i’m not here to claim that wyll doesn’t deserve more extra content or that larian’s perspective of him isn’t rooted in racism in any way whatsoever. however, i sincerely believe that it’s always important to list the facts first before misinformation continues to spread which only results in more needless outrage.
these are all of wyll’s scenes that exist in the game as of now:
meeting karlach, mizora, and his transformation, the tiefling party kiss, the dance scene, mizora visiting camp, another scene where mizora visits camp, and the proposal scene. additionally, mizora and uldred can join camp, if he is alive.
in strict comparison - this is the exact amount of scenes the other origin characters have:
Astarion has 9 scenes, 6 of which can possibly be romantic.
Lae’zel has 7 non-standard dialogue scenes, 3 of which can possibly be romantic.
Shadowheart has 6 non-standard dialogue scenes, 3 of which can possibly be romantic.
Gale has 6 non-standard dialogue scenes, 3 of which can possibly be romantic.
Karlach has 4 non-standard dialogue scenes, 3 of which can possibly be romantic.
Wyll has 5 non-standard dialogue scenes, 2 of which can possibly be romantic.
source: [x]
wyll is lacking one scene compared to characters like shadowheart and gale. lae’zel merely has another non-standard dialogue scene, while astarion has double the amount of possible romance scenes and 9 scenes in total.
here is a video of wyll’s entire story: [x] at a duration of 2:25:24 in total it’s very similar in length to the romances of the other companions the same channel uploaded. (minthara & halsin excluded)
i have also seen many people refer to the datamined voicelines as proof of how much content wyll lacks. this, however, doesn’t tell us much since those compilations include battle grunts, noises, and other repeated lines. if you want to check them out for yourself, here is chubblot’s playlist on youtube: [x]
wyll’s romance/approval-specific greetings also exist, they are merely bugged. although i have heard that some people have been able to trigger them. bugged content is something that also affects other companions – in fact, most of gale’s romance scenes and some integral dialogue have been bugged for months now with no fixes anywhere in sight. if you don’t want to look for wyll’s greetings in the files, i took the liberty of doing it for you:
alas, his general reactivity after act i remains the same as with the others. aka: he's barely responsive to his surroundings nor to any key decisions the player makes.
wyll also isn’t the only character who isn’t able to make his own choice on whether he agrees to sell his soul for his father’s life or not. in fact, the only characters who can decide their own fate are shadowheart and lae’zel. the latter option only now being added with patch 6.
so what exactly did wyll get after patch 6? the same amount of kisses like everyone else: 4 in total. as well as some new idle animations and polished facial expressions. the kiss where he invites tav for a quick twirl had already been added in an earlier update (patch 5, 30th november 2023). which means it’s understandable that certain characters who didn’t receive any new animations or other content before were now added with patch 6 as well.
wyll’s quest regarding ansur also didn’t get removed from the game. this is plain false. larian merely changed the subcategory in the journal (which larian had done previously with astarion’s gur-related quest as well)
if you have a gripe with this particular decision: that is valid. the quest, however, is still the exact same as it was before.
i see fandom heading in this really dangerous direction where people fully believe they have the right to attack others for pointing out the existence of false information. i understand that people are upset about wyll having less content than characters like astarion and i am in no way here to claim that you should refrain from calling out racism where it’s due. however, this hostile behavior directed at anyone who dares to disagree with you is creating a really toxic environment within online spaces, where people hesitate to engage with the wyll side of the fandom at all (out of fear of immediately receiving the racist card for merely correcting inconsistencies in logic). and in case it needs to be said again: it is never justified to harass real people or send death threats to others under any circumstances, much less if it concerns a fictional character.
i, much like everyone, really want wyll to receive more love from fandom and larian alike. but it is no one’s place to police other players on how they should engage with this specific character in their own game. if others simply couldn’t connect to wyll as much as you personally have – for whatever reason – that is on them. it's them who are missing out. this shouldn’t hinder your enjoyment of this character in any way or discourage you from creating more fan content.
TL;DR: it’s completely valid to request more wyll content, but please don’t resort to “demands” or public pressure directed at the devs. this is only doing more harm in the long run (to wyll’s, as well as his fanbase's reputation within the rest of the fandom instead of actually accomplishing much). don’t spread misinformation that he’s the only one of the companions who is continuously receiving the short end of the stick in terms of content, general reactivity, and bug fixes. if anything, the biggest difference is between him and astarion (again, much like every other companion).
🙏 please be respectful to each other 🙏
update, 19th february:
a user suggested providing an alternative to petitions on this post and linking directly to larian’s official feedback form, which you can find here: [x]
you’ll be able to add screenshots of the specific issue you’re reporting. keep in mind that you need to name your exact game version if you plan to send in a report. i’ve had larian ask me to send them the specific game files in the past, so it’s best to keep them on hand in advance.
larian also has a faq page on how to submit a general bug report [x]
here is an example of what to write:
(I’d like to address the disparity in content between Wyll and the other origin companions.) As of now, Wyll is lacking an entire scene compared to the rest of the characters, and his romance-specific greetings remain bugged as well. The lack of equal scenes makes Wyll’s story feel lackluster at times and undermines the pacing of his romance and overall character arc. It is very disheartening for POC players specifically to see racial biases reflected in his treatment and that Wyll didn’t receive the same amount of resources. Considering his narrative role as the Grand Duke's son he also deserves to be in the spotlight. When can we expect any fixes or additional content?

can i interest anyone in a retgmt16 snippet on this fine evening
Zuko gently rubs Sokka’s left calf where it’s draped over his lap, watching curiously as Sokka untangles the wires of a TENS unit. It’s kind of a bitch to set up with all of its wires and electrode patches and buttons, but he’s become fond of it lately in lieu of his heating pad during the hotter summer months. Then again, because he’s Sokka, he loves any excuse to play with a gadget of some kind, even if it’s at his own expense. The TENS doesn’t have a stupid nickname yet, but Zuko figures it’s only a matter of time.
Sokka scrunches forward to unwrap his knee, methodically placing the sticky sides of the TENS patches around it instead. Easy as anything, he catches Zuko studying him, and a smile pulls at his lips. “Looks weird, I know.”
Zuko’s thumb moves softly over the faded surgery scar just below his knee. “But it helps?”
His eyes soften as he places another patch. “Yeah, Sunshine. It helps. Usually.”
“Can I do the next one?”
"I got it," he shrugs, slowly peeling a bit of plastic film off of the last patch. “It’s not rocket science.”
“So even I can do it, then.”
There. Zuko likes it when something he says makes Sokka smile. He should do that more often.
“Fine." Sokka places the last patch in his outstretched hand and lies back against the couch. “Don’t fuck it up.”
“Or what?”
“Or it won’t help.”
The patch is weird and sticky, suddenly awkward to hold as he hovers it over Sokka’s knee and tries to find the right spot. There are wires everywhere, more patches and scars and knobby knees. It may not be rocket science but there’s definitely a method to this madness, and Zuko suddenly realizes that he doesn’t actually know how to interpret it at all. The last thing he wants to do is be the reason it doesn’t work, or cause Sokka any more pain than he’s already in. Maybe this was a bad idea.
“Where the fuck am I supposed to put it?”
Like the sun on the side of his face, Sokka's eyes are on him, watching this all go down with unbridled fondness.
“What?!” Zuko snaps.
“Nothing. Just love you.”
His smile is utterly disarming. Zuko can feel the blush creeping up his neck. “Love you too.”
“You’re so cute.”
“Shut up and tell me where to put this.”
“Can’t do both at the same time.”
“Sokka.”
He laughs and leans forward, using his finger to draw invisible lines from one patch to another in an X shape over his knee. “See here? The channels are crossed like this, so it covers more surface area. So that patch needs to go opposite this one. There’s other ways to do it, and it could change depending on what part of the body you’re trying to work with, but that’s basically it.”
Zuko follows his direction, carefully placing the last patch in its designated spot and gently smoothing it down. “Now what?”
“The fun part.” Sokka lies back again, grabbing the handheld machine on the other end of the wires and fiddling with the dials. “I usually start at level two, and work my way up to a five or six if it’s really bad. Can’t go much higher than that though or it might make it worse.”
Zuko listens intently, making several mental notes. Something fierce and protective washes over him; so often, he feels helpless when it comes to easing his partner’s pain, but he’ll do whatever he can, whenever Sokka will let him. And sure, Sokka could do stuff like this himself if he really wanted to, but he doesn't have to. Not anymore. They're in this together now.
“How bad is it?”
Sokka hums, considering. “I'm only on level three. At least for now.”
It’s a small relief. He rarely goes a day without pain anymore, or maybe more accurately, he’s been more honest about how often it’s bothering him. To think that there were probably countless times when he was hurting and said nothing makes Zuko’s stomach twist with guilt. All that pain and still, Sokka kept showing up for them.
He doesn’t see how amazing he is, but Zuko does, every day. It’s hard to ignore something that bright.

[UPDATE]
Taehyung has now been assigned to 2nd corps of the Special Mission task force and will be deployed to the unit on Feb 8. The 2nd Corps (nicknamed “Double Dragons”) is a unit in charge of the most evil military demarcation line border area in the entire army. The 2nd Corps, a corps known to destroy the knees and ankles of countless soldiers.
II Corps= Offensive Force + GOC
Mission of Ground Operations Command is to deter the full spectrum of threats and guard the Military Demarcation Line.
Offensive force is an aggressive military operation aimed at the enemy and their job is to engage the enemy in the battle and attack/invade
The location of the unit is notoriously brutal; as Taehyung’s unit is placed in the valley between twin peaks, so called twin dragons(쌍용), it is very difficult to reach the unit because of the rough mountainous terrain which make the unit size small. Although all military units have their own ups and downs, his unit particularly faces iron fences against the North which has countless stairways along the fences for the guard duty (complete armed guard). With heavy gears and arms the stairways make the duty extra difficult so that it is one of the place where people avoid to be placed to serve.
You can watch an informative video on what Taehyung’s unit entails

(Lana's POV)
FORD & COLLINS WEDDING WEEKEND
Pictures
The pictures have come back from the photographer an I'm obsessed! I had a vision of flowers and greenery contrasted by the desert location, and together with my wedding planner we managed to pull it off wonderfully.
My dress was the dress of my dreams! Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamt of having my own princess style wedding gown, and I'm so happy I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I began the wedding dress search almost immediately after we got engaged, I began looking at boutiques in town and online stores. An on-going issue was the issue of modesty, most of the dresses I was seeing had a few issues that would need to be fixed and the extra tailoring would be an unnecessary cost. I prayed about the issue, as well as asking my friends and family to pray on it, and 2 weeks later I received a text message from my friend Lorilee who found a boutique in Windenburg that does modest wedding dresses. A few more weeks passed as we all moved things around our schedule to make it work, and one fine winter day we headed to a small town in windenburg and I said yes to the dress!
The star of the wedding was the giant leaf wall that I had erected for the ceremony, I saw it being done at a wedding by a photographer I follow on simstagram and knew it was something I would like at my wedding. I found a great deal on the oversized plants from a local hobby store that had them on sale, and the wooden boards came from spare wood that hadn't been used after various projects.
Parker and I are so grateful to our parents for their wisdom and guidance, they've sacrificed so much for us to be able to get to this point and for that I'm so grateful.
These two ladies right here have been my backbone and I thank the Lord every day for these two ladies in my life. My mama has been such a good role model for me, she's taught me everything I know and is a true Proverbs 31 woman. I'm so proud to be able to now call Casandra my mother-in-law, because in my eyes she's basically superwoman. She's birthed and raised 13 wonderful children (one of whom is quite special might I add) and homeschooled them all whilst also fulfilling her roles as pastor's wife, sister, friend, and teacher.
As much as I wished I could've had 30 people in my bridal party, I had to take into account that people have loads of responsibilities and various other things that would've been incompatible with being in the wedding party. I had my sister Lyndsay as my maid of honour, then Lorilee, Annette, and Priscilla as bridesmaids. I also had Parker's niece Chloe as a junior bridesmaid and her sisters Rose, Violet, and Daisy as flowergirls; My baby cousins were the ring bearers. Parker had his brother Charles as his best man (they've now been each others best men), then his brother Reece, his brother-in-law Shane, and his cousin Tanner as his groomsmen.
