If anyone wants some inspiration for how to write Asha and Star romance dialogue (or good romantic dialogue) watch this and then watch Stardust, it’s on paramount + right now
if you follow me on twt/x, you'll notice that I keep retweeting about the maison margiela ss24 haute couture show. let me tell you, i haven't really been following fashion but this particular one really got my attention. maybe it's because it holds so much nostalgia for me, I grew up going through the magazines where fashion is presented more of an art piece than a piece of clothing. but it's especially also because I just love how gothic and whimsical the show looked and it felt like I saw ramblings of a man unfolding right in front of me. that's honestly how I want to present ROAM and I'm more than energised to jump back on writing more of ramblings ❤️
The aphorism, 'As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,' not only embraces the whole of man's being, but is so comprehensive as to reach out to every condition and circumstance of his life.
A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.
And you... will realize the Vision (not the idle wish), of your heart, be it base or beautiful, or a mixture of both, for you will always gravitate towards that which you, secretly, most love.
Into your hands will be placed the exact results of your thoughts; you will receive that which you earn; no more, no less.
Whatever your present environment may be, you will fall, remain, or rise with your thoughts, your Vision, your Ideal.
You will become as small as your controlling desire; as great as your dominant aspiration.
The "i" is lower case for a reason. "i" don't always feel like "I." Let me explain...
A lower case letter is small. It's not proper. It's the first step before the development of its uppercase counterpart.
"i" is learning how to view this world before become an uppercase letter.
"i" has a world of possibility before it.
"i" sometimes becomes "I" too quickly or in a way that others would like it to be. Afterall, you can't be lowercase forever.
But sometimes the responsibility of becoming "I" becomes overwhelming and it breaks. It wasn't ready to become uppercase. Not just yet. It was still learning. Evolving. Growing.
These days, "I" feel myself returning back to "i." The curious little lowercase letter that wants to explore all the beauty the uppercase world has to offer.
"i" is our inner child. Sometimes we become to eager and desperate to grow up that we force ourselves to become "I" because, well...that's what the uppercases letters want you to do. Eventually, the exhaustion of being "I" is too great. We collapse in on ourselves like a black hole. But the beauty is that on the other side of that black hole is nothing and everything. It's uncertainty to be discovered. It's a little scary and a little exciting. It's perfect for a little "i" filled with wonder and curiosity.
It's then that we surrender to "i." We let them lead the way. We let them bring us back to become what we've always been...A letter. A beautiful letter that is capable of unique transformation.
Because when we see that "i" and "I" have a time and place to exist, we are healing. That is truly a beautiful discovery.
Comedy and Tragedy in an Indiana Jones Mummy Spoof
Hey everyone,
So here is that movie poster that was in my fans art commission drawing. I present to you Comedy and Tragedy in Inflator's of the Mummy's Tomb. It's an inspiration from the Mummy movies, and Raider's of the Lost Ark. About 70 to 80 percent of this drawing is hand drawn. It was really fun working on this drawing. I am both a fan of the Mummy movies and Indiana Jones. As you can tell I got the inspiration from the Raider's movie poster.
If you want to know who are the mummies in the picture, then send me a message or follow me on DeviantART.
