Not to have controversial opinions about Phineas and Ferb but...new movie bad

#maybe not bad but...painfully mediocre #like an hour-long episode that could have been 20 minutes of an episode #in fact it WAS a ten minute episode years ago and worked much better #and just as a symbol bodes ill for Disney reanimating the corpse of Phineas and Ferb and squeezing money out of it #it already ended perfectly was a new movie really necessary? is there going to be a million more of these? #like it was advertised as a Candace movie which I wouldve been all in for but ended up mostly just more Phineas and Ferb #which is fine to have them in it for the B-plot but their friends shouldnt have tagged along #it shouldve been Jeremy and Stacey going on the adventure and Buford Baljeet and Isabella with one scene of dialogue #Dr Doofenshmirtz can stay I guess cause Vanessa is there #also why not bring back Major Monogram’s son? He was hot for a cartoon #Doof was also written pretty annoyingly. theres a difference between what made people love him in the first place #and how he acts when he’s written specifically for that demo #the movie they did with other dimensions was way better #and the finale was just the perfect ending so why mess with that? #I tried to get into that spinoff show the creators made but I didnt think it was very good #or maybe I just aged slightly over the demo and wasnt watching it with nostalgia #anyway movie bad
