Seeing this picture made me think that if Uncle Iroh had a phone it would be filled with Zuko's silly pictures. Uncle would consider all of them cute and he would gladly show them to the gaang. Meanwhile, Zuko would die from embarrassment.

Firebenders (both from ATLA and TLOK are fine) warming you up on a cold day?

There are a lot of firebenders in the two shows, I never noticed how many there were.

Pairing: Aang, Zuko, Korra, Mako, Iroh II x Reader

A/N: I included Aang and Korra cause they're the Avatars, plus I'm in love with Korra.

Aang panics for a moment when he sees you're shaking and cold. Don't panic, like he is, he will warm you up right away. He takes your hands in his and lets you feel the warmth of his breath when he brings them close to his lips, not at all noticing as your cheeks warm up too at him holding your hands.

Zuko doesn't hesitate to pull you against his body and wrap his arms tightly and fully around you. He breaths out a little fire close to you, not enough to burn anything but enough to make you feel heat. Kissing could work too and he doesn't need to just keep it at your lips either, his lips are warm too after all.

Korra makes a fire all around you two so you're warm on all sides. While you lean on her shoulders you notice her stiffen for a moment, she's still a bit shy when you're so casually affectionate with her. When she's doing it it's fine but there's no time to dwell on that, you're cold so she has to hold you and warm you up.

Mako firstly makes a fire right in front of you so you can sit in front of it and he can sit behind you. Will give you his scarf if you need it, he doesn't want you to get cold from any part of your body being cold. What actually makes you shiver isn't the cold, it's him exposing a bit of your neck to kiss it.

Iroh II is very practical and knows he needs to act fast so you don't get sick. At the same time he will take this opportunity to point out how he did tell you to pack warmer clothes and you refused so you only have yourself to blame here. When you push yourself into his arms he gives you his jacket to make you even warmer.

Zuko wakes up before you, watching your peaceful sleeping face with a soft smile. Playing with your soft hair until you wake up.

Lazy morning kisses and cuddles in bed, still tangled together. Slow caresses and whispered "I love you's" while holding you.

If he has to get up early, he'll leave you little love notes around the room after giving you peck on forehead .

After you finally walk out from the bedroom, you two start preparing breakfast together.

Eating together on the balcony if it's sunny outtside, his arm around you once in a while caressing you.

Long shower kisses with you that turns into make out sessions ,Water turning cold rarely ruins the mood.

Picnic lunches outside under the tree , feeding each other bites between kisses under the trees.

Lazy cuddles on bed, listening to each others heartbeats while you rest in his arms. Forever making the most of lazy off days together.

Waking up slowly, wrapped in each other's arms. Eyes meet and Iroh gives you a sleepy, content smile before kissing you softly.

Mornings in are lazy ,snuggling in bed talking and kissing for as long as possible before responsibilities call. Iroh loves these quiet moments with you

If he wakes first, expect Gentle kisses down your neck/shoulder to rouse you gently.

Breakfast is a team effort. Iroh cooks (he's surprisingly good at it too) while you keep him company, stealing kisses and food.

after breakfast is more kissing each other time, before you have, showering together to "save water time." Which often leads to some steamy activities

Leaving for work is always difficult, saying goodbye with deep slow kisses at the door

But Reuniting in the evenings is even better ,it makes all this "missing each other" worthwhile. Home is wherever the other is for him .

Mako is always the big spoon. As soon as he wakes up, he'll scoot over and wrap his arms around you from behind, nuzzling his face into your hair with a soft sigh

Lazy kisses are exchanged as you both start to wake up fully. He can't seem to keep his hands or lips off you first thing.

If it's a day off from work for both of you ,he'll try to convince you to stay in bed a little longer. He Promises of breakfast in bed and "activities" may happen to persuade you.

Once you're both up, he'll follow you into the kitchen, still in a bit of a sleepy daze. He'll watch you softly as you make breakfast, stealing kisses when your hands are full.

After eating, if there's time, he'll pull you in his arms again Just swaying together as you rest head on his chest.

During work days, Parting is hard when he walks you to the door to start your day. Lingering kisses and promises drag out your goodbye.

The Hunt

Since we were robbed of an older Sokka in Legend of Korra and the relationships he might have had with those characters, allow me to imagine him taking all the available grandkids on their first SWT hunt. Even the littlest one, a stubborn firebender who absolutely insisted that he not be left behind this time. He can do it. He can.

I think that hands down the funniest interpretation of Iroh poisoning himself with the White Jade bush in Cave of Two Lovers is him going "I need to get my nephew to interact with Earth Kingdom people to get him to really question his goals" -> "how do I do that?" -> "I'll accidentally-on-purpose ingest deadly poison and hope that some locals know how to treat it and also that we find them before I die."

Because. Zuko has to have gotten his planning skills from somewhere.

How long was it between when Iroh convinced Zuko to take up the Fire Throne, and Sozin's comet? A day? Less??

AU where Iroh convinces Zuko to be the next Fire Lord MUCH earlier in the series. Zuko, who hasn't been in formal education since was 13yo, understandably panics. He barely remembers his lessons on How To Be the Fire Lord, and they were all focused on how to rule during wartime. Not peace. What does an international peace treaty even LOOK like and how does one go about making it???? How does trade work when you're NOT trying to eradicate every other nation????

Book 3 Zuko spends all of his time teaching Aang firebending, interrogating the other members about their culture's traditions and politics, going on Blue Spirit journeys to raid any passing libraries, and reading everything he can get his hands on. He barely eats. He doesn't sleep. He's info dumping about the DRIEST political texts. The gaang are THIS close to holding an intervention or having Toph sit on him until he sleeps.

Avatar headcanon - When Ursa was pregnant with Azula, she gave Zuko a fake baby so he could learn how to play/interact with a child that young. He dropped the baby three times in the first two days and was banned from holding Azula without Ursa, Iroh, Lu Ten or a servant present.

azula is def the child-free friend/family member who acts like she can't stand to be around the kids but all the kids love her. She's like a kid magnet and baby whisper and it actually freaks her out. Anytime zuko & mai (I hc that mai is izumi's mom) need a break they always give izumi to azula. She'll be like "Ugh, stop giving me y'all's child 🙄" but will never tell them no. She's the bougie, rich aunt for sure.

So, we're all agreed that in S3E6, The Avatar and the Fire Lord, that when Iroh sent this scroll to Zuko, he chose the secret writing on it to be one that's revealed by fire because he assumed Zuko would throw a trademark Zuko tantrum and try to burn the scroll?

I'm just imagining him giving instructions for the scroll. "No, make it fireproof. And the secret message should be revealed by fire. Trust me. I know my nephew."

Concept: Druk keeps stealing Izumi's favourite turtle-duck stuffie because it's soft and smells like family, and it makes baby Izumi FURIOUS. Zuko refuses to get between a toddler and dragon's argument, so he buys Druk his own turtle-duck stuffie.

Zuko explains to her that Druk was stealing her toy because he was jealous and sad he didn't have his own stuffie, not because he was being mean. Izumi's toddler brain equates lack of stuffies with sadness, and now she's terrified that her dad will be lonely because he doesn't have a stuffie :((( Zuko is one of the most powerful people on the planet, but he knows he has no hope of winning an argument with a toddler.

And that's how the Fire Lord and his dragon ends up with matching turtle duck stuffies
