Arthur’s thoughts: ohmygodohmygod he’s so perfect I didn’t know he could sing. He’s sounds just like I imagined, soft but rough in a low key hot way. It sounds so nice.

Has anyone else lost themselves?

How did you crawl out of it or knock yourself out of it? I feel so delusional lately as to why and how I've become so "bleh." Just completely not like myself at all. I used to be happy and upbeat with hobbies, love, passion for things! Now...nothing. Is this what adulthood is? Surviving day by day with no prospects of happiness or passion returning anytime soon? Art, drawing, make up, reading, music, video games, everything I loved is just not there anymore. Is it the world we live in now that's so much more consumer driven now or am I trippin? Everything around me has changed so much, including myself. So much so that idk who I am anymore or what to do about changing or overcoming it.😔

Due to some personal issues, I neglected to renew my personal domain name. While I do have it, to my surprise, I can't rehook xtra.thoughtremixer.com to my Tumblr.

Turns out that in trying to make a few extra dollars, Tumblr phased out custom domains and instead introduced "Tumblr Domains" where they will host the domain name for you and it will be linked to the blog.

The custom domains (which they called Legacy Domains) should still work... as long as I don't disconnect it.

Sadly, since I missed the payment, it got disconnected. I can't reconnect it and I can't transfer the name to Tumblr.

This made me very sad that now years of links that either has whatwhiteswillneverknow.com and xtra.thoughtremixer.com are now broken. Forever. All because I forgot to renew a domain name.

Oh well. What can I do?

The only positive out of all this is that at least the branding is consistent. So, for now, I'll keep the Tumblr name. I won't be doing another "brand switch" until I feel it's needed.

But the fact that Tumblr decided to do away with Custom Domains and won't allow you to reconnect them isn't the best move, Tumblr.
