Hi! Now that I’ve started writing substantially again, I thought I’d get back here and do some remodeling. c: I’d love to make other writer friends, so please feel free to interact with this, especially if you’re another writeblr or writing blog, and I’ll follow!

Started writing those cliché “chosen, lost princess” when I first learned English in elementary and middle school, and haven’t stopped since. They’ve only gotten more “chosen hero”-y and “lost princess”-y since then.

About my writing ✧･ﾟ: *:

The fantasy genre is where I feel most comfortable, and I don’t tend to go outside of it often. Writing includes a lot of:

magic + dragons

gays! gays!! more gays!

more world building than necessary

gods that are heavily flawed, humans basically

sometimes there’s romance (not love triangles, though)

multiverse! and travel between them + timelines

found family

royalty! usually lost (someone get them out of the woods-)

diverse creatures! comes with art usually

Has been described as:

“if an old world priestess came to the modern world and took up writing”

My WIPs ✧･ﾟ: *:

Each wip has its own tag, as do most of the characters/ species/ etc.

✦ 1: The Lost Princess of Yggdrasil

TLDR: A lost avariel princess comes back from death to avenge the near extinction of her species, against her own wishes. As she gears up for an endless war, she has to choose between martyrdom and cowardice- though it seems, not for the first life.

✦ 2: The Book Keeper

TLDR: An author finds herself entangled in the middle of the faerytales her family has been in charge of writing for centuries, and has to decide if she wants to continue the same story or change the plot.

No one told me there were consequences from ignoring brainrot!

I've been shoving it down and making up silly little stories in my head for months, but I finally decided to write one little fic and everything else came pouring out.

I now have a 5k word outline (and still going!) for the most hyper-specific, self-indulgent fic I have ever written, full of tropes I don't usually touch. If I ever work up the nerve to post it, you'll see what I'm talking about, but oh man...

I should have just bled out this rot when it could have been a one-shot. Now look at the mess.

Fanfic February 2023 - Announcements

Yes, the name is new, but this is the same thing I did last year: 28 back-to-back NSFW fics, one posted every day of February. Why February? Easy: I hate February, and these fics are a good distraction.

Details and announcements under the cut!

I won't post a full listing of the characters I'll be writing about, but the fics do span a pretty wide range of genres. Some fic chapters will be mature rather than explicit simply because it's part of a two-part fic and the first part is less spicy. Blame my love of slow-burns!

Every fic has some kind of NSFW eventually, so - as I said above - I do not encourage or allow minors to interact with my works. I have a blog with SFW fics at @wanderinginksplot if you're underage.

I have a lot of follow-ups from last year, but there's also some new material that I'm really excited about! If a fic ties to one posted last year, I'll include a link at the top so you can catch up if you want.

If you read my works on AO3, I'll be cross-posting these fics, but it may be at a slower pace. For last year's Star Wars fics in particular (the ones held in the work 'Spicy Star Wars One-Shots'), they will stay in the work if they have one or two chapters. Everything with three chapters or more will be moved to their own work.

While I don't reveal my character list before I post, I want to give a disclaimer: I know my Jareth fic Dreams has gotten quite a bit of attention lately. I appreciate that more than I can say! However, I did not write a sequel to Dreams for Fanfic February 2023. I absolutely intend to continue the story, but I was running late with the fic-writing (still ongoing) and didn't want to rush the follow-up. Thank you for your understanding.

If you have questions about which sequels I've written, feel free to send me a message. I don't have exact posting dates set, but I can at least tell you if your favorite fic from last year got a sequel!

On the note of wanting to see specific works, I don't do taglists for NSFW fics. There's too much work that goes into them and into making sure no involved people are minors. It takes a lot of time and effort and I still have fics to write! Sorry for any inconvenience.

I'll be tagging all of these fics with '#fanfic february 2023', so that's the tag to block if you're not interested in seeing these works!
