It had been a week since she last saw Baekhyun. To others, it may not seem like a long time, but to her, it felt almost chasmous the stretch of time that had separated the two.
They had been one of those cliche, heartwarming stories of a childhood friendship flourishing into an unbreakable bond, growing up together side by side, facing the world and its challenges one day at a time. And as if an inevitable facet of such a close relationship, platonic emotions soon morphed into a beautiful and budding infatuation with one another.
Their anniversary was coming up, and although it's been years, it still felt like their first. That sweet and awkward time of unfamiliarity, a rarity in their lifetimes in which they had shared every thought and feeling, and they relished in the awkward exchanges of that first anniversary. Silly giggles and blushing faces, unsure of what was to be done on such a momentous occasion. But it was a time she cherished, and one she fondly thought of on the car ride to the airport.
Alongside his family, they waited at baggage claim, all mingling amongst each other to pass the time by. Though that time seemed to come to a standstill as the lot all began frantically calling out his name, displaying their excitement in this inevitable reunion.
All but (y/n), that is.
Because the man they cried for was not her Baekhyun.
It was a mortifying ordeal, to be fairly honest, turning around to greet her lover of so many years, only to see a man she's never once seen in her lifetime. He appeared youthful with dyed gray locks that lay against his head like an unkempt mop, short yet with a broad stature beneath his clothing. Brown eyes that disappeared as he smiled at the family that all ran up to him, embracing the boy like long lost loved ones. His grin was bright and beaming, reciprocating the affection tenfold, voices all overlapping as they reconnected.
And when he finally met her tentative gaze, she felt her stomach churn with unrest.
"(y/n), are you okay?" Baekhyun's elder brother asked, his laughter dying down as he instead went to approach the girl still standing as stiff as a board by the conveyor belts of luggage.
"Oh dear, (y/n) what's wrong?" The mother followed suit, taking up (y/n)'s other side, the two cradling the girl between them as she grimaced at the man stepping closer to assess her.
"(y/n), are you alright?" His voice made a wave of nausea run over her, grimacing as his eyes remained locked on her own. Though there was anything but concern in his gaze—instead he watched with a prying stare, as if unearthing whatever anxieties were broiling within her mind. The thought had her recoiling further into his mother.
"What is this?" (y/n) finally managed to get out, eyes remaining on whoever stood before her. "What's going on? Who is this?"
"Okay, now I'm genuinely concerned." The boy to her side pressed the back of his hand to her forehead.
"What do you mean?" The mother beside her squeezed (y/n)'s arms comfortingly. "Is there something wrong, sweetheart? You're not excited to see Baekhyun?"
She shook her head, brows furrowing at the man who feigned worry for her countenance.
"This… isn't Baekhyun."
At this, the whole family grew quiet, the father being the first to speak, approaching the growing situation and clamping a hand on the unknown man.
"(y/n), you good?" The repeated questions finally got to her as she aggressively shook off the two holding her, backing away from the group who watched with inbridled concern in their eyes.
"I don't know what's going on. I don't know what you're all playing at. I don't know if this is just a prank or something." (y/n) watched their gazes, though nothing seemed to shift even the slightest. "This… This isn't Baekhyun!"
Another round of concerned murmuring as they tried growing closer, though (y/n) continued to step back further. The man just watched her, head quirked to the side with a pout on his face, though his eyes seemed to be the one tell in his facade. They were too aware. As if watching the scene unfold, fully planned in its entirety. And suddenly that nausea from before came back, (y/n) having to clamp a hand over her mouth to stop the uneasy rise of bile.
It was all a rush from there, being guided out of the airport whilst wrapped in the mother's arms, then tucked away into the vehicle. They all spoke words of distress in regards to her mental state, though it all sounded like a jumbled mess in her head. From where she sat behind the passenger seat, she could see the rear view mirror ahead, and at the corner of its reflection was the man staring at her with such cold intrigue in his eyes. The man they all seem to be so well acquainted with, but one she had never met in all of her time growing up with the bunch.
His eyes felt penetrative, invasive. Uncaring and calculated, like a scientist watching a subject squirm beneath his glower. Though he maintained his composure so well, catching up and laughing along with everyone. Talking as if he truly were the Baekhyun she knew and loved. His clothing was much like Baekhyun's, though of a different size, and his mannerisms were practically identical.
It had to be a prank. A cruel prank. But her mind couldn't wrap around such a scheme. Whoever this man was made her queasy. He struck something in her, something primal and instinctual. A fear in her she never knew she had.
She wanted to ask once more where Baekhyun was, but her mouth had gone dry, too wary to speak in this man's presence until they had arrived in town. Her ever approaching doom seemed to grow nearer and nearer as she finally began processing her situation.
This was not a prank. This was not a joke. Something was horribly wrong. And she was about to be left alone in her apartment with a stranger. Though not just any normal stranger: an imposter.
"Could you… drop me off at my friend's house?" Her voice came out weak, barely above a whisper, but still heard by the father who merely nodded.
"Yes, I think that would be best given our… predicament."
Predicament. He spoke as if it were nothing of significance. As if the man beside him was truly his son, and it was just his son's significant other gone crazy. A hushed silence fell upon the vehicle, and with a tentative glance at the mirror, she confirmed her suspicions.
The imposter seemed displeased though not surprised. Finally tearing his eyes off the mirror to stare ahead at the road.
After a few mumbled directions, the car pulled up to the familiar apartment complex of her best friend, and with an abrupt farewell to the lot, she slipped out of the vehicle. She could feel his eyes trained on her as she rushed into the building, not wanting to turn back once for fear of meeting that cruel, dark, soulless stare.
Sehun was little more than surprised to open his door and see his best friend, rattled beyond belief and on the brink of a meltdown, but he attempted to mask his shock by ushering in (y/n).
"What's up? Are you okay?" She was silent for a second, hesitant to speak. Afraid his ears were just as invasive as his eyes were. Afraid Sehun would brush her off just as the Byun family had. Afraid she truly was just going mad after all. But she needed answers either way.
"You know… Baekhyun?" She asked aloud, stepping cautiously to the window and peering out. As she suspected, they had driven off by now.
This time, Sehun was silent, though only for a few seconds before he snorted.
"Yeah, I know your boyfriend." His voice had grown lighter, though still softened with concern. "Is everything alright?"
"How would you describe him?" Her response had come quicker this time, staring out from the apartment's vantage point as if maybe she could see them.
"I don't know. Hyperactive. Funny. Bit of a loser."
"Physical characteristics." Another moment of silence before Sehun sighed.
"Good looking fellow. Serious case of baby face. Bit of a shorty." At this, (y/n) whirled around, an aghast expression across her face as she stared at her friend in bewilderment.
"You can't be serious." Sehun was visibly perturbed, having taken a seat at his couch with his head leant against his propped arm on the headrest. His eyes widened, a slight frown marring his features whilst he digested the sudden shift in (y/n). "Baekhyun is tall, well above your height. He has big eyes and big ears. He has dimples and freckles and tattoos. He–"
"(y/n), what's going on?" Sehun cut her off, slowly standing to approach the now breathless girl who was steaming from her sudden outburst.
"You… They… Baekhyun… You're… You're all trying to make me lose my mind, and to be honest it's kind of working."
She began prattling on once more, descriptions of the Baekhyun she knew and loved, the one that is seemingly nowhere to be found. And as she did so, Sehun wandered off, letting her go off to absolutely no one at all, until he came back, picture frame in hand. Wordlessly, he handed it over to her, waiting until her shaky fingers grasped the image.
A group photo from their hiking trip last year, the three of them plus their friends, Jongin and Jongdae. It was one she was quite familiar with, one that hangs in the hallway to Sehun's room. And the order went as followed: Sehun, Jongdae, (y/n), Baekhyun, and then Jongin. Everything should've been as it usually is, all except one minor detail.
This was not Baekhyun. This was the imposter.
She revolted from the photo, gasping as she all but tossed it away from her. It landed on the couch with a muted thud, though Sehun couldn't care less about the image, more so focused on his friend who had now collapsed on the ground, gasping for air and clenching at her convulsing chest.
"(y/n), stay with me," he rushed to comfort her, gathering her in his arms and patting her back as soothingly as he could muster, though nothing seemed to do the trick. Her eyes had remained on the dreaded image where that creature had seamlessly replaced the real Baekhyun. It had to have been edited. It had to have been a cruel ploy. Her mind told her otherwise, but it couldn't be true. This couldn't be real. None of this made sense.
Frantically, she pulled out her phone, unlocking it with trembling hands before bursting into tears once more.
Right there, her home screen which usually displayed a photo of her and Baekhyun seated in front of a fountain was now replaced with that of her and the imposter. It felt sickening to see such an image. Leant against this thing with pure tenderness seeping from her eyes, all while he merely mimicked the sentiment, a smile on his face that made her skin crawl.
Suddenly, another wave of nausea hit, and she dashed out of Sehun's embrace and to the bathroom. By the time her friend had caught up, she had already emptied her stomach of its contents, now weeping at the toilet bowl with such hopeless resignation. An exhaustion weighed upon her shoulders as she sobbed recklessly to herself, and all Sehun could do was comfort her to the best of his abilities.
Cleaning off her face and helping her out of the bathroom, he guided her to the guest bedroom, laying beside her as she cried and cried until finally she gave up and fell asleep.
Tumblr media
The next day, Sehun was driving (y/n) to her apartment. If she was going to be staying with him, she needed her necessary items.
She didn't want to come. She never wanted to see that imposter ever again. And while Sehun offered to retrieve her things on his own, she felt too grateful to her friend to have him do anything more. She'll collect whatever she needs and bid this imposter farewell. At least until she can find out where the real Baekhyun was.
The walk to the apartment was unnerving to say the least, as was willingly unlocking the door to the devil's den.
It was silent at first as they stepped in, and for a second she felt hopeful that maybe he wasn't here. Nevertheless, she clung to Sehun, eyes roving over the familiar yet ever foreign area. Bittersweet memories came flooding back to her as she scanned over the living space she had once shared with her boyfriend for years on end. Memories of the two cooking together, napping on the couch together, laughing and crying together. Living out their ever mundane lives, but doing so as a couple.
Fear laced her whole being, tentative steps guiding her further into the unknown. Her shaky eyes darted to and fro, awaiting for the creature to pounce upon her like she were some prey. And if she looked manic beyond belief, Sehun didn't comment, entertaining her suspicions by remaining as quiet as can be. Though even with these precautions taken, it was not enough to conceal their presence from the thing which lurked in the silence of the once warm abode.
"(y/n), is that you?" A voice rang forth from the hallway, startling and prompting her to whirl around and face the man who was beginning to haunt her every waking thought.
There he stood, light hair tousled haphazardly, cheeks rounded and red with mirth, the image of innocence, yet with those dark, perceptive eyes that burrowed into her being. With every approaching step, (y/n) ducked behind Sehun, discomfort riddling her body.
"I was worried after yesterday." The man chuckled weakly, still staring at (y/n) even as she attempted to hide from his view. "How's it going, Sehun?"
"As good as it gets, I guess," Sehun responded casually. His mannerism disturbed (y/n). This man shouldn't know who Sehun is, nor should Sehun know who he is. Yet they acted as if friends for years now. The images were damning, something which couldn't have been fabricated without her knowing, yet she refused to accept this development unfolding before her.
"Thank you for taking care of (y/n) for the time being. I can take it from here." Those words had a cold sweat forming over her skin, and she clung to Sehun's shirt with a desperate grip. As mundane as his intentions seemed, there was something sinister beneath the syntax of his phrasing—something she did not want to find out any time soon.
"Actually, given the circumstances and (y/n)'s condition, we thought it would be best if she stay at my place for a while. At least until things settle down."
The man was silent for a moment. A thick tension settled in the air, but perhaps it was only perceptible to her, as Sehun remained unmoving. With a daring glance, (y/n) looked at him from behind Sehun, though he seemed to have regained his composure, offering her another sly, mischievous smile.
"Of course. That seems to be the best option for now."
The Baekhyun imposter remained seated in the kitchen, his eyes trained on (y/n) as she piled up her bags at the front door. It left an ache in the pit of her stomach, removing herself from what she's always considered her home, but at this point, these four walls felt like a foreboding prison to her. Nothing like the tenderness offered by her real Baekhyun—her true home.
A momentary pang in her heart disrupted her momentum, and Sehun picked up on it, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.
"Let's take a break for now, yeah? You've done a lot."
Bringing her to the kitchen was easier said than done. Baekhyun had laid out glasses of water for the three of them, and he merely sat there resting his chin in his hand, wearing that sickeningly sweet grin of his that had goosebumps appearing all along her body. Sitting across from him was unnerving, though bearable with Sehun beside her.
The two got to talking, discussing Baekhyun's trip and such. (y/n) paid no mind to his games, staring down at her drink and waiting for the time to pass. It couldn't come sooner. The longer she stayed, the further she grew from her sanity. As if in a perpetual panic mode, her body was beginning to grow weary from being on edge for so long.
"I'm going to use the restroom really quick." She shot upright at Sehun's announcement, looking at him with sheer terror in her eyes, but Sehun just shot his gaze over to Baekhyun and back to her. 'Talk to him.'
With Sehun gone, this marked the first time she'd ever be alone with this Baekhyun. It was difficult to move for a moment after he had left, that heavy yet increasingly familiar sensation of the man's eyes lingering on her was particularly daunting. Eventually, with all the gathered bravado she had left in her system, she slowly turned to face him, eyes shakily raising to meet his own.
And there it was. That cocky, egotistical smile, practically splitting his face with its breadth. His hands were neatly folded on the table's surface, his undivided attention on none other than her. And it seemed that innocent guise he'd been inhibiting since his untimely arrival had dissipated, fully showing his true character in all its conniving glory.
"Hello, (y/n)." His voice dripped with malice, and the sudden heavy state of the atmosphere had her feeling queasy as she recoiled into her seat. Though Baekhyun was undeterred by her reclusiveness, instead beginning to lean forward on the table. "I have a feeling you don't seem to like me anymore."
"You're not Baekhyun." (y/n) bit back, pushing through the quickly forming lump in her throat as the man opposite her glowered down at her. Though upon hearing her words, a smirk settled across his lips.
"I'm not Baekhyun?" His words were mocking, the sort of patronizing tone taken when dealing with children. His head quirked to the side, smile widening even more—almost unnatural for a human to produce with how it seemed to have no real end to it.
She shook her head, arms coiling around herself defensively as he watched her. The sensation of his eyes on her was quite possibly the most abnormal, hostile feeling she's ever experienced in all her life. Feeling like mere cattle fodder to him. As minuscule as humanly possible.
Though this sensation wasn't a mere predatory stance upon her. As she squirmed beneath his gaze upon her, the realization of it all slowly dawned upon her. This was beyond anything of this mortal realm. This wasn't anything human at all. The creature before her wasn't anything human.
Instead, with that twisted expression of his contorting his face entirely, dark eyes sharpened with something sinister broiling within them, it made more sense to attribute his existence to something… supernatural. Something which couldn't make sense. Something with the intention of causing harm at all costs.
To make matters worse, this disturbing, almost demonic chuckle resonated from the Baekhyun across from her. A boisterous laughter which wasn't anything like she'd heard before, yet retained his exact voice, stirring another bout of unease from her at the mere sound of it. Like he was nothing more than a puppet for someone's use. Like the Baekhyun across from her was just an illusion.
"Oh, you're so brave, (y/n)." The voice which came forth was laced with venom, practically all restraints for this persona he had taken now evaporated into nothing as he unveiled the full extent of his true character. "So naive, so stupid."
His hand slammed against the table, abrupt and violent in its manner, prompting a cry from (y/n) as she finally released the sobs that had been kept at bay throughout this endeavor, up until this point. A sickening crack coincided with the gesture, and she wasn't sure whether it came from the table splintering beneath his fist, or the bones of his hand which must've dealt damage with the ferocity of his action.
And in a most vile and malevolent manner, he spat out his next words, veins bulging from his neck with a sadistic scowl thrusted upon her, shooting forward as much as the table permitted him.
"I am Baekhyun, because the other guy no longer fucking exists."
Sehun came rushing in shortly afterwards upon hearing (y/n)'s cries, only to find her cowering in the corner, hands yanking at her hair as she released a guttural scream akin to someone bearing witness to atrocities beyond their recognition. All the while, Baekhyun remained seated, expression passive and unchanging, watching (y/n) lose her sanity as if the scene were nothing more than a spectacle for his own amusement.
He didn't know what happened between them. Even after she had gone through weeks of silence and listlessness, she never spoke of that fated conversation. And even if he wanted to get Baekhyun's take on the matter, he couldn't. Because shortly after he had come back from his trip, he disappeared without another trace.

Loki is the only thing my adhd brain is able to think about right now. And by “right now” I mean: the whole past week and probably the next five weeks too. I think I need to log out of Tumblr for a few days. (I’m not saying I will though.)

You know what? Just because you’d be able to talk my ears off with LuckyBoy!AU, I’m gonna keep asking you about it with long asks so I can get long answers (I love reading long answers since they give out so much info and speculation, while leaving room for discussion as well). So let's have a chat through asks so neither of us have anxiety(?) while talking to each other in messages.
Who would be some of the regulars when Ben is working at the cooffe shop? (I also love this au XD) Would Cooper, Rook, Gwen, Max and/or anyone else go at the same time as a group and have a casual conversation with the barista? Would Ben accidently gain confidential information about the Plumbers this way? I wonder if he would be famous between the aliens and humans near Undertown as one of the few humans that's actually chill with every alien regardless of appearances thanks to knowing Gwen with the Omnitrix from before?
I feel like Ben purposefully avoiding Cooper as his vigilante persona would start as a measure to avoid his identity being exposed (I belive it was Cooper who exposed him in UAF, right?), but later would develop into a troll play, waiting for him to finally find him and play a prank there.
Would Ben play pranks on Will Harangue for giving him bad publicity to the humans? I mean, it's not like he can just appear in front of a camera and tell his side of the story, he would be captured instantly, or interrupted at the very least; and he having his own social media wouldn't work too well since he isn't a tech genius and the Plumbers could track him down.
Also, what has Gwen done that they think they need Ben to protect them from her? Like yeah, in OV there's a lot of property damage, but they don't believe they need protection from him (at least I don't think so), so she must've done something big in order for that to happen.
And now an ask that isn't directly related to Ben XD Who would be some of the people leading an investigation against the vigilante, trying to discover his identity as well as species? Like I imagine Rook would be more of an addon to said investigation, being on the lookout but not actively investigating everything that Ben has been involved with, and Gwen has a lot on her plate, so let's not let her join said investigation.
Oh oh oh, I just thought about it, if Ben could be considered an Anodite in this AU, what happened when Verdona appeared in that one episode of AF? Did she manage to find Ben in the first place and almost but not quite take him away? Does the rest of the family know he's an Anodite and what are their thoughts about it? If they don't then how would Ben explain some of the magic things that he does and someone witness?
Ohohoh, buttering me up are ya? Well you're in for a brain dump.
Ok, first I gotta say: The alien cafe is separate to the plumbers (the plumbers have their on cafeteria, but like to indulge in other food sometimes, and non-instant coffee.)
So I was thinking, one of Ben's regular coworkers is Alan Albright. Reason for this is because Alan is not allowed to go on missions often. He's too young. I mean I know they definitely have child soldiers in OS- buuuut Max's influence has put a stop to that. He's seen how it affected Gwen. So, Alan is put on easy patrols in low crime area, in the city.
Alan, however wants in on the action, so Max had suggested the cafe. Ben and Alan have a very brotherly bond, and Ben (outside of his vigilante life) has been swaying Alan's opinion on both, the plumbers and his alter ego.
Manny, Alan, Helen and Cooper- When not busying himself with the tech lounge- (sorry, Pierce is still dead in this), will often come by the cafe, they sit in a booth and discuss things. Most occasions Ben is invited to sit with them.
When Gwen pops by their interactions are brief, Ben would try to tease her about anything and everything under the sun. "See Kevin lately?" "Oh, got beat by the walking glow stick again, huh?" "Geez, another jail break? 3rd time this week!"
Normally he gets a fiery reaction and a nasty retort.
Of course Ben would take every opportunity he can to get info. At first it wasn't intentional, he'd just eaves drop on a few conversations that interested him. As time goes by though, he's found that a lot of people, plumber, criminal and just outer space travelers, are more than happy to unload some gossip. Ben is very much delighted by that.
He's not exactly famous, he's well known for being a friendly person, yes. But not all throughout Undertown.
ain't cooper the blond dude with some kinda telekenetic power that ended up turning into an almost Kevin duplicate? (i'll fix that) NGL I forgot he grew up in UAF.
Pretty sure the one that exposed Ben was the nerd who was voiced by the VA of Robin (TeenTitans/Go). Now that you bring it up though, that guy... Jimmy, is someone to be avoided, cause he's a snoopy guy. Who also hangs out at the cafe a lot to get details. Always ends up harassing Ben cause he knows Ben has all the juicy gossip.
And yeah Ben would totally take advantage of it to mess with the poor kid.
Definitely. Ben would mess with Will Harangue as much as possible. Especially when he goes live. Ben won't confront him personally, or do anything that could possibly reveal his indentity. He's got a lot of unique mannerisms that his family could quickly pick up on, there's also his voice, although muffled by the mask, if it's recorded enough- it's another identifier.
So that leaves Ben with his sticker trail. They're very bright, almost blinding, so Ben's stickers are an annoying inconvenience. He could also use a weak spell that causes it's victims to yawn/sneeze. Maybe he'll hang in the background briefly and wave. Just some of things he does to get under Harangue's skin basically.
Gwen:
So, you picked up on what I've hinted at. Good.
Before I go into Gwen, I'll say this: The plumbers are stationed on Earth to protect humanity. That means the aliens who have immigrated are less of a priority. That doesn't mean that they're completely unsafe, the plumbers still patrol Undertown and look after the people- just less so.
Aliens that leave Undertown especially- Normally they're ushered back by a few Plumbers standing guard- those that pose a threat or seem to pose a threat are dealt with by the plumbers. Which isn't too bad, just a slap on the back, a fine, maybe jail time.
Unless you run into Gwen. Who is much more intimidating, much more brutish, she won't exactly hold back. So- she hasn't got the best rep with Undertown. She's still a hero. Known throughout the universe. Just not a kind one.
On several occassions, Ben(vigilante) has had to step in to get her to back down from dealing with criminals.
The plumbers don't have a lot to go on with the investigating. Ben doesn't leave any DNA trails, cause anodites have no DNA. No hair strands, no finger prints, no blood. Even his stickers. They got nothing, nada.
That doesn't mean it's completely hopeless. A clean hit to Ben has on more than one occasion shocked him out of his anodite form, reverting him back to human (which is why he has the glasses and face mask, as a just incase scenario.) Sometimes even spooking/shocking him can make him human again. If his focus is messed with he's human, kinda deal.
So the plumbers are aware of this. They do their best to be as violent and destructive when they see Ben. They're attempts usually fail unless they have someone competent enough with them, Ie; Gwen, Rook.
Villains are also aware of this. So risky buiz am I right?
In regards to Verdona; honestly, I feel like having her know about Ben's existence as an anodite would kinda nerf this whole thing completely. Verdona, I bet, would be a massive gossip. Although her contact with Max is limited, he'd hear about it eventually. Game over. There's also Sunny, who would take advantage of this information and spread it across the universe.
So instead maybe Verdona pays a visit later rather than now.
She'd also be less inclined to take Ben back home, I like how Verdona is indifferent to Ben but loves Gwen, I wanna keep that aspect.
To explain any magic happenings that his family or friends have spotted, he just says he's practicing to be an illusionist. Or he broke a glow stick, or his has glitter in his pocket. (He always has something retaining to magenta hidden up his sleeve.)
Hopefully that got all your questions answered for now!

Liza that 3rd fragman 👀 "if I was born a 100 times I'd fall in love with you everytime" Eda saying this is their last obstacle and nothing can separate them, serkan's "I'll be right back, close your eyes I'm here" If this isn't all a red flag for shits about to hit the fan then I don't know what is LOL (but also how cute to Edser look and them telling each other they love each other very much 😭😭😭)
That fragman is both the SWEETEST and the MOST OMINOUS thing I’ve ever seen. ALL AT ONCE.
Friends... we’re gonna go through some things.  That being said, everything is going to be great. These writers have been solid so far, and I have faith they have come up with something really interesting to increase the longevity of this show. And I don’t know about you, but I’m prepared to go through some things if it means keeping Eda and Serkan for longer.  (I heart them)
This show is about Eda and Serkan and their love story, at it’s core it’s a comedy, it will all lead to happy things, but... yeah, buckle up!
I have a lot of asks both about the fragman and last ep, so I’m going to answer a bunch under the cut.
Anonymous said: The fandom theories about episode 28 have gotten so wild that I literally think the most shocking thing would be if they actually got married and were not separated (emotionally or physically). What if the earlier painful episodes were to make us believe that things couldn't possibly go right in 28 and it's a reverse psychology trick?
You could be right!  I like your thinking. I checked on twitter and I had to back away slowly. The juvenile temper tantrums were too much for me today.
Look, I think it’s clear something big is coming. It has to, there has to be something that shakes up the show. Some of the theories are more upsetting and catastrophic than others, but the writers won’t do anything that dings either character or their love for one another.  Whatever happens will showcase the connection between these two and the chemistry between the actors, that’s the point of everything, and anything that does those things is gonna be a-okay with me.
@jan31 Hi Liza. Do you think we are going to see the wedding in 28 or they will leave it on a cliffhanger for next week. Lots of theories going round mainly cos of Neslihan saying new dimensions coming in episode 29, which could just mean married life etc. I have seen suggestions of memory loss, it's all a dream since episode one. I would personally love Eda to wake up like in episode one but for it to be a total turn around and she is the boss and Serkan the employee. Eda being robot yildiz appeals to me!!! I know it will never happen but leave me here with my dreams!!
I started the day at 90% sure they’ll be married in 28/29, but now I’m down to like 30% that they’ll get married in these episodes. I really, really want them to get married before whatever happens happens, because every scenario I can think of for this reset or starting again, seems like it would be better if they were married.
However, the shooting spoilers from today, make me question that. Namely the videos where Hande appears to still be wearing the ring on her right hand. We shall see, that could be for many reasons.
Honestly, though, I wouldn’t hate a memory loss storyline. Seeing one of them (and Serkan’s line in the trailer makes it seem like it might be him) lose their memory and have to fall in love all over again? There are worse fates for a shipper than getting to experience that all again but in a different way.
Anonymous said: Your response to the fandom drama anon was so good, it's exactly how I feel. While I don't know what the old posts that were like are (that's shady as fuck) I did see all the other drama go down and wow. The actresses def need to stay in their lane and some of the fans, hoooo boy, it's obvious they're young based off their reactions alone. Had to unfollow some people once I realized what they were like. Also some of the IRL shipping reminded me of col*fer stuff, reading into everything and blowing it out of proportion (which then gets picked up by paps....). But you're right in that at least the show related drama is tame compared to OUAT. But still, people being too careless even while they know the paps see everything and harass Kerem and hande (omg did you see the video of hande the other day stopped in the van and she looked so overwhelmed 😔)
You’re referencing this post here about yesterday’s drama.
Today Neslihan made it worse by addressing everything and claiming she didn’t like all those Hande-bashing posts because... wait for it... she was HACKED. Oy. Hackers got in and went back two years to like gross posts about Hande? Sure, Jan. While I don’t believe that for a second, I guess that at least gives her cover with Hande so they can all pretend it’s true and move on so it’s not awkward on set.  But, yikes, she needs to consult a publicist, she took a narrative that was circulating in certain circles in fandom and made sure all her followers were aware. Not very savvy.
As for the paps coming after Hande, yes I did see her in the car, she did look overwhelmed. Back off vultures!!! That’s why I think Kerem sometimes throws himself to the wolves so that doesn’t happen. She always handles them like a pro, but you can tell she’d rather be anywhere else on earth than talking to them.
The pap stuff is worse than I’ve seen before, they’re like vultures circling for any conjecture (sometimes made up out of thin air) they can turn into a question and blame fans. OUAT actors dealt with nothing like this. Also I can’t believe they never ask about the show. Like after last week? They could legit ask about the sex scene which probably would have given them some angle on the actors that they wanted, (especially since it was too hot for Turkish TV) but they let that pass them by, and instead asked the same questions about being together that they never answer. Dumbasses. They are not only awful people, they are awful at their jobs.
In Van, the paps pay off crew members for info, they always know more than fans. Also I don’t remember stars of my shows getting this level of tabloid attention before. Except for on Riverdale, Lili and Cole generated that level of interest, and while I didn’t pay terribly close attention to them, I feel like they rarely talked to the paps, were just photographed. Also I don’t suspected the CW of calling the paps on them, but I suspect either the network or production company of sometimes calling them on Hande and Kerem.
Anonymous said: Do you think it’s weird that they didn’t touch the kidnapping at all in either trailer? They might not have filmed it in time for the 1st one but certainly the 2nd. And I’m definitely not complaining about the ones we got because its like a fairytale but the kidnapping was the cliffhanger...? 🧐 I think they should’ve just left the princes storyline at “he went back to his country” but then they didn’t so......
If they’d left his story at just going back to his country, then the Prince really wouldn’t have served his purpose. He was brought on to cause some sort of trouble, so they probably need him to cause the trouble before he goes, lets hope it ends with this kidnapping!
And to answer your question, yes, I do think it’s weird that neither trailer touched on it. On any other show I’d think it was a huge red flag, but on this show maybe not as much because  a) there’s obviously a lot of romance in this episode, it’s not crazy that they are focusing on that to draw people in with the promos  b) this show likes to do cliffhangers that end up being no big deal, that happens a lot.
Who knows it could turn out to be a big deal that shapes the rest of the episode in some unexpected way (Eda’s captured the whole episode and she’s dreaming about wedding prep, or... who knows) but I think it’s more likely that they resolve in the first 5-10 minutes and then move on.  Since we know from the summary (not that I trust those) that Serkan goes on the bachelor weekend, it feels like the Prince is taken care of prior to that. I don’t think he’d leave her alone for a second if there was a chance the Prince was still a threat. Perhaps Babaanne is pissed he tried to kidnap Eda and tells them she’ll handle it herself???
Anonymous said: Semiha not being in the promo is highkey suspicious. The actress is promoting the episode lol. She's about to Evil Queen this wedding ceremony but you know what, I'm fine with whatever she has planned if they end up married at the end of the day. What's funny is that since a lot of fans these days will assume that there will be shocking negative plot twists, not actually having one here would be a plot twist so I hope the writers keep them together for whatever's next haha
You’re not wrong, at this point, having this wedding take place would be a shocking twist for all of us!  As for Semiha... hmmm... it will be interesting to see what her reaction is to Eda being kidnapped by her pick of suitor. Serkan Bolat might be the son of the man indirectly responsible for her parents death, but he would never hurt her. Take note, Grandbag!
Anonymous said: Do you mind sharing your speculative scenarios?
After the trailer today, I don’t know if I can even remember some of them.
Memory loss
Grandma forces Serkan to choose between Eda and his company/wealth,  he chooses Eda and they start over from scratch with nothing
Time jump
AU starting over, showing a different path they might have taken together
Dream
These actors playing different characters in a new story
I don’t think the last three are likely, but they did spring to mind after some of Neslihan’s teases.
Anonymous said: So this show doesn't get like fantastic ratings (it actually seems to be on the lower end compared to all other dizis airing) but the social media engagement is off the charts. Why is that?!? Is the show just extraordinarily popular internationally? or that this is a "shipping" show? I'm floored by the numbers - its like no other show/fandom is even trying
The ratings were terrific during the summer. But to your point, it has a huge fandom both in Turkey and internationally, but it’s worth noting that most of those charts you see where it beats every other show in every imaginable social metric is just for Turkey.
It’s one of those lightning in a bottle situations where you get the right property and the right actors together at the right time and magic happens.  And, for sure, the number one reason is the shipping. Shipping drives fandom engagement, and a fantastic ship with a juicy, fun, tropey love story is what this show offers. It also offers up two extremely attractive, talented, likeable leads with off-the-charts chemistry (plus the added speculation about an off-camera relationship that has intrigued more than a few fans, tabloids and gossip sites and fueled interest) who have done a good job of building the fanbase through their social media engagement. Plus the timing is part of it as well. I don’t know about you, but this show hit the spot during this pandemic and the horror of 2020. We all needed this escape.
Anonymous said:Do you think something happened in the writers room after the backlash of 25 and fan disappointment after Ayse's announcement? I feel like a switch flipped and now we're in fanficland with how much good content we've gotten in these last two episodes. Like I thought maybe they should wrap up the series soon before the characters got completely off the tracks but they may be finding their groove now and I'm interested to see what their next twist is after they can write out Balca/Seymen.
I don’t know about a switch flip, this show has been fanfic land since the first episode!  The tropes! That is how I described it to multiple people when I first started watching: an AU fanfic come to life.
As for the writing changes, no, I don’t think backlash after 25 affected 26 or 27, because 26 was already 90% shot, and 27 already written. However, I assume they themselves could tell that 25 got just too dark and had strayed pretty far from the DNA of the series. While I didn’t think it was bad, it was not fun to watch and this show ought to be fun to watch.
Let’s hope, however, that the backlash affects future episodes in that they know what works... and what doesn’t.  The last two episodes definitely felt reminiscent of the first batch of episodes. Light, funny, romantic. If they can keep that tone... I’ll be thrilled.
Anonymous said: i didn't realize how much i missed "together" edser until watching 27.. it's been so long since they were "officially" together and we also had such few episodes of it.. ppl have been comparing it to 12 and while in some ways i agree, edser are always so different here than they were there. 12 was them navigating their new relationship.. they were more shy and finding their footing.. here they are very much established, as they should be after knowing their love for so long in comparison to 12!
Yes, it was lovely. You know I’ve preached a lot about how even though Eda and Serkan were broken up, they’ve still been together all this time. And it’s true, but there is something about them truly being together that is magical. We never got enough of that the first time around (a writing mistake in my opinion) and they’re so good together it’s lovely to watch.
Anonymous said: Serkan not asking for help from Balca when asking his team for help with the marriage gifts preparations and refusing her offer of help when she asked made me so happy. Good job Serkan! He's learning! She's not trustworthy!
Yes, that was a good moment. And he was eyeing her very warily when she offered. The thing I don’t understand is how has no one caught on that she’s working with Babaanne? That entire office is filled with nosy people, has no one remarked on the number of times Balca has gone up to the office or they’ve disappeared for lunch at the same time? Come on Leyla! Come on Melo! Notice these things!
Anonymous said: Fingers crossed that we finally make progress towards getting rid of Seiman & Balca now that all the girls were drugged and Eda was put in the car in the last episode. Unless Seiman has a change of heart and takes Eda back inside before anyone wakes & the guys get there then the show has to address it. Although I do not think Balca is going to back down unless Serkan straight up tells her he has zero interest in her and never will. Totally fine if that happens in the next episode.
Will Balca backdown even if she’s humiliated like that? She’s so delusional I’m not sure. What I am sure is that she’s dangerous. This came in before we saw the other two fragmans that have no mention of the kidnapping. Hard to picture how that is so easily resolved. Unless she frees herself (which seems unlikely in her groggy state) or maybe Melo’s future boyfriend is able to stop it before they get far?  Or I don’t know. I just know that I want to see Serkan lose his mind and all the other characters see Serkan lose his mind and then I want it to be over. LOL.
Anonymous said: As much as I am loving everything Edser, I cannot wait for Seiman, Balca and Grandma to be gone. And I am even more annoyed to think that the show might try to redeem all 3 characters. All 3 of them are truly awful people and no need to waste air time trying to make the audience think any different. Just my opinion...🤷🏻‍♀️. Show please finally expose those 3 for the psychos they are and get rid of them.
Bye bitches!  I don’t think there’s any redemption for Balca and Seiman. They both have poisoned/dosed people, hard to come back from that.  And there is no need to redeem them because neither is compelling enough to be a long-term character. But maybe Granny, we probably will see a redemption arc for her.
Anonymous said: i know you were worried a few weeks ago that with ayse leaving as writer, we probably wouldn't have the same sort of comedy as previous episodes... but istg the whole kiz isteme scene, especially with chef alex, had me almost crying with laughter. especially when serkan off the cuff just goes "well if that's an option..." to everyone misunderstanding alex "wanting" ayfer for 2 nights and then eda ready to beat him with the flowers he bought her... comedic gold lmao.
SO GOOD! I was thrilled to see that sort of comedy, the sort of comedy we’d come to expect, from these writers. I think it bodes very well indeed!
That scene was amazing. I know Neslihan said that much of it was improvised. Probably that line from Serkan (since Serkan is SO out-of-his-mind in love I’m not sure he could even joke about having Eda only two nights a week! LOL) was improv from Kerem, and Aydan asking about the other nights, and Seyfi bringing up the weekend. And Eda’s very Hande-esque “Ser-KAN.”
I just love rewatching that scene and checking out everyone who is breaking character and just losing it. Cagri most of all. He’s blurred aback there but you can see Ferit spends the whole time laughing or trying to stifle a laugh. Reminds me of Cagri in the scene in 18 when they’re watching the security footage he was losing it in that scene as well.
Anonymous said: i'm scared - I think they are really about to give us all of these happy EdSer scenes only to have something happen RIGHT before the wedding ceremony due to Babaanne. Based on the last episode, I don't think there's any chance of a breakup (knock on wood) but what if Serkan gets arrested, goes to jail for 2 years, and we get a time jump?
This was sent before the last two teasers, so yes I think something is gonna happen. We shall see!  I don’t really think Serkan going to jail for 2 years is in the cards, at least I hope not!  Besides if Babaanne did that she would have no hopes of ever reconciling with Eda, so that seems unlikely she’d follow through and leave him there for so long a time.
Anonymous said: With the last week's sex scene, they did a lot of fade outs but the scene was basically still there so it wasn't much wasted effort for the actors. But for what they're teasing in episode 28 - idk how they can get away with showing them in the shower at all if Serkan lifting Eda with her clothes on had required blurring? Is Eda dropping her robe even pushing it? It's intriguing indeed.
Great questions. We’re 36 hours from finding out (well I'm longer than that because I wait for the English subs, hee hee) All I know is I want to see these scenes.. one way or another!

Thoughts on 1x02: Time To Start Living
Well, let's jump right in with my first thought: the title for this episode is ridiculously fitting, and not just because it's the name of the song that Theresa Capadiamonte sings at the end.
It's worth noting that the pilot "episode" for Signed, Sealed, Delivered actually originally aired as a TV movie, so even though this is now called episode 2 it's actually the first episode of the TV show. Anyway, the title for this episode is actually a direct reference to Oliver. I said in the last analysis I did that when we meet Oliver he's alive but he's not really living. He's not an active part of the world around him - he's basically in stasis waiting for his missing wife to come home (or do anything, really). This episode is all about breaking out of that stasis and both allowing himself to start living again, as well as learning how to do that.
And one way that Oliver does that? By stepping out of those boundaries that I mentioned previously. It's Oliver's idea to go find Owen/Casey that evening (the kid in witness protection) even though that's wildly out of their purview. Now, this episode apparently takes place a week after the pilot (Shane references her conversation with Oliver "last week" about his wife leaving him) - so, it's interesting that just a week after meeting Shane, Oliver is the one that decides they should drive North to Fort Collins - and the one who decides they should go find the kid. You might miss it at first, but this episode further establishes how alike Shane and Oliver really are at heart. Shane defaults to rebelling but will follow the rules when she agrees with them; Oliver defaults to rule-following but will rebel when it's for greater good. (Oliver is lawful good, Shane is chaotic good).
This episode establishes a lot of Oliver's character for us. We learn that family is important to him and that he loved his grandfather a lot (despite not having had a lot of time with him); that he is protective (which is really what spurs him into action this episode because he wants to protect Casey); that he's empathetic and nurturing (the way he hugs Norman at the end when he learns that the friend he made at the nursing home has passed away); and that he's a private person (he won't tell Shane what he did over the weekend even though the week prior he told her about his wife).
Since this is mostly an establishing episode and is mainly about introducing more of Oliver to the audience, so the letter story in this one is more of a mirror for Oliver than it is for Oliver and Shane. But, that doesn't mean that the episode itself doesn't further enforce and establish that connection between the two of them, because it definitely does. And it does so through physical proximity ... again.
Seriously, these two have no concept of "personal space." Scratch that - their personal space just happens to include each other, apparently. In the overwhelming majority of the scenes that they are in together, Oliver and Shane are standing (or sitting) with little to no space between them. Again, this visually clues us in to the pull and attraction they feel to one another before we're given any other solid indications of it. One of the things that I find so fascinating about body language is that it's subconscious line of communication a majority of the time. We don't have to say a word and our brains will still find a way to broadcast our intentions and underlying feelings in a way that other people can pick up on without consciously realizing it. This is essentially what mirroring is and what it's meant to do. Mirroring is when we copy another person's behavior/actions/words: i.e. you start using another person's turns of phrase, or you physically mirror the way they're standing. (Oliver and Shane do this all the time and it's so fun to see and pick up on.)
Here are a few gifs to demonstrate what I've been talking about. Remember how I said that no one physically gets between Oliver and Shane? Well, here's everyone at the Mailbox Grille, and where is Theresa sitting? Between Rita and Norman.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, here are Oliver and Shane:
Tumblr media
Not only are they sitting next to each other, they're actually overlapping. They're not touching, but they would be if Shane leaned back or Oliver leaned forward. In fact, if you watch this scene you'll see that they're sitting so close to one another that their arms are practically touching for basically the whole scene. It'll also give you a better idea of how overlapping they really are: Shane's arm on the table is actually resting where Oliver's arm was moments before.
And we have this scene:
Tumblr media
Oliver could have chosen to move to Rita's other side, but he naturally gravitates to the space between Shane and Rita - and he stands closest to Shane. For no reason ... other than he subconsciously wants to be close to her.
And this one:
Tumblr media
First of all, look how flirty these idiots are being. It's so cute. Second of all, they're both displaying signs of attraction here: Oliver licks his lips and has raised eyebrows to go along with his smile - both are an indication of interest. Shane isn't quite licking her lips, but she is either running her tongue over her teeth or something similar (which also indicates interest and attentiveness). If you don't believe me, do a quick Google search. Not that it should be hard to believe: in the context of this moment literally everything is screaming "flirting", and you picked up on it even if you didn't realize it.
But also, look at how they overlap again. They literally bump shoulders. They have no concept of personal space or personal bubbles and they've barely known each other for, what ... a week at this point? Ten days? That chemistry and attraction was immediate, folks.
And I love that everyone else naturally seems to know not to get between them. Even Norman, who is ... oblivious? to social cues and interest/attraction somehow naturally knows not to get between Oliver and Shane.
Well, that's all for episode two. Did you pick up on anything I missed?
Next on the docket: episode three!

Now for your weekly review of Imitation^^
I am ince again asking the fans to leave istg. Nooooooo of coourse they're not sasaengs how do you dare to say that!!!!!! Can they just fuck off honestly
The whole hotel scenes were fun tho apart from that, like i love those kinda hiding scenes they are so hilarious. Accidental touches my beloved as well something about them just yeah. I think those scenes here really serve as some kind of turning point for ryeoc? Like noticing that 'oh i kinda like her more than i should huh' and even tho the cause of that scenario wasn't great the outcome was nice.
As you said last time, yujin really does start to feel kind of off? Like it's subtle but smth isn't quite right i think.
We got a lot of Shax content this episode huh? Getting to know their dynamic is nice as well. And hyuk immediately going to the fans does kinda feel like a jongho thing haha. Also blue hair dude (omfg i forgot his name) going 'you don't have any friends beside us' was just funny. Also yeah hyuk kick his ass and get him to fucking do smth.
Sparkelingdoes kind of feel off as a whole group? The only like really friendly interaction we've seen are the ones between san and seonghwa yk? It's really weird. Also umagine working your ass off for three years without any pay💀
I'm really happy for tea party that they all get like solo opportunities? It's what they deserve (also where can we get those yujin shoots👀) Also that meeting with the gans was so cute uwu
Well maha and ryeoc have each others numbers now and he is at her dorm (the fucking stairs istg haha) so this is gonna get interesting i think^^
I still don't like the NOG Ceo but at least his manager is nice, i like their dynamic.
I also love the small backstories in the end, they are very interesting.
Apparently Eunjo and the girl that died dated???? What???? The backstory is expandingggggg. Also who was that guy in the café? I'm so bad at faces, do we know this man? And i'm not sure what to think of that reporter that appeared in the beginning.
That's all for today^^
-Xon^^
XON I'M SO GLAD TO SEE YOU!!
this episode has my emotions all over the place pls i might just explode
the fans have to seriously chill... i mean it's really nice that they're on good terms with the idols, but they're taking it too far with the whole "protection" thing... the manager calling them out and saying they're just like the stalker fans tho i laughed
ALL THE HOTEL SHENANIGANS JUST GOT ME SCREAMING AHHHHH!!! i'm starting to ship them (sorry yujin) but at the same time, i agree that this is a turning point for Ryoc! (how do we even spell his name??) but ahhh it was so fun watching him fall for her >:)))
the way Maha is the only one who can make him smile :') ahh i hate romance why am i shipping them
yujin tho! MODEL. AHHH. but i'm kinda wondering the whole yujin/hyunji plot now... it's obvious she likes him but idkkk she's just so sweet and i know she's gonna be crushed like i wanna protect her :(( but at the same time i think they'd be cute together? if yujin paid her more attention at least...
yes!! SHAX's dynamic is so cute~ i'm glad we get to see them more as a group :)) Hyuk is easily one of my favourite characters... it's like they just told Jongho to be himself aksfgdjf 😅😅 the part where Ryoc was brushing his teeth and then laughed to himself and the cut to Hyuk just judging him was hilarious i loved it so much <3
Dojin (the blue haired guy!) is sooooo cuteeee ahhhhh he's so effortlessly funny omg :')) Ryoc trying to tell him about his problem was so funny ahhh just...this entire episode was so funny i loved it so muchhhh 💞💞 'I HAVE FRIENDS' yeah sure :')
Tea Party is like the cutest group ever... their concept is cute and their friendship is so cute and wholesome like... ahh :((( im devastated ><
WHY DID THEY END AT THE STAIRS I CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK GOSHDAMNIT >:((( but Maha looked kinda sad then? and she was coming back from somewhere? i have a feeling that whole scenario is gonna be a case of bad timing...
the guy in the cafe... you mean the guy that walked in with his backpack? that was Eunjo 😅😅 i'm glad they're developing his backstory tho that's awesomeeee
BUT BUT BUT THAT GUY FROM SPARKLING!! HYEON-OH? is that his name? idk but i hate him :/ BUT THEN!! in the epilogue, we saw that he was a trainee for SHAX... and then he's also dating an NOG trainee... i'm very curious what's up with him... my brain is a whole ass conspiracy board with the red threads and everything
Sparkling is kinda off yeah i agree... feel bad tho that Minsoo and Seyoung are just always getting scolded and getting caught in the middle... my boys :(
also idk if you saw my reply but... that HyunA fancam you requested? i didn't get any reply from the owner so i'm not going to gif that... i'm so sorry 😭😭

7 Contracts
Warning: This story contains fetish content, specifically male weight gain.
So I've been playing Ob/ey M/e! recently and I love the cast. Even if the game is pretty standard oto/me fare.
Did not feel like describing 7 characters appearance, especially since this was a sour of the moment thing that I'm not sure if I'll continue so here's an an image of what they look like lol.
Tumblr media
Left to Right
Lucifer, Mammon, Leviathan, Satan, Asmodeus, Beezlebub, Belphegor.
Wg is kinda just there but not much. This was more of a silly thing
_______________
"So, any plans on fixing this?" Satan grabs his stomach, the fresh layer of pudge slotting itself in between his hands, and shakes it. "Cause last I checked, and last you checked, and last everyone else checked, that human had no ability to take advantage of our pacts," Satan vehemently spits out the last word, teeth clenching. He stares at Lucifer who merely continues to sit at his desk.
Lucifer puts his pen down, the metal utensil clacking against the wood. "I don't know how to fix this, Satan," Lucifer impassively stares back at Satan, his shoulders sagging. Lucifer puts up his hand as Satan goes to speak. "And no, I will not go to Lord Diavolo concerning this matter. Drop the issue," Lucifer the eldest and strongest, Satan bites his cheek.
"Doesn't matter if you go to Diavolo!" A new voice sounding through, Asmodeus cheerfully walks inside. Smiling, his skimpy crop top shows the noticeable bulge of his stomach, his booty shorts rising up on his ass. "The dumb human is too busy with stupid Mammon," Asmodeus puffs out his cheeks. "So I decided to see what other interesting things were happening,"
Lucifer stands up, glaring down at Asmodeus; Satan moves to the side, no longer in the way of a sudden tackle or blast of energy. "Asmodeus, explain. And quickly please,"
"Well, Diavolo made you make a pact with the human in exchange for forgetting about the whole matter of treason," Satan's eyes widen from Asmodeus' words.
"Of course, Lord Diavolo was kind enough to lighten-"
"Diavolo can discern the truth. He knew this was going to happen," Satan holds his head with his hand, staring at the floor.
"Lord Diavolo would never do such a thing!" Lucifer shouts, eyes on Satan now.
"I guess you're right," Asmodeus shrugs. "But!" He puts up a sausage finger. "We'll never know unless we ask Di-"
Satan preemptively turns around, barely flinching when he hears the crunch of the wall.
Lucifer holding Asmodeus' wrists, he pins him to the wall, a sizeable portion dented. "You are expressly forbidden to do such a thing," Asmodeus grins up at Lucifer. "Am I clear, Asmodeus,"
"Clearer than a sunny day!" Lucifer lets go of Asmodeus. "I'm sure we're all fine without any help, none of us are complaining~," Asmodeus winks at them.
"I've been complaining!" Satan denies.
"You only started once the human got bored with you," Asmodeus only slightly weaker than Satan, he dodged out of the punch thrown his way. "That's the way the cookie crumbles, sadly," Asmodeus frowns, pushing his bangs out of his eyes. "Us three don't exactly personify the best trait for what the human is doing to us," Asmodeus sighs as he rests his hand on his cheek, his other hand on his gut.
"Lucifer is pride, so it's no wonder he's still as slim as ever," Asmodeus ignores the spike of energy that surges behind him from Lucifer's glare. "You're wrath; which isn't bad but it's not good. But me! I'm lust! The human should be putty in my hands. It's not fair," Lamenting his cruel fate, Asmodeus melodramatically puts his arm to his forehead. Asmodeus turns from a hand placed on his shoulder
"Asmodeus, get out of my room," Lucifer commands, irritated. "Satan, you as well,"
"He's probably mad cause I pointed out how little time the human has spent with him," Asmodeus 'whispers' to Satan, Asmodeus barely bothering to lower his voice.
"He did form a pact last," Satan retorts back, the two grinning as they scamper out of Lucifer's room.
The door slammed shut behind them, the two look at each other.
"Well, I'm going back to the human!" Asmodeus announces, about to scamper off again before Satan grabs him by the wrist.
"I'm going too," Satan looks the other way, blushing. "And shut up, so what if I was jealous? So is everyone else in this damn house,"
"Glad you could finally admit it," Asmodeus gloats before rushing off.
Satan growls. Childish behavior expected of Asmodeus, he can't really share in his idiotic antics. Letting Asmodeus reach the human first, he follows him.
The human unaware of the two approaching demons, he simply keeps feeding Mammon.
Currently lying down, Mammon rests his head on the human's lap with his eyes closed. Gargantuan gut rising far above him, it spreads out far, his shirt too small to contain it. His pants busted at the seams, bits of his boxers are visible, Mammon's fatty thighs seeping through the tears.
Mammon lazily lifts up an arm, the effort taxing at his size, and pats his stomach. "It's great to see you appreciate how wonderful I am!" Mammon gloats, the occurrence often now. "The handsomest, smartest, intelligentest of us, I, the great Mammon," Leaving his mouth open, he closes it as the human lowers the grape vine.
"Boooring," Popping through the open door, Asmodeus frowns at the sight.
"I was thinking pathetic," Satan adds, snickering. "Stupid Mammon doesn't even know it's most handsome and most intelligent,"
"Hey!" Flailing, Mammon struggles to bring himself up, out of breath. His gut wobbles in the air as he remains stuck on his back like a turtle. "A little help here," He whimpers, lightly sweating.
Satan and Asmodeus ignore Mammon; instead, they keep their attention focused on the human who smiles at Mammon.
"You, you gotta be stronger than that!" The human's hands holding Mammon's he tugs to help him up. Mammon's gut in the way, he gives up. "Too tired, I need more food," He whines.
"Talking about nothing but food is Beezlebub's shtick," Satan rolls his eyes at Mammon's helpless state.
"He is the demon of greed; guess he went from being greedy for money to being greedy for food," Asmodeus giggles, hand brought to his lips. Walking up to Mammon, Asmodeus leans on him, digging his elbows into his stomach. "Good thing you're so dumb and left yourself helpless, cause we're taking the human for ourselves,"
"Get off of me!" Mammon continues flailing. "And like hell you will!"
"We will," Satan smiles, placing a hand on the human.
"It's supposed to be my turn," Waddling through, Leviathan struggles with the doorway, his hips getting themselves stuck. "And if you take away my turn…" Leviathan bares his teeth at them, shaking as he clenches his fists. Breaking himself free, he stands right in front of the door, blocking their means of escape. Obese, his body is pear shaped, his thighs clashing against each other as his bell shaped stomach sags halfway to his knees. In lounge-wear, his sweatpants cling to and accentuate his wide hips; his sweatshirt rests somewhat loosely on his body.
"Now Levi, just cause you're the demon of envy," Asmodeus backs away, hands up. "There's no need to be upset, besides, it was all Satan's idea!" Asmodeus hides behind Mammon.
"Hey! I'm not some inanimate object to do whatever you want!"
"Unless it's the human," Satan quips, smiling as Mammon gets red.
"He should be happy that I even offer to spend time with him, if-"
"Shut up!" Angered from hearing them talk about the human, Leviathan takes a step forward.
Satan pushes the human to Leviathan, hiding behind Mammon as well.
"What are-" Mammon ends up silenced as Satan and Asmodeus roll him over and help him stand up.
"You're stronger than Leviathan, so do something about him!" Asmodeus pushes Mammon, Mammon not even budging.
Leviathan meanwhile happily smiles at the human, his prize obtained. "I hope those brutes didn't dirty you in any way. I'd be no worse than stupid Mammon if they did,"
"That's not possible," Satan and Asmodeus reply, Leviathan agreeing.
"Do you want me to help or not?" Mammon sighing, he rests his hands on his knees. "I think I need to lie down…"
Asmodeus and Satan busy making sure Mammon doesn't quit on them, Leviathan ignores them.
"Let's go, you owe me a handmade bento just like in episode 7 of-" Leviathan bumped into, he glares behind him, tugging the human closer to himself.
"You're all too loud," Belphegor yawns, his doughy arms sagging as he lazily lifts them. Fat, he moobs bounce as he makes his way to Mammon's bed and lies down on it. Simply wearing boxers, modesty unimportant, his nearly nude body jiggles as he makes himself comfortable.
"The human is here, where's the food?" Beezlebub shows up after Belphegor, munching on pizza. Beezlebub's metabolism working against him, he remains chunky, his paunch of a stomach resting snugly in his shirt.
"Great, like we really needed sloth and gluttony here," Asmodeus murmurs to himself, talking about Belphegor and Beezlebub respectively.
"Too many people here…" Leviathan groans, clenching his teeth.
Everyone chiming in with their own complaints, the room ends up in chaos. No one paying attention, none of them notice the human chanting under his breath.
A black puff of smoke appearing catches all six of their attention. Lucifer summoned, he scoffs at seeing all of them.
"Are you all so pathetic that I need to fix your mistakes?" Lucifer grinds his teeth as their whining continues. "If you intend to act like children, then like children I'll treat you," Lucifer shouts, his voice booming throughout the room.
Everyone now quiet, they wait for him to speak.
"Everyone will get one day of the week with the human," He stomps his foot as the volume picks up. "No complaints,"
"And to end you're bickering for today, the human shall accompany me for tonight," Poofing away, Lucifer takes the human with him.
The two now alone, Lucifer lets go of them. "Don't believe that I'll prostrate myself before you like the rest of them," Heading back to his desk, paperwork from Lord Diavolo more important, Lucifer ignores the human as they leave.
Too focused on paperwork, it feels as if the human returns in mere seconds, a platter of decadent sweets in their hand.
Lucifer eyes them as they leave the platter on Lucifer's desk before leaving. Checking them for magic, he finds nothing. Sniffing a muffin, he glances to make sure no one else is in the room. Taking a small bite, he closes his eyes as the sweet chocolate melts in his mouth. Nibbling the rest of it as he continues his work, the platter ends up empty far too soon.
The day already near its end, having to wait a week to try more of the human's food sounds like an ordeal.

The Mountain of Ghosts
Another week, another episode. This one dealt with a topic that I know has been on the fandom's mind since the end of season four, so let's just dive into this.
Alice and Eliot - obviously the big part of the episode. This has been on everyone's mind since season one and the possibility of Queliot was a thing. It's been a constant back and forth, one or the other, situation since, and sadly, we all know where most of the fandom landed on that issue. This was a good episode that got to the crux of the issue here, that being Quentin. Not Alice's or Eliot's feelings toward Quentin but rather his feelings toward them.
For years I've stood here and watched the constant screeching of "Quentin loved Eliot more!" or more rarely, (seriously, very rarely), "Quentin loved Alice more!" It got to the point where I firmly believed, and still believe, that it wasn't a matter of actually caring about Quentin at all. I'm not saying that no one actually liked Q, but that was secondary to the main issue of which ship would win in the end. Shipping is a big thing in fandom, but what no one really ever wants to admit is that it's also a big problem in fandom, in that ship wars happen and all some people seem to care about is the validation that comes with watching their ship set sail or another ship sink. That's all I'm going to say about that right now, because honestly the problem with shipping in fandom is a whole other topic waiting to be made, but its relevant to this issue, so let's move on.
Alice and Eliot both loved Quentin, and whether anyone wants to admit it or not, he loved both of them back. It isn't a matter of saying he loved either one of them more, or which one was more valid because no one loves two different people in the same way. Some of the things that Quentin loved about Alice aren't the same things he would have loved about Eliot. And this episode really highlighted that. Eliot and Alice are about as different as you can get, especially when it comes to romance. They both had different approaches to their relationship with Q, and I'm so glad we got to see them resolve their differences. We finally got to see Eliot say to someone else that he and Q loved each other, and have Alice not only acknowledge it but embrace it. She said it best, "what was I going to do? Demand he be less complicated? That he only love one person?" Too often Alice is reduced to this one-dimensional girl who is only defined by her relationship with Quentin, especially by fandom, and this really broke that mold. This was a nice episode for the two of them, to work through their anger and to work together to let go of Quentin... to acknowledge that they couldn't save him. I hope this bond between the two of them keeps building through the rest of the season.
PS: please let Alice wear jeans and pants more often. She looked so much more comfortable than she does in those fetish school girl dresses.
Moving on...
Margo - I'm not sure how I feel about this whole "reclaiming the throne" thing she's got going on. I loved Margo winning the throne by her own merit back in season three, because it worked in that moment. And then last year we had her abandon the throne to save Eliot. When push came to shove, she valued one person over the duty she had as a king to her people. I'm not faulting her for that, because I understand where she was coming from, but she still gave up the throne and it paved the way for Fen to assume the throne.
I can only speak for me, but I thought that was beautiful. Having a Fillorian finally sit on the throne of Fillory felt like a major milestone, and now we're just supposed to believe that Margo gets to be the king because she said so? I didn't like that. That's one of Margo's negative character traits, her entitlement, which brings us to...
Fen - I do not like what they're doing with her so far this season. Who is the sycophantic woman? She admired Margo, of course, but not to the extent of idol worship. This is a woman who was part of the F.U. Fighters, fighting for Fillorian rights in a kingdom always ruled by outsiders. But then the moment Margo's not there, she turns into this incompetent moron, so much so that she and Josh were overthrown because they were waiting for someone else to save them, and I don't like that. That is a complete disservice to the character and the journey she's been on for the previous three seasons.
Also, this whole Josh thing that's going to come between these two women, who have had such respect for each other, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I was one of those (probably the only) who was rooting for Josh and Margo. Were there things I would have changed about it? Of course, but I thought they worked well together and off of one another, and now we have this bullshit. I liked Josh, not just because we shared the same name, but because he was an interesting character that people, especially women, seemed to like, not because of his appearance but because of his personality. And now they've turned him into a quintessential Nice Guy™ who sleeps with his girlfriend's friend instead of figuring out a way to save themselves and Fillory.
I will say that it'll be interesting to see how Fen and Margo repair their friendship after that revelation that Margo legitimately tried to kill her, if they repair it at all.
As for everyone else...
Julia - I know we're working up to something with her and the big catastrophe, so I'm gonna let her lack of a role these past two episodes aside from support slide.
Penny - I really would like to see more of Professor Adoyodi, aside from just him doing research for class. Also, it's sad that they had him mention that "best case scenario for Travelers" is that they just become an Uber for their friends, only to have Julia ask him for a lift...
Tumblr media
Like, y'all wrote it, maybe you should pay more attention to it!
And then there's Kady and Fogg. The Magicians is so different then other ensemble shows in that they actually use the ensemble! That being said, characters like Fogg and Kady often end up on the side because, while they're deemed primary characters, they feel more like secondary or tertiary ones. I know I'm not the only one interested in what's going on with the Hedge Witches, but we don't see Kady and what's going on with them unless one of the other "mains" needs something, usually some secret Hedge spell or Kady's fist. Same with Fogg. Brakebills was such a cornerstone for this show, and while the mains left the school (didn't graduate, just left) the institution plays a major role still, as a location if nothing else. Add to that the fact that Penny is a professor there now, and I'd espect to see more of it.
Lastly... the Dark King.
Not to toot my horn or anything, but I'm pretty damn good at predicting turns and plot twists. I can usually spot a villain or antagonist the moment I see them, but that wasn't the case here. Granted, in hindsight I should have seen in with how he was introduced, but I was so stuck on the idea that I "knew" who the Dark King was that I couldn't entertain the possibility that I would be wrong. Though, to be fair, he did have a line about illusion magic, so there's a chance I might still be right. All of that being said, it did feel a little like a cop out. All of our other villains and antagonists have been hinted long before their big reveal, and just having a completely new character shown up and go "Surprise, bitch! I'm the dark king" feels a little off to me. We'll just have to wait and see.
All in all, I'd give this episode a rating of 7.5 out of 10. I know I complained a lot, and that's because, aside from Eliot and Alice's arc, the rest of the episode felt kind of lackluster to me. Here's hoping we pick up the pace the rest of the season.

"Their Mum Isn't Even Here, Jean!"
Monday 18th May 2020
Good Afternoon folks! I hope you've all had a good week, I'm sure you've all been made aware of the recent EastEnders news! For those of you who haven't heard, the soap writers and the rest of the team have been given the green light to start re-filming again, this is due to take place some time next month. However, it does mean that EastEnders will be taken off air for a few weeks until the time will come for them to start re-filming again. This is fantastic news that we've all been waiting for, we won't have to wait much longer than expected for us to get our usual 4 episodes a week back. How long the soap will be off air still remains unknown. It also has been revealed that script-writers will include characters talking about the current pandemic. I for one, feel it's amazing news to hear that plans are in place for our favourite actors and actresses to walk through the Square again! Crew will still make sure that everyone follows the rules and for them to keep 2 meters apart and the recording/editing team will use techniques to make it look as natural as possible for the viewers.  I also realise this post is a bit late, due to me being in work again, but today I will post 2 blogs covering both last night's episode and tonight's episode.
I also have some other news for you, it has been revealed that EastEnders are planning to film an episode which will focus entirely on Ben and his hearing loss. The soap will feature subtitles and muffled audio for the audience to get the idea and/or experience what Ben is currently going through. I for one, am REALLY looking forward to seeing this episode. It will be something completely different and something that we've never seen before. I love when soaps jump in the deep end and decide to show something completely different, it was the same when Bobby kept seeing Lucy and also when Stacey went through her breakdown a couple of years ago. I just find it fascinating! I'm sure it'll be a momentous moment for EastEnders and it'll get rave feedback! Are you looking forward to seeing this episode air? The episode will be shown on Monday 1st June! I can hardly contain my excitement!
Now, let's make a start on last night's episode, a lot to cover from last night I think. Let's start with Isaac, still moping about finding out about Patrick being his biological father. Denise has done everything she can to keep him from making a mess of himself. She knows he's struggling but skipping work and making up excuses and drinking until he's nearly having a pee in front of children, is definitely not the way to be coping. All I can really say is, thank you to Bailey! What an amazing child she is! Amazing that it's taken a child to actual make a grown-up realise he hasn't really got it all that bad! Yeah, it would be a shock to him, but what Bailey said was absolutely inspirational and it really spoke truth to him. She's absolutely right in the fact that the guy who Isaac thought was his Dad, never left his side till his death. He was with him every single day and treated him like his own, now he's got another Dad to help him with his future, he could really make a go of building a relationship with Patrick if he gave him the chance. When Bailey spoke how lucky she was to have had two Mum's, I just thought it was absolutely moving, really sweet. I'm hoping now Isaac will realise he hasn't got it all that bad and he'll be able to move on, perhaps when Patrick and Sheree come back, he'll be able to ask them any questions he wants answering and maybe then, he'll feel ready to move on and accept Patrick is his Dad.
Oh Keegan! I feel like he's just not dealing with things well at the moment. I mean, did he really need to post up the video to his social media, inevitably putting Jack's job at risk! Jack told him to keep it to himself as their could be consequences, and its as if he didn't care. He was selfish and wanted to uphold his reputation. I mean, I get he wanted to prove he was innocent, but that would have happened in time and the police would've admitted their mistakes, but it's as if he can't let go after the way they treated him. I personally, feel sorry for Tiffany in all of this, she's being stuck right in the middle of it all. She's trying her best to support and understand her husband, but also her uncle put his neck on the line for her husband. What's going to happen now? Could Jack be in deep trouble with this colleagues? Will Keegan get the justice he's so desperate for? Or will he come to regret posting the video in the first place? I know it's awful to say, but I'm kinda getting a bit bored of this story-line now, I have a feeling this will change Keegan's personality completely and it may lead to further story-lines involving him fighting against the police, fighting for equality and stuff like that? I could be completely wrong, but I just have a feeling that might be the direction it'll take, who knows? I am concerned for Jack now though, is he going to lose his job now though due to Keegan's actions? Will he be able to explain himself or will he do as Keegan suggested and keep quiet? What do you think is going to happen? Do you see this story-line dying down eventually or could it take a whole new direction? Let me know what you think guys, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Ha! She may be a bit gullible, but I do love Habiba! She brings a lot of comedy to the soap, which is what we really need right now. At first I thought she was going to get away with it and be able to get the information for Rainie! I loved the look on Ian's face when he thought she was serious about getting to know more about the business. It was only when she dropped all her papers and Ian saw her paperwork it was all going to go downhill! I just loved the fact she didn't seem to click, not even knowing what "Sweet FA" meant! God bless her! Haha! But now Ian has made Max aware of what is going on, what does it mean for Max? Will he still give Rainie the divorce she wants? Or will he be able to give her the divorce and still be able to keep the majority of his money! Even Ruby mentioned he should be careful with money, considering he wanted to take her out for a meal even though he still has a divorce to pay for. Did anyone else see the flirtation between Ruby and Martin?! Okay, let me just say ... where the heck has Martin been?! With everything happening with Jean, surely he would've been there to help Kush out ... hmm maybe now he'll start helping? Anyway, there was obvious flirtation and sexual attraction there between Martin and Ruby ... Didn't they sleep together once a while back?! And they've not mentioned it to anyone or to each other since? Now Ruby has offered him a job, could there be something on the horizon for them? And will Max start to feel jealous around them and begin to notice what's going on?!
So, due to Ben having a temperature, his operation has had to be postponed. It's a bit of shame as I feel everyone wanted him to get it done there and then, obviously Ben more than anyone! Callum was there to support his partner, after having their argument the episode beforehand, he knew he had to be there for him. It was massive blow for Ben to be told he couldn't have the operation, he just wants everything to be back to normal. But now the question is, when will he have the operation? Will it still be a success? But most importantly, will he have the operation in time before he has to do the dodgy deal with his Dad? Something is telling me, No! Even Phil was eager to know when they'd reschedule his op for, and Kathy noticed it was the exact same way that Ben reacted! Is she going to click on that something is happening between the two of them and will she find out what they're involved in?! I'm really looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Ben, the episode that's going to be completely focused on him is going to be epic! We know that Ben is still meant to come across someone who is completely deaf, a young girl named Frankie will come into the soap, will she be able to help Ben come to terms with his hearing loss? I do hope his op will be successful, but of course, we will all have to wait and see!
Ooooh poor Jean! I just want to give her a big hug and tell her everything is okay. She's found out that both Kush and Shirley were slipping her medication into her food and drink, which actually caused her to have her fit. They'd accidentally given her too much and she'd been poisoned by the vast amount they'd given her. Of course their intentions were caring and loving as they both care very deeply for Jean and can see that she's not being herself recently, they were literally trying to do their best at caring for her. It just turned out so drastically wrong. I hated the fact that Suki had to get involved, she was more bothered about her cardigan!! She is going to be so smug now knowing that Jean also has bipolar and that she was there to help and even stop the hospital from getting both Kush and Shirley in trouble. Jean owes her nothing and I hope Jean knows that! What is Suki getting out of this? I don't understand, why can't she just keep her distance from Jean and leave her alone! I feel sorry for all of them, I feel sorry for Jean, I feel sorry for Kush and Shirley. Everyone is just trying to help and poor Jean can't see that, and now she feels as if she can't trust them and has decided to throw Kush out, as well as the kids. I'm worried that her living on her own is going to cause her more problems, how will she be able to cope? I think now is the time for Stacey and Kat to come back, Jean's mental state is only going to get from bad to worse and without Kush or Shirley being there to look after her, who's going to let them know?! Maybe Kush and Shirley can keep an eye on her from a distance? Will Kush finally inform Martin about is happening? Either way, I just hope Jean will be okay, although I do fear it's only going to get worse for her before it gets better.
I hope you've all enjoyed reading, if you have anything you'd like to talk to me about regarding EastEnders, feel free to send me a message. I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the current story-lines. I'll be back again this evening with a second post following up tonight's episode! Thanks folks! xXx
