I was drawing Rey and Kylo Ren to practice and explore my style on them....

....and I noticed a very interesting tiny detail in Kylo's clothes.

Remember how in this shot it kinda looks like he's wearing a very short skirt, and it's slightly longer at his back?

I wanted to replicate that, so I took a closer look at the direction of the fabric and the way it is tailored, and indeed....

....the lines are not straight, like on his upper back, but are tailored at an angle and go down towards the middle.

i think that riz's love is an "i'd die for you" kinda love and fig's love is an "i'd live for you" kinda love.

i know fig is the type to say she'd die for you, but in terms of their actions (specifically in jy) this is the vibe i'm getting.

it's just that riz is happy to take on stress for his friends. sure he feels it weighing on him, but he thinks he can take it. he'll easily sacrifice his wellbeing for them. and fig will go to class for them, she'll even change her class to something that she thinks will better benefit them. she's willing to put effort into improving herself if it's for the sake of her friends

i started making a complete list of “things other people agree izzy is good at” and “things only izzy says he’s good at” for brain distractions and on that first list is swordfighting

the second list is …everything else, i truly do find this little fucker so fun on a narrative level. he’s the textbook unreliable narrator: literally everything he says ends up directly contradicted by the people in question or the action, but he swaggers around yelling his version of events loudest! (and weirdest, lmfao.)

and honestly on a deeper level it makes us as an audience look at how we process things people tell us vs things people show us, and how those are often very much at odds.

the writing on this show is ridiculously good, you know?

now that I have married Shane in one of my newer files and his marriage dialogue is fresh in my mind. it is so...insulting, when I keep seeing people say he "regresses" after marriage. there is a 3 part cut scene where you are suspicious of him going to the bar so much, but it turns out he's just going to play the arcade game there and he's even using it to cope with "his urges" (as he puts it). AND he's drinking soda instead of beer!!! so where the fuck is he regressing here??? yes he has a few beers every once in a while at home but he is still recovering and he is still depressed! marriage doesn't fix you!!!

the last battle section where theyre running for their lives and you dont know if theyre gonna make it and deli just keeps failing those con saves and he says he'll run his body into the boulders taking whatever damage he needs to knowing full well he only has a couple hp left but he should be able to make death saves right bc its just poison damage and colins a knight so he should have some medicine skills he can make a medicine check and deli will be fine right?? this was the anxiety going through my head i stg ive never felt stakes like that since the cathedral fight it was so fucking good

there's honestly nothing really to say for hovering bees. when i wrote my judas piece and poems written by the ghost that's haunting you a few years back i had an INSPO note on my phone of things I thought were interesting and might relate

and bees hovering never made it in either final piece but i still liked the idea of exploring the concept of guilt/grief through the image of someone hiding under a body of water slowly losing air while a swarm of bees wait for them above. so idk if it would be an entire piece of flash fiction from the pov of someone under water or just a metaphor ill use briefly in a larger piece but it's an idea im enamoured by and hope to use someday

I think it would be really nice to be noticed and unnoticed. If I could coordinate what I'd like to be in front of which people. If I could navigate between the ifs and maybes and find out what the other person wants and see if I can safely reach those expectations without hurting myself. An analysis of what I can and can't making myself the priority. I wish I could do that while handling the people I voluntarily interact with and the people I'm forced to see. If I could maybe run a little test before knowing how and what part of myself I'm ready to show. If I could match up the amount of love I have to give with the people who want it, need it from me. If I could figure out how to make love not a responsibility but a thing that happens in passing. If I could match myself against the past me and see if I've grown or I've illusioned myself into believing this is better when it's really almost sinking. Hi! Have you seen that nct jaehyun, dooyoung and jungwoo made a sub-unit? Their song is called perfume and it is just SO FUN! The song itself reminds me of some of the old suju songs because the beat is so fun and makes you wanna dance, but the choreography is also ridiculously fun! You should check it out) I was reading your posts about the lack of fun in kpop, and this was honestly very refreshing to see.
