I'm doing some massive overhauling of this blog in order to feel comfortable coming back to it.
One measure I will be doing is taking @inscribedcomic off of tumblr, Tapas, and Webtoons.
If you are interested owning the first and only chapter after it's been removed from cyberspace, please contact me directly and I will set up a pay-what-you-want download on Ko-Fi.
I'll even throw in an extra download bundle of extras from this tumblr before I delete those as well.
I love looking back on the work and how far I've come, but I really need to streamline where all my different tidbits and WIPs are. It'll be so much easier for me if I don't have to manage 3 different sites for a work on indefinite hiatus/restructuring.
So this isn't the end, but a precursor to the beginning.
I'll add the former inscribed taglist to this post later today.

Happy WBW!
I'd like to know more about the life of an Inscribed (I love the name!). How are they treated by society? Do they need to train or follow a certain path?
Happy WBW, thanks for the ask! I could easily (and happily!) talk about the Inscribed all day, so thanks for the opportunity to do so.
Day to day life can be pretty variable, but nearly all of them have a draw towards conflict due to their powers or their history. It's hard to live a quiet life when you are haunted by the ghost of a near death experience. Even those that try and keep their heads down will end up attracting Wyrd things to them. Having power in Lexical is like having a giant bonfire in the middle of the night: it'll attract both good and malicious things to you.
As for how society views them: by and large even Wardens (government sponsored Inscribed) are somewhat feared. Good PR can only go so far if your main ability is summoning a giant Centipede Moth that consumes memories of itself. Firstwavers are downright hated and often blamed (justifiably) for the state of the world (vaguely on fire). That said, Inscribed who don't hide behind a mask tend to have better optics. The next door neighbor that gardens and fixes up houses with clay clones of herself is much more personable and likable than anyone running around in a costume.
Certain titles lean more heavily into the concept of training than others, but nearly everyone benefits from a teacher. Thieves probably need the most training considering their power tends to be the most invasive (most new thieves constantly steal their element form around them without even noticing). There are a few Inscribed focused factions that naturally tend towards supporting new members such as the lord's Court or the Wardens. All that said, training is not necessarily required; a newly Inscribed person vast and volatile power.
I'm currently running a TTRPG game of Lexical with a group of Inscribed (players), and so I can say with experience that the day to day life of Inscribed is hectic. It doesn't help that they are a "villain" group who has named themselves 'Civil Disobedience'. By and large I think they are a good example of the usual group of Inscribed are like: a group of adventures dealing with compounding issues.

If you could make games about the many villains in Multiversal Fusion, what would they be like and who would they be about?
I've always thought it'd be cool if there was a game about Rex and the many jobs he took before and during The G War.
I can see it, gameplay wise, as being a mix of Assassin's Creed and Sniper Elite/Ghost Warriors.
The enemies would most likely be from the many other factions and the "final boss" actually being each and every one of The Coven Heads (Including their Bard, Abomination, and Beast Tamer replacements) during the near end of The G War.
I could definitely see the X ray working well in showing off the inner workings of disassembly drones, worker drones, Grunts, witches, and certain inscribed.

*inhales*- Okay so turns out my artistic abilities is heavily related to my mental state (go figure). I had previously made Mazey with a very (very) bland design that I wasn’t proud of. Earlier this week I was starting up college again and got I bit nervous over the possibilities I would forget stuff I learned. Basically I was focused on my school. But now that I’ve completed a majority of the assignments and gotten back in the groove of being in my ice cold clinic 🥶 I can fully concentrate on what character design to pick. Sooo uh yeah.
This is Mazey Umiu !
And yes her little hair buns are supposed to look like the slug feelers nudibranchs have and NOT cat ears!
She is a slug! A weird ghost slug which is why her ghost appearance looks so..liquidy(?)
I,ll take asks for her too if you guys are interested.
Oh right! Sorry about not answering the Blyndeff Family questions! TxT I will get to those but I wanna make them good and not rushed so it will be awhile. My battery is at 6 rn so bye bye! ^^

Poids d'un Oiseau by Leonor Fini, Lise Deharme, Max Walter Svanberg $2,500 [Paris]: Collection "Le Terrain Vague, 1955. Cover illustration by Max Walter Svanberg, five interior illustrations by Leonor Fini (uncredited, save for a printed signature on four of the plates). Inscribed by both Deharme and Fini on the title spread, with an original drawing by Fini. Though neither woman's signature is particularly rare, the drawing is an exquisite representation of Fini's work. See the full listing.

Happy Storyteller Saturday! If you'd like a question to answer, what's your favorite part of writing with a new character?
I love writing new Lexical characters, mainly Inscribed. Due to the nature of how their powers work their Inscription goes hand and hand with who they are as a character. I'm sure I've written about it before somewhere, but the positive/negative nature of inscriptions is such a fun concept to work with.
So I decide to make a new Knight of Hearts and very suddenly I have several details already presenting themselves. What does a character who empowers themselves with mind and water look like internally? Is this power representative of who they were/are; or who they need to be?
Basically, I love power system mechanics as metaphor for who characters are. As such, I love explore those concepts when making new characters. Thanks for the ask!
