In a dilapidated warehouse in Rafah, Soha Abu Diab is living with her three young daughters and more than 20 other family members. They have no running water, no fuel and are surrounded by running sewage and waste piling up. Like the rest of Gaza’s residents, they fear the air they breathe is heavy with pollutants and that the water carries disease. Beyond the city streets lie razed orchards and olive groves, and farmland destroyed by bombs and bulldozers. “This life is not life,” says Abu Diab, who was displaced from Gaza City. “There is pollution everywhere – in the air, in the water we bathe in, in the water we drink, in the food we eat, in the area around us.” For her family and thousands of others, the human cost of Israel’s invasion of Gaza, launched after the Hamas attack on 7 October, is being compounded by an environmental crisis. The full extent of the damage in Gaza has not yet been documented, but analysis of satellite imagery provided to the Guardian shows the destruction of about 38-48% of tree cover and farmland. Olive groves and farms have been reduced to packed earth; soil and groundwater have been contaminated by munitions and toxins; the sea is choked with sewage and waste; the air polluted by smoke and particulate matter. Researchers and environmental organisations say the destruction will have enormous effects on Gaza’s ecosystems and biodiversity. The scale and potential long-term impact of the damage have led to calls for it to be regarded as “ecocide” and investigated as a possible war crime.

[ID: tweet from @/shimmeringolds on november 18th, 2023 that reads: “You all please look at this!!!! On Monday the Israeli occupation parliament is presenting a law to kill 7000 Palestinians in illegal israeli occupation prisons!!! If it passes, it means that the Palestinians who are in those prisons will be killed as part of the zionist law!!!”
the tweet she is quoting is from @/QudsNen (Quds News Network) on november 18th, 2023 and that tweet reads: “The Extremist "Itamar Ben Gvir" Minister of National Security in the Israeli occupation government:
"On Monday, there will be the first reading of the death penalty law for Palestinian political prisoners, this law is presented by the
"Otzma Yehudit" party (led by the extremist Ben Gvir) this law will be discussed in the national security committee. He added, I expect all members of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) to support this important law"
The number of Palestinians in Israeli prisons has increased to 7000 prisoners, 64 of whom are women. And tens of children. #Palestine_Genocide” Below the text there is a photo of Itamar Ben Gvir. End ID.]

🇮🇱🇵🇸 BREAKING: ISRAELI MILITARY TELLS 1.1 MILLION GAZANS TO LEAVE IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS
The Israeli Military has told all 1.1 million Palestinians living North of Wadi Gaza they must relocate to Southern Gaza or face destruction and death.
The affected area includes densely populated and heavily damaged Gaza City.
Just before midnight, an Alert was sent by the Israeli Military and the United Nations was notified of the forced relocation of nearly half the Gaza strip.
"The United Nations considers it impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences," the UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said.
Egypt has already warned the UN that if a humanitarian corridor is opened, even the US refuses to guarantee Palestinians the right to return to Gaza.
This is now becoming the ethnic cleansing of Gaza

An immediate arms embargo on Israel. When I met Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf last month and he unequivocally backed such a move, the case was already overwhelming. Yet this week, the UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron doubled down – even as Gaza is razed from the face of the earth, the position was “unchanged”. It should not take the spilling of Western blood to make this point – given the mass slaughter endured by the Palestinian people, including more than 200 aid workers – but even the Israeli military killing three Britons working with World Central Kitchen hasn’t shifted the Government’s position. You can only imagine what would have happened if, say, Iran had blown up an aid convoy in similar circumstances. According to the Campaign Against Arms Trade, the seven aid workers were killed by a Hermes 450 drone, which is powered by a UK-made R902(W) Wankel Engine. That a leaked recording of senior Tory MP Alicia Kearns – the chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee – made clear that the Government had received legal advice that Israel is violating international humanitarian law, clear to anyone at this point who isn’t either deceitful or living in a parallel universe. That would necessitate stopping arms sales, as well as the sharing of intelligence. Yet the British government remains determined to continue its complicity with one of the great crimes of our age. […] The Israeli investigation was an absurd whitewash, suggesting a military which describes itself as amongst the world’s most advanced made a “grave mistake” by exterminating the convoy in these circumstances. Well, it gets so much worse. A fascinating piece of investigative journalism in The Telegraph – not words you often read me type – has a sensational finding. The most senior commander in the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) dismissed for his role in the attack is a hard-line settler in the West Bank who, in an open letter signed in January, demanded Gaza was deprived of aid. It demanded the Israeli War Cabinet and the IDF chief of staff “do everything in your power” to prevent “humanitarian supplies and the operation of hospitals inside Gaza City”. Here’s another astonishing detail: the retired military officer who led the investigation into the strike is the CEO of the defence firm that makes the drone missiles used in the strike.

also remember that no form of resistance is ever acceptable to the colonizer. and that includes non-violent resistance (the great march of return) + non-violence is only successful against a force that has a conscience. but if your opponent had a conscience, he would not be oppressing you in the first place.

An 11-year-old boy was kidnapped by 3 Zionists.
They forced him to drink gasoline.
Then they killed him by burning him alive.
Listen to Bassem, guys. These are not things anyone made up. I have never seen any other people in the world as despicable and indescribably disgusting as the Zionists.
I'm trying to express it in words, but it's not possible. Hasbünallahi ve ni'mel vekîl.
