Ok theory time: instead of working for companies, businesses ect. We have a bracket of government that that employs some of the population by putting out proposals or "questions" that would offer a certain amount of money to the best "answer" . These tasks would be mainly invention based, but the objective of the answer would not be to optimise wealth and economy, but to optimise overall environmental/human existence. This system would allow for people to be employed to not strive towards money in pocket, but to better optimise life. Now the question is how does this benefit the government? Lets say government persons have the highest rate of questions and answers, moderated by a collection of juries.
People instead of searching for the best path for wealth, they could spend their time (from childhood and schools) learning and creating to be the best "answerer" in their field of knowledge. Of course their would still have to be basic needs met, but these needs could be slowly met via tech. Over time as needs are being filled, more and more people could become "answerers" and the government could become more dispersed through communities, through the jury system. Ok so what about the money that's used to pay these people, simple, its tax, and as more and more services can become free, tax can increase. Take denmark for example, loads of lax, but free education, free healthcare and "extreme unhappiness" is non-existent as everyone is cared for. No one suffered and fears of homelessness or starvation, crime rates go down and humanity becomes a nicer place.
Disclaimer: I wrote this to get it out of my head in literally 5 minutes, sorry if somthing dosnt make sence, I just think it would beban interesting theory, I don't mean to imply that this is what I think needs happen to our government and society (the question answer system) but I do love Denmark.

Video: Will Wood – You Liked This (Okay, Computer!)
Will Wood is an American singer songwriter who I discovered for the blog a couple of weeks ago through his inventive track Cicada Days. Now he’s back with a new one song and video which further push the boundaries of experimentation while staying utterly relatable. It’s called You Liked This (Okay, Computer!).

i went to a tiny counterserve diner once and accidentally poured sugar instead of salt all over my hashbrowns and was eating them sadly anyways. the waitress took them away and started making me another one and I tried to protest, but she just snorted and said "we're not catholic here". now every time i'm doing something painful out of obligation i think about how that is not repenting, this body is not a catholic establishment, there is no nobility in suffering.
