What are Satoru thought on Shiki? Once he knows what Death Prescription do? Because Satoru and everyone considered him invincible and untouchable. Then came Shiki, someone who can easily bypass all of Satoru infinity defense and kill him. Proof that he is not invincible.
Also, when is this taking place? Before or after Toji?
We'll be getting to Gojo's perspective later on in the fic!
The current timeline is set before the events of the Star Plasma Vessel incident, so before Fushiguro Toji happened. xD

Where can you get involved to make a difference?
Volunteerism is down. Charity is down. Random acts of kindness are down. Impatience is up. Division is up. As well as inflation, but I digress.
I was reading over the weekend and came across a challenging question that I would like to share with you:
“What are you fighting for?”
That caught me off guard.
Society’s institutions have taught and conditioned us to be soft, non-confrontational, compliant, and weak. They say good people don’t fight. Most marriages have arguments, but ask a couple and they will deny it. Fighting, battling, warring. I am not suggesting that we have cage fighting on every other street corner like we have pharmacies on every other street corner, but we do need to toughen up a little.
Fighting occurs for a number of reasons:
Frustration
Passion
Opposition
Wronged or injured
Since 1900, there have been over 30 major wars globally. Civil unrest, skirmishes and warning shots were not counted in the 30 wars. Not a lot of people win in wars, except defense contractors, the military, and the politicians.
When people get behind a cause, a mission, or a purpose, they gather talent and add passion to right things and make things better. We are wired to be a part of a tribe or a team.
Listening to a family argue in a public setting recently, I wanted to offer unsolicited and slightly dangerous advice. My advice would have been in the form of a couple of questions: “Are you fighting for something that matters in the big picture? Is this a battle worth fighting without giving up the war?”
A survey of employees and their passion for a cause outside of work resulted in some astonishing news. Basically, they want to be a part of something that makes their heart happy and uses their God-given talents to contribute and make a difference.
With a former organization I was a part of, staff longed to get involved in the community. In fact, they requested that the organization support their desire by allotting time away from work to make a difference. It was denied by one the curmudgeon managers. He didn’t trust that they would make up the time in the office and be productive.
The reality for this Scrooge of a manager was the staff was already struggling with productivity and a chance to do good in the community would have elevated their productivity and eventually the company’s profitability.
If the scrooge manager could see the list of good things that the employees wished to donate their time helping, he may have been able to see that the brand of the organization is improved by having the staff out in the community.
Here’s my leadership challenge for you. A pastor friend of mine coined this description of what he envisioned the church to look like: “Inside out.” He was imploring the church to not merely settle into their favorite church pew every weekend, but he was calling them to be out and about and involved in the community throughout the week. As a leader, where can you get involved? How can you help and encourage your team mates to get involved?

Just found out I was thirsty not by receiving a signal from my body about it but by dozing off and dreaming about cold water from different alluring angles. This is great. I think all my wants and needs should be revealed to me this way

VERY IMPORTANT a dam in the Netherlands, the weerdsluis lock, is directly on a migratory path for spawning fish. They have a worker stationed there to open the door for the fish, but they can take a while to open it. So to keep the fish from getting preyed on by birds they installed a doorbell. Only, the fish don't have hands to ring the doorbell. If you go to their website, they have a LIVE CAMERA AND A DOORBELL that YOU RING FOR THE FISH when they're waiting, and then the dam worker opens the door for them! I can't express how obsessed I am with this. look at this shit. oh my god.
Please check on the fish doorbell once in a while :)

seeing everyone just mindlessly sign up for threads despite all the clear warning signs feels like I’m living in Sailor Moon or a magical girl anime episode where the Monster of the Day just set up shop over night and their product is literally draining your lifeforce for the Dark Kingdom but people keep going there

Knowing how to be in a child’s life is important for parents because a parental figure’s presence is extremely valuable for youngsters. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Norma Fleagane, author of “Sneaky the Hairy Mountain Monster How I Lost My Parents,” understands that parents must be present in a kid’s existence. Without them, children can easily get lost in the things they’re exposed to. Having someone you can lean on is extremely beneficial for children, and that should be more than enough reason for any parent to be present in their kid’s life…
