Your stomach clenched tighter as you saw Hook's fluffy brown hair in view. You bit your lip to see him looking up at the person in front of him and smile. His smile melted your heart in way you never thought someone could. You grew even more nervous as you realized you were the next person in line to speak with him.

It seemed like your legs were becoming wobbly with each step you took. Watching the person in front of you leave in excitement you looked at Hook to see he was already looking at you with a large smile. "Hi!" He greeted.

"H- Hello." You gushed, walking up to the table. You handed him a piece of paper with a drawing on it of him.

"Holy shit, is this me!" His eyes sparkled as he admire the art work.

"Yeah, I uh have been working on it for awhile." You blushed as he grew excited over your work.

"This is amazing." Hook's eyes never left the paper as he grabbed a marker. "Who can I make this out to?" He popped off the lid.

"Y/N." You said sheepishly, biting your lip as you watched him autograph the drawing. "I'm a big fan of you." You finally admitted.

"And I'm a big fan of you as well." Hook gave your art piece one last look before handing it to you. "Do you post on Instagram?"

"Of my work? Daily." You smiled, carefully grabbing the sheet, making sure not to ruin it.

"Well, how about I give you a follow so I can see all your amazing art work?"

You stared at him in disbelief. "R- Really?" You fumbled to grab your phone, looking up your Instagram username. "Here, it's this." You showed him your profile picture as he pulled out his phone with a smile and put in your account.

"And, followed."

You looked at your screen to see Hook was officially following you.

"Come on, can't leave without a picture." Hook stood up from his chair as you made your way around the table, he wrapped his arm around your waist and held you tight, smiling towards the camera. Once the flash went off me whispered in your ear. "I'll text you later."

this monstrosity of animal cruelty. By my account.... it was never cleaned. She sat in one spot usually. I got her a new cage. I couldn't have her live in this one after all the trauma she had with it. One of you was right- through messages on discord-- He should have been reported for animal abuse. Because it is. And it breaks my heart that this is where she was living. That's not old bedding at the bottom. It's not any of that other material. It's...it's old food. Everything was covered in filth and grime. Nothing was clean. There was so much poop, it rusted the metal in parts. there was mold in the old food. Because it's not meant for bedding. The mold stained the plastic cracked and chipped trays. and my "friend" anna has the audacity to tell me "you don't know what he goes through" or whatever she said. BUT IT'S OKAY FOR IT TO HAPPEN TO A SMALL DEFENSELESS BIRD?!?!?! SHE WAS HIDDEN AWAY IN A ROOM UPSTAIRS IN HIS HOUSE BY HERSELF. And her little weak body was laying eggs in this hell... yes she does lay eggs. So I'm hoping I can get her strength back before her next clutch. I don't have a male. So luckily she wont have a viable clutch.

Now ready to watch "Collision" live tonight too.

Threads: Twitter rival records 10 million users within hours of launch

More than 10 million people have signed up for Threads, Meta’s rival to Twitter, within the first few hours of its launch, the company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Thursday. The app went live on Apple and Android app stores in 100 countries at 2300 GMT on Wednesday and will run with no ads for now, but its release in Europe has been delayed over data privacy concerns. Threads is the biggest challenger yet to Elon Musk-owned Twitter, which has seen a series of potential competitors emerge but not yet replace one of the world’s biggest social media platforms, despite its struggles. “10 million sign-ups in seven hours,” Zuckerberg wrote on his official Threads account Thursday. Accounts were already active for celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Hugh Jackman, as well as media outlets including The Washington Post and The Economist. Zuckerberg also offered a shot across the bow at Musk – the pair are known to be bitter rivals and have offered to wrestle it out in a cage fight. In his first tweet in over a decade, Zuckerberg posted a Spiderman pointing at Spiderman meme in an apparent reference to the similarities between Threads On Threads, he wrote: “It’ll take some time, but I think there should be a public conversations app with 1 billion+ people on it. Twitter has had the opportunity to do this but hasn’t nailed it. Hopefully, we will.” Twitter has said it has more than 200 million daily users. – ‘Be kind’ – Threads was introduced as a clear spin-off of Instagram, which offers a built-in audience of more than two billion users, sparing the new platform the challenge of starting from scratch. Instagram chief Adam Mosseri told users that Threads was intended to build “an open and friendly platform for conversations.” “The best thing you can do if you want that too is be kind,” he said. Zuckerberg is widely understood to be taking advantage of Musk’s chaotic ownership of Twitter to push out the new product, which Meta hopes will become the go-to platform for celebrities, companies and politicians. “It’s as simple as that: if an Instagram user with a large number of followers such as Kardashian or a Bieber or a Messi begins posting on Threads regularly, a new platform could quickly thrive,” strategic financial analyst Brian Wieser said on Substack. Analyst Jasmine Engberg from Insider Intelligence said Threads only needs one out of four Instagram monthly users “to make it as big as Twitter.” “Twitter users are desperate for an alternative, and Musk has given Zuckerberg an opening,” she added. Under Musk, Twitter has seen content moderation reduced to a minimum with glitches and rash decisions scaring away celebrities and major advertisers. – EU ‘many months’ away – Meta has its legion of critics too, especially in Europe, which could slow the growth of Threads. The company has been criticized for its handling of personal data, the essential ingredient for targeted ads that help it rake in billions of dollars in profits. Mosseri said he regretted that the launch was delayed in the European Union, but had Meta waited for regulatory clarity from Brussels, Threads would have been “many, many, many, months away.” “I was worried that our window would close because timing is important,” he told the tech news site Platformer. According to a source close to the matter, Meta was wary of a new law called the Digital Markets Act (DMA), which sets strict rules for the world’s “gatekeeper” internet companies. One rule restricts platforms from moving user data between products, as would potentially be the case between Threads and Instagram. Meta was caught doing just that after it bought WhatsApp, and European regulators will be on high alert to ensure it does not do so illegally with Threads. Globally, the Threads hashtag on Twitter has garnered over a million tweets, with many users jokingly suggesting people will return to Musk’s platform. “Meta loves to collect private information and I don’t trust the way it treats private information,” a Japanese user tweeted. “I also have the impression that this is a company hated by EU, so I’m reluctant.” But some said they would permanently move to Threads. I typed more on the last post but the save button grayed out, so it’s not getting up. Demon lord is making it impossible 2 write more on my aunt & cousin. Looks like I’m getting eczema again in my left hand. Have diarrhea again , difficulty breathing again.
