i wonder if the reason wasp is so scrawny is because starvation is a form of torture and he WAS in the stockades for a good while, then escaped and was more focused on revenge and getting to earth than on eating. just the little heart shattering things. yknow.
While I don’t deny that Wasp is definitely more than a little malnourished thanks to the Stockades and that he likely has some major issues with food because of it, I have a hard time chalking him up as “scrawny” for that reason alone. He might be skinny, but he’s taller than Bumblebee! It really just looks to me like while they may have been forged from the same protoform mold, they just grew into these specific differences. Wasp is just a leaner (and meaner) than Bee.
I think it’s hard to take people who are like «anti shinobi system» and then judges the characters based on their fighting abilities and usefullness, seriously. It’s like “I hate the shinobi system”, *judges the characters based on how well they live up to the standards of it*.
Absolutely losing it @ the guardian writer midway through his review being like “maybe this is a symbol of society’s obsession with physical looks. or maybe I just think Harry Styles is rly hot.”
the fact that i'm no longer the same age as the protagonists of novels and films i once connected to is so heartbreaking. there was a time when I looked forward to turning their age. i did. and i also outgrew them. i continue to age, but they don't; never will. the immortality of fiction is beautiful, but cruel.
u ever see someone with extremely fucked up views (or actions) and think wowww if a couple of things in my life went the tiniest bit differently that would have been me
