you jump in surprise

Sekido sat in front of you, looking at you angrily. "Why don't you just sing the song instead of half assing it and humming?" He questioned. "It's because I'm just shy.. I don't usually sing in front of anyone"

Sekido couldn't wrap around why you were shy and just angered him more. He actually enjoyed what he just heard and wanted to hear more, and even getting mad at himself, thinking he shouldn't have interrupted just to hear you sing more

Sekido sighed "well I'm not anyone. I'm your lover, so there's no need to be shy around me. If you are, I'll get angry, " he said. "Sing the song properly this time. I don't want to hear you hum it, " he asks you as nicely as he can just to hear you sing, especially for him.

Karaku

Karaku didn't realize you could sing until he heard you in the shower. You gave Karaku a certain time to come to your house at nights but he decided to come much earlier to surprise you

Karaku was glad he disobeyed your strict time for him to come over because he got to hear you sing in the shower. Your voice sounded like an angel to him, and he couldn't help listen

Karaku decided it would be a "good idea" to start clapping once you were done your song "Amazing! Great job! How lovely, " he said with the biggest grin on his face. "Karaku!? What are you doing here so early!?" You turned off the shower getting flustered.

Karaku laughs. "I wanted to surprise you by coming early, but it looks like i got surprised instead. You're singing is beautiful why don't you sing more often? Could make lots of money off that, " he said. "It's because I'm just shy..." You pout

Karaku raised his eyebrow in confusion. "I don't understand. You're singing is really good but if you don't want to sing in front of others I understand" he said getting ready to open the door "Karaku don't you fucking dare."

Karaku started giggling mischievously. "What!? I've seen you naked before. Maybe if I see you again, you won't be so shy to sing in front of others. " he jokes and opens the door and is greeted with you throwing bars of soap at his face. "GET OUT!!!!"

Urogi

Urogi doesn't necessarily hear you singing, but he always manages to come when you're whistling a tune. "Hey y/n, what is that song you're always whistling? I don't think I've heard it before, " he asked, getting closer to your face, excited to know.

Urogi looked at you, shocked when you tell him it's a song you've been writing. "Can you sing it for me?" He asked with a wide smile. "Ah... I don't know. I've never sang in front of anyone before. " You cover your mouth and turn the other way.

Urogi was surprised "seriously? I think you'll sound good. Please?" He asks, and the more you told him no, the more he begged. "Please y/n I won't ask again, please!" He hugs you tightly so you can't escape.

Urogi finally got you to agree. "I'm going to have my back turned okay? Sorry, I'm just.." you said, and he puts his talon on your mouth gently "its fine! Just sing! But maybe this will help. " he uses his claws to cover your ears so you will feel like you're alone.

Urogi listens to you sing. He is amazed. He didn't think you were horrible, but you were much better than he expected. Once you were done, he clapped his claws. "You are a good singer! But only sing around me, " he winks. "I definitely will," you giggle

Zohakuten

Zohakuten told you he's been having werid dreams when he is sleeping during the day. He tells you he hears a woman singing and explains how much he likes to hear her sing. "I think this dream will just go away, you know?" You said laughing nervously

Zohakuten couldn't understand how you could just brush off what he said. You're his older sibling according to you, but you weren't doing what an older sibling would do when their younger sibling is curious about something.

Zohakuten was mad at you that night and didn't talk to you until sun rose when he went to bed in his room. He couldn't sleep and thought his mind wasn't play tricks on him until he heard singing and opened his door quietly.

Zohakuten walked to the kitchen, stopping where the sunlight shined in the kitchen and heard you singing the same song he heard in his dream. "It was you," he said, making you jump, dropping a pan. "I thought you were sleeping!? Shit don't scare me like that, you little brat!"

Zohakuten looked at you mad. "Shut up. Don't call me a brat. You're the brat for not telling me you're the woman singing the song that I like." he crossed his arms with a slight pout. "You like the song?" You asked

Random thought(when is it not random??) to expand on later

Cash Cow JD AU

Dunno if an idea like this was done or not but hear me out. While hiking the Neverglades, maybe about 5 years after the band broke up(he's already gone back and thinks his bros are dead), JD final starts letting himself sing again. It starts as humming lullabies he used to sing for his brothers, turns into quietly singing the songs he wrote for Brozone, and ends up him just singing whatever he's doing. He strikes me as the type, when alone at least, to sing the randomest shit to fill the quiet. Well, during one of his better spontaneous songs, a suspicious individual overhears. Think Mount Rageon kind of design, but adult and much more corporately power hungry. He carefully sits out in the open while JD is singing, letting the Troll see him when he turns. It startles JD, but the guy acts so genuinely impressed that he puffs up proudly and brags a bit. The Evil Man(lmao) asks about why he quit singing for audiences, and John Dory doesn't quite get into it, but it's been so long since he really talked to someone. He's hesitant, but eventually opens up about his brothers and everything that happened. And that they're probably dead. Evil Man acts all sympathetic, but sees the sun is going down and mentions he has to return home. A fancy little city not too far(for his big ass legs at least). He invites John to come explore, and dude is intrigued and bored. So he hitches a ride on Evil Man's shoulder.

Things go south not too long after. Come to find out, Evil Man had a few other trolls "under his wing". Aka held hostage to act as idols under his name. Maybe varying genres? JD would be the Pop Troll to complete the little group, and is designated as lead man. John is like "uh no way, bye" but Evil Man has magic technology lol. Maybe bracelets that paralyze the wearer if they move too far from a certain area? Something along those lines. So JD is trapped.

With this, Floyd and Bruce hear about JD around the time just before the first movie. Maybe while that's going down, Floyd goes to see one of JD's shows and tries to talk to him. JD panics because Evil Man would 100% either exploit Floyd's talent or use him against JD. So big bro tries to make him leave by saying horrible things? Like "I'm more successful now than we ever were. Why would I leave? I've found my Perfect Harmony." He specifically drops that in to try and clue Floyd in that something is wrong. Floyd, being the empath he is, gets the hint and sneaks in a mention that he'd go find their other brothers then. By the time Floyd meets up with Bruce, the first movie has happened. Second movie happens, let's say, 3 months after? Not too long. As that's happening, Bruce and Floyd try to hunt down Clay. They finally find him when they all suddenly go gray. The strings were broken. John Dory's lil group feels it too, mid show, and it royally pisses off Evil Man. He cuts the music, and JD glances backstage to see the look on his face. He's about ready to legit murder the Trolls, but just in time JD feels a weird warmth in his chest. He goes off script, starts singing acapella and the rest of the group join in. Their color comes back, there's sparkles and magic in the air, and the crowd eats it up. They finish out the show, and Evil Man chews em out. John Dory explains he has no idea what happened, and they manage to get off without too much injury.

Bruce, Floyd, Clay, and Viva(after some convincing) leave to try and figure out what just happened. They hear about the Rockapocalypse over a radio(maybe they have a different mode of transportation? Rhonda comes in later). They hunt down Pop Village in no time, before the Bergen wedding, and find Branch and Poppy. Reunions!!!

this is such a contrast to my last confession but erm

In where, your morning remembrance was interrupted by people. You later meet them properly, with hope in the dark.

(This is just for fun, do not take this seriously and to the included streamers,lmao I’m sorry) I hope you enjoy!!

You were walking down the hallways just like usual. Your shoes squeaking as you walked. Music was cancelling out the noises from the environment around you. It was still early in the morning but you still enjoyed the fresh air in the winter.As it was still early in the morning the heating of the school was just turned on recently. No one would be here. No one usually.

You were here for only one reason though. It was to play the piano in the music room. Being at home was never fun especially since you were an only child. Your parents were always expecting nothing from you,they ever really cared about anything but themselves. However you had your grandmother,she was always there to take care of you when your parents were away and busy.

She was your true and only family you had and taught you many things like dancing,singing and drawing. Your grandmother always played piano when you were younger. It was a token that she had given you before she passed away 2 years ago. Music was a remembrance of her. Your one and only family.

Finally you made it to the music room,seeing the piano just makes you softly smile. You walked in and lightly grazed your fingers over the keys of the piano. You turned off the music playing from your phone and placed your backpack beside the seat.

Silence surrounded. Comforting you as you breathe in. You enjoyed this feeling. It reminded you of her,your beloved grandmother.

You began to play your favorite song,each key played beautifully with grace.This song brought memories to you. It meant so much to you but you would only play that on rare occasions because you didn’t want other people to walk in on you with tears. 

-time: 5:32 am-

You played what you desired, this is one of your only reasons why you came in to school. Playing the piano and your one and only friend. Well,you hoped that she considered you as her friend too, Mika Melatika. She transferred to your school a year ago and she keeps on talking to you during class. Mika was popular in a way that you didn’t know why she was talking to you.

Being a senior in your school,not many people would talk to you. Even if you were a senior, you weren’t well known or out there within popularity because you didn’t really care about most things. In a way, you were seen as a loner but no one cared about you,only Mika did. 

-time: 5:57 am-

You were in the middle of the last song when you heard a squeak. You heard sounds of muttering.

“mysssstaaaaa”

Before your eyes, you saw three males sitting by the opened door of the music room. Once they saw you,they immediately stood up. They were tall like tall tall.

“um,hi?” You looked up at them as they looked down at you. One of them looked away from you as the other two were still in shock.

You were the most cutest person they have seen. Small and your voice was  so idealistic. Soft yet, it suited your appearance so much.You were just so talented and they didn’t imagine you to look like that. 

You looked at them with a glint of hope that they would greet you back,your eyes shining while your eyebrows had made you have a confused adorable expression.

“um bye-”one with golden pupils said with a soothing voice before running away-

With that the two males just ran away without him. But one of them dropped a gold fountain pen keychain that had a key latched on. You tried to shout for them but when you looked the direction that they ran off to, they were gone.

‘Maybe I’ll find him later’ you thought to yourself as you walked back to the piano just to collect your bag.You shoved the key in the side pocket of your bag before Plugging your headphones in again.You made your way down the hallways once again. Your destination was in the indoor basketball court. You always sleep there for an hour before making your way down to your first class. No one comes down to the basketball court in the mornings.

The air was still crisp and freezing in the indoor court.You grabbed onto your bag like a stuffed animal and sat in the corner of the bleachers. The seats weren’t that comfortable but it was still enough to make you fall asleep.

School was boring to say the least. The first class had ended and you were still tired. You honestly didn’t want to be there but today Mika said that she had something to give you. Your next class was English and you were already in your seat. 

time: 9:03 am

In this class,you were made to do a group project and somehow the whole grade was doing this. So each group will be assigned by the teachers and all classes will be mixed. Some students were groaning and some were happy because this is a great excuse to be with their friends from the other classes.

You were unhappy with this and was tempted to ask the teacher if you could do the project by yourself but you just didn’t have the energy to ask in the end.

You were waiting patiently for your name to be called out.

“Ike,Mysta,Shu,Mika and (y/n)”

“Vox,Luca,Shoto,Merry and John”

You perked up as you hear that you were paired up with Mika. You were thanking the lord that you had the only friend you had in this school in your group. You were whisper cheering ‘yes yes yes yes’ as you saw Mika making her way down to you.

She took a seat next to you.

“y/nnnnn, I can’t believe we are paired to together” She grinned happily as you softly smile back at her.

“I also know the other people that we are paired with” You look at her with not the slightest interest.Drifting your attention to your textbook.You were tapping your pen on the book hoping that she would change the topic because you were too exhausted to socialize. 

“look,I know you don’t like socializing with other people but Shu,Ike and Mysta are really chill people to be with.With our intelligence and their social skills, we can ace this project!”Mika exclaims with excitement and glee.

“Hmm,okay then and what were you going to give me?you said earlier?”You questioned the girl in a whispered tone as you rested your chin on your arm.

“ohhh yeahhh, here” She took out two cute matching bracelets.Both having our initials on them. They were both our favorite colours. You look at them in slight shock.

“did you make these yourself?”Asking as she gave the one with your initials to you. 

“yes,I did!”Mika looked at you with happiness that you like the gift that she had made for you. You hugged her tightly as that this was the first time someone had made something for you like that.Not even your parents had given you something like this.You planned to wear this everyday,you were genuinely were smiling at her.

“I love them,they’re so cute,thank you”Mika had made your day and you weren’t tired anymore.You saw three male students making your way over to you. They seemed familiar but you couldn’t remember. 

“Eyyyy Mikaa” They all had greeted Mika but then they turned to you. ‘How awkward’ You thought to yourself.Until Mika introduced you.

“Guys this is my good friend y/n,y/n this is Shu,Mysta and Ike” They all smiled at you. 

Mika noticed how awkward the atmosphere got and started to target Mysta for being bad at cooking. As that was happening,you just took the key that one of them owned from your bag.

“um,hi”You awkwardly greeted them with a small wave.The ombre blue haired one looked away from you,slightly tinted a crimson red colour. Then it hits you.these were the guys who were listening to you play piano earlier.

You looked at Ike with hope.

“Is this yours?”

Nope fortunately, but I do have a dog who is just like a kid! (just turned 1 this month) and the other one is just like an old man (turned 15 this month) but I love them

Not all the time, I come as pretty sincere even when it's the perfect moment to let out my wittiness, but that's when I pay a lot of attention, I suck at being witty sometimes :')

I remember writing something like 'their face expression when I'm talking to them' which still stands today xD no but seriously, I'm still insecure and sometimes worry about how do people perceive me, but I think it also has to do to the fact that I like face expressions and structures a lot lol

As I already mentioned two dogs with their respective ages! the baby one is called Bonita (or Bonnie/Lola for the friends) who I adopted 6 months after my doggie Lila passed away :( and the oldie but goldie is Ciro, who's still alive after the fucking mess he was all his life, I adopted him as a weeks-old puppy but he's stray at heart lol

I only played volleyball and softball at school, I didn't like softball a lot but volleyball is always fun

i posted the "WITH THE FUCK WITH THE FUCK WHAT THE FUUUUUCK" thing like a second ago and thats like my whole opinion on that song. im pretty sure katy is singing some of it and like i love her her voice actor was incredibly talented again gotta say the obvious. also the beginning where shes like "oh. (chuckles) ok." with like no context is so real so great. also what the fuck is happening in the video.

the lyrics are just "im cool man and so is milk can and heres a bunch of stuff we did" Im very neutral about this one i have no thoughts other than yes you are cool and so is milk can

the song is basically just "remember guys behave yourselves!!!" but hearing parappa say "Stay away from drugs" is so funny again not many thoughts

THIS ONE IS SO SILLY TO ME bc he starts off with shit like "why. do birds have wings" like ok ok then "why. do boys like girls? girls like boys, boys like toys, and girls like curls?" interesting thoughts parappa "why do we feel hungry? why do we need money?" even further into interesting "Who created sunny funny?" her dad what "Why is fire hot? why does rain fall in drops?" yeah? "why do we have first and last names?" ok ok "And how come people die? And where do we go, from the sky?" damn ok parappa questioning the real shit at late hours in the morning. anyway yeah hes just slowly questioning everything in this song and it sounds really funny to me

OKOKOK TO BE FAIR "We Are Milkcan!" is never going to be beat in terms of all over the place in tone and I love that song so Im sure that this one has its fans. I just think its really funny that parappa sounds like he was paid to make this album so much. Im sure he agrees with certain sentiments in it its just so out of left field given that he wouldve kicked those bullies asses at the beginning of the first game and given what I know about the second game (something about noodle and burger war?) I litterally dont think he cares about this as much as this album explores these themes.

Also parappa talks about school like hes in elementary school and not like. what 15? based on what Ive heard about the anime I dont like this, unless it was a deliberate choice ofc bc then idc as long as rodney or whoever isnt having their creations messed with.

Ayyyy new HB episode just dropped, and its the Fizzarolli one!~ Been SUPER curious about it since the initial trailers/sneak peek previews, soooo... lets talk about it~

*SPOILER WARNING AHEAD FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T SEE IT YET-*

First things first, the Positives:

-Loved loved LOVED Fizzarolli and Asmodeus since their initial debuts in "Ozzie's", and... yeah, I very much enjoyed them here too!~ 👏From Fizz's maniacally-pampered goofiness to Ozz's "lovingly suave & powerful" demeanor, it blends into some super enjoyable chemistry when we see them both onscreen~ ❤️Not that they have a flawless relationship ofc, given Ozzie's overprotective coddling at times & Fizz being too careless about his own safety (+his inner worry of what the public would think of Ozz dating an Imp)... but at the end of the day, whether it's fluffy cuddles, kinky fun, or pummeling the hell out of some boring lawyer dude... it seems like nothing will ever tear these two apart, aww~ :3

-Blitz and Fizz's dynamic was SO fun to watch from start to finish, everything including their snarky banter at the start, their gradual teamwork when kidnapped, and their heart-to-heart by the end was quite touching to see play out (like man you can just FEEL the pain in Blitz's voice as he recounted all that tragedy/genuinely felt remorse for what happened... poor guy ;-; )🥺 I know some could argue that Fizz forgiving Blitz at the end was a little... "rushed", but personally I like to see it more as them agreeing start over "fresh" to give time in rebuilding things, with plenty to catch up on now that they're free from danger 👍 Here's to some more great Blitz/Fizz content in future HB eps!

-As... "lukewarm" as I've grown towards Stolas lately, I honestly found him pretty fine here in terms of character portrayal/writing (surprising too that he didn't take up much screentime since he stayed more to the sidelines during the B-plot... huh .3.). The lil bit of him excited to read the contract was pretty funny too lol ("Ohoho, I love words!~")

-Didn't expect to see Striker so soon, but he proved a fun threat to watch along with the bigger arsenal in Crimson's gang! 👌 Curious to see what he'll be up to next, with that slick escape of his by the end~ 👀

-I liked the lil fly-Chihuahua things Fizz had as pets during the intro, they were cute :3

-Much better writing in the humor-department here, as even some of the "raunchier" jokes (like from Fizz and/or Ozzie) didn't really phase me here since most of them do come from two prominent Lust Ring performers. Ironically enough though, it was actually Crimson who surprisingly gave me the most laughs ngl (like the screen recording threat to Ozzie, his confused face at Fizz singing in Italian, etc. lmao).

-Beautiful shots of animation & color work as usual, and even Fizz's song (-cluttered as it was lol) proved an amusing one to see given the circumstances of him improvising the whole time XD. Hope we'll see more of Alex Brightman's singing talents in HB's future, given his past Broadway work! 👏

-So it looks like we were right to assume Stolas is planning to give Blitz an Asmodean Crystal after all (possibly meaning the end of their Full Moon deal, too? :o), so that'll be interesting to see how that'd play out later (esp. now that Fizz gave the okay to let Blitz have it by the end, thanks to their renewed bond ^^)

Now, as for any potential Negatives...:

-As much as I enjoyed Striker's antagonist role here, along with the looming forces he gained from Crimson's alliance... like, why is Crimson of all people here for the villain-count, again? .-. Sure, it is refreshing that Striker's learning to let go of "sucking up" to Goetia's (aka: Stella & her brother) to get by... buuuut idk, I would've thought Crimson's next big appearance would've been suited more to a Moxxie and/or Millie-centered plot, I guess? 🤷 Idk...

-For someone who went through such an intense kidnapping/beat-up during his last starring role... I'm surprised Stolas is apparently walking around fine now, with no other visible injury? I mean sure, he is a Goetia so I guess it makes sense he'd heal up fast... yet since its only been canonically a week since "Western Energy" happened, I feel like he should've at least had a couple bandages/scars on him, to at least leave some more of a narrative impact of what he went through imo.

-Funny as the B-plot was with the boring lawyer guy... yeaaaaah I'll admit after awhile, I couldn't help wondering why Ozzie didn't just say "f*** it" and killed the dude already lol. Like, big threats from Crimson aside... Asmodeus IS an Embodiment of Sin nonetheless, arguably more powerful than any Goetia if we consider the Hell hierarchy system. Couldn't he have just... idk, raised up hell like Stolas did in "Truth Seekers" to go save his man? 🤷 Not that it took me out of the ep too much given all the great Blitz & Fizz content we got instead... buuuut yeah lol.

-With that one flashback sequence of Blitz and Fizz's childhood... I'm surprised Barbie Wire didn't show up much in it (save for the burned photo with their mom)? .-. I mean I'll admit I even saw some leaked storyboard-screencaps showing that Barbie was meant to be seen running out during the tent fire scene, but in the actual-finished ep she's just... not there somehow? Weird .x.;

-I'm... not really sure how to feel about Blitz straight up calling Striker a "supremacist"? Like yeah Striker's clearly within the "Eat The Rich" mentality since his debut in S1... buuuut with how its been subtly stated of how oppressed the Imp race is compared to most other Hell classes, I don't really get how Striker is "wrong" to outright detest royalty/rich folk? .-. Idk, hopefully they'll clear this up more with a later episode/backstory moment for Striker down the line... 'cause otherwise, the implications of it all just feels very... ehhhhh .x.;;

-...okay, I'm just gonna cut to the chase here (*and no offense meant-in advance to any shippers out there, btw*), but I'm... reeeeally not a fan of how much this show's been trying to "water down" Blitz and Stolas' current dynamic here 😑 Like, its one thing to show Stolas catching honest, genuine feelings but recognizing his mistakes enough to try & make things "right" (hence again, the Asmodeon Crystal thing)... but to straight up paint Blitz as being some "uwu stubborn meanie who doesn't know true love when he sees iiiiit~" is just... really? 🤦

Mind you, Stolas is the same guy who coerced Blitz into their Grimoire deal all so Blitz can keep up his I.M.P. business (& for Stolas to... well, "get some" >>;), kept stepping over boundaries throughout S1 (aka: calling him "Blitzy" over & over, hitting on him when he's not interested, etc.), and then didn't even try to defend Blitz when they both got publicly mocked in "Ozzie's" (only way later when they were in the privacy of his manor did he offer to talk/have some "cuddly couple time" together... 😒). Again, I don't mean to dunk on Stolas too much 'cause I know he IS trying to be better now (+Blitz wasn’t exactly a saint either, given that he only ever asked out Stolas back then just so he could spy on M&M >>)... but really, all that in mind I can't say I blame Blitz for not being exactly "receptive" to Stolas' affections 🤷 Personally, I think its best that these two just give eachother some space (once the Grimoire/Crystal thing is sorted out), imho...

Aaaaand yeah, all-in-all I'd say this ep was... probably the best of S2, so far??😳Not "perfect" by any means, and def could've used a bit more polish in a few scenes/plot holes/script-writing... all-in-all, the strong chemistry of Blitz, Fizzarolli, Asmodeus amongst the drama made it a truly worthwhile episode~! 👏👏As for my current S2 ranking atm:

hi hi legacy, it’s lucas (aka hayun’s mun) bringing you my second muse, na sejun! i’m actually writing this in advance so, i’m definitely a little more prepared this time but plots will pretty much be on a plotted basis because i’m bad at coming up with ideas, lmao. i’ll have some more info about him under the cut, and as always if you’d like to plot with us, please give this a like and i’ll come to you! 

sejun was born and raised in seoul to a wealthy successful lawyer and ex model/actress. all of his siblings are doctors and lawyers, relatively smart and studious, which set a precedent for the family and put a lot of pressure on sejun to follow in their footsteps. 

before joining legacy, he did his two years military duty which caused his anxiety that had been pretty dormant, or at least a lot more tolerable, to act up and has been struggling ever since then. ( tw / alcohol ) he’s been heavily drinking and smoking since his discharge to cope. he’s pretty high functioning though, so you’d never know he had been drinking unless you spend every waking moment with him. ( tw end )

he now goes to university, majoring in environmental studies and is on track to be a lawyer. (he plans to drop out very soon because his grades are suffering while all his time and dedication goes to being a trainee.) 

sejun’s parents have no idea that he’s failing school or that he’s a trainee at legacy. (plot twist, they would support him with whatever but he firmly believes that he is the black sheep of the family and will be a disgrace if he does anything besides law or medical.) 

sejun’s super into making music, he’s both good at producing and writing songs and song lyrics. he spends most of his time making demos and writing lyrics/poetry in his journal. 

he’s also a really talented artist and does a lot of semi realistic sketches and drawings, and also dabbles in abstract/realist oil paintings. 

he also cannot dance for shit, basically has two left feet and struggles a lot in dances classes, which is why he’s questioning if he wants to become an idol or not.

sejun’s personality is extremely brooding, he spends a lot of his time alone with his thoughts and is really good at avoiding situations that make him sad and anxious. he’s terrible at confronting anything and is a certified people pleaser.

generally though, he’s very social and good at making friends, he just doesn’t well talking in large groups and can be a wallflower until you get to know him. but he can also be pretty out going in the right context (usually when he’s incapacitated, which is a lot of the time.) he’s witty, kind of a brat, and a lot self deprecating. 

as for plot, he needs people to spot him for the trainee mission but is open for any other type or relationship (ex, friends, enemies, etc.)

i always say taemin is my bias (hes adorable AND funny like... king stop my expectations are too high-) but i think im truly ot5 because all of them are so important to me. they were the first kpop group i ever listened to forever ago (sherlock (clue + note) is a legend and i love her so much), and i think dropping off shortly after getting into them (which would have been around 2015 because it was the time view came out) and then picking them a little over a year ago was genuinely like... something that really helped me out of a shitty place + hurt because i had missed the news about jonghyun entirely. but even then, i think its made me appreciate him and everything he's done so, so much. i won't get sappy but i truly love jonghyun so much and i'm glad he's no longer hurting. it'll always piss me off when people reduce him down to his death and nothing else because he was such a good person.

moving on from that before i get too emotional... i genuinely just love shinee a lot. i watched one of the shinee world concerts (IV i think?) earlier this year and its amazing how talented they were and still are. shinee truly helped pave the way and inspired so many idols and i adore them. its also fun to just watch them interact, tbh. i don't genuinely ship anyone because i find that weird, but minkey as a (platonic) pair are my faves lmao they always bicker like an old married couple but you can tell that they do love each other and are genuinely close friends.

and jinki!!! onew my beloved!!! i love him so much. he has such a warm presence and GOD his vocals... i die every time... coincidentally love phobia just came up on my playlist lmao but still!! highly recommend listening to DICE if u haven't!! the entire album itself is good but the title track is soo good <3 i always feel like i forget he's the leader of shinee because they're all so close-knit, it feels like they're all on completely equal footing even if jinki is the one leading them.

i didnt rly get into my love for taemin but genuinely i adore him. he's so, so talented both vocally and dance-wise, i love to see the difference between his stage persona (typically his solo persona lmao taemin and his slutty slutty music... <3) when he's really just this very sweet catholic man who apparently only really interacts with his group mates and a few others outside of that. he's so funny and i honestly admire every live he did where he spoke english and messed up and accepted his mistakes? like. learning a language is hard enough, especially one as fucking weird as english, but he just seems to eager to try speaking english and accepts his mistakes. i think he definitely has a very good support network both in the people helping him learn english (job-wise) and in having someone like key there to correct him (and maybe rib him a little bit--but it's all out of love). also i still think its really funny he broke into keys place to leave him a birthday cake and then proceeded to steal one of his jackets. stole my heart at the same time smh

i will stop here bc i still have two questions left on my final but !!! i will absolutely give u shinee recs if you want!! shinee has SUCH a good discography with only a few songs that are... not good at all lmao. but every group puts out some bad songs sometimes, especially when they've been around for a long time! nothing wrong w that! + i'll probs throw in recs from each member's solo career because i genuinely love a lot of their solo stuff as well <3
