Who here would like to join me in saying
"FUCK ISRAEL"?
UPDATE AS OF 2024-04-17: I did not expect this post of mine to get so much attention so quickly. Indeed, this post is my first post that has gotten over a thousand notes. This said, a couple of people have asked me to repost GoFundMes they have to try and get their relatives out of Gaza. Therefore, I would like to highlight to you all the two GoFundMes in question:
The first comes from @abuomar95, and the second comes from @doniatanani.

its not a conflict, you dont have two peoples, two states, two nations on equal footing, you have an occupier and an occupied. you have a coloniser and you have the colonised.
—omar suleiman about using the term 'conflict' regarding the situation with palestine and israel

Palestines “over a millennia” what the fuck?????????? Which millennia? When the Greeks named Philistia? Or when the Romans named it Palestina? Or when the flag was created in the 60s? Like where are we starting from. Or how about the fact that Jews were there also for a millenia predating any mention of Philistia/Palestina/whatever you want to call it. Calling zionists brain dead while you yourself are brain dead isn’t the slay you think it is, it’s sad. Stick to weird ass moth furry oc’s instead of conflicts you just learned about and are using to virtue signal to everyone :)))))))))))
what the fuck are you yapping about lmao israel became a nation in 1948 you lackluster buffoon
also palestine's had history wayyyy back into the BCE era *cough* Nafutian Culture
also would you like to know how a lot of isnotraeli "culture" is also stolen? for example the keffiyeh? the dances? the food? all taken from Arab culture.
do some proper research instead of cherry picking what fulfills your zionist fantasies anon :3

Pls rant about something. infodump to me. I want a loooooong one about your interests. I require something to read
not really an interest, more something i dont shut up abt, but here you go: the rant about an arab muslim about palestine and israel (imma try to explain the whole situation from the beginning but dont surprised if i get pissy at times)
zionists, not jews
first off, i wanna clarify this: zionists are who i blame for palestine. not jews. jews are an ethnoreligious group, zionists are people who support the creation of israel and encourage the literal recreation of the holocaust that theyre creating. im not anti-semitic, im anti-zionist. know the difference.
okay, now thats out of the way, lemme explain this next point: how did the conflict even begin? (i feel the need to explain this bc the media never does and the history is so so important)
the history
zionist movements began in maybe mid 19th century, jews worldwide were being persecuted and they wanted a land to themselves. they had their eyes set on palestine, even tho the palestinian bedouins there have been living in palestine for at least 1500 years
wwii left millions of jews stranded, so in 1947, the united nations suggested dividing palestine into a jewish and arab state. the jews accepted, but the arabs rejected it. this rejection was ultimately ignored, and israel declared itself a state in 1947, leading to palestinian arabs being displaced and a war starting between israel and arab nations. this was known as nakba—literally the arabic word for disaster, it mainly refers to palestinians being displaced after israel declared independence
the six-day war of 1967 was a conflict ultimately won by israel—they took control of the west bank, the gaza strip, and east jerusalem. conflicts got worse from here, and violence against civilians grew. its been snowballing since then
is it between jews and muslims?
no. its between jews and arabs. palestinian christians are some of the oldest communities of christianity worldwide, some being able to trace their history back to the birth of the church. its between the jews that claim the land to be theirs, and the arabs who have actually been on the land for longer than the 75 years since israel was formed (nearly 14 centuries longer, to be exact)
why i care so much
its not just because im arab, or just because im a muslim. of course, it is partially that—seeing my brothers and sisters get killed hurts me, esp knowing that theres not much i can do except pray to god that this ends.
yes, israeli citizens die every year bc of the conflict. im not saying that number is nothing. but the palestinian civilian fatalities are so much worse.
Tumblr media
the total deaths from 2008 to 2020 for palestine is over 20 times more than israeli deaths. (note that this graph is not up to date and does not include the hundreds of palestinians who have died since 2020. no, im not exaggerating. hundreds. i wish i was.)
some of my best friends are palestinian. the idea that they know people, or their parents know people, who have died at the hands of israelis, is absolutely not acceptable.
like my friends, millions of palestinians are now scattered across the globe, or in danger in their own country where zionists are trying to take their land.
this conflict is disgusting and wrong. jews have less of a right to that land than arabs. yes, jews have been living w arabs in that land for centuries, but its always been predominantly arabs. always has been, always should be.
and yet zionists refuse to accept it. take a look at this article from the times of israel:
Tumblr media
kanye is infamous for supporting hitler. all jenna did was say that palestinians deserve to live.
this honestly tells you more than anything else can.

The amount of people I've seen be antisemetic is insane. Just because we dislike Israel does not mean we dislike our jewish siblings. Again, Israel is antithetical to Judaism, and they are using it as a shield. We have had jewish activists stand against Israel because of it's antithesis. If you are antisemetic, you are missing the point of supporting Palestine. This is not a war of Religion, this is a genocide commited by corrupt politicians.

hey zionists! is this the culture that you so desperately claim that israel has?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
yeahhhh, not only are they stealing palestinian culture, theyre also coming after many other arab countries! stealing their cultural attire, their food, the "from the river to the sea" motto, TO EVEN APPROPRIATING "DAMMI FALASTINI", A VERY POPULAR PALESTINIAN SONG PROMOTING THEIR CULTURE AND THEIR FREEDOM. is that not embarrassing???
and before you dumb yutes try and tell me "oh but jewish people are indigenous to israel!11!!1!1!1!1!1!" PICK UP A HISTORY BOOK FOR ONCE IN YOUR SAD AND PATHETIC LIVES, I FUCKING BEG. ive said this before and i'm gonna say this again. BEING JEWISH ≠ BEING FROM ISRAEL. you man are actually dunces because not all ethnic jews are indigenous to israel, so in all technicality, you're invalidating ethnic jews of other origins ^_^
furthermore, quite a lot of jewish people don't even recognise it as a holy landmark. its the state of israel that pushes that agenda.
keep crying zionists israel is not a real country ‼️‼️ ITS FREE PALESTINE OR NOTHING 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Something that’s fucking me up about the rain in Palestine rn isn’t just the flooding in Gaza or the fact that Palestinians collecting rain water is illegal (and israel has killed people for it), it’s the fact that even if they managed to collect the rain water it’s all fucking polluted.
Gaza has had an array of bombs dropped on them for over 40 days and nights, a non-insignificant amount of them being white phosphorus that not only burns everything it touches but lingers in the air and water afterwards. Around 96% of the water in Gaza isn’t suitable for human consumption in any way. The ecological devastation and the consequences this will have for the years to come are immense.
If land is truly yours you wouldn’t poison the ground, air, and water to have it. Israel is a morally bankrupt occupying colonial force, may its downfall be swift and merciless.

hi i had a question :)
so im pro-palestine, but i know people that've made arguments in this way:
'hamas was a threat against israel. they attacked israel first and israel had a full right to go all out against hamas and everything else that supported it. if a terrorist group attacked my home, i'd obviosuly retaliate and thats what israel did.'
now this makes no sense to me but i cant figure out a way to articulate a counter argument. please help - maybe it'll educate me as well as the other person about this
tysm!
okay, so the first thing that comes to mind is this:
what about the west bank?
obviously, the argument of defending your home against terrorists is largely baseless anyways, since hamas is basically the only way that gaza can defend themselves. they say "if a terrorist group attacked my home id obviously retaliate" and thats what gaza did. after being blocked off for 15 years, hamas retaliated ON BEHALF of gaza, that doesnt mean gazans are all responsible for hamas's actions, esp since half of gazans are under 18, meaning 50% of gazas population wasnt even alive when hamas was last voted for by gaza
but even if its okay to annihilate gaza in order to get past the "human shield" destroy hamas, what about the west bank?
hamas has absolutely zero control over the west bank, theyre located in gaza alone. so why do people get killed in the west bank too?

long live Israel
75 years compared to Palestine's over a millennia isn't very "long lived" imho
imagine condoning the slaughter, genocide, ethnic cleansing and fascist propaganda of a nation stood upon stolen land and the tears of the very people that welcomed Jews and Christians alike into their country.
imagine seeing children, dead and mutilated, sometimes completely unrecognizable in a city with zero defense where the residents are not allowed to leave or even have humanitarian aid allowed inside and think Israel is somehow the victim.
imagine being such a bootlicker to the west and being so brainwashed by propaganda and publicised lies that when a man shoves a dead child into the camera to plead the world to listen,
when a child sobs at their deceased father asking why he left them,
when a mother refuses to wash the blood off her hands because it's all she has left of her family,
you turn the other cheek and proclaim "long live" to a false nation, an apartheid terrorist state with war crimes too numerous to mention, yet are covered by the powerful to never be prosecuted for.
you stand on the side of history schools will teach children to condemn and remember for the atrocity and barbarity it waved like a flag of victory.
Palestine will not be the ones to wave the white flag.
Long Live Palestine. 🇵🇸❤️

This comes from a completely unrelated book: The History of Pirates by Angus Konstam (page 21 chapter: The Sea Peoples). This section discusses accounts of pirates from Egypt in the 12th and 13th century BC. The book was published in 1999.
Published 25 years ago.
Palestine has always existed.
