i can't stop thinking about kanej. two people who went through horrific, traumatizing experiences that haunt them with every touch, who find each other and just click. they understand each other in ways that nobody else can. they push each other to be better, to keep trying even when it hurts, when they think they've reached their limit, when it's easier to give up. kaz wants to work on himself to be with her. inej pushes past her own trauma with intimacy to be there for him. and what i think i love the most is how they both know it's going to take time. it's not something they can instantly fix. but they both commit to each other and to healing
