The Drone maker Ideaforge Technology Limited is ready to issue 300 crore of fresh issue and 4.87 lakh equity shares via its IPO with a face value of Rs 10. IPO issue proceeds are to be used to repay loans, product development, and fund working capital. The company is one of the first few corporations in India to enter the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market and ranks 7th globally as per the report - Drone Industry Insights December 2022.

AKME Fintrade (India) Ltd

Akme Fintrade (India) Ltd is another company on the list of upcoming IPOs in 2023. Providing lending solutions in rural and semi-urban cities, it is ready to raise funds through its public issue. Its IPO comprises fresh issuance of 1.1 crore equities with a face value of Rs.10 each to be listed on the NSE and BSE. This Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) wants to use the proceeds of the issue for its capital base. The sole book-running lead manager of the issue is Gretex Corporate Services Ltd.

FirstMeridian Business Services Ltd

The company FirstMeridian Business Services Ltd, involved in staffing business and offering allied services has submitted its DRHP with the SEBI. The IPO size is Rs.740 crore. It was aimed to raise Rs.800 crore earlier. Its IPO comprises fresh issuance of equities worth Rs.50 crore and an OFS (Offer For Sale) of Rs.690 crore. The company wants to utilize the raised capital from the fresh issuance towards debt payment and general corporate purposes. The company, established in 2008, has served big names. Their key clients include Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Eureka Forbes, Dell International Services India, Exide Industries, PhonePe, and others. Corrtech International Ltd

Corrtech International Ltd is a pipeline laying solutions provider and has filed its book-built public issue draft with the SEBI. Funds raised from the fresh issue are to be used for debt payment, funding redemption of debentures, financing new equipment, capital infusion in its subsidiary company, and general corporate purposes. It is offering 35% of the issue to retail investors.

LIC IPO subscribed 12% as of 11 am, retail investor portion subscribed 18%

LIC IPO - The initial public offering (IPO) of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) was subscribed 12 per cent as of 11 AM on Wednesday, the first day of the issue. The portion reserved for institutional investors remained unsubscribed. The high net worth individual portion was subscribed 4 per cent. The retail investor portion was subscribed 18 per cent. The portion reserved for employees was subscribed 28 per cent. And the portion reserved for policyholders was subscribed 26 per cent.

On Monday, LIC raised Rs 5,627 crore from anchor investors ahead of its mega IPO, with 71 per cent of the amount coming from domestic mutual funds (MFs).

The state-owned insurance giant allotted nearly 59.3 million shares to 123 investors at Rs 949 apiece. The insurer’s IPO will remain open from May 4 to May 9. After accounting for the anchor book, the IPO still has to generate bids for shares worth nearly Rs 15,000 crore.

ive been stuck in a haze of college applications the past few weeks so gonna complain about one actually. i’ve been going back and forth between transferring to a public uni in my state (fl) thats pretty good and even prestigious for my major but bro… they’ve been stripping away any dei program and protections for students of different backgrounds 🤪 recently saw that some students were banned from the campus for 3 years because they protested in support of palestine

Huh.

The meetings TK normally attended on Saturdays had been cancelled (limited funding, for the community centre they met in) so he'd been shuffled around with everyone else in the group, different meetings with a few newcomers each so nobody was somewhere they didn't know anyone. It wasn't ideal and it was going to unsteady some people for sure, but it had had to happen, and TK was used to attending new groups, meeting new people. He'd been prepared to know exactly three people (the other members from Saturday) when he turned up and nobody else.

Instead he knew Dr Bloom, an ER doctor he'd handed off patients to more than once, and there was -- some shift about it. Shift of knowledge about them. He knew them, he had known them through the hospital and through the work they both did, and now: he knew they came to NA meetings. Huh.

... But maybe they wouldn't want him to recognise them at all, so TK pulled his expression into a half-smile (greeting; acknowledgment; promise he was not going to greet them by name unless they greeted him first), and he sat himself down, hands open and rubbing only mildly-anxiously along his thighs. Okay. More cool group buddies than he'd known he'd have, to begin with. That was... pretty awesome, actually.

"Hi, everyone. I'm TK. I've been sober two years, been in recovery about..." stall only so he could count, "six. I'm an addict." The introductions part of getting into a new group sucked, but the getting to know them was always cool. TK was ready to get into it.
