Question for the veteran fangirlies out there

Hi friends, i know I've been absent for a while and this is kinda a random post to pop back on, but I recently got a short burst of spare time for one of my favourite hobbies: reading fanfics by the wonderfully creative people within this community.

the question i pose: I landed on a fic called "happy endings" by an orphan account, a gifted work to amelia_day (@awhiskeyriver do you remember this person?!). I was wondering if anyone knows who wrote this fic and could let me know or link some of their other works here as i'm just obsessed with their writing style and was fully ready to dive down a rabbithole of their works before remembering that it was an orphan account 😭. it seems they were quite active in the fandom (y'all I went full stalker mode) until around 2021? from my own findings, I think it might have been silvercistern, but I can't be sure, and either way, I can't find any of their other works. does anyone know if they're still up? or if it even is silvercistern?

Maybe it's just all the time I spend with The Nerd (it's definitely something to do with The Nerd, let's be real), but there's just something so fucking breathtaking and genuine to me about the Minus Win.

Just a whole team of absolute dorks, doing it for the craft and for the love of the lizard, showing up with their nerdy little shoes and their arms full of action figures, jumping and shrieking and laughing because we did it, we won.

Awards shows can feel so fake so often, but this one shining moment felt like a Wednesday night Fathom showing full of nerds in graphic t-shirts, or a Saturday afternoon on the couch with your best friend. Everyone was just cheering for Godzilla, because we love him, because we knew he could do it, because we were right.

I'm hugging my Kamata-kun plushie a little closer tonight, is all.

something in me BROKE when fifteen looked at fourteen and said, “hey, I’ve got you. I’m here. Come here.” before that hug??? Because LISTEN. That wasn’t a normal hug.

That was a desperate “I’ve got someone who understands and maybe they’ll help me put myself back together because they know how broken I am” hug

And I CRIED

The Doctor’s thing about why they travel with companions is so they don’t have to be alone. Being alone means memories. Being alone means having to face the hundreds upon hundreds of years of trauma they’ve never given themselves the opportunity to.

And Fourteen is a culmination of everything 9-13 has to endure, and it SHOWS. It shows in his face every time a companion who died or disappeared is mentioned. Amy. Rose. Clara. Bill. All these ordinary people who got turned into weapons in the name of The Doctor, and they have NEVER stopped blaming themselves despite it never being their fault to begin with.

Fourteen’s vulnerability is so drastically different from 9-13 because throughout all three specials, he feels it. He feels it and it hurts and he wants it to stop.

And just briefly, when his older healed self says, “come here. I’m here.” It DOES.

AND THEN HE GETS A FAMILY. HE’S NOT ALONE ANYMORE.

“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
