The contrast of series lore between Danny Phantom and The Ghost and Molly Mcgee is so funny when you think about it.

Being a half ghost in Danny Phantom: You can transform into ghost, you have ghosts powers. You are half human and half ghost. You may or not be half death. Also some possible trauma from your accident that turn you into a ghost

Being half ghost (Wraith) in The Ghost and Molly Mcgee: Your are both dead and alive. Your body and ghost can exist separately. Your body works in automotion. While wraiths can be produced by ghost portals, their ¨natural¨ way of forming is through a person feeling so dead inside that their ghost separates from their human half, being a form of emotional ¨suicide¨. You can also lose sense of who you are and forget your own identity if you spend too much time as a wraith.

Ghost Zone in Danny Phantom: Dimension where the ghost exists. It's nature is still unknown but the Human Realm and Ghost Zone used to be connected before they were separated by an ancient war. All sorts of different ghosts live in here.

Ghost World in The Ghost and Molly Mcgee: A limbo for ghosts that have an unfinished business they left on Earth. Ghosts aren't supposed to stay in there since there are supposed to ¨move on¨. If you don't have any unfinished business, you don't end up in the Ghost World and instead move on to higher planes.

Death in Danny Phantom: Dying is sad and can be tragic too. You may be half death as half ghost. You may transform into a ghost when you die too.

Death in The Ghost and Molly Mcgee: Death is sad but it can also be a celebration. It is part of our natural lives and it is something that happens to all of us. The line between life and death is pretty blurred. To be ¨alive¨ doesn't mean you have to be literally alive, in fact you can be ¨dead inside¨ while you are still alive. To accept the reality of death is one of the first steps to let yourself live.

Now look, I am not unbiased and I’ll admit that, but I’m always baffled by people who say Daniel’s feelings for Betty came out of nowhere at the end. I saw that from the pilot, but the scene that specifically stands out to me is the one in The Weiner, the Bun, and the Boob. You know the one. Betty says, “Your dad picked me, precisely so you wouldn’t do what you always do, which is hire an assistant you want to sleep with.” And what is Daniel’s response? He crosses his arms, tips his head, makes this 😏 smirk, and says, “Really?”

That is blatantly flirtatious and Daniel is in danger of being arrested for being Way Too Horny on Main. This is what fanfic dreams are made of. And it’s canon! But somehow I’M the crazy one for seeing it??? They really wrote that scene and then turned around and told me those two are platonic like brother and sister. I THINK NOT, FOLKS.
