i’m watching this jdrama and i can’t decide if it’s just really stereotypical but ok or stereotypical but kind of creepy

#it's called Love Lasts Forever (Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo) #like the main character becomes a nurse becomes she once met a doctor in the street during an emergency and she immediately fell in love??? #and she started studying to go and work at his hospital #which is ??? #also why a nurse? why not a doctor like him? #and she confesses to him on her first day when obviously he does not remember her and he rejects her (thank goodness) #and one of her superior says that to win his affection she has to attract him as a woman not just a nurse and so he'll pretend to like her #so that the doctor she's into can want her to? out of a sense of competition?? #the lead is really cute but it's a bit like ok so outside of becoming a nurse to meet a guy who doesn't know you and being very sweet but a #little clumsy...who are you? #i'll keep on watching because I'm embroidering at the same time so I need something easy to watch lmao also hoping that once the first #episode is done to introduce the characters we'll get a bit more depths or at least less 'creepy/cringy' stuffs #but tbh I don't want to think too much and pay too much attention so this is good #sidenote: it's weird being back to watching something where I do'nt underst #and #a word after watching so many kdramas #why did I write all of this in the tags #vinformation

Hope you're having fun on your trip! I hope you don't mind my rambling while you're away. I just started watching a dorama called "Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo" (Love Lasts Forever) with Sato Takeru as the male lead and while it's not my cup of tea I'm enjoying it so far! Watanabe Kaisuke is part of the cast as well and one of the first things he said was "maou" and I had to pause so I could laugh a little bit lol

i saw a preview for that one! kind of tempted to try it myself even though in terms of het romance it seems... really not my thing, either. but of course takeru looks so handsome in it and the concept of nurse woz is super funny to me. tfw you wake up groggily in a hospital bed and woz is there taking your blood pressure
