First appeared in Episode 3 of Season 2. Elrel, who has become the new Klingon leader and signed an armistice with the Federation of Planets, faces opposition from other Klingon families and is about to be ousted from his throne. Section 31 then decides that in order for peace between the Federation and the Klingons, the moderate Elel must remain as leader, and Philippa (Emperor) is secretly dispatched. Philippa rescues Elrel and Ash Tyler from being killed, and recruits Ash Tyler as an agent of Section 31 like herself.
Mirror Universe Philippa's official identity after living in the Prime Universe is "Philippa George of the Prime Universe".[13] In other words, it is a secret that only a few people in Starfleet know that Philippa of the mirror universe is actually the Emperor of the Earth Empire. However, as season 2 progresses, Philippa herself reveals her identity secretly or even openly, and the crew of the Discovery show an eccentricity (?) of accepting the situation casually.
In Episode 13 of Season 2, when Mirror Universe Philippa boarded the Enterprise, Captain Pike said, "Captain George Woo, welcome to the Enterprise." In other words, until this time, it seemed that Philippa of the mirror universe was maintaining the rank of captain (colonel) of Philippa of the prime universe. However, in the very next episode, Episode 14 (the last episode of Season 2), when he informs the bridge that he won the fight against Leland, Saru, the acting captain, replies, "I understand, Lieutenant Colonel." After that, in Season 3, other members continue to call him Lieutenant Colonel. It is unknown whether the ranks while belonging to Starfleet and the ranks belonging to Section 31 are different, or whether the ranks were changed in the last episode of season 2. If Philippa maintains the rank of colonel, he will become the highest ranking officer of the Discovery and will be captain of the Discovery. He may have demoted from Starfleet right before Discovery left for the future, fearing that a dead end would happen.
He is later tasked with chasing down Spock, who is Michael's half-brother and is said to have gone insane, committed murder, and fled. In the process, he is reunited with Michael, who was pardoned for ending the war and reinstated as a lieutenant colonel. At this time, he meets not only Michael, but also Christopher Pike, the temporary captain of the Discovery. Since Captain Pike was a classmate of Prime Universe's Philippa at Starfleet Academy, he is internally surprised that Philippa's personality and behavior are so different from what he knew, and later asks Michael about it. Since the identity of Philippa in the mirror universe is a Star Fleet secret, Michael is unable to tell the truth, suggesting that Philippa's personality has changed since she went through a brutal war.[14]
After that, he pretends to be a 'person who retired as a Starfleet captain and became a consultant for Section 31' and performs various missions of Section 31. At the same time, she usually scratches Michael's insides and argues, but when Michael is in danger, she subtly shows motherly love and helps from behind.
When the Discovery became dangerous due to the invasion of hyphae, the captain of Section 31, Erland, helped the Discovery, and later, when the situation became dangerous with the Section 31 ship, he tried to get out of her feet. At this time, Philippa steps up for Michael aboard the Discovery, revealing that she knows that Rand has been on a mission in her past and has hidden her mistakes from superiors, and she blackmails Rand into continuing to help the Discovery. [15]
Ruland said he would treat Spock, who seemed to have become a psychopath, but in fact tried to extract Spock's memories by force, risking making Spock a disabled person in order to get him to confess about the 7 signs. He then told Michael about it and helped Michael escape with Spock.
While working for Section 31, he learns that Leland is responsible for the deaths of Michael's biological parents. Michael couldn't bear to tell Michael the secret about Michael's birth parents, and secretly pressured Roland and secretly informed Michael that Roland was hiding something, which made Roland himself tell Michael the

"Tawny Newsome: When I look at a character like Georgiou, she is so... What you bring to the body language of that character, to me, ties directly to your contemporary dance background, because the contemporary dancers I know have some of the best, most incredible theatrical dramatic way they embody emotion, because they weren't just taught like some actors to embody it just with their face or with their words. Literally to embody the emotion with their entire body.
And I feel like that's what I'm seeing a bit because you have these incredible fight scenes, these incredible martial arts moments, but even just in tiny moments I feel like I see a lot of that training. Does that sound true for you or did I make that up?
Michelle Yeoh: It sounded so good I'm gonna say it's true."
