Bolin Jue is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Coachella Valley/Inland Empire, CA. He has notably been in many bands including Town Troubles (his current project), Sailor on Shore, Graveyard School, Something Vague, Pterodactyls, Hang Yourself Artist, White Buffalo, and probably a lot more. He is known for his prolific output and lending his talents to various local artists, as well as being a blogger and English professor. The track above is an unreleased track from his first demo (c. 2009)--of which I might have the only remaining copy. The song is an acoustic ballad featuring Vanessa Mely Mendoza, a friend who died tragically in 2022. In honor of her one year of passing, I unearthed this song for the world to hear her voice.
