Idea:

Dr. Julien doesn't die before Rebooted, as a matter of fact he gets to live after it but not for a long time.

He had to watch his own son die before him, and he's absolutely emotionally and mentally Anhiliated by it.

Than cut to Tournament of Elements when the ninja are reunited with Zane, and he says he's excited to meet Dr. Julien again, because he can only imagine his father's reaction to him coming back from the dead.

only for the other ninja to go silent, and Zane's confused as to why the others are looking at each other with sadness, so he asks what's up.

And they reveal that Dr. Julien died shortly after he sacrificed himself.

An old man watching his son die before him.

A son coming back from the dead to only find his last family has died.

I think a fun challenge for people should be working out how their favourite characters would go doing Taskmaster. Would they be cool under pressure, find loopholes, mess it up entirely but have fun? Would the be the one who looks like they did well but then get disqualified? So many possibilities.

My give Eddie a moment that would be what the shooting was for Buck vision took a turn today because I was reminded of grey's anatomy episodes 3x16 and 17. Because my original plan involved Buck having an emotional breakdown before the situation, partially because I want it to be a catalyst for buddie but also because I don't think Buck would actually breakdown over himself, BUT now I'm thinking thoughts, you have Buck on the edge, not hard because he's already hanging by a thread anyway, so you have a Buck going through the motions, trying to act like everything is fine, just being very Buck, and well, the shooting happens by chance, is a case of wrong place wrong time, they're not really supposed to be there, it brings up previous trauma, Eddie is there because he got called specifically to the scene, and Buck has to do the saving alone, so I'm sticking to using Taylor's emergency beacon to draw Buck somewhere near water, that way you can have the they're not supposed to be there element and the they got called there. I keep going back and forth with a bridge or a cliff, I'm gonna go with bridge because I think it makes more sense in this context, that way you can have the water element of Buck's trauma, bonus points if it's raining. So now I need something happening by chance, but really easy to make something go wrong by chance in a situation like this, you can have literally anything happen. But my original thought was buddie seeing someone driving off of something, so I'm gonna go with: they go somewhere to help Taylor, they finish that, it's near water, it's raining, there's an accident near them, they go to help, bonus points if it involves a vehicle of some type so we can hit bingo on all the trauma and have Buck going down because of it. Usually when I get here, Buck doesn't come back up because he's pined in some way, but in the spirit of having this be a catalyst for Buck break into a bunch of little pieces, we have him pined but in a way he could get out if he tried hard enough, he just doesn't. Then obviously Eddie dives in, drags him out, desperate cpr, "you're not doing this to me again", Buck coughing up water while sitting up, Eddie catching him when he drops back, "I got you, I got you", all those really fun things. It's easy to use to force Buck to deal with his feelings, it's easy to use to give Buck an oh moment about Eddie, it's easy to use to give us desperate Eddie, if they don't want to retroactively make it seem like Eddie already felt something, you could even use it for Eddie to have an explicit oh moment, it could check all the boxes.

This will make no sense but I’m just thinking about it.

If this conflict drags on with Bad being wanted, it’s probably going to get worse and worse with having to hide and avoid people, he has most island residents blaming him and mad.

Dapper is possibly (?) still working on the potion (we had at least one potion confirmed as he splashed it on Bad today) and he’s still hiding it from the federation, because if they find out it could put their lives in danger, and possibly piss off the federation that it was kept a secret.

These are both ongoing things that might blend into each other story wise.

When you’re hated by both the island residents AND the federation, where do you go?
